Original Thai snack bar with super delicious Thai food. I was here at lunchtime and only waited a few minutes for a vegetarian soup and pad pag ruam = fried vegetables with rice. Perfect for a short lunch break. The atmosphere is spartan, just a snack bar. The food is very plentiful.

This is probably the best authentic Thai food you can get in all of Germany - coming from a person that has lived in Bangkok and has tried dozens of Thai places around Germany. It’s incredible what the ladies in the kitchen conjure up. The krapao is truly amazing and it makes you feel like you’re sitting at a street stall in Bangkok. The prices are absolutely fair! It’s a must visit for everyone that loves Thai food and a truly an enrichment to Munich’s food scene. Any bad reviews must be from people that are expecting boring toned down germanized Thai food, I have no explanation otherwise. Thank you!!

The Thai takeaway offers a promising selection of dishes, but my last visit was disappointing. Unfortunately, the food was overly salted, which significantly affected the taste of the food and made the meal overall unpleasant. The duck in particular was dry and seemed rather unappetizing, so I would have liked it to have been prepared more succulently. Although the staff was friendly and tried to help guests, that couldn't make up for the deficiencies in the kitchen. Service quality alone is not enough to compensate for the negative experience. Overall, I unfortunately cannot recommend this Thai snack, as the inadequate preparation of the food and the excessive salt greatly affect the enjoyment. A significant improvement in the kitchen would be necessary here to provide a satisfactory experience.

The best Pad Thai in Munich. The prices are also very reasonable!

We popped in for a quick dinner, craving some salty Asian food. The green curry was alright—slightly watery and served on the same plate as the rice, which isn’t typical in Thailand, but it was still flavorful. Unfortunately, the bamboo shoots had an odd ammonia-like taste. The highlight was definitely the basil pork—it was so good that I regretted not ordering two portions! The staff were friendly, which added a nice touch to the meal.

Super delicious, I had to eat it first before I could take photos. It is so sooooo delicious and is so close to Thai cuisine (like in Thailand). Highly recommended. I love it.

Wir waren mit 4 Pers. zum Abendessen da und in Summe sehr zufrieden. Der Service ist äußerst nett, allerdings könnte man aufmerksamer sein bzgl. weiterer Getränke-Bestellungen. Man kann in die Küche schauen, das wirkt alles, incl. des Personals, sehr authentisch. Das Essen - diverse Vor- und Hauptspeisen - war sehr gut und die Portionen recht groß. Also Preis-Leistung absolut in Ordnung, Wir werden da wieder hingehen, ein sehr gutes Thai-Lokal.

The food was delicious, but I have to say that the women treated me very strangely. I'm half Thai (and German) myself, and I also ordered in Thai. The other customers (coincidentally also Thai) were treated with real hospitality, while I was simply given the cold shoulder. No idea why. I was really sad about it. But Pad Krapao was delicious (I was just missing a bit of garlic). Edit: 2nd chance given, the ladies who work there just aren't nice. No warmth or hospitality. Pad Krapao was way too spicy - we weren't asked what spiciness we wanted. Wasn't edible. We also sat next to the kitchen... Edit 2: Ok, we went again, this time with my brother, as there was little choice of open restaurants on December 23rd. The women are probably just misogynists 😂 The woman at the checkout kept asking my brother if he had been there before (he hadn't), and actually struck up a conversation, finding out that I was the person who had been several times was there (yes, we look alike).

Insanely delicious and authentic Thai food! As the name suggests, you are sitting in a snack bar and not in a restaurant. The owner serves and is super friendly and helpful. The women who cook were also very nice! The food itself was freshly prepared and tasted excellent. Definitely worth a visit!

Before taking the train from Munich to Berlin, I came here for a Thai lunch.The food at this Thai restaurant was not bad, but I was disappointed with the service. The service felt a bit casual and inattentive. I am not someone who demands to be enthusiastic, but I decided to write this review because I thought that I was treated differently. Is it because I'm not an Asian who speaks Thai or German? So the staff didn’t acknowledge me when I left goodbye, making me feel less welcome. I hope the restaurant can improve service for a better experience next time.

Come here to have food that will remind me of home (Laos) I had a soup which is pork intestine soup and it was tasty, however the sticky rice is uncooked, otherwise would have been perfect.

Tiny kitchen, but they have variety of food authentic Thai style. The seating area is small not many seating. The restaurant is very clean and the food is delicious.

Sitting in the passageway is nice and cool in summer. But you shouldn't be bothered by the fact that a lot of things are improvised (furniture, storage, etc.).

Pad Thai with chicken tastes absolutely terrible. It was too sour (sour as if spoiled) and I would like to forget the aftertaste. For this price I often ate a very tasty Pad Thai in Munich. The staff said it should taste like this. How? Like spoiled tomatoes...? That is not how it works. A pure disappointment. Never again

This small snack bar is located directly on Dachauer Str. Wide selection of Thai dishes: vegetarian, seafood, poultry and pork. My Pad Thai tasted absolutely amazing. Preparation only took a few minutes, absolute recommendation if you have to go quickly 🤗

You look at the menu next to the entrance and choose a dish for €8.50. You order and want to pay - it now costs €9.50. The reason: "We haven't been able to print a new map yet." Of course, that's not bold at all...

If you like the hospitality, please don't come here.. you will be more appreciated in other Asian restaurant in Munich. The server (older lady) is not welcome and no friendly manners (don't expect she will smile to the customer), the way she treat you is bad (eventhough she is the owner of the restaurant still is not accepted as well). She is not polite, eventhough she is an Asian too. I don't know why, shame on her.. she wiped the dishes that had been washed with not in proper way (a bit thrown around, making the sound of plates clashing).

I ate well, but also better or worse... What really bothers me is that they don't take cards and I don't support restaurants that don't offer this service these days

Disappointing. Terrible. What are those 5 women doing there on the stools? Everyone talks at once and hopes that the disturbing “guest” disappears quickly. It's unclear who works there and who kills their boredom there. Dingy, worn furniture. A small “special request” (leaving something out) received an angry, loud, stroppy response. Phew. Hospitality is different. Eating it was impossible. Inedible.

After a week of German food we were ready to switch it up a bit. Came across this Thai place and so glad we tried it. The tiny place is ram by three Thai ladies who were fast and efficient. The food are cooked right beside you to order. We had chicken pad thai and a duck rice dish. Both were very good, especially the pad Thai. The price was such a great deal in downtown Munich for a sit down restaurant with washroom. Would totally recommend this place!!

The thai food here is very authentic. I had ordered green thai curry, which was absolutely hot and fresh. The thickness of the curry could be increased. The taste is not akin to the usual thai restaurants one may have eaten from. This is the most authentic and budget friendly option in Munich in my opinion. Got some crackers on the side for free. The soup that I ordered was a little too watery and sour for me. The portion sizes are slightly small, but for the price they are offered at, I think it is justified. The shop is pretty small, so better go when there is less crowd or take a takeaway from here. The women in the restaurant are really hard working and hospitable. Overall, a really good place for students.

Food very authentic like in Thailand

Food is good, but the space is very narrow.

Had a late lunch at this place. It is small and limited in seats. Managed to get a table quickly when the diners left quickly after eating. Ordered 2 items. First is no 17, a red curry pork with rice. Tasted good with flavourful basil leaves. Second is no 33, Pad Thai Gai, which is flat noodles stir fried with eggs and chicken. Both dishes are not spicy at all but almost authentic. The taste is almost there!

The atmosphere is warm and the staff exude a real warmth. A place that touches the heart and pampers the senses - simply irresistible!

The day before I returned to Japan from a trip to Germany, I really wanted to eat rice, so I went looking for it. Khao pad (grilled rice) was delicious. Most of all, I was impressed by the smiling hospitality that I had rarely encountered on this trip.

Everything is brilliant but the space is small. This also makes it special. But I recommend coming here without hesitation

Super authentic Thai food! As soon as you enter the door, you feel like you are in Thailand. The chili on the counter is a testament to its heritage. The food is very good. Tom Yum Soup is a clear soup. Beef rice is my favorite flavor. It tastes even better with the chili powder recommended by the boss. If you can tolerate spicy food, be sure to try their chili powder and chili vinegar, which are very flavorful. The only thing I found out after seeing other people's comments and pictures was that I forgot to put eggs in my rice today? 😭

It's a small shop run by two Thai aunties and one uncle. There are only about 10 seats available, so it can get crowded sometimes. It is popular among locals and there are quite a few people there. The food is authentic Thai cuisine, and the portions are quite satisfying, so you'll be satisfied. After all, it's cheap, and you can eat it for about 8 euros, so I recommend it. The only thing you need to be careful about is that you can only use cash. Also, if you don't like spicy food, be careful as it's quite spicy (because it's Thai food)! If you ask the staff at the restaurant, they might be able to adjust the spiciness! If you want to eat cheaply, please visit!

I've been living in Munich for four years now, and this is a great restaurant that I use two or three times a month. In particular, the green, red, and yellow curries are very delicious as you can adjust the spiciness, and the yakisoba and stir-fried dishes are flavored with fish sauce and remind me of the dishes I used to eat in Bangkok. All the staff, including the owner, are very kind and kind, making this my favorite restaurant in Munich.

Taste is so so there are better cook than her, but their hospitality is super. Big portion. Place is super small. Food is cheap.

It is a good place for a quick meal! Just be mindful the place is a bit small thou, so there's not much seating place. I won't say the taste is authentic thai food... it is more of "Gemanised" thai food. The food is soso when I weigh it off against an Asian taste bud. The most common dish, Pad Kra Pao didn't have the kick of thai basil and garlic flavour. Tom yum kung soup flavour didn't have much flavour of lemon grass and other spices. The Pad thai was soso, a bit too salty.

Ich kann die negativen Kommentare zur mangelnden Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht nachvollziehen. Alle waren sehr nett und das Essen kam schnell. Lecker war es auch, nur der Reis und die Art des tofus im Curry haben mich nicht ganz überzeugt. Aber das ist einfach persönlicher Geschmack und deshalb völlig okay, finde ich.

Weniger populär als das Krau Thai gegenüber, aber ebenfalls eine gute Option für authentische thailändische Küche. Innen gibt‘s drei Plätze am Tresen und ca. 6-7 weitere an Hochtischen. Zwei 4er Tisch vor dem Restaurant sowie ein weiterer Hochtisch im Durchgang zum Innenhof holen das Maximum raus aus der kleinen Fläche. Den Köchinnen zuzuschauen ist eigentlich -neben dem Essen- das Highlight. Die Gerichte sind gut, wenn scharf drauf steht bekommt man das auch, alles wird vor den Augen der Gäste in der offenen Küche zubereitet. Tipp: Einfach probieren. Wer unsicher ist, bestellt nach Bildern an der Wand, wer sich darauf einlassen mag, wählt aus der DIN A4 Karte einfach drauflos. Man kann nichts falsch machen.

Dieses winzige Lokal ist einer der interessantesten Thai-Küchen in ganz Deutschland und ich habe bei sehr vielen gegessen. Es ist eng und klein, aber dafür auch irgebdwie wiederum lebhaft gemütlich. Angeblich soll es ein weiteres größeres Lokal als Restaurant geben, wo ich noch nicht gewesen bin. Die Chefin und Ihr Team sind super nett, STETS GUT GELAUNT und bekochen mit Passion alle Gäste, die ihr Essen schätzen. Alle Gerichte sind immer frisch und schnell sowie sehr original thailändisch zubereitet; OHNE FERTIGPRODUKTE, ohne billige Streckmittel wie Sahne in der Kokosmilch, fertige Soßen o.Ä. wird hier authentisch thailändische Suppenküchen-Kochkunst zelebriert. Due Suppen sind sehr stabil, da habe ich jedoch bereits feinere gegessen. Dennoch sind sie authentisch und stabil 👍 Die Gerichte sind super gewürzt, stets scharf und können auf Wunsch auch original scharf oder super scharf geordert werden; dann wird es aber auch für Schärfe-Liebhaber ein Fest. Alle Zutaten sind sehr gut ausgewählt und ich wurde dort noch niemals enttäuscht. Absoluter Geheimtipp und eine 100%ige Empfehlung. Kenne auch kein teures Thai-Restaurant, dass Noppakao irgendwie den Schneid abkaufen könnte. Natürlich gibt es andere gute Thai-Lokale, aber dies hier ist eine wirkliche Besonderheit 🥰🥳 Danke für jedes Mal, dass ich bei Euch so tolles Essen genießen darf.

Even from the outside, the shop looks a bit small and cramped. But this place serves very good Thai food. And most importantly, this place is not flowing from Munich's main station at all. If you don't like or can't eat spicy food, you should tell the seller in advance. There are many delicious dishes that we recommend trying, such as pork larb, pad Thai, and stir-fried basil.

Listen, this is a great spot to grab a quick lunch or dinner. It's made with solely fresh ingredients, and it has some spice to it! Now, the location is a simple tiny spot. But the reason why I give it 5 stars is because it gave me a chill, cozy feeling with the ladies working behind the counter and prepping and cooking food. And the prices are phenomenal for Munich!

Highly recommend this place is you want authentic, delicious and cheap Thai in Munich! The menu has great information about allergies and alot of dishes are gluten free! The shop itself is quite small so you may have to wait for seats if in peak times but they also do takeaway. The place has a real thailand street food vibe. The tomyum soup was alright but the real star was the pad thai- full of flavour and even included some sambal like sauce in the corner. Location is quite central- near a main train station. Noodle dishes as cheap as 7 or 8 euro for decent serving size. Main criticisms are they only take cash, it's small size and no lime/lemon with the noodle dishes. But highly recommend!

Eng, unbequem zum Sitzen, aber perfekt zum Genießen. Jedes Gericht das ich in diesem Imbiss gegessen habe, hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich empfehle Mu graprau mit Schweinebauch, oder die Variante von der thailändischen Karte. Mein Lieblingsgericht ist allerdings die Suppe mit Schweineinnereien, die wird wohl nicht jedem schmecken.
