Pad Thai Restaurant in München

Mein Freund meinte, es sei das beste Pad Thai aller Zeiten!!! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein hervorragendes thailändisches Restaurant! Wie meine Freundin es ausdrückte: „sehr authentisch“. Wir waren beide schon einmal in Thailand und sind der Meinung, dass dieses Lokal zu den besten südostasiatischen Restaurants in München gehört. Die Auswahl an Vorspeisen ist groß, und alles, was wir bestellt haben, war ausgezeichnet. Die Kokosmilch-Hühnersuppe war definitiv ein Highlight – sehr aromatisch und geschmackvoll. Auch die “Sommerrollen” waren sehr gut(als Chinese habe ich früher nur Frühlingsrollen gehört); wir hatten schon die Hälfte gegessen, bevor wir daran dachten, ein Foto zu machen. Als Hauptgerichte bestellten wir das namensgebende Pad Thai – eher süßlich im Geschmack, aber sehr lecker. Das rote Rindercurry fiel im Vergleich etwas ab; vielleicht wäre es mit Hähnchen besser gewesen. Wir dachten einfach, bei einem höheren Preis könne man nichts falsch machen:) Alles in allem absolut empfehlenswert! Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und herzlich, und auch die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Ich habe schon Dutzende Sorten Milchtee probiert, aber der hier gibt mir immer noch einen guten Grund, wiederzukommen.

Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres Essen, angenehme Atmosphäre drinnen und draußen. Was will man mehr. 👍😋

Sehr authentisches, frisches und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen, gepaart mit freundlichem Service. Auch die Preise sind sehr fair. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall öfter hierher.

Eines der schlechtesten Thai-Essen, die ich je gegessen habe. Das Restaurant an sich ist in Ordnung und die Bedienung war freundlich. Das Essen war jedoch alles andere als lecker. Die Vorspeise mit Frühlingsrollen war geschmacklos. Die dazugehörige Soße schmeckte wie zuckersüßer Sirup. Das Hauptgericht mit Pad Thai und Ente war viel zu süß. Die Soße war nicht lecker und die Ente selbst auch nicht. Die gebratenen Nudeln mit Garnelen für die Kinder waren ebenfalls viel zu süß (eine Portion kostete 15 €)! Die Nudeln waren verkocht, total weich und geschmacklos. Die Kinder haben das Essen stehen lassen, da es viel zu süß und geschmacklos war und die weichen Nudeln wie eine schlechte Suppe schmeckten. Es ist sehr schade, so eine Erfahrung machen zu müssen, da wir mit hohen Erwartungen dorthin gegangen sind. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Das Essen ist nicht besonders gut. Die Portionen sind okay, aber für den Preis könnte es besser sein. Sie füllen Wasserflaschen mit Leitungswasser ab und verkaufen es. Der Service ist auch nicht gut. Ich werde nicht wiederkommen.

Spontan gesucht und gefunden. Das Essen war von Sate bis Pad Gai sehr lecker. Der Service war teilweise etwas langsam, aber dafür sehr nett.

Ich habe hier über Lieferando bestellt, es hat über 1 Stunde gedauert und es ist nichts passiert. Nachdem ich das Lokal darüber informiert habe, wurde mir gesagt, das Interessiere sie nicht ich muss es mit Lieferando erklären. Mein Geld ist weg, Lieferando interessiert es nicht. VORSICHT!!!! Ich kann VOR diesen Restaurant nur warnen.

Das Pad Thai ist jetzt in Schwabing. Neu und moderner eingerichtet und auch grösser als am Haidenauplatz. Das Essen und der Service sind nach wie vor sehr gut.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr gut. Das Lokal war ziemlich voll und es war sehr laut wegen einer thailändischen Geburtstagsfeier.

Ich habe Chicken Pad Thai probiert. Es war wirklich sehr lecker. Eines der besten in München. Ich empfehle, vorher einen Tisch zu reservieren. Der Service war gut. Wir wurden auf Deutsch und Englisch bedient. Kartenzahlung ist möglich. Eine Toilette ist vorhanden.

Gestern haben wir das erste mal diese Restaurant mit meine Tochter ausprobiert. Wir waren von Essen und freundliche Bedienung begeistert. Unser Gerichte waren super lecker, insbesondere das mango sticky Reis, so ein leckeres mango habe ich noch nie gegessen. Wir wollen unbedingt zurück um mehrere Gerichte zu probieren. Also 5 Sterne von mir.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier: wirklich sehr gutes Pad Thai bzw. bestes bisher in MUC (lt. meiner Begleitung) - Chicken süß-sauer, Suppen und Frühlingsrollen waren auch sehr gut; freundlicher schneller Service; Reservierung empfehlenswert;

Es war wirklich sehr lecker! Der Service war sehr freundlich, und das Essen ging schnell. Besonders das Pad Thai ist aufgefallen, weil es sehr schön serviert wurde. Generell wurden die Sachen sehr liebevoll angerichtet. Und vom Geschmack her wirklich sehr lecker und sehr authentisch. (zum Glück nicht zu scharf.)  Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Es war sehr kühl und laut im Restaurant. Die Preise - höhere Kategorie. Die Vorspeise für 9,90 Euro war ganz lecker, aber sehr übersichtlich. Hier wurde mit dicken Gurkenscheiben für die Fülle etwas nachgeholfen. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten jeder eine Hauptspeise für jeweils durchschnittlich 22 Euro. Keiner fand es leider besonders gut. Eines der Gerichte (meines) wurde extra milder bestellt als auf der Karte - dies wurde mir auch bestätig - es hat mir aber trotzdem den Gaumen ordentlich weggebrannt, dass ich Schweißausbrüche bekommen habe. Eigentlich vertrage ich schon scharfe Gerichte. Aber das war fast ungenießbar. Die süße Sauce meiner Begleitung hatte eine unappetitliche Essignote, er konnte nur das Fleisch essen. Wir haben die Sauce alle probiert und fanden sie sehr sonderbar. Die Ente der anderen Person war ok, aber nicht mehr. Reis gab es reichlich dazu, das hat es aber auch nicht mehr rausgerissen. Mein Fazit, nettes Personal, aber die Gerichte sind völlig überteuert und nichts besonderes. Und ja, ich habe gesagt, dass es mir zu scharf war, aber das wurde einfach weggelächelt bzw. ignoriert. Dort muss ich nicht nochmal hin.

Per Lieferung bestellt. Das Curry war schlecht verpackt, so dass die Soße auslief und die Tüte eingerissen war. Die Frühlingsrollen waren wohl selbstgemacht, aber die Soße schmeckte sehr säuerlich, war total flüssig und sehr wenig. Das Curry war mir zu scharf und ich hätte gern mehr Gemüse gehabt. Tofu war reichlich dabei. Für mich besteht keine Wiederholungsgefahr.

Das Pad Thai war köstlich, wahrscheinlich das beste in München. Da es hier nicht viele authentische Thai-Restaurants gibt, wird das von nun an mein Lieblingsrestaurant sein.

Waren heute mal wieder dort. Auswahl, Essen, Service toll. Portion war so groß, dass ich ca die Hälfte im Gefäß für morgen mitgenommen habe. Für die Verhältnisse in Schwabing auch ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Wirklich das beste Pad Thai! Super! Wirklich ein Gedicht.

Alles Super. Mir fehlt etwas mehr Platz am Tisch aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau.

War heute mit zwei Leuten zum Abendessen da. Schönes Ambiente, schneller und guter Service. Essen war top, ich hatte Pad Thai mit Garnelen. Große Portion und sehr lecker. Preis Leistung absolut Top! Gerne wieder!

Pad Thai: Gut. Fisch: Nicht wirklich authentisch asiatisch.

Soeben gerade ein Pad Krapao mit Huhn gegessen und es war absolutes Geschmackserlebnis. Ich kann sogar behaupten das es mindestens gleich wenn nicht sogar besser ist als in Thailand selbst. Die Soße, das Fleisch, der Reis und auch die Menge von allem exzellent und ausreichend!! Personal sehr freundlich und vorallem obwohl das Restaurant mehr als die Hälfte voll ist ging alles super schnell und ich konnte innerhalb von nicht mal 10min mein Essen genießen! Absolute Empfehlung!!

Wir besuchten ein Restaurant mit dem Namen Pad Thai und erwarteten – dem Namen entsprechend – zumindest ein authentisches Pad Thai. Was uns serviert wurde, war jedoch keinesfalls authentisch. Bei den vielen positiven Bewertungen gehe ich davon aus, dass der Erfolg dieses Restaurants auf einer an den deutschen Geschmack angepassten Küche beruht. Wir begannen mit einem Glasnudelsalat, der zwar im Ansatz danach schmeckte, aber absolut nicht genießbar war – nicht etwa, weil er zu scharf gewesen wäre (was bei einem guten Glasnudelsalat durchaus vorkommen darf), sondern weil das Dressing komplett vom Zucker dominiert wurde. Igitt. Dann bestellten wir ein Pad Thai. Unsere Erwartungen waren nach dem Salat zwar nicht mehr besonders hoch, aber dennoch waren wir voller Vorfreude und Appetit. Leider wieder das gleiche Bild: ein leichter, gerösteter Grundgeschmack, der an Pad Thai erinnerte, aber erneut eine überwältigende Menge Zucker. Für mich ungenießbar. Als ich dies dem Service mitteilte, erhielten wir kein neues Pad Thai. Stattdessen stellte man uns ein Würzsortiment mit Prik Nam Pla und Sojasauce auf den Tisch und meinte, vielleicht würde es damit besser. Ohne Worte. Wir jedenfalls werden beim nächsten Mal wieder ein authentisches Restaurant aufsuchen.

⚠️ The green beans in the basil rice were undercooked, and I felt a bit unwell after eating it. The sauce was quite accurate; I specifically asked for mild spicy. However, we only found out after it arrived that the egg had to be ordered separately 😱. I was really annoyed. Finally, the chicken with rice was too monotonous. I've eaten at the Thai Land restaurant many times and assumed that an egg was a standard requirement for basil rice. When I mentioned this to the waiter, they just relayed it to the kitchen without offering any real assistance.

I came across Pad Thai through a Google Maps search. I really enjoyed my visit here. The service was very good and very attentive. The food was truly delicious, and the restaurant's atmosphere is very pleasant. My recommendation: 5 stars. I'll definitely come back here again.

Came here for lunch and had a green curry and an iced tea. Total was around 15€ which feels okay. The iced tea was too sweet for me and I wish there would be an option for less sugar but the curry was pretty nice. Good flavor and spicyness and I especially liked that they didn't just choose random veggies (like so many places in Germany) but used thai aubergines. Overall p good!

Nettes kleines Eckrestaurant etwas abseits der Schwabinger Hauptrouten. Das Personal war freundlich, das Ambiente angenehm, das Laab durchaus lecker und gut gewürzt, allerdings konnte uns gerade das "signature dish" Pad Thai nicht überzeugen, da es ihm an Würze und Aroma fehlte. Schade, aber vielleicht ja nur ein Ausreißer.

Very good food, authentically Thai and, above all, freshly prepared. Be careful! Three chilies on the menu are beyond the European concept of Scoville. The squid is still chewy, with a flavor that doesn't reveal the bland taste of thawed frozen food. Service was also very attentive.

I went there for lunch...there was balcony seating on the outside and the interior was nice and calm. There were about 8 different lunch menu items to choose from. The price was around €12, and drinks were also available at a great value during lunchtime, so I recommend it. I had the pad thai and it was delicious.

A delight like from afar. Here you can enjoy truly good, authentic Thai food. The service radiates the Land of Smiles. The food is lovingly presented and tastes simply delicious. There are few Thai restaurants in Germany that taste as good and authentic as this one.

Authentic Thai food, insanely delicious, tastes like Thailand. Service was also excellent, only the tables outside could have been set up a little more lovingly. Apart from that, everything was perfect; for me, the best Thai restaurant in Munich.

The portion size was good for Munich standards, but the taste wasn't up there with the 10. The duck in tamarind sauce was crispy but very fatty, and the sauce was too salty and too sour. Especially with tamarind, I expect a balanced flavor explosion. The beef wasn't tasty either; it was overcooked like a bad goulash. The iced tea, on the other hand, was very good, not too sweet! Service was attentive and friendly at the beginning. It remained friendly towards the end. It's a shame; we used to go there regularly with the previous owners, but today was unfortunately the last time.

The portions are big, the variety is plentiful and delicious. We were very pleased with the service!

I had the Pad Kratiem Prikthai with beef and a Thai iced tea with condensed milk. The food was very tasty and the iced tea was pleasantly sweet and refreshing. The order came quickly and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. Overall a very pleasant visit.

Great recommendation if you are someone who likes spicy Asian/Thai food. Mango sticky rice is authentic and super good. The spring rolls are highly recommended. Followed by Pad Krapao with minced chicken that tasted very fresh and delicious. If you like seafood you will love Pad Kiemau. And the following applies to both dishes: three chili peppers on the spiciness scale are really hot. Highly recommended if someone likes spicy food. I would love to come back!

The food was delicious! I ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. The chicken was okay, but the rest was really delicious! Next time I'll order the tofu! Service was friendly. Very nice restaurant! Definitely worth it for lunch! I paid €16 for the meal and a drink.

I have been a huge fan of Thai food since my first visit to Thailand in summer 1993. Pad Thai in Munich is , by far, the best thai meal i have had in my life. From the friendly and accommodating service, to the absolutely perfect food, the amazing mango sticky rice desert, all I do is wonder when I go back. Very very highly recommended!

A truly authentic Thai restaurant in the middle of Munich. Specially hot plates are set for the starters, which makes a great impression right from the start. The food plays with subtle aromas up to a taste bomb. The dessert sticky rice with mango and coconut is a perfect ending. The service is very attentive and numerous. See you again soon.

Fried rice is a masterpiece! ! ! There must be a Chinese cook behind him. The Thai food is perfect. The fried rice makes a diner who likes Yangzhou fried rice ecstatic. He must order fried rice every time.

Very friendly service, good looking and very tasty food, great ambiance

Unfortunately not really good anymore. Food is very average, the dining room is cold, the atmosphere is uncomfortable and the service is so-so. They seem to be concentrating more on ordering food now.

Ordered food for home because other restaurants were open on New Year's Day. Fried Rice with Chicken and Pad Thai... Taste: Insignificant to neutral in taste. Price/performance is not right at all.

Delicious authentic Thai food. Service was quick with a smile. Massaman curry: awesome. So we're the Pad Thai. Reserve in advance it's crowded. The only downside is to be able to find a parking spot in the streets around the restaurant. Other than that, we had a blast!!

I used to order pad thai here all the time. But unfortunately I think they have recently changed chef, the taste has dropped significantly (I ordered 2-3 times already giving it enough try). The shrimp was not so fresh. really a pity!
