Pad Thai Restaurant in München

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Munich, everything is simply so delicious! Ambience is cozy, service is nice and prices are low for Munich. Definetely recommended

Delicious authentic Thai food. Service was quick with a smile. Massaman curry: awesome. So we're the Pad Thai. Reserve in advance it's crowded. The only downside is to be able to find a parking spot in the streets around the restaurant. Other than that, we had a blast!!

Best one I have ever tried in munich

I just had soup and duck delivered. The soup was good but mini. The duck was really disgusting and fatty, almost disgusting. I won't be ordering here anymore.

I used to order pad thai here all the time. But unfortunately I think they have recently changed chef, the taste has dropped significantly (I ordered 2-3 times already giving it enough try). The shrimp was not so fresh. really a pity!

Very tasty and generous portions! The pad krapao is super delicious and goes well with rice. The tom yum soup is also delicious. The second time we came here, we ordered lemon fish. We waited for an hour before it came. The fish had many scales and very little meat.

Das Essen war wie immer ausgezeichnet und der Service zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Der Mai Tai Cocktail war gut gemixt. Kommen sehr gerne wieder.

I've been there twice so far, it's really highly recommended, the ladies were very nice and accommodating. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The only suggestion for improvement would be to use a little more vegetables, otherwise everything was great.

The food is just below average. Therefore prices are way to high. Taste is just acceptable, but not near the original Thaifood.

Das Essen war super lecker. Geschmacklich nicht mit dem Einheitsbrei der Standardasiaten zu vergleichen. Vielleicht hätte die Pause zwischen den Gängen etwas länger sein können. Die Bedienung war angenehm natürlich. Der Preis war vollkommen angemessen. Komme gerne wieder, wenn ich nochmal in München bin.

The food and service are top. The tables are too close together so that you can clearly hear everything from the neighboring table.

This is close to being perfect! I spend a semester in Thailand and this is the most authentic Thai food I had since then. I can highly recommend it.

We came to this place after I read the reviews. Many of them said “the best pad thai in munich” but the food was not so good. It was average.

Great recommendation if you are someone who likes spicy Asian/Thai food. The spring rolls are highly recommended. Followed by Pad Krapao with minced chicken that tasted very fresh and delicious. If you like seafood you will love Pad Kiemau. And the following applies to both dishes: three chili peppers on the spiciness scale are really hot. Highly recommended if someone likes spicy food. I would love to come back!

I dined here a few months ago and ended up getting a salad and enough appetizers for a full meal. The appetizers were very disappointing. No flavor and some seemed like they came from the freezer. I ordered takeout tonight to give them another chance since I live very close. I got the Gaeng Pet with prawns. There were barely any vegetables. One half slice of Thai eggplant, a few pepper slices, and some bamboo shoots. The curry flavor was very good, but there needs to be more vegetables. Overall, I have found much better Thai food in Munich for the price.

We went there for lunch.bthe lady whi served us was really nit friendly. Not even a smile.... The curtains were 2/3 closed. Which was really not needed as it was a cloudy day and they don't have much light inside so my with my friend all we wanted was to get out of there. We felt like trapped in darkness. Probably in the evening it is nice to have the curtains partly closed, feels more cosy but not during the day. Food was really good but I had never left a restaurant so quick to get back to the light. Please make an effort, during the day keep your curtains 2/3 open not closed....

We were there for the second time - most recently in 2022. Unfortunately, the duck was super fatty with thick fatty rinds. The crust was super flabby and not crispy. Unfortunately, no one cared whether we liked it or whether we wanted another drink or dessert. The service has deteriorated significantly. But the worst thing was that I got diarrhea at home afterwards. We won't come anymore.

One of the best Thai restaurants we have been to in Europe. Amazingly tasty food, great presentation and friendly staff. We had a fantastic dinner experience. The portions are large.

I ordered a dish with tuna steak. The quantity and taste were good, and the food was hot enough despite delivery. Unfortunately the tuna steak was far too dry, which shouldn't happen with a meal costing over €20. A pity. I've been eating there more often now and I have to say that the food is really good. The lunch menu in particular offers good food at a reasonable price. The service is also good.

Authentic food with good value for money + very nice service! Of course the prices have become more expensive here too, but you get very tasty food at an absolutely fair price. The massaman curry and the pad cha tasted great and reminded me of Thailand. Finally there was mango sticky rice with a beautifully refined coconut milk. All in all, we really recommend it, we'll be back.

Really very authentic cuisine. Curry is very tasty but a bit spicy. For me one of the best Thai restaurants in Munich.

We ordered here through Wolt and it was really poor quality: Green curry with beef had practically no vegetables even though you had to pay an extra EUR 8 for the beef. This gives you 15 for sauce and rice! Eur paid. The flesh was as tough as a shoe sole and sporadically cartilaged. The Pad Thai was totally dry, only sweet in taste, no nuts and noodles were very thin - really cheeky for over 40 EUR!

Ausser dass Laarb Pet und der Wein, war alles hervorragend. Dass Laarb Pet war leider kalt, also nicht frisch gebraten wie es sich gehört, ich koche selbst Thai Food. Der Chardonnay war leider nicht gut. Aber ansonsten die Vorspeisen ect. alles seeehr gut und ein sehr freundlicher Service, weiter so!!!

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 3 Personen gleich zur Öffnung des Restaurants um 17:30 Uhr reserviert. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren erst wenige Tische besetzt, so dass wir einen sehr schönen Abend in ruhiger Umgebung genießen konnten. Sehr aufmerksamer Service. Die Gerichte wurden optisch ansprechend präsentiert. Die Speisekarte bietet auch etwas ausgefallenere Gerichte an wie bspw. Catfish. Insgesamt alles bestens; immer wieder.

We had booked a table at 7pm and still no food at 9pm. Asking several times didn't give us an explanation. During this time, delivery services were provided with plenty of food. We then left without eating and without there being an excuse for this incomprehensible behavior. I can definitely not recommend this restaurant and I won't set foot in it myself.

A restaurant that disappointed all expectations: After waiting around 2 1/2 hours for the food and several questions, we paid for our drinks and left the inhospitable place. At the end it was revealed to us that delivery services would be given priority. Restaurant guests just have to wait. - What a shame for the torn evening!

Am letzten Tag im Jahr 2023 waren wir hier essen und sehr zufrieden mit dem Service und dem Ambiente, das Essen war am sich an gut, aber sehr viel schärfer als beschrieben, leider wurde der Geschmack der frischen Zutaten somit vollkommen überdeckt.

It was awfull service. The waitress was stressed and dont understand a word of english. We ordered thing that wasnt for our expectation. We were verry sad of the service.

Wir sind durch einen Zufall hier gelandet und hatten Glück, dass etwas frei war. Schon am Telefon war die Dame unfassbar freundlich. Das Essen war absolut perfekt. Die Currys mit ausreichend Soße und das Pad Thai - in ein Nest aus dünnem Ei eingebettet - war einfach nur sagenhaft gut. Auch die hausgemachten Frühlingsrollen schmeckten super. Vielen Dank, wir werden nun öfter kommen.

Sehr lecker, sehr freundlich, teils sogar richtig authentisch - wobei es gerne noch etwas schärfer hätte sein dürfen (aber auch sensiblere Gaumen finden somit hier ihr Glück). Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Team ist super freundlich und die Speisen kommen flink an den Tisch. Tipp: Die Tom Yam Gung ist fantastisch, der frittierte Tofu auch interessant. Der Papaya Salat war total unscharf, evtl. hier besser schon beim Bestellen den gewünschten Schärfegrad mitangeben.

War heute seit langem wieder dort essen. Personal und Ambiente sehr freundlich und schön. Tom K Suppe war angenehm. Ente war knusprig und das Gemüse sehr frisch. Leider gibt es dennoch Abzüge. Hatte das Gefühl als hätten die Gewürze nicht den Weg in die Hauptspeise gefunden. Leider muss ich hier sagen, dass trotz knuspriger Ente und Top frischem Gemüse ich es zu Hause besser hinbekommen hätte. Auch ohne Glutamat kann man sich in punkto Gewürze viel mehr trauen. Sorry aber da war das Team in der Küche schon besser.

Unser absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant für Essen Zuhause. Ein Highlight ist die unkomplizierte Bestellmöglichkeit per WhatsApp.

Thailändisch in München gibt es viele und jeder hat seine Handschrift aber zu diesem Restaurant muss man einfach gehen. Modernes Restaurant was zum verweilen einlädt und dazu das fantastische Essen. Bitte weiter so machen.

Sehr leckerer und authentischer Thai. Service ein wenig langsam. Preislich gehoben, vor allem die Getränke: Sodawasser ein Glas 0,3l für 3,80 Euro finde ich zu viel. Daher Abzug bei der Bewertung.

Die Hummerkrabben, Kee Mao und Pla Goong waren sehr lecker, für den Preis auch noch super im Rahmen (Kee Mao 17€, Pla Goong 20,90€). Service hat leider etwas länger gedauert, es war aber auch dementsprechend voll. Gerne wieder.

Nichts zu sagen, nur sehr gut in allen Bereichen. Bitte, weiter so!

Reservierung lief gut und die Gastfreundschaft ist auch nicht eines schlechten hauses. Schönes Ambiente und wirklich sehr gutes Essen kommt der original thailändischen küche wirklich sehr nah.

This was the WORST experience we have ever had Very Bad Service, HOPELESS food extremely SPICY i am great foodie but this restaurant offered the worst of all. Such restaurants should not be allowed to operate !!! i will never ever VISIT this place

Das Essen war gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Den Service, ausgenommen einer einzelnen Person, kann man leider nur als unfreundlich bewerten. Man wird, kaum das man die Karte erhalten hat, schon mit "Fertig" ungehalten zum Bestellen genötigt. Die Kellnerin, die für das Kassieren zuständig war, toppte mit ihrer pampigen Art den negativen Eindruck zusätzlich. Wir haben uns als Gast nicht willkommen gefühlt und werden nicht wieder kommen.

Das Lokal ist schon typisch im Thailändischen Stil… passt aber ..👍 Der Empfang war sehr nett. Die Karte gibt für jeden Thai Fan etwas her…👍 Wir hatten als Vorspeise den Som Tam und den Rindfleisch Salat.. beides war sehr Thai authentisch und super lecker ! Im Hauptgang hatten wir grünes Curry und gehacktes Rindfleisch. Das grüne Curry war Mega…👍 Es war ein toller Abend im Pad Thai ! Wir kommen definitiv wieder wenn wir wieder in München sind…👍

Wie waren am Freitag im Pad Thai essen und ich muss sagen: ich habe mich wie im Urlaub gefühlt. Das Essen war grandios gut. Ich liebe den Som Tam Tai und der war perfekt 👍🏻 Die Hauptspeisen waren top … es gibt absolut nichts auszusetzen. Das Ambiente war klasse, der Service top. Ich kann das Restaurant nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wenn wir wieder in München unterwegs sind kommen wir wieder ! Macht weiter so 👍🏻

Went in there during lunch time and ordered the lunch menu. The food was really great at an affordable price! The food was prepared really well, Pad Thai had the breath of the wok in it and was plated well. 10/10 would recommend

(Diese Rezension bezieht sich auf das Restaurant "BeThai Style" - wie der Nachfolger "Pad Thai Restaurant" ist, kann ich bisher nicht sagen): Das beste Thai-Essen was wir außerhalb Thailands gegessen haben. Und das Personal ist dazu noch super freundlich und sympathisch... Wir planen schon unseren nächsten Besuch...
