Food was very tasty, service was very friendly,

The food was delicious. The staff very inattentive. We had spare ribs. We didn't get any napkins even when we asked. The promised mayo for the fries was also forgotten. Although the summer menu says shrimp pans, the waitress said several times that that wasn't true. We also had to wait over 20 minutes for a Kölsch. The empty plates remained on the tables until the end. The person sitting next to us was refused to bring just one portion of fries with his wine and beer. The boss doesn't tolerate it.

Service was a disaster, food was good We were there with 10 people and the trouble started in advance: it was not possible to reserve a table outside. Instead we were given a table by the window with a view of the Rhine. On the day of our visit the weather was very good, so we decided to have an aperitif outside. However, we were not allowed to put the tables together or sit in the path of the very moody waitress. We had to listen to comments like “It doesn’t work that way, I can’t get through it…” or “That’s bad…”. Finally we sat down at our table inside to eat. After asking twice if we could order something to drink, we finally got the menus. After a long wait, the “very good-humoured” waitress appeared to take the food order. When we wanted to order additional drinks, the comment came: “Now I’ll have the food first and then something to drink…” There was nothing wrong with the food - everything was fresh and visually appealing. In terms of taste, we in the group agreed that it was delicious. However, we were a bit irritated when the baked Camembert half slipped off the plate when it was served, without the waitress apologizing or even reacting to it. After eating we had to ask again if we could order something else. The waitress reluctantly took our order. After the total bill was paid and we stayed seated for a while because not everyone in our group wanted to leave, we simply weren't served anymore. After a good 20 minutes and several unsuccessful attempts to order something, we decided to leave. The waitress had looked over at us several times from the counter, but despite my attempt to “disturb” her while she was polishing the glasses, she didn’t respond. The highlight was when we finally left and had a group chat about the poor service. The waitress gave us a dirty look while she was being served her own food at the staff table. We left the restaurant without saying goodbye. The restaurant diagonally across the street still had a table available for six people, and we spent two lovely hours there before heading home.

The food was always very good. The view directly over the Rhine was very nice. I can only recommend it. We'll be back 👍

We have been to Wirtshaus Knott several times and we have never been disappointed. The Keller or Köbes waitress Jakubine as they say in Cologne are nice and also have the typical Cologne humor. The food is plentiful and tasty. Typical Rhenish cuisine and different. Price and performance match.

My food was good, but that of my companion was not at all. Undercooked vegetables in bite-sized pieces with pork loin and hollandaise in between and large jacket potato halves in a wild mess. I felt sorry for my companion, an old lady who was really looking forward to the meal. One service was very friendly, another not so friendly. A fantastic location on the Rhine. The schnitzels looked very good throughout, as far as you could see on other tables.

It's lovely to sit on the terrace with a view of the Rhine. The waitress is quite grumpy and is on a first-name basis with everyone, but we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. We ordered a salad that was visually appealing, but unfortunately upon closer inspection the salad turned out to be almost inedible. The salad dressing was very thick and drowned the whole thing, the lettuce leaves were totally wilted, the cucumber was indefinably slippery. A single cherry tomato and lots of bacon. The chanterelles were okay, beans, carrots, coleslaw were also okay. After complaining, the salad was not charged for, which we thought was very decent. The goat cheese was burnt on the bottom, but you could cut it off.

Were there today. Very unfriendly service. There was no greeting, no one asked (2 people) if we would like something to drink. Then the female waitress gave me a look of death. That was enough and we left without ordering food

You can't complain....two out of 3 meals with sauce in a bag, tasteless, salad with sand, wheat beer with hair in the glass....according to. Köbes seems to have enjoyed everyone else's meal - so no apology necessary - otherwise a nice beer garden with a nice view

Delicious...almost always space, view of the Rhine, Peter is on the ball I always eat great roast beef, to this day, everything is getting more expensive and I'm happy to pay for what I have on my plate!!!! But price increase, extra really expensive and the slices are small and thin is not possible!!! I feel ripped off Peter and Dani...

Brauhaus character, food was ok. Price-performance ratio is also okay. If you're lucky enough to be able to sit outside, very nice. The service was friendly but also inattentive. But that's probably because there aren't enough staff. Nevertheless we were satisfied.

Family celebration with Kölsch buffet was ok, unfortunately the buffet didn't open until 8:30 p.m. instead of 7 p.m.; Desserts only from 10 p.m

We were there again today and, as always, it was very nice. It is one of the few remaining rustic Cologne restaurants. With a very good memory card, if someone just wants fries they should go to the chip shop, if they can't do without the rump steak... off to the steak house. There is good traditional food here, a perfect lunch menu, delicious Kölsch and very friendly service that suits the house. Always my pleasure.

This is a fantastic restaurant. We had a lovely beer there on a couple of days and also had food from the restaurant and it was great with large portions. It gets busy here so you may need to reserve a table. I think it's so popular because of the food, the atmosphere and the fantastic staff who made us 3 English guys very welcome. Many thanks to Alex, Ralph and Sondra for looking after us so well. Prost!!

You sit right on the Rhine and see Cologne Cathedral in the distance. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and the service is friendly.

We were here on June 20, 2024 and, among other things, ordered a goat cheese salad. We discovered maggots in there. The dish was returned but no apology, reparation or compensation followed! The salad was also charged! An impudence! The service was unfriendly, inattentive and slow! Whether we will ever go back here remains questionable.

The view from the terrace is very nice, but the staff only serves you as you walk past and don't ask. Cards aren't even dealt properly. The vegetarian main course is very little and the potato wedge with the vegetable pan is just two halved potatoes. Unfortunately, the dish wasn't quite cooked through and there wasn't enough sauce. The prices were also really steep and were outrageous for the dish.

Mega beautiful view with really solid brewery charm and very reasonable food at good prices.

The food was very tasty, even if it wasn't cheap (as advertised online) and unfortunately the staff wasn't that attentive and the fact that there was no lunch menu was a shame. But the view is very nice.

We were a group of 7 people. We ordered drinks and then wanted to have fries with mayo. That was denied because they don't make fries alone. Boss doesn't want that.

Matje's housewife style is served without sauce. When asked, the unfriendly service brought a piece of butter. After I tried the old potatoes, I called them back to the table. Without saying a word she cleared my plate and didn't ask what I would like instead. The second equally unfriendly waitress then asked when paying if everything was ok. The answer to our “nothing is wrong” was just why we order boiled potatoes when we don’t want them. This store is impossible!

Perfect location directly on the Rhine. The terrace is great, the service is nice and the food is delicious. The landlord puts a lot of effort into maintaining a price-performance ratio that suits Porz. We always enjoy going there.

The small beer garden outside was half full, a köbis immediately came and provided us with delicious cold Kölsch, directly with a view of the Rhine, what more could you want... very nice... and one of the last breweries in Porz... that Food is of very good quality, highly recommended...

Great location almost directly on the Rhine with a wonderful view of it. Very tasty selection, both in terms of food (classic tavern, but also more unusual items on the menu) and drinks. Of course, the Kölsch tastes particularly good on a warm summer day. We will be happy to come!

Cool place, real German-Cologne cuisine and atmosphere. I recommend Sauerbraten from horse meat to all Germans from Kazakhstan. Several types of draft beer from Gaffel Kölsch. In summer there is a comfortable terrace on the embankment with a beautiful view of the Rhine.

Very nice atmosphere, really traditional. Delicious food and a great view. It's a shame, potato pancakes are only available on Mondays. Today everything worked again. Great food, nice service and new contacts made. Tried broad beans today, first class.

We had a very tasty meal here. Our waitress ran the place alone that evening and was still very personable and attentive. You can taste that the schnitzels are not frozen, very tasty and crispy. We would definitely come here again if we are on the corner.

4,5 bis 5 Sterne. Typisch kölsches Brauhaus ohne in den Stadtrummel fahren zu müssen. Freundlicher Service, gutes Essen und lecker Kölsch. Und im Sommer hat mal halt den genialen Blick auf den Rhein.

Sehr Lecker da und freundliches Personal

Durch Zufall entdeckt Richtig leckeres Essen, schneller Service, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Große Portionen, Bier war auch lecker WC sauber Stühle bissel unbequem für zu langes Sitzen nicht gut geeignet Aber würde es auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen. Werden wieder kommen wenn wir wieder in Köln sind.

Nach sehr langer Zeit mal wieder im Wirtshaus Knott essen gewesen. Der Service war gut, die Bedienung nett und aufmerksam. Das Essen war lecker und auch kleine "Sonderwünsche" wurden berücksichtigt.

Meine Freundin & ich waren letzten Samstag im Haus Knott/ Außenbereich. Wollten eigentlich auch was essen, uns ist aber der Appetit nach mehrmaligem Betteln für ein Kölsch vergangen🧐 🤦‍♀️ Der Kellner war sehr unfreundlich. Schade👎

Leckeres Essen, schöne Aussicht. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier und die Portionen sind Recht groß. Das einzige was störend gewesen ist, das eine der Bedienung ziemlich unfreundlich an Anfang war. Kurz knappe Antworten auf Fragen und vernünftig bestellen war fast nicht möglich weil sie bei der Getränkebestellung direkt weglief. Sie bediente nicht alleine.

Das Haus Knott ist wie ein Brauhaus aufgebaut, entsprechend ist auch die Speisenkarte. Neben allen Gerichten mit Bratkartoffeln empfehle ich den Sauerbraten vom Pferd mit Rotkohl mit Kartoffelstampf. Es lohnt sich auch immer, einen Blick auf die Wochenkarte zu werfen. In der Saison kann die Außenterrasse mit Rheinblick genutzt werden. Dann solltest du aber darauf achten, dass die Bedienung dich auch wahrnimmt. Ich wäre ein Mal schon beinahe gegangen.

Ich war dort auf einen Geburtstag eingeladen und das Buffet war sehr reichhaltig und lecker.

Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und man hat einen tollen Ausblick auf den Rhein. Leider ist die Karte seit Jahren gleich und bietet keine kulinarischen Genüsse. Für den kleinen Hunger gibt es leider auch nichts wirklich Attraktives. Der Service könnte etwas zuvorkommender und schneller sein. An sich kann man hier aber ein paar nette Stunden verbringen...

Wir wurden tätlich angegangen und letztlich nicht bedient. Ich denke die Bedienung ist rassistisch und es passte ihr nicht, dass wir ausländisch aussehen. Das ist ein ganz komischer Laden-Vorsicht! Hier wollen die alten Kameradinnen noch unter sich bleiben!

Nettes Ambiente aussen. Innen eher Rustikal gehaltenes Gasthaus. Kleine Karte mit Kölschen leckereien. Sauerbraten vom Pferd. Super Hausgemachter Rotkohl. Alles okay.

Dises Wirtshaus ist in meinen Augen, absolute Spitze. Es liegt direckt am Rhein rechtsrheinisch, und es wehrt einen schönen Spatziergang zu machen. Mit Blick auf die Kölner Skyline. Toiletten sind ebenerdig. Das Essen Spitze, Und die Bedienung oberspitze.

Essen ist Lecker und Portion sehr üppig. Echte Hausmannskost. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert, direkt mit Blick aufs Wasser

Haus Knott, ich bin überzeugt von guter Lage, gutem Essen und freundlichem Personal.. da gibt es aber diesen einen Gast der sich auf mehreren Plattformen unter einem falschen Namen anmeldet, Frank Küchen.. er kritisiert Restaurants unter einem deutschen Namen, ist aber wohl stolzer Ausländer.. er wurde freundlich bedient, das reicht ihm nicht.. zuhause unglücklich und in einem Restaurant wo das Team ALLES für die Gäste gibt, dreht er durch… Sein Profilbild, sein Name, alles Fake.. Frank Küchen -der deutsche Name passt null zu deinem auftreten im internet! Du kriegst keine klicks für schlechte Restaurant Bewertungen im Web.. warum sitzt du als Türke in einem Restaurant und drehst durch? Mach das zuhause, bringe nicht ein Restaurant in Gefahr was top Qualität liefert und erst recht nicht das Personal was alles gibt um die Gäste glücklich zu machen! Halte dich an die Gesetze in dem Land wo du lebst, fotos und videos illegal ohne Zustimmung! Mach Videos von deiner Frau zuhause, aber frag sie vorher! Wenn du als ausländer mit einem Deutschen Fake Namen ein Restaurant kritisierst ist das schon absolut lost -Menschen zu filmen ist verboten! Ich kann nicht mehr sachlich bleiben, du bist peinlich und arm, ein Türke mit Sunnyboy Foto und deutschem Namen.. salam Habibi, wüsste ich deinen echten namen du Faker würde ich dich heute noch Besuchen und Videos von dir machen!!!

Eine etwas urige Kneipe und Restaurant am Rhein. Service ist nett. Am Essen war nichts auszusetzen. Auf Wünsche wird eingegangen und wenn möglich umgesetzt. Wenn es mit dem Essen mal länger dauern kann wird darauf hingewiesen. Kommen gerne wieder.
