the food was delicious, we ordered pad thai with tofu, spring rolls and mango sticky rice.. the owner was nice we had a small talk with the women behind the counter, they are all friendly and welcoming.. the place is not called a restaurant its an „imbiss“ so yes, there arent going to be big and comfortable seats.. you just have to eat your food in a corner and be happy about it.. its an authentic place and we left satisfied 🙌🏻

The perfect place if you want truly authentic Thai food 😍 It's a small eatery where the food is cooked right in front of you. The food is incredibly delicious, especially the papaya salad, laab ped, and pad krapao – I highly recommend them! Seating is very limited, so you might have to wait a bit. But it's worth it 😍

Small restaurant not enough seats for customer. The staffs were rude. We ordered Pad Thai and fried rice which we didn’t want to. I want to order something Thai spacial, but they said they too busy to make it ( there is 2 customers behind us and customers before us already got food ) which it is pre cook food so they forced us to order and the worst came in i never had a disgusting fried rice like this in my entire life they put tons of vegetables in it and the taste is weird and Pad Thai also the worst. I’m Thai so i know what Pad Thai should be. I will never go back there ever again. Since we have to pay 4 euro for parking so we don’t have much chance to go somewhere else.

I ordered Pad Khra Pao. The dish was average. I cook it often and eat it frequently at various Thai restaurants. The seasoning is very soy-heavy. More fresh ingredients like garlic, chili, and holy basil, as well as more umami, would have benefited the dish.

So, just to get this out of the way... ...There are no five stars, because for me, five stars always have to be the whole package (food, service, and ambiance). But if we just take the food, this little Thai snack bar gets a full five stars from me!!! Authentic, nice and spicy, and simply honest Thai ingredients. Portions are also rather large than too small. I didn't find them particularly friendly, but maybe they just need to see a guest again to open up a bit 😂 But otherwise, highly recommended. I had the Pad Kra Pao 👍🏽 but 🌶️

If I could, I wouldn't give it a star. The food tastes rotten, horrible. I was eating chicken and rice here yesterday when I told the waitress that my meal tasted weird and asked for a new dish. She said she could make me a new dish, but only if I paid again. What a disgrace! Never again!

Excellent Thai snack bar on Dachauer…has never been disappointed

Having recently been in Thailand for 3 weeks, finding this gem was beyond unexpected. Thai spicy eluded me as Farang traveler in Thailand but not so here! The owner was all too happy to deliver my pet-pet-pet request and laugh at my deliriously jubilant tears. Not a ton of tables but is every bit the hole-in-wall spot we all crave.

Very tasty! You can get good Thai food here at very reasonable prices! We'll be back! PS: The only thing missing is Thai iced lemon tea.

This was my first time trying sticky rice, and it was delicious. The staff were very friendly. However, the restaurant is small, so there's a lot of unpleasant food smell when you go in. But if you endure it for a little while, your nose will adjust and you'll be able to eat without the smell.

Disappointing food – unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it I really expected more. The food was tasteless and disappointing overall. The curry seemed heavily watered down and barely seasoned. The Pad Thai lacked any flavor and was more reminiscent of plain noodles without sauce. The sweet and sour dish was a bitter disappointment – ​​it tasted more like a lightly sweetened tomato soup with pineapple than the typical, balanced sweetness and acidity. Overall, everything seemed very inauthentic and poorly prepared. There are many Thai restaurants that serve much better food. For me, this was the first and last visit.

The food was delicious, we ordered two vegetarian dishes and the cook and the server were very nice and fun ladies. The atmosphere is also cozy and chill, I would for sure recommend to eat here if you have some time to wait between trains, as it's close enough to the main station. It's also affordable so thats amazing :D

Authentic Thai food served up lightning fast! This was the best Thai food we had in Munich. The flavors were delicate, complex, and delicious!

A hole in the wall and authentic Thai resto. The place is small and can feel a little choatic but the food is super good and the staff are super friendly. If you sit by the counter you can even watch them cook which is very entertaining.

For me, it's the best Thai restaurant in Munich. Great menu, fresh and authentic ingredients, and a friendly owner. The little shop is also cute with a few tables outside. There are tons of vegan options, just ask. I always enjoy coming :)

Papaya salad and chicken fried noodles cost 30 euros, but on the German menu, the salad is only 6.9 euros. If you don’t understand German or Thai, you’ll end up paying double the price.

I was dining alone, and the owner wasn't very friendly to new foreign customers, but the regulars were quite relaxed. I ordered the stir-fried shrimp and vegetable pho, which was delicious! They only accept cash.

Unfortunately, the service was disastrous. You don't expect much from a snack bar, but at least you should be able to finish your meal in peace without being reminded every three minutes after the first seven minutes by the cook (or owner?) to quickly clear your table for potential next guests. A real shame. And you can only pay in cash – anyone who thinks otherwise is a scoundrel…

Unfortunately, the food has deteriorated significantly. The interior is dirty and smells strongly of old grease. There are still food remnants stuck to the "fresh" cutlery. The owner is extremely unfriendly and only interested in making money—she even tries to force improperly cooked dishes on the guests. There are definitely better Thai takeaways in Munich.

This was my first time at Nop Kao Thai and I'm so happy!! I made the right choice! I ordered duck salad, fried chicken wings, sticky rice, a fried egg, shrimp fried rice, and two mango sticky rice balls. My husband ate them all with great pleasure and said they were even better than in Thailand. My daughter told me to give her 10 stars. It was so delicious!!! Thank you so much for making authentic Thai food with a spicy, delicious, and excellent flavor.

I had a very disappointing experience here. When I told the owner we didn’t have any cash, I was just about to ask where we could withdraw some — but before I could even finish my sentence, he rudely cut me off and snapped, “Can’t you read?”, pointing at a sign. There was absolutely no need for such attitude. We were being polite, just trying to solve a problem. Hospitality should start with basic respect, and sadly, this place failed in that regard. Would not recommend.

Crazy good Pad Graprau with minced beef, quite spicy – very authentic and super friendly. The vegan alternative was number 34 (although not listed on the menu, but recommended by the staff). Definitely go back when in Munich.

We spontaneously stopped in for dinner on Saturday just before closing time, as our hotel was right next door. We received a very friendly welcome, despite the time of day. What can I say: Thai street food at its finest Flavor explosion in the mouth Some of the best Asian food we've had. It's a shame we're not from Munich; this would be a regular. Unfortunately, this was the first time I didn't enjoy the food at a Thai restaurant. Pad Krapao tasted of nothing, and the Som Tum and Pad See Ew were also not tasty. Only my girlfriend's Guay Tiew was tasty. It was a shame. We were very disappointed. The service was very friendly, though.

Noppokao is my favorite Thai takeaway in Munich. I've been coming here for six years, and they've never disappointed me. Sometimes they're not in a particularly good mood, but that doesn't matter to me—their food is simply perfect.

The food is great - I've been here several times. Especially the Pad Krapow Moo - the best I've ever eaten in Germany! Authentic, spicy, incredibly tasty – I have to order it every time, even though I would actually like to try other dishes too ;) The interior is a bit stuffy and not entirely clean (typical snack bar), but you definitely won't be disappointed in terms of taste here. Service is a bit robust but overall friendly. The price is also completely reasonable. I'd love to come back!

The drink prices were also very affordable, and there are public, paid parking spaces in front of the restaurant, which makes accessibility easier. The only point of criticism: There was a somewhat unusual smell either in the chicken meat or in the plates. In addition, the seating options, both inside and outside, are quite limited. Food tasted authentic, feels like your in Thailand. Pad Krapao’s flavour was thick, and the portion was a lot. Unfortunately, the tom yum was just decent. The taste could have been stronger. The lab ped was good, crunchy, and full of flavour. But if you’re not a fan of sour food, maybe you should mention to not make it less sour. Overall everything was amazing, just put in mind that the restaurant was pretty small, not so much place to sit.

They cook right in front of you at the bar. All ingredients are fresh, dishes are delicious. Cooking is very fast. You can eat on the spot or take it with you. Prices are very reasonable, soups for 4.9 €, salads 6.5 €, main courses from 9.5 €. It is important to note that only cash is accepted. The tom kha and pork in green curry were delicious, there were a lot of ingredients and the spiciness was moderate. Rice comes with dishes
