Excellent restaurant with excellent management I recently visited this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, with a clean and well-maintained environment. However, what impressed me most was the great management and professionalism of the entire team. The service was attentive and friendly, and it was obvious that the staff is well trained and motivated. Management has clearly set a high standard which is reflected in every detail. From the quick order taking to the prompt delivery of the food - everything went smoothly. The quality of the food was also excellent, which shows that the team in the kitchen knows their craft and is passionate about what they do. Overall, I can highly recommend this restaurant, especially because of the exemplary management and outstanding organization. A place I will happily return to!

The L'Ostaria in Karlsruhe Durlach offers a charming atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the pleasant outdoor area. Even though we had reserved in advance, the restaurant was surprisingly empty on the day we visited, so we were able to sit outside without any problems. The evening started promisingly with a small mixed salad (Insalata Mista). This was not only fresh and crunchy, but also perfectly prepared. Even though we were traditionally served oil, vinegar and salt and pepper as we know it from Italy, this was not necessary as the salad already had a delicious seasoning. For main courses we chose penne arrabiata and a pizza with two different toppings. The Penne Arrabiata impressed with a pleasant spiciness that was exactly what we wanted. The only small point of criticism was that the oil in the sauce was used a little too generously, but that didn't affect the taste. For the pizza we chose a half of Tonno, which we really enjoyed. However, the second half, called Canarino, is particularly worth mentioning. This variant, topped with anchovies, was an interesting new discovery for us. The combination of spicy fish and the other ingredients was surprisingly successful. However, this could easily be overlooked by guests who don't like fish, as this variant is not listed among the fish pizzas. Overall, L'Ostaria offers an authentic Italian experience with some exciting variations. The quality of the food is high. If you are looking for delicious Italian cuisine in Karlsruhe Durlach, you should definitely try L'Ostaria.

Unfortunately totally overrated. Small expensive portion of pasta. Pizza large and thin with very few toppings.

Actually quite ok. unless the music is set way too loud. 10 or even more loudspeakers hum loudly and you can hardly talk properly in them. You have to close your ears when you eat. Music in restaurants is for mood and not for dancing.

Delicious pizza in an xxl size!

Great pizza, great service, always delicious. I also like to pick up a pizza. Unfortunately, parking is limited and you can of course hear the Alter Schlachthof/Tullastrasse train stop outside. We'd love to come back. My personal highlight is the selection of non-alcoholic aperitifs!

Service is no comparison to l'osteria in the city center, you think they were once shoe sellers. The guests are waiting outside, tables are not being wiped down, the inside is empty, and behind the bar there are meetings of five people to chat. ESPRESSO is available without sugar; upon request, a sugar bowl comes with the sharp-edged lid torn off. Without words!

Went there spontaneously for dinner. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The food was sensational.

The two of us went to this charming Italian restaurant and had a wonderful evening! We ordered spaghetti aglio e olio twice and a pizza margherita. The pasta was perfectly al dente and wonderfully aromatic - exactly how you want it. Particularly noteworthy was the pizza: it was huge and delicious down to the last bite. The dough was crispy, the tomato sauce was fresh and the mozzarella was of the highest quality. Our waitress, Blerina, made the evening even more memorable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive and always had a smile on her face. Your service was simply outstanding and rounded off our visit. Overall a great evening with excellent food and service. We'll definitely be back!

Tiramisu is large, but rather poor to mediocre - quality instead of quantity would be a measure. Otherwise fine.

The ciabatta bread from the bruscetta was completely burnt. The fact that anyone even dares to publish something like this is an outrage. The pizzas were also very salty and cold. And you pay a lot of money for that.

We had dinner today at L'Osteria in a harmoniously pleasant atmosphere. We were served by the waitress Bianca, who not only has a very welcoming personality and ensures absolute well-being, but also from a business perspective makes the delicious desserts tasty for the guest. Biggest praise! The food was excellent, from the starter, main course, side salad and dessert. The new L'Osteria Ice Tea Peach Zero is also highly recommended! After visiting L'Osterien in Germany and Switzerland over 15 times, this restaurant is by far the best restaurant in the chain!

The two of us treated ourselves to a shared Capricciosa and Caprese pizza on the terrace. The pizza was great! For starters there was Vitello Tonnato, which was also good. Service was friendly and accommodating. Gladly again :-)

We have been here several times and unfortunately the service has gotten worse and worse. The three of us had reserved a table in July and had to wait "shortly" (it ended up being 15 minutes) at the bar until our table was free. We couldn't even sit down at the bar, we mostly just stood around stupidly in the way. When we finally sat down, it took another 20 minutes for the drinks and food to arrive. After about an hour the noodles came from our friend. Another 10 minutes later my friend and I's pizzas arrived. He ordered a Prosciutto pizza and I actually ordered half Caprese and half Rustica. However, I was presented with a Pizza Funghi, which I declined because I hadn't ordered it and I don't eat mushrooms. So she was taken away again. Then nothing happened again for 20 minutes. Nobody even came to inform me about the wrong delivery, apologized and told me that my actual pizza was being made. After over 20 minutes the "real" pizza was brought to me, but it was burnt, completely misshapen and spicy, which it normally isn't. Even when it was cleared away, no one even apologized for the fact that our food was delivered incorrectly and delayed. It's a shame because the atmosphere of the restaurant is really great. We'd rather go to Bruchsal in the future.

We were there spontaneously on a Friday evening during our vacation. We got a seat even without a reservation. The staff were all very friendly.

We were at the Losteria in the city center on Saturday evening and since it was so crowded and loud, the boss offered us to go to Durlacherallee. We described it as a very nice location, but even though it wasn't that busy, the waiting time was far too long and the food came with a delay, which was a shame. No apology, cleared away and that was it, I can't recommend it.

It was my first time there, the staff was very friendly and nice. The furnishings were okay, I think everyone feels and evaluates it a little differently. I was really shocked by the size of the pizza. I had another full dinner with my wife..... 🤣. The pizza tasted very good. It's a shame that there aren't two sizes of pizza here.

Nicely decorated and delicious (large) pizza. Personally, I think the L'Osteria here on Durlacher Allee is much nicer than the L'Osteria in the city center. It is also usually a little less crowded and therefore a little quieter.

Been there as a couple. Order placed a salad, a pasta dish, a pizza. Salad came, pizza came, no pasta. When asked, the waiter said that no pasta had been ordered. When both of us explained that the pasta had been ordered, the waitress gave a rigorous denial. You can make a mistake sometimes, but you can't deny it. We don't have to go there anymore.

Very friendly service, good food, but the loud music is still ringing in my ears. Even when asked, the disco-like volume was not reduced. Maybe you don't want guests chatting over a glass of wine during or after dinner.
