A pure disaster The waiter was nice but disorganized and a total mess. There were 8 of us who waited 1.30 hours for the food and the food didn't reward the wait. The pizza was inedible. Sorry, we won't be coming back

Very good Italian restaurant The price is reasonable and the products are good The boss is probably a football fan seeing the newspapers hanging on the wall 👌🏾👌🏾 So I strongly recommend to French people who come to this city.... See you soon

Even though it is very crowded, they take the order very quickly and take care of it. The atmosphere is great, so are the drinks. It's a slightly noisy environment with good music, perfect for coming with a group of friends.

It seems more like an Albanian restaurant, with an Italian name because that attracts customers better. It doesn't have an Italian flair. The food isn't 100% either. I didn't like it because my pizza wasn't baked properly. I can't recommend it.

We were there last night. Unfortunately it is always relatively loud there. We ordered a dessert plate for 2 people. This consisted of 3 desserts. These were very tasty, but really powerful. Unfortunately we didn't manage to eat everything.

I spontaneously visited this restaurant on a Saturday. Got a place straight away. The service is very friendly and attentive. I chose a “Brandstifter” pizza and was not disappointed - but I would have expected a little more spiciness🍕

Voucher was not accepted. Apparently it has to be printed out... which makes no sense at all, then you could just print it out 10 times and redeem it. What are the vouchers for then created as a QR code?

Addendum December 29th, 2024: ordered yesterday via a delivery service and the pizzas were delivered vertically! transported and were therefore completely out of place and cold. We also reported this back to Aposto. We were contacted very promptly and had yesterday's pizzas replaced. We think that's really great and thank you very much! Visually everything is great, very central. No matter how full it is, there is usually still room to sit, no matter summer or winter...

We were there with 6 people and two small dogs. The service was very friendly and quick. The food and value for money was good. We'd love to come back.

I really have to say that the Aposto in Karlsruhe has become a regular shop for our group. The Big Ben cocktails are great and we don't even need to talk about the service. Always there quickly and always brutally nice🫶🏽

Very tasty food and great service. The portions are very small for the price, hence the star deduction. New and classic dishes and always the option to go vegan. The atmosphere has a bit of a cafeteria feel to it... That's a matter of taste. Definitely recommended.

For a simple meal with a little overpriced, ok. You shouldn't have high expectations. Unfortunately, like almost everywhere in the city, prices are too high in my opinion. Especially the drink prices. Would have liked to have had a second glass of wine. Would have. But then I made it at home. Perfect place for late evening cocktails, nightcaps, last beer 👍🏻

Very friendly service. Very family friendly. There is a children's games. And lots of tables there. It's a huge restaurant with several levels. It's not exactly quiet, but with children that doesn't bother us. The food was surprisingly good, we wouldn't have expected it. And the service is attentive despite the size. We'll be back because it's really good with children.

We ate here mid week. My husband had a salad with chicken teriyaki and was very satisfied. I was looking forward to carbonara and was horrified. What kind of soggy sauce was that? One would have thought it was thickened with cornstarch. Whatever happened there was really very strange. Otherwise I don't have a problem with cream in carbonara, but I definitely need to be retrained here. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. Creepy 😕. The service was very nice and attentive. Nevertheless, I had a feeling of disappointment when I left the restaurant. Very unfortunate

We went to the breakfast buffet at Aposto today. There was nothing to complain about. It was plentiful and very tasty. Great selection, including Prosecco and juices including homemade orange juice. Unbeatable price of 14.90 euros. Coffee and tea etc. are not included. Which I didn't think was bad at all, because the tea was unbeatable, a peppermint tea with fresh peppermint leaves. Where else can you get this? The finest coffee. Which is usually never mentioned. The toilets are very clean. Above all, they smell wonderful. Thanks for that too. All in all, I can say that I will definitely come back, even at a different time of day. Thanks to the whole Aposto team, who are really extremely nice.

I went there with other mothers because I had heard that there was a great play area for children. However, it was remodeled and what's left is a really sad and dreary looking little playroom. Unfortunately the service wasn't great either. Food was good. Dessert was tiny (I had the impression they would see themselves as a star restaurant) but really tasty. Unfortunately for me as a mom it's no longer an option.

We recently visited the Aposto. We found the service to be quite bad. The preparation time was very good, but the food overall tasted quite monotonous. When finalizing the bill (separately), some drinks that were paid for in cash were billed without a receipt for entertainment. It shouldn't be like that. We're thinking about another visit for now.

I went to this restaurant at 12:30pm and ordered from the lunch menu. I pointed to the dish and told the waiter, "I want that." When I finally paid the bill, the price was much higher than the lunch menu. The waiter explained to me that I had to say “DEAL” when ordering otherwise the normal price would be charged. Is there such a thing? Is language no longer sufficient for communication? It felt like the waiter intentionally treated me badly. This is really incredible!

Due to a mistake in the kitchen we had to wait a long time for our food. This (pizza) was really very good and the service also tried very hard to accommodate us. Ambiance is always a matter of opinion, there is quite a noise level including music and since there was no service on the terrace, the door was open and this became unpleasant towards the evening. Nevertheless, a visit to the Aposto is recommended.

The jumbo cocktails, which cost €8.90 during happy hour, taste like fizzy water and have almost no alcohol in them, even though the Raspberry should actually have 4 types of alcohol in it

Breakfast at Aposto is back! (Sat, Sun and public holidays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) A great cold and warm buffet, fresh orange juice, pancakes and a good selection. And of course the tried and tested friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Recommended!

The food is very good. The service is also good. The only thing that really bothered me was the loud music in the background. You would have to speak a little louder if you wanted to have a conversation.

The service wasn't particularly friendly, the waiter seemed annoyed. The food tasted okay, but a few hours after we ate my friend got very bad stomach problems and chills and also vomited. Even now (3 days later) the symptoms continue and everything points to food poisoning. He had eaten the carbonara, so salmonella poisoning from the egg cannot be ruled out.

The pasta was good, though the sauce could have used a bit more flavor. However, the fresh rosemary and Parmesan were nice touches. The homemade lemonade was a refreshing bonus! I added this spot to my Dyli app for the great drink and cozy vibes.

Food is not the bringer. The pizza bowls are pure cardboard and not what you imagine. All in all too expensive for the quality. Service was friendly, but seemed annoyed and overwhelmed at times. It was also very empty. Probably not just our first choice!

We were looking for a place based on reviews, we decided to get to know this place better... there was a nice girl who served us, but everything else was just terrible, we ordered 3 different pizzas, a child tried one piece of pizza with tuna and immediately started vomiting, later 3 more adults got food poisoning, I suffered from acute poisoning for 4 days, I don’t recommend this establishment to anyone because you could endanger your health.

We had lunch for two, it was very tasty, nice service, she even asked for the recipe for us in the kitchen. If we are in Karlsruhe again we will come back.

Very humongous restaurant. Their outside seating area is as huge as a parking lot. They offer half and half pizza option, which was a big plus to me. The pizza was okay. I like the crust thin dough, but the toppings and sauce weren't enough to taste everything. I was served by Clara (or klara?), and she was the kindest German waitress (idk if she actually is German but yet she got me the best service in germany) I've ever seen so far, also smiliest. She is the reason I'm giving 5 stars even though the food was not impressive.

The family/children's area is just awesome. Nowhere can you go out to eat with small children in such a relaxed manner as at Aposto Karlsruhe!!!

Food actually tastes good, the service is nice and friendly. Requests are usually taken into account. Price acceptable for the city center. There are nice seating options and you can usually still find a place. Recommended for a nice evening in the city. The pizza rolls taste really good! The burgers are quite okay.

Very rude, unfriendly service. In general, the waitresses seemed very rude. Even when there is a lot going on, you should remain friendly. It doesn't seem so Italian here. In Italy, friendliness in gastronomy is an absolute given. That's why it was the first and last time we went for a drink there. Not recommended! Just because you adorn yourself with Italian names doesn't mean you're a good Italian restaurant. Even though the food appears to be good, service is just as important. Maybe my well-intentioned criticism will pay more attention to friendliness.

Decent food at decent prices. The lunch menu is a bit confusing because you don't know what to combine and choose. But overall it was delicious. I had a pizza with a side salad and a lemonade.

There were 6 of us there and we got our food quickly. It tasted delicious and you could see straight away that everything was homemade. The staff was also very friendly. Gladly again!

The waitress seemed very annoyed. There was no meat, only vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food wasn't beautifully presented and didn't taste very good either. Was very expensive for a very small portion. The cocktails are not beautifully decorated and not prepared properly. The whole thing in itself was very sad because we were looking forward to a nice evening. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

We ordered pizza. Delivery time was fine and pretty accurate. Unfortunately we had to bake our pizza in the oven again because the dough was still raw.

The location & the ambience is very nice. The waiter was generally nice and friendly, but he didn't speak German very well, so my wife and I's order was taken incorrectly. Pizza and pasta dishes are not cheap...but they are tasty and sufficiently portioned and not just the usual run-of-the-mill pizzas. Cocktails are quite expensive...because you tend to go there during happy hour. Service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Good location and great to sit outside.

All the food was not tasty. The "Jackpot" dish was simply disgusting, the vegetables were overcooked, the potatoes were undercooked. Zucchini bruschettas seemed to wait 2 hours for someone to order them, on top of these bruschettas there was a very sad arugula. Pizzabrot was also not tasty. We were served by a woman who always got annoyed if someone used words incorrectly (our company is from different countries). This place is not worth your attention, I recommend looking for another place.

Taste is debatable. However, you should know that the chefs can only do what is on the menu. E.g. Pizza rolls with salami are not possible. In addition, the drinks (Cola, Spezi or Fanta) are non-carbonated, and despite our advice, lame drinks were brought again. Sad especially at these prices.

Quite a large restaurant, spread over several floors. Seems very cozy due to the many seating areas. Additionally a large outdoor area. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and quick. And that during the European Championship round of 16 football game Germany against Denmark. Absolutely recommended.

One of the few restaurants in Karlsruhe city center where you can still get something to eat at 9 p.m. on weekdays. The map is impressive.

Large selection, food was good but not an experience. Service was friendly but seemed a bit confused and kept asking us twice.

In any case, at least 100 people stood in line for 2-3 hours. An absolute dampener for the evening.

We really enjoy being in the Aposto. After the renovation it became even more beautiful. The employees are always friendly and it's fun to be here. Pasta Napoli with burrata is simply my favorite :)

We were here for the first time and we are simply thrilled. Great ambience, very friendly service staff, very good prices for very good and tasty food. The ice cream is not to be sniffed at either. We each had a different spaghetti ice cream for dessert and each one was excellent. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Karlsruhe.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the current online ordering process offered. You can only order half of the dishes on offer online; the advertised pizza with two different halves cannot be ordered at all. Okay, so I tried to order by phone because I was hoping to be able to order the entire menu - none of it! Here you only get the information that you can only order online. So I filled out the online form again, with the options still available online (!), where I was then shown “not all of your selected options” are available. I'm really at a loss for words when it comes to a process like this, I've never experienced anything like it.

I just always like being there, the food is great, the service is super friendly and I love the atmosphere outside in the summer.

The cheesecake is highly recommended.
