Food is not the bringer. The pizza bowls are pure cardboard and not what you imagine. All in all too expensive for the quality. Service was friendly, but seemed annoyed and overwhelmed at times. It was also very empty. Probably not just our first choice!

We were looking for a place based on reviews, we decided to get to know this place better... there was a nice girl who served us, but everything else was just terrible, we ordered 3 different pizzas, a child tried one piece of pizza with tuna and immediately started vomiting, later 3 more adults got food poisoning, I suffered from acute poisoning for 4 days, I don’t recommend this establishment to anyone because you could endanger your health.

We had lunch for two, it was very tasty, nice service, she even asked for the recipe for us in the kitchen. If we are in Karlsruhe again we will come back.

Very humongous restaurant. Their outside seating area is as huge as a parking lot. They offer half and half pizza option, which was a big plus to me. The pizza was okay. I like the crust thin dough, but the toppings and sauce weren't enough to taste everything. I was served by Clara (or klara?), and she was the kindest German waitress (idk if she actually is German but yet she got me the best service in germany) I've ever seen so far, also smiliest. She is the reason I'm giving 5 stars even though the food was not impressive.

The family/children's area is just awesome. Nowhere can you go out to eat with small children in such a relaxed manner as at Aposto Karlsruhe!!!

Food actually tastes good, the service is nice and friendly. Requests are usually taken into account. Price acceptable for the city center. There are nice seating options and you can usually still find a place. Recommended for a nice evening in the city. The pizza rolls taste really good! The burgers are quite okay.

Very rude, unfriendly service. In general, the waitresses seemed very rude. Even when there is a lot going on, you should remain friendly. It doesn't seem so Italian here. In Italy, friendliness in gastronomy is an absolute given. That's why it was the first and last time we went for a drink there. Not recommended! Just because you adorn yourself with Italian names doesn't mean you're a good Italian restaurant. Even though the food appears to be good, service is just as important. Maybe my well-intentioned criticism will pay more attention to friendliness.

Decent food at decent prices. The lunch menu is a bit confusing because you don't know what to combine and choose. But overall it was delicious. I had a pizza with a side salad and a lemonade.

The breakfast buffet was averagely good, the service was very friendly and attentive, but unfortunately a bit too slow if you are in a hurry in the morning. Unfortunately, the vegetables that were advertised on the website were missing (cucumber, tomatoes), but they were happy to bring them when I asked. Unfortunately, it took quite a while and I didn't have that much time. The caffeine-free coffee, which was happily brought upon request, also took a long time to arrive. Unfortunately, the fruit salad was no longer completely fresh, but was removed immediately when I pointed it out. Overall, a pleasant breakfast restaurant right next to the train station in Karlsruhe with a relaxed atmosphere and a nice outdoor area. I think if you have enough time to wait to order, the a la carte breakfast is worth it.

There were 6 of us there and we got our food quickly. It tasted delicious and you could see straight away that everything was homemade. The staff was also very friendly. Gladly again!

I've only ever been there in the evening to have a drink. The drinks are of high quality and the atmosphere is also good. It's just a shame that there is no Asbach there.

The waitress seemed very annoyed. There was no meat, only vegan and vegetarian dishes. The food wasn't beautifully presented and didn't taste very good either. Was very expensive for a very small portion. The cocktails are not beautifully decorated and not prepared properly. The whole thing in itself was very sad because we were looking forward to a nice evening. I wouldn't recommend eating here.

Food is very good. Service is on point. Music sometimes a bit loud However, the drinks such as wine spritzer and Aperol are mostly non-carbonated. Even after the complaint and the alleged replacement of the carbon dioxide cartridge, no difference. And no, that wasn't just the case once

We ordered pizza. Delivery time was fine and pretty accurate. Unfortunately we had to bake our pizza in the oven again because the dough was still raw.

The location & the ambience is very nice. The waiter was generally nice and friendly, but he didn't speak German very well, so my wife and I's order was taken incorrectly. My pasta dish wasn't particularly tasty and therefore expensive for me in terms of price-performance ratio. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Since the new boss Lisa arrived, the service and table reservations have been working fine. She takes care of everything.

Pizza and pasta dishes are not cheap...but they are tasty and sufficiently portioned and not just the usual run-of-the-mill pizzas. Cocktails are quite expensive...because you tend to go there during happy hour. Service was very friendly and we didn't have to wait long. Good location and great to sit outside.

All the food was not tasty. The "Jackpot" dish was simply disgusting, the vegetables were overcooked, the potatoes were undercooked. Zucchini bruschettas seemed to wait 2 hours for someone to order them, on top of these bruschettas there was a very sad arugula. Pizzabrot was also not tasty. We were served by a woman who always got annoyed if someone used words incorrectly (our company is from different countries). This place is not worth your attention, I recommend looking for another place.

Taste is debatable. However, you should know that the chefs can only do what is on the menu. E.g. Pizza rolls with salami are not possible. In addition, the drinks (Cola, Spezi or Fanta) are non-carbonated, and despite our advice, lame drinks were brought again. Sad especially at these prices.

Waited longer than 30 minutes for a cyclist. And if you complain three times, you get banned from the house! I've been treated better in other places.

Quite a large restaurant, spread over several floors. Seems very cozy due to the many seating areas. Additionally a large outdoor area. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and quick. And that during the European Championship round of 16 football game Germany against Denmark. Absolutely recommended.

Unfortunately, the aposto got pretty bad over time. At first we really enjoyed coming, but the food has declined quite a bit over the last few years. The service is also very slow, sometimes quite unfriendly and our orders have taken a long time the last few times. Unfortunately, those were enough chances that we gave the restaurant.

Today, June 21st, 2024, we were here for the first time and not the last time, as "Pat" was the greatest waitress and served us very well. She came to us again and again and never left our wishes unfulfilled. Dear “Pat”, stay as you are. You deserve a very good place in this industry❤️‍🔥

One of the few restaurants in Karlsruhe city center where you can still get something to eat at 9 p.m. on weekdays. The map is impressive.

In any case, at least 100 people stood in line for 2-3 hours. An absolute dampener for the evening.

Large selection, food was good but not an experience. Service was friendly but seemed a bit confused and kept asking us twice.

We really enjoy being in the Aposto. After the renovation it became even more beautiful. The employees are always friendly and it's fun to be here. Pasta Napoli with burrata is simply my favorite :)

We were here for the first time and we are simply thrilled. Great ambience, very friendly service staff, very good prices for very good and tasty food. The ice cream is not to be sniffed at either. We each had a different spaghetti ice cream for dessert and each one was excellent. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Karlsruhe.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry at the current online ordering process offered. You can only order half of the dishes on offer online; the advertised pizza with two different halves cannot be ordered at all. Okay, so I tried to order by phone because I was hoping to be able to order the entire menu - none of it! Here you only get the information that you can only order online. So I filled out the online form again, with the options still available online (!), where I was then shown “not all of your selected options” are available. I'm really at a loss for words when it comes to a process like this, I've never experienced anything like it.

Phew, what a bad experience. We're sitting here in the hotel and there are flyers from the Aposto at the reception. The presentation is chic, the pizzas sound delicious, and it is advertised that the pizzas can also be ordered with “half-and-half” toppings. Great, for undecided people like us... There is an extra sheet in our flyer as an insert "the classics in the Aposto". Great, because some pizzas are too special for me. I just want a Tonno. The classics are not available here... 🤦‍♂️ Incomprehensible. In the time I spent on this order, I would have had my pizza in front of me long ago. The competition was happy about the additional order... 🤷

I just always like being there, the food is great, the service is super friendly and I love the atmosphere outside in the summer.

We weren't taken. The staff is extremely overwhelmed, my tip is to write more staff for 520 euros on a basic or part-time basis.

Unfortunately, only the non-existent service could be evaluated. Sunday 5/5/24 3 p.m. Were ignored for about 10 minutes, guests were served exactly at the moment they sat down after us. Instead of serving us afterwards or bringing us a menu, tables were cleared away. The clientele was very manageable at this point. We won't be coming back and will recommend the whole establishment accordingly.

I was here with my 4 year old daughter. There is a nice play area, the food came very quickly, was tasty and really cheap at lunch. All around a lovely experience.

There were half the hall empty. But the waitress seated us at the most uncomfortable table in the aisle. We ordered fried Roastbeef, they brought it undercooked, with blood.

Salt and pepper simply belong on the table! A watery beef carpaccio is replaced by the huge black ones Portobello mushroom slats are no better either. The average pizza was bland... The waiter was friendly as always. The exuberant atmosphere in the attached kindergarten contributed to the 2 stars for the ambience.

The food is good, unfortunately the cocktails are not at all! Hence only the 3 stars!

Was there for a cocktail on Friday evening. Very nice atmosphere and despite it being full, I and my companion were served quickly. At a late hour we were asked to sit at any free table inside the restaurant. Not only was there great music playing inside, but there was also a fun, relaxed atmosphere, so much so that a couple actually got up from the table and just danced. In summary, it was so much fun that I would go again to see what it's like there during the day and try the food.

The aposto is quite fine. The positive thing was that not much else was possible on rainy Easter Monday. The service was friendly, but despite the lack of customers, it kept you waiting for a long time, didn't take the dishes away independently and made many other small mistakes. It's not all that bad. It didn't matter to me, nor did it matter to my companion. The food itself was good, although a little carelessly prepared.

The Aposto in Karlsruhe is okay if you're in the mood for Italian food, but it doesn't blow your mind. The location is pretty cool, in the middle of the city, so easy to get to. The atmosphere is also quite nice, feels a bit like a vacation in Italy. But here's the thing: food is such a thing. It tastes good, but somehow you expect more, especially given the prices. The pizza is large and the toppings are okay, but somehow that certain something is missing. Pasta was okay too, but nothing I would necessarily go back for now. The service is friendly, no question, but sometimes it just takes too long for someone to notice that you want to order something or need the bill. So if you have time and patience, no problem. In short: Aposto is nice for a relaxed evening with friends if you don't have too high expectations. But if you're really hungry or want something special, I might look elsewhere. 3 out of 5 stars because it's not bad, but it has room for improvement.

I often come here whether for lunch in the evening or at the weekend. Servoce is attentive, nice and friendly, and the bartender is particularly attentive, Sacharias. We like coming here.

The restaurant is spread over 4 floors, each floor is designed differently, very tasteful and cozy. You enjoy spending time here 😊The service staff are friendly and attentive and you are served quickly. The restaurant is always busy, especially on Friday evenings and weekends. This makes it very loud and makes it difficult to have a conversation ☺️ That's the only thing I would "complain" about, although that's not a real criticism...it just shows that the R. is very popular 😍😊

Vodkabull is listed on the menu under cocktails for an absolutely overpriced €10.90 (!) - but the waitress refuses to charge the promotional price of €7.90 for 'cocktails'.

Truffle pasta very peppery. Not necessarily bad, but it's a shame that the truffle flavor was lost. Pizza base was very chewy. No significant amounts of alcohol in the cocktails.

The new menu is unusual and approachable, as there are not just run-of-the-mill choices (e.g. pizza with burrata or pulled pork). A big plus point: a spacious play area for (small) children.

An excellent restaurant, we wandered in there spontaneously and were very pleased. The restaurant is huge, open kitchen, many cozy corners. Excellent dessert, excellent coffee. A very nice boy waiter. Cool place. I recommend it warmly.

Big reservation made for 18 people (2 months ago) and then you get there the shop is closed.... Due to renovation.... Big cinema... Thank you for letting me know and thank you for accepting the reservation.. .. Very unprofessional... We will never come to you again

Our experience at Aposto was horrific. The staff treated us extremely rude and disrespectful. Instead of valuing us as paying customers, we were treated condescendingly. The atmosphere was gloomy and unpleasant and the food was a disappointment. We felt completely unwelcome and will never set foot in this restaurant again. Absolutely disgusting and not recommended.

Great restaurant, we had our Christmas party there and also said goodbye to a dear colleague. It's currently being remodeled and I'm really excited to see what it will look like!
