Rabiang Thai Restaurant in München

The restaurant has really good food, but the service leaves something to be desired. The owners have already adapted too much to the standard charm of most Munich restaurateurs. And I have absolutely no understanding why I have to sit at the drafty entrance/exit even though I made a reservation 5 days in advance... I'm convinced you can do better...

Quite often visiting Thai restaurant either with family or colleagues from abroad who try to visit asian food. Foods are nice with good service as well. It is always very fast from ordering to getting dishes as well. Quite hot inside during summer but not a critical.

I was just here by chance. The food was really good, although not exactly cheap, and I was served very quickly.

Been there again and, as always, very polite, friendly, courteous service and the food is simply phenomenal!! Two different shrimp dishes had completely different sauces and the shrimp were lots of large prawns. Our absolute tip for Thai in Munich!

We were a total of 5 people and our conclusion for this shop is more appearance than the food is more like eating snacks, more decoration vegetables on a plate instead of meat in it, I'm happy to pay if the food is justified in this case overpriced shop for small portions Be careful, this store has bad reviews removed, you can always have my review removed, keep commenting again

Very good food, but far too expensive, very nice staff, because it is a small restaurant, people are literally crammed in here, far too little space to eat

There were four of us there and everyone had stomach problems. One even vomited all night long. Taste of the food, well, went like that. But the price-performance ratio is not right there. A meal around €21-25 is too much. Bamboo shoots consistently woody. I can get it cheaper and better somewhere else. We won't go there anymore.

Super good, authentic Thai food. A little expensive, but the service was absolutely impeccable and above expectations. There was free tea at the reception as well as watermelon and sweets at the end.

Been visiting this place a few times. Food is decent but not on my latest visit. They mixed chicken in my vegetarian order. In addition, they added 10% tip without asking. They didn't do that before. Specially after food mix up, who thinks they can charge tip without asking? I'll not visit again. I'm also complaining to food authorities as I've a picture proof with invoice so they can't deny that meat was served.

Very authentic Thai cuisine. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes. The choice is difficult. I can highly recommend crispy duck with crunchy vegetables, rice and tamarind sauce. The prices are reasonable. Price/performance ratio is good. The restaurant is located in Milbertshofen and has a nice atmosphere.

The restaurant really has a good menu, a great selection of varied dishes. The beef in my Paneng curry was particularly tender.

Sensationally good Thai food. Super nice service, even shrimp chips and a small dessert for free. Also very suitable for sitting outside. My absolute highlight was the crispy chicken. Rarely eaten so well!

Be careful about disabilities in my food! The restaurant is impressive in its design! The dishes are accurate with the taste of the East. The goose dish was perfect and not too spicy. The papaya salad was excellent. Large portions and courteous service, but there is no noticeable air conditioning, even though we arrived in the evening we felt a lack of air, luckily we sat in front of the front door

We were there for the second time now. As a welcome there is a green lemongrass tea, which is on the house. The food is very authentic and delicious. The dishes are attractively decorated in a typical country style. We were served very friendly and quickly. Great cuisine, friendly service. We particularly recommend the house-style duck (Rabiang ped), which is very crispy and tastes excellent. Our favorite restaurant in Munich. We'll be back.

I had Paneng as the main course. The menu described it as being served 'in a creamy coconut curry sauce.' What was served, however, was some chicken with raw, half-cooked bell pepper shells in a watery red curry paste sauce. Two lychees and five Thai eggplants completed this sad composition. For garnish, there was a carved carrot, shredded white cabbage, and a Lollo Rosso leaf, all without any dressing.In short, the food was bland and uninspired. Alongside it was mushy, sticky, and completely overcooked rice. I didn't leave a tip. The staff member who took the payment didn't thank me or say goodbye; instead, he turned around wordlessly. I think that says it all. Conclusion: completely overpriced, below-average Thai food, served with lots of pretentiousness by outrageously unfriendly people.

This place is amazing! They gave us unexpectedly a welcome tee, a little entrance and at the end some fruit on the house. The prices are fair and the food is delicious. I highly recommend you to come!

Loved the massaman curry, excellent flavor!

I was here recently with my father, who is not from Munich. Since there is no good Thai in his country, we went to Rabiang Thai, a local in my neighborhood. The service, the food and the atmosphere outside were convincing across the board. I think my father comes to visit me more often now :)

Expensive but very nice restaurant with all sorts of delicacies. Very friendly and fast service. There was a bowl of water for the dog.

Rabiang Thai offers delicious, authentic Thai dishes. The Ped Rabiang and Nüa Pad Wein Däng are exceptional. The duck is juicy and crispy, and the beef is delightful. Excellent service, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very cozy, beautifully decorated guest garden. Very attractive furnishings inside too. Very friendly and attentive service. Very short waiting time for the food. As a welcome there is tea and krupuk, with the bill some watermelon.

Very nice Thai restaurant with delicious and authentic food. The prices are a little higher. It was very nice that at the beginning we were given a small basket of crispy shrimp chips with homemade peanut sauce and tea as a welcome. We ordered two starters and two main courses - especially the Ped Rabiang, served in a hot, steaming pan, was a great little wow factor. Fast and very friendly service, nice atmosphere.

We were there in March and ordered our meals to take away. I have never eaten such a delicious panang curry as I did there! Not only did it look fantastic, it also tasted heavenly. The other food was also excellent. Only the high prices brought tears to my eyes. But at least I got an outstanding dish. For me it's absolutely right to be listed in "Thai Select".

I always used to eat well in this restaurant. Now you apparently have a new chef and the result is DEVASTATING. The positive first: the ambience, service and presentation of the food are good. Big portion. I had a massaman curry, a dish that thrives on the balance of cumin and coriander seeds and in which peanuts only play a marginal role. On the table came a brutally sugary mash with the main ingredient peanut butter - exactly the same sauce that is served as a dip for the shrimp chips. There is no excuse for that. The chicken panaeng that was brought as a replacement was also completely over-sweetened due to the pointless but generous addition of canned lychees. The food here tastes as if Lieschen Müller had sinned against Thai cuisine based on a recipe from BRIGITTE. If I were offered to eat in this restaurant for free for a month, I would be shocked and refuse and run away.

Fish was crispy. The sauce was served separately as per our requests. Not too spicy. The sauce is more of a sweet and sour sauce, not that authentic.

It's OK. I find the prices (hardly a main course under €25) too high for what is on offer. Some of the sauces were extremely sweet. The service could be more accommodating.

Our last visit will be in March 2024. Service was good. The tables are still very close together. The food came quickly, but with a delay and on top of that I had real problems with my stomach afterwards, similar to my companion. And that with a table bill of 90 euros... I lower my 2* to 1*. A pity. --- I'm renewing my previous 5* to 2*... With every good restaurant there comes a time when you don't like the food. (Ente S4 for 26.90 EUR), the service is unresponsive, you have to order your drink 3 times until it is on the table once, you wait forever for the bill and the 80 EUR for 2 people feels like too much . This was such a visit yesterday and I hope it will be better next time. --- As a reminder, this was after our first visit: Great Thai, great food and great service. Fair prices. We'd love to come back.

Decent service in a nice but crowded atmosphere. Unfortunately the food didn't live up to its promise, the duck was tough and dry and the red curry turned out to be a hotter peanut sauce. Other sauces for the starter and main course were sometimes very sweet. The dishes, especially the starters, are very large, but at the same time relatively expensive. The mango spritzer was very watery. Overall not worth the price.

We went to Rabiang Thai for the first time today, nice clean restaurant, very friendly staff, top quality food. Can recommend a visit to everyone.

A real insider tip. A first class Asian restaurant. I really enjoyed my visit here. The food tastes very good and is extremely beautifully prepared. You should definitely make a reservation here. If you're really lucky, you can get a free spot without a reservation. Parking space is absolutely in short supply here. With a lot of searching you can find something. Maybe plan a little more time to look for a parking space. It was a pleasure.

Sehr schönes Lokal. Guter Service. Essen gut, jedoch Gemüsebeilagen vorwiegend Paprika. Eher untypisch und viel zu einseitig. Sommerroggen hatten m.E. Zuviel Reis als Füllung. Essen war geschmacklich aber sehr gut. Parkplatz natürlich schwierig zu finden. Reservierung unbedingt erforderlich!

Wir waren jetzt zum 3. Mal hier, und sind, nachdem wir bei unserem 2. Besuch im Sommer nicht ganz zufrieden waren, wieder begeistert. Das Lokal war brechend voll und trotzdem waren wir mit allem äußerst zufrieden. Essen Service Getränke alles prima.......

Wir lieben es und essen sicher alle 2 Wochen hier. Der Service ist immer perfekt, freundlich und schnell. Auf das Essen freue ich mich immer schon auf der Fahrt hierher, immer lecker, authentisch, schön angerichtet und die Portionen sind reichlich. Das schöne Ambiente darf man auch nicht vergessen. Highlight ist auch der Mai Tai der süchtig macht 😄 Wir sind immer glücklich rausgegangen, vielen vielen Dank und weiter so 👏

Gutes Thailändisches Restaurant. Jedoch nicht ganz günstig.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und schön angerichtet, frisch zubereitet und aromatisch. Es gab eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, daher kann es dauern, bis man sich für eines entscheidet :)) Neben dem Essen haben mir zwei weitere Aspekte besonders gut gefallen: zum einen die extrem freundlichen Mitarbeitenden und der Service (z.B. wurde uns gleich nach unserer Ankunft ein Zitronengrastee aufs Haus serviert), zum anderen die Atmosphäre des Restaurants. Von außen wirkt es unscheinbar, aber beim Betreten fällt auf, dass alles liebevoll und mit einem klaren Konzept eingerichtet ist. Lilienblätter- und -blütenmotive finden sich an der Decke, in den Lampenschirmen, in der Form der Teller und sogar beim Besteck. Alles in allem ein sehr tolles Restaurant, gerne wieder!

Sehr guter und beliebter Thailänder. Das Ambiente ist außergewöhnlich ansprechend, der Service sehr freundlich, schnell und das Essen wirklich gut. Sehr gut, aber leider keine 10/10. Dafür sind die Preise dann insgesamt auch leider sehr sportlich. 90€ zu zweit für eine Vorspeise, zwei Hauptgänge und zwei Getränke. Werde trotzdem mal wiederkommen.

Ich wohne seit Jahren neben dem Restaurant, das Essen ist gut und lecker. Die Preisentwicklung entbehrt allerdings jeglicher Grundlage, eine verdoppelung ist zu beobachten. Schade, ich werde nicht mehr kommen.

Tasty food though can be pricey. However, it is to be expected given where you're at. Having had lots of Thai food and a lover of spice myself, I cannot say it's in the top range of Thai restaurants I've visited. However, if you're overseas and craving some Asian food/ Thai, this will do the trick. Just don't compare to Thai food you've had in Thailand if you've visited Thailand. Or if you live in Asia, just come with realistic expectations :) it will satisfy your cravings but it isn't going to blow your mind if that makes sense.

Hauptgerichte und Vorspeisen sind erstklassig. Eine tolle Einrichtung und ein freundlicher Servive runden das Geschmacksrrlebnis ab.

Hochpreisiges Thai Restaurant. Wir hatten reserviert und waren 30Minuten vor der vor Öffnung des Restaurants dort. Da wir von Außerhalb eine Stunde mit dem Auto anreisten, konnten wir die Zeit nicht genau einschätzen. Draußen war es kalt und regnerisch. Das Personal empfing uns äußerst unhöflich mit dem Verweis, dass sie noch nicht geöffnet hätten. Gnädigerweise durften wir an einem schmalen Tisch am Eingang Platz nehmen. Das Essen war sehr gut, allerdings konnte man für den Preis auch etwas erwarten. 3Radler eine Schorle 2Suppen mit Hauptgericht und schon waren 100Euro weg. Das Ambiente ist ausgesprochen schön.

Unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Restaurant und es lohnt sich wirklich. Suppen waren wirklich top und auch die Hauptspeisen mit Rindfleisch bzw Hühnerfleisch war wirklich sehr lecker. Gut gewürzt und leichte Schärfe. Die Portionen waren ideal um satt zu werden. Gerne jederzeit wieder

Nice Atmosphere, gut service! Foods are great presented, but it’s taste too sweet. We have ordered spicy fish, but not spicy at all. Very pricey when compare with others Thai restaurants. A bottle water (700ml) costs 7€ something.

Essen super, Service freundlich, Ambiente schön thailändisch. ABER Leider die Tische- wenn man zu zweit in Ruhe essen und reden möchte viel zu eng aneinander- 20 cm Lücke und jeder hört deine Unterhaltung mit. Schade😕
