Taschners Thai Table in München

It used to be better, but it has deteriorated significantly. Food tastes bad and there is a musty smell in the room.

We did not have a reservation, but we were able to find a table without waiting. The portions are quite large, and the food is tasty and well prepared. It is a bit pricey, but you are also paying for the nice ambiance and atmosphere. It may not be the best Thai food we have ever had, but it is still worth trying, especially if you are nearby.

We stayed in a hotel and looked for a restaurant on Sunday evening, which wasn't easy because so many places in the area were closed. Then we ended up at Rabiang Thai Restaurant, and it was a really good decision. I had Pad Thai Gung with crispy chicken instead of shrimp, and I was really happy with it. The chicken was nice and crispy, the noodles were well-seasoned, and everything went together perfectly. At the end, we even got complimentary pineapple and orange slices, a very nice touch. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasantly relaxed, just right for the evening. For a Sunday evening when almost nothing was open, it was a real stroke of luck. I would definitely go back.

The food is good, the cocktails are nothing special.
