Amazing thai Food!! The best thai in the city

Pad thai: good Fisch: not really authentic for asian

I just ate a chicken Pad Krapao and it was an absolute taste sensation. I can even say it's at least as good as, if not better than, in Thailand itself. The sauce, the meat, the rice, and the quantity of everything were excellent and plentiful! The staff was very friendly, and even though the restaurant was more than half full, everything was incredibly fast, and I was able to enjoy my meal in less than 10 minutes! Highly recommended!!

We visited a restaurant called Pad Thai and, true to its name, expected at least an authentic Pad Thai. However, what we were served was anything but authentic. Given the many positive reviews, I assume this restaurant's success is based on a cuisine adapted to German tastes. We started with a glass noodle salad, which, while it did have a hint of the flavor, was absolutely inedible—not because it was too spicy (which can certainly happen with a good glass noodle salad), but because the dressing was completely overpowered by sugar. Yuck. Then we ordered a Pad Thai. Our expectations weren't particularly high after the salad, but we were still full of anticipation and appetite. Unfortunately, it was the same story again: a light, roasted base flavor reminiscent of Pad Thai, but once again an overwhelming amount of sugar. Inedible for me. When I told the server this, we didn't receive a new Pad Thai. Instead, they placed a selection of seasonings, including Prik Nam Pla and soy sauce, on the table and suggested that might improve things. Speechless. Next time, we'll definitely be going back to an authentic restaurant.

⚠️ The green beans in the basil rice were undercooked, and I felt a bit unwell after eating it. The sauce was quite accurate; I specifically asked for mild spicy. However, we only found out after it arrived that the egg had to be ordered separately 😱. I was really annoyed. Finally, the chicken with rice was too monotonous. I've eaten at the Thai Land restaurant many times and assumed that an egg was a standard requirement for basil rice. When I mentioned this to the waiter, they just relayed it to the kitchen without offering any real assistance.

I tried Chicken Pad Thai. It was really good. One of the best in Munich. I would recommend to book a table before you go. The service was good. They spoke to us in German and English. They accept card payment. Toilet is available.

I came across Pad Thai through a Google Maps search. I really enjoyed my visit here. The service was very good and very attentive. The food was truly delicious, and the restaurant's atmosphere is very pleasant. My recommendation: 5 stars. I'll definitely come back here again.

Best Thai place in town! Spicy levels are amazing

Came here for lunch and had a green curry and an iced tea. Total was around 15€ which feels okay. The iced tea was too sweet for me and I wish there would be an option for less sugar but the curry was pretty nice. Good flavor and spicyness and I especially liked that they didn't just choose random veggies (like so many places in Germany) but used thai aubergines. Overall p good!

Very good food, authentically Thai and, above all, freshly prepared. Be careful! Three chilies on the menu are beyond the European concept of Scoville. The squid is still chewy, with a flavor that doesn't reveal the bland taste of thawed frozen food. Service was also very attentive.

I went there for lunch...there was balcony seating on the outside and the interior was nice and calm. There were about 8 different lunch menu items to choose from. The price was around €12, and drinks were also available at a great value during lunchtime, so I recommend it. I had the pad thai and it was delicious.

A delight like from afar. Here you can enjoy truly good, authentic Thai food. The service radiates the Land of Smiles. The food is lovingly presented and tastes simply delicious. There are few Thai restaurants in Germany that taste as good and authentic as this one.

Authentic Thai food, insanely delicious, tastes like Thailand. Service was also excellent, only the tables outside could have been set up a little more lovingly. Apart from that, everything was perfect; for me, the best Thai restaurant in Munich.

The portion size was good for Munich standards, but the taste wasn't up there with the 10. The duck in tamarind sauce was crispy but very fatty, and the sauce was too salty and too sour. Especially with tamarind, I expect a balanced flavor explosion. The beef wasn't tasty either; it was overcooked like a bad goulash. The iced tea, on the other hand, was very good, not too sweet! Service was attentive and friendly at the beginning. It remained friendly towards the end. It's a shame; we used to go there regularly with the previous owners, but today was unfortunately the last time.

The portions are big, the variety is plentiful and delicious. We were very pleased with the service!

I had the Pad Kratiem Prikthai with beef and a Thai iced tea with condensed milk. The food was very tasty and the iced tea was pleasantly sweet and refreshing. The order came quickly and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall a very pleasant visit.

Great recommendation if you are someone who likes spicy Asian/Thai food. Mango sticky rice is authentic and super good. The spring rolls are highly recommended. Followed by Pad Krapao with minced chicken that tasted very fresh and delicious. If you like seafood you will love Pad Kiemau. And the following applies to both dishes: three chili peppers on the spiciness scale are really hot. Highly recommended if someone likes spicy food. I would love to come back!

The food was delicious! I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. The chicken was okay, but the rest was really delicious! Next time I'll order the tofu! Service was friendly. Very nice restaurant! Definitely worth it for lunch! I paid €16 for the meal and a drink.

I have been a huge fan of Thai food since my first visit to Thailand in summer 1993. Pad Thai in Munich is , by far, the best thai meal i have had in my life. From the friendly and accommodating service, to the absolutely perfect food, the amazing mango sticky rice desert, all I do is wonder when I go back. Very very highly recommended!

A truly authentic Thai restaurant in the middle of Munich. Specially hot plates are set for the starters, which makes a great impression right from the start. The food plays with subtle aromas up to a taste bomb. The dessert sticky rice with mango and coconut is a perfect ending. The service is very attentive and numerous. See you again soon.

Unfortunately not really good anymore. Food is very average, the dining room is cold, the atmosphere is uncomfortable and the service is so-so. They seem to be concentrating more on ordering food now.

Ordered food for home because other restaurants were open on New Year's Day. Fried Rice with Chicken and Pad Thai... Taste: Insignificant to neutral in taste. Price/performance is not right at all.

Delicious authentic Thai food. Service was quick with a smile. Massaman curry: awesome. So we're the Pad Thai. Reserve in advance it's crowded. The only downside is to be able to find a parking spot in the streets around the restaurant. Other than that, we had a blast!!

I just had soup and duck delivered. The soup was good but mini. The duck was really disgusting and fatty, almost disgusting. I won't be ordering here anymore.

I used to order pad thai here all the time. But unfortunately I think they have recently changed chef, the taste has dropped significantly (I ordered 2-3 times already giving it enough try). The shrimp was not so fresh. really a pity!

Very tasty and generous portions! The pad krapao is super delicious and goes well with rice. The tom yum soup is also delicious. The second time we came here, we ordered lemon fish. We waited for an hour before it came. The fish had many scales and very little meat.

I've been there twice so far, it's really highly recommended, the ladies were very nice and accommodating. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The only suggestion for improvement would be to use a little more vegetables, otherwise everything was great.

I dined here a few months ago and ended up getting a salad and enough appetizers for a full meal. The appetizers were very disappointing. No flavor and some seemed like they came from the freezer. I ordered takeout tonight to give them another chance since I live very close. I got the Gaeng Pet with prawns. There were barely any vegetables. One half slice of Thai eggplant, a few pepper slices, and some bamboo shoots. The curry flavor was very good, but there needs to be more vegetables. Overall, I have found much better Thai food in Munich for the price.

We went there for lunch.bthe lady whi served us was really nit friendly. Not even a smile.... The curtains were 2/3 closed. Which was really not needed as it was a cloudy day and they don't have much light inside so my with my friend all we wanted was to get out of there. We felt like trapped in darkness. Probably in the evening it is nice to have the curtains partly closed, feels more cosy but not during the day. Food was really good but I had never left a restaurant so quick to get back to the light. Please make an effort, during the day keep your curtains 2/3 open not closed....

We were there for the second time - most recently in 2022. Unfortunately, the duck was super fatty with thick fatty rinds. The crust was super flabby and not crispy. Unfortunately, no one cared whether we liked it or whether we wanted another drink or dessert. The service has deteriorated significantly. But the worst thing was that I got diarrhea at home afterwards. We won't come anymore.

One of the best Thai restaurants we have been to in Europe. Amazingly tasty food, great presentation and friendly staff. We had a fantastic dinner experience. The portions are large.

I ordered a dish with tuna steak. The quantity and taste were good, and the food was hot enough despite delivery. Unfortunately the tuna steak was far too dry, which shouldn't happen with a meal costing over €20. A pity. I've been eating there more often now and I have to say that the food is really good. The lunch menu in particular offers good food at a reasonable price. The service is also good.

Authentic food with good value for money + very nice service! Of course the prices have become more expensive here too, but you get very tasty food at an absolutely fair price. The massaman curry and the pad cha tasted great and reminded me of Thailand. Finally there was mango sticky rice with a beautifully refined coconut milk. All in all, we really recommend it, we'll be back.

Really very authentic cuisine. Curry is very tasty but a bit spicy. For me one of the best Thai restaurants in Munich.

We ordered here through Wolt and it was really poor quality: Green curry with beef had practically no vegetables even though you had to pay an extra EUR 8 for the beef. This gives you 15 for sauce and rice! Eur paid. The flesh was as tough as a shoe sole and sporadically cartilaged. The Pad Thai was totally dry, only sweet in taste, no nuts and noodles were very thin - really cheeky for over 40 EUR!

Ausser dass Laarb Pet und der Wein, war alles hervorragend. Dass Laarb Pet war leider kalt, also nicht frisch gebraten wie es sich gehört, ich koche selbst Thai Food. Der Chardonnay war leider nicht gut. Aber ansonsten die Vorspeisen ect. alles seeehr gut und ein sehr freundlicher Service, weiter so!!!
