Waiting over an hour for a pizza and a bowl at lunch is unacceptable. Even though the food was delicious and it's nice to sit outside (the restaurant wasn't even half full).

Yes, definitely recommended. The manager greeted me very warmly and friendly. We had a great seat right by the panoramic window, we had a good conversation, and it wasn't too loud, although we were allowed to be loud 😅 . The food was a bit dry for some of us; it could have used more sauce. The food selection is special, something you don't eat every day. The service was nice, but apparently they were understaffed, as we always had to wait a long time for our drinks (and it was a normal, not very busy place) and the waiters didn't come by often enough to reorder. If they had come to our table more often, we would have ordered more drinks. Furthermore, they didn't serve the food and drinks the way waiters should be trained to. They passed them around the table, served from left to right, and didn't leave the drinks for the person who ordered them 😅 This goes to the manager. The dessert was homemade and very delicious! Generally a good place to go out to eat with a group of people. I felt very comfortable with 11 people, but more and better trained service would be recommended.

Three of us were there on May 26th. The restaurant was recommended to us. Our first impressions were positive. We hadn't reserved but got a table anyway. The waiter was there very quickly and took our requests. Unfortunately, that was the end of all the positive things that evening. It started with me getting the wrong drink. I wanted a non-alcoholic shandy, but I only got a non-alcoholic beer. When I complained, I was given a glass of lemonade to mix myself. I could live with that, but I didn't think it was okay. After about an hour, we asked if our food had been forgotten. The table next to us arrived about 15 minutes after us, but got their food after just 30 minutes. When we asked, we were told that they had pizzas for children. They were regular pizzas and an excuse for us. After the said hour, our food arrived: the starter and the main course. That's completely unacceptable, as both were hot dishes. The asparagus soup was delicious, which I couldn't say before the pizza. The tomato sauce was almost unseasoned, and the cooked ham was carelessly placed cold on top of the finished pizza. That's okay with Parma ham, but that wasn't offered; only cooked ham. The quality of the ham was abysmal. It was the cheapest pressed ham. It could be much better. When we'd finished eating, the waiter quickly cleared the dishes but didn't really respond when we spoke to them. We sat there for what felt like an hour with empty glasses. It wasn't until just before 10 p.m. that the waiter came back and asked if we wanted another coffee because they were cleaning the machine. We said no and paid instead. We agreed that we wouldn't tip the waiter for his service. The waiter gets one for good work, as usual 10%, but if the service was really excellent, he'd be happy to give more. But you can't tip for abysmal service. So we paid all three. I then asked for the bill, which the waiter accepted without comment and left. We continued talking. Only when I turned around at my seat did I see that the waiter from the back right had also simply placed the bill on the table a little way away without comment. I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time. They should talk to the staff. The restaurant probably also has trouble finding good staff, but the service that evening was more of a hassle than a solution to fill the restaurant. The dining room is very open and I find it modern and cozy. Unfortunately, the ceiling and walls are missing anything to absorb the sound. When the restaurant is full, like it was here, it's very loud and you can hardly have a conversation without raising your voice.

We really enjoy eating here, the food is very tasty and so far we haven't been disappointed. The employees are always polite and you feel like you're in good hands, even with children ☺️

Fresh Cuisine with Soul – An Evening at PURiNO Karlsruhe A visit to PURiNO Karlsruhe promises authentic Italian cuisine in a lively, relaxed atmosphere. What immediately impresses: the quality of the food, excellent value for money, and attentive, friendly service. Our Choice: Two dishes took center stage this evening – both impressed with their freshness and balanced flavors. Taglierini al Gamberetti The finest taglierini, cooked al dente, in a fruity and spicy sauce with a delicate lemon accent. The shrimp and prawns were cooked to perfection – juicy, aromatic, and harmoniously integrated. The light citrus note gave the dish freshness and lightness. The portion was generous, but never overwhelming – a perfectly balanced dish. Ravioli Fichia A creative delight: homemade ravioli with an original filling of goat cheese, ricotta, roasted peppers, and figs. The sweet and creamy composition was wonderfully complemented by caramelized walnuts and an intense Gorgonzola and walnut sauce. The only criticism, albeit at a high level, was that the hard cheese used – presumably young Grana Padano or Parmesan – was served in very coarse, elastic shavings. The taste was fine, but it lacked the aromatic depth and nutty bite of a mature Parmigiano Reggiano. Finer, more delicate shavings of a 24-36-month-aged Parmesan would have significantly enhanced the dish – both in terms of taste and mouthfeel. Service & Ambience: The service was consistently warm, attentive, and professional – present without being intrusive. You felt welcome and well looked after. The ambiance was modern yet cozy. Stylish plates, solid wooden tables, and warm lighting create an environment where you'll enjoy taking your time. Conclusion: PURiNO Karlsruhe offers honest, aromatic cuisine with creative touches. Small details – like the choice of aged Parmesan – could further enhance the culinary experience. But the overall package is already impressive: excellent food, attentive service, and an ambiance full of character. A request for the kitchen: A high-quality, well-aged Parmigiano Reggiano – served in fine shavings – would be the icing on the cake for already successful dishes. Then this excellent experience becomes a true highlight.

Phew, where do I begin?! The table was reserved for 7 p.m. We were warned that the food would take about 30-45 minutes. Our starter arrived at 8:30 p.m. There was a hair in it (in my food) – it was quickly replaced with a brief "sorry." The main course arrived at 9 p.m. It was good, which probably saves the stars... It's noisy inside. The young man who served us was polite, but very curt and did everything sideways to us because he had to leave quickly. He wanted to see everything we ordered on the menu – probably he didn't know all the dishes. Oh, and there's a new menu too. Lots of new things – dishes we loved have been removed... P.S.: I don't quite understand the insieme – we ordered four. We got two plates, each with a bowl of tomato/avocado and three small slices of bread... 20 euros for that was awful... Oh well...

The pizza was good and large, but the base was too thin. The incredibly delicious bread with the antipasti deserves special mention. The service was very friendly.

They're buying recessions that unfortunately have nothing to do with reality. At the moment, Costa is the man of the hour 👍 Something like this can only survive in undemanding Germany. Poor service because it's slow and disorganized, pizzas that aren't pizzas, drinks and food come as they please - when they do - and are far too expensive. The public seems to value free food for the kids, a nearby playground to keep them occupied while they eat, and, of course, the name of the waitress more than quality and professional service. As the store, so the customer.

The food is very tasty and the prices are reasonable. It's very busy, so reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Wait times tend to increase.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated considerably. Staff were inattentive and overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Food was good, but no longer a highlight. The price/performance ratio is not justified. It used to be better organized under different management.

I've been studying at the music college for five years and basically go here once a week. The servers are friendly and the food isn't bad, but lately the store manager has been very rude! I feel very uncomfortable!

How bad it's become there... We've enjoyed coming here for many years, practically since the beginning. And I asked myself: Does it always have to be perfect? ​​I'd say you should at least leave with a good feeling. You always pay a lot... This is how it went: Unclear responsibilities regarding ordering. Nobody comes. Unreasonable wait times, which you're not informed about in advance, especially annoying when you come with a small child. We got our food after 45 minutes. Elsewhere, you would have been offered a small snack, like bread with olive oil. We weren't even offered the children's portion earlier. Stress was inevitable. Purino used to be child-friendly, what a shame. The children's pasta with oil and butter was dried out and half cold. No napkins on the table. No salt and pepper. We weren't offered any oil like before. We had to serve ourselves because we weren't noticed again. Among other things, we ordered a bowl for €20, and a petite woman didn't even get full from it. They used to be really big. So, during the meal, we wanted to reorder bruschetta. It took 40 minutes. What a joke. The pizza with fresh basil came without any basil. When we asked for the bill, the smart waitresses first deliberately ignored us and then, although not literally, somewhat brazenly "reprimanded" us on the second attempt to be a bit more patient. Then we waited another 15 minutes. We were about to leave without paying... Everything has its time. The Purino era is over.

The wait for food was very long. More than an hour on a Friday night... The waitress was very friendly, but there was a problem in the kitchen.

This restaurant just doesn't appeal to me. First, the positive: the outdoor area is quite nice, and I found the staff to be friendly, attentive, and customer-oriented. The interior is simply too loud. When the restaurant is full, you can barely hear yourself. The food? I think it's pointless to give the dishes a pseudo-Italian touch through the names and descriptions. It's simply a chain restaurant with a very average standard (at least, that's how I feel). The pizza isn't really outstanding; the selection is rather small. The pasta dishes don't meet my expectations at all. The portions are more like a children's meal, and the taste isn't that great either. And all of this, unfortunately, comes at a rather high price. For me, the price-performance ratio doesn't match at all. There are much better (truly) Italian restaurants in Karlsruhe.

Before I went to this place, I thought "immediately" meant "right back," but it actually took 27 minutes! They came 27 minutes later to take the order. The pizza wasn't cooked well, or was so cooked that it was burnt.

The table, which had been reserved well in advance, was only pushed together when we were already there. The appetizer came before the drinks were served. The service was friendly but the rest was an absolute disgrace. It took almost 30 minutes for the order to be taken. Over 1 hour after ordering, the appetizer arrived along with the drinks! The main course took another 90 minutes to arrive. We would be put off several times with "others feel the same way" and "only 5-10 more minutes" while we saw the same dishes being served to people at other tables, some of whom had arrived more than an hour after us. Mind you the restaurant was half full and there were 6 of us. I can only advise against the main course salad. For €16 you get a portion that would be too small even as a starter salad and with the wrong dressing. The person sitting next to me ordered vegetarian and received chicken. The person sitting next to me added walnuts to her salad despite the suggestion that she had a walnut allergy. No apology, no discount or anything like that.

I really liked the ambience of the restaurant. The only negative point was the pizza, which unfortunately didn't suit my taste with its very thin base and tomato sauce. What is particularly positive is the child-friendly pricing: children up to 6 years eat free, and children aged 6 and over only pay half price!

The food is lower midfield. The pizzas were thin like a tarte flambée (perhaps their concept - I'll leave it at that) and the tomato sauce was spread so thinly that the already "crispy" base was even drier. No trace of mozzarella and yes, the pizza was declared to have cheese. Unfortunately it was only lukewarm when it came to our table. My knife was dirty, but was replaced without any problems. All in all, I would have gotten more out of a frozen pizza (more in my stomach, more enjoyment while eating, more money in my wallet). Maybe we had a bad day today and needed to skimp on ingredients. I have no idea, the dirty toilets actually did the rest for me. I don't have to go there anymore.

Beautifully located in the green area at Gottesau Castle with enough parking space right in front of the door, indoor/outdoor catering, barrier-free, friendly staff, eCash payment without any problems but: I can't recommend pasta/penne arrabiata...it tasted more like a ready meal, cherry tomatoes were rather sour without any taste of their own, and were carelessly brought to the plate without any garnish...and the best thing: individual sprinkling of parmesan by the guest Extra charge🤦‍♂️sorry, but you put a little more effort into the kitchen somewhere else...so there's no risk of repeating it🤷🏼‍♂️

I was supposed to go to the center of town but got lost and ended up at this restaurant. Unlike the ravioli I eat in Japan, it's huge and dry, and I can't tell if it's delicious or not. The pizza had so much arugula that I had never eaten it before. Let's just say that the salad tastes pretty good. However, I am concerned that the carrots in it are thick. Still, I think the staff working with the small number of customers did their best.

Beautiful, especially in summer! The food is often very good, but I've noticed that when it's very busy, it doesn't taste as good. On my last visit, the pasta dish was unfortunately not good and rather sticky. But that was the first time, and it was extremely busy! Otherwise, everything was great!
