We often come here for lunch. It's very good value for money. It's advisable to arrive early, as it gets busy quickly after 12 p.m.

Super delicious food – always fresh and well-chosen ingredients. You can definitely tell! The prices are very reasonable, in my opinion. Otherwise, super friendly staff and a cozy restaurant. There just seems to be some kind of problem with the lights in the "winter garden" – they're constantly flickering, which is a bit annoying... hopefully just a temporary issue :)

Pretty nice place for simple but delicious creations. I had the chanterelle pastaa and it was perfect.

We were there for dinner on Saturday, August 23, 2025. The ambiance was good, but it was very loud. The food was of very good quality, but the 'Fettucine al Salmone' was extremely spicy, which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu, making it inedible for my girlfriend. The final blow, however, was a very pushy waiter who really dampened the mood of our visit. Not only were the jokes inappropriate, which can vary from person to person, but he also made countless additional recommendations for the dishes we ordered, all of which we apparently had to decline, otherwise we would receive the dishes or drinks he suggested – in our case, it was a pilsner, which we never ordered. Although it was taken back, his pushy behavior had a very negative impact on our impression of the Borsalino, and we probably won't be returning.

We've been here many times and have never been disappointed. Whether it's pizza, pasta, or fish or meat dishes, everything has always tasted good. The staff is pleasant, friendly, and exudes Italian charm. We always enjoy coming back.

Great service, perfect taste, and the pizza base is even better than in Italy. It's not so thin that the pizza sags, but it also doesn't turn the pizza into bread, which is typically German, because it's so thick and ruins the taste. I had read the other reviews beforehand, and I have to say about the negative ones that people should get away from the tourist hotspots on vacation and go somewhere that's open in winter, because Italians eat there too. It's no wonder, when you're only used to German recipes for Italian dishes and the service is awful, and therefore not the authentic Italian experience.

I'm not a big fan of the Borsalino in Durlach. I think the ambiance is okay, the service is OK, and the pizzas are good, but not great. It's fine for lunch.

Good food. We had a very good starter with very fresh mozzarella, a very good fish platter, and dessert was homemade tiramisu. 👌 Parking is also very easy. I highly recommend it. 👍

At Borsalino, you can get super delicious pizza; the dough is not only crispy, but also fluffy and tastes absolutely fantastic. There were five of us and we had the Ferrari pizza, pizza bread, pizza with ham and arugula, an octopus dish, and a truffle pasta dish. The pasta dish, mixed in a giant wheel of cheese, was a sensational highlight 🤩 The portions are exceptionally large for the price; you'll definitely be full. The service was excellent, with a waiter who smiled and was witty 😄 The food didn't take long either... I think maybe 20-25 minutes... but I can't remember exactly; when you're having a conversation, you don't notice. The space is very bright and open. Accessibility by train, on foot, or by car is fine. It's about an 8-minute walk from the train station. Parking is available on the street in front of the restaurant. We were there on Saturday at 12 noon, and there were still a few seats available. It's also great for a first date 😄 but also great for family or business lunches. Highly recommended in any case. I've been there several times. Enjoy! 😊

Very friendly, competent service, very child-friendly. Waiting times were good. The food selection is really good and there is a changing daily menu. The slightly salty pizza dough is great.

Unfortunately, if you order something you only get a third, e.g. lasagne, not even half the full portion, and far too little bacon on the tarte flambée, instead only onion, it comes across as if they have to save money everywhere, price performance is not okay:(

I was in a large group. At first the waitress really wanted to wait until everyone was there - and so it took about 40 minutes before we could even order and the starters arrived, even though many of us were sitting there very hungry and asked several times to start with the pre-ordered(!) starters. Then many guests were ignored by the waiters - apparently they only came to the table "as planned" and not after request. The food was so-so - very oily, with lasagne not much meat in it. Too bad.

Everything was great, food, service, etc. I only miss one thing very badly - I used to have Italian ice cream as a dessert - and now I don't anymore - it's a shame, it's a shame!!!

Ambience is good, food was generally below average. The salad didn't make the freshest impression to me. The meat was also nothing special for my taste. I would recommend just eating pizza here. She looked pretty good.

Pizza and the other dishes were delicious. Personally, I found the ambience to be too big and too loud due to the many guests present. Service was quick and friendly. Closing at 10pm and you are then asked to leave.

The finest ingredients - the cheapest food is mixed together to make a tasteless meal - I haven't eaten so bad in a long time. The carpaccio starter was still half frozen, topped with a disgusting oily mixture instead of olive oil, and the parmesan was partly rubbery. The pizzas were not from the wood oven, not crispy and not fluffy. The waitress couldn't tell which vegetables are on the vegetarian pizza. The garlic and thyme sauce on the salmon was missing, the waiter wanted to argue with us that the garlic crumbs - ready from the jar - were the sauce, only the thyme was missing. There were 6 of us and everyone was very disappointed with the food because we knew Borsalino differently - tasty food, friendly service, very good ingredients and tasty olive oil - simply delicious. Yesterday - just disappointing and inedible food 🤮

When we go to an Italian restaurant, it's always Borsellino. We know what we like and you now know it too, great service, great ambience. You can also order something that isn't on the menu and it will be prepared with love. I would give it six stars. If it were possible, we can only recommend it, but without a reservation it will be difficult. 🌹🙏❤️🏆💯👌

Borsalino is again a good address!! Two years ago, I wouldn't have entered the restaurant. But now the old/new team is back at the start and there is nothing wrong with it. If you search hard, you will always find something.

Unfortunately, I know Borsalino differently. 1-2 years ago the whole thing tasted different. I think they changed the management and unfortunately so did the taste. I ordered a Ferrari pizza. I was supposed to have salsiccia and unfortunately I only got salami The service was fine so far, but when I asked where the salsiccia was, they said: This is dried salsiccia. Make up your own mind, but as an Italian, for me it's definitely not salsiccia but salami. Won't come here again. Very unfortunate...

Wir kamen um 24.00 ins Hotel und hatten noch riesigen Hunger. Obwohl die Küche eigentlich schon zu hatte, hat der Koch die leckerste Pasta aller Zeiten gezaubert. Dazu gab es super Cocktails!!! Vielen vielen Dank!!!! Das war ein unvergesslicher Abend

Unfortunately we had bad experiences this time. As an exception, I ordered a tarte flambée. Unfortunately, people here interpret a tarte flambée in their own way. You get a pizza with the appropriate toppings. When I asked, the waiter called this creation the “Italian tarte flambée.” I don't find it funny. I can't recommend it based on the taste either. Why don't they call it Alsatian style pizza? Then you don't create false expectations, because the term tarte flambée is wrong and misleading for the guest. The rest of the pizzas were otherwise good. At the end, the waiter unfortunately forgot our espresso order. After waiting 10 minutes and paying the food bill, I pointed out to the waiter that he had forgotten our espresso order. He just ignored it. On our next visit to Durlach we will go to another Italian restaurant.

The Spaghetti Aglio, Olio e Peperoncino were very tasty. There is a deduction for your benches. They should be reupholstered again (see photo).

What a 70s shop! very sad for Italy! Please always check the invoice as it seems to be common practice here to charge for products that were never ordered! Every Pakistani-Italian in KA is cheaper and better!

We have been very satisfied for years. The service is great and the pizza is great.

I ordered a salami/ham pizza and a tarte flambée here on the recommendation of a friend. Unfortunately there was hardly any toppings on the pizza (3 small slices of salami and 1 slice of ham and hardly any sauce) so the toppings were very sparse. The Colmar tarte flambée only had onions on it, unfortunately you had to look for bacon, and here too, the toppings were very sparse. The tarte flambée was also much too thick (same thickness as the pizza) We definitely won't be ordering anything from here again.

The ambience is great and the food is delicious. Since Agata & Guests were performing musically there on International Women's Day, we had a table reserved for the event. The event was free of charge. The music was good but too loud for a bar. A conversation was not possible. It's not much quieter in a club/disco. But this is a restaurant with normal operations. What struck me bitterly, however, was the fact that there was a two-class party that evening, if you would like to put it that way, which expressed itself in different menus. Guests who had reserved for the concert received a one-page DIN A4 menu with special dishes and prices for International Women's Day. When asked if there was another card, the answer was, no, not today. However, the normal menus were served at the next table. When I asked again about a different menu, I was given the friendly answer that these were only for regular guests and guests who had not reserved a table at Agata & Guests. Therefore we only had a small selection of dishes that tasted good but were overpriced. This leaves a very bitter aftertaste, especially because it was not pointed out to you beforehand! You can't win new regular guests this way, even if you like the ambience.

Borsalino war mein Lieblingsitaliener. Seit gestern Abend weiss ich das nicht mehr. Die Antipasti Vorspeise für 16,90 war ein halb gefüllter Teller und die Pizza eine mager belegte. So kann man jahrelange Gäste vertreiben. Sehr schade. Service war top.

Mir hat es bei unserem ersten Besuch hervorragend gefallen: ein schönes Ambiente, toller, freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service. Grosse Portionen. Einzig der Belag auf der Pizza könnte etwas üppiger ausfallen. Nichtsdestotrotz sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder. Preis Leistung passt.

Waren mit mehreren Leuten dort (inkl. Reservierung). Anfangs hat alles gut geklappt - Getränke, Bestellung usw. Ich hatte die Pizza mit Champignons, Schinken und Spiegelei. Hatte darauf hingewiesen, dass ich keine Champignons haben möchte. Wie es so kam, war es doch mit Champignons -ok, kann passieren - dann esse ich halt Champignons. Dann aber war auch eine Eierschale im Spiegelei auf der Pizza...gut - Eierschale weggemacht und Pizza gegessen. Die Pizza war in Ordnung, nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Beim Abräumen habe ich auf die Champignons und die Eierschale hingewiesen - mehr als ein Schulterzucken bekam ich aber nicht - wäre ein Espresso aufs Haus zu viel gewesen? Dann hätte ich erstmal keine Rezension geschrieben. Dann fing es an, dass es länger dauerte bis weitere Getränke da waren, Dessertkarte wurde gebracht. Danach, weit und breit niemand. 30 Minuten später wurde dann die Bestellung aufgenommen, danach gings wieder zügig. Alles in allem, hat alles zu lange gedauert. Dazu dann die Champignons und Eierschale verleitet mich dazu leider nicht mehr zu kommen. Da gibt es bessere Italiener in der Umgebung.

Nach meinen letzten zwei Besuchen bin ich leider nicht begeistert. Ambiente: Man fühlt sich wohl mit dem schönen Raumgefühl, das Restaurant ist gut erreichbar und es sind viele freie Parkplätze vorhanden. Einrichtung: Einige Sitzbänke sind abgewetzt und haben Löcher. Essen: Das Essen war teils lecker, teils nicht optimal. Pasta al Forno mit einem Gemisch aus Spaghetti-Resten und verschiedenen anderen Nudelsorten – das würde ich zu Hause nicht so machen. Preise: Die Gerichte auf der Tageskarte sind besonders teuer (Gemüse-Pizza 19.50 Euro); Crodino mit Prosecco stand nicht auf der Karte, wir bekamen dann kleine Gläser für jeweils 9 Euro (!). Ständige Versuche, noch Wasser und weitere Bestellungen einzusammeln. Daher insgesamt: es wäre besser, sich wieder auf die Qualität der Speisen zu konzentrieren und weniger auf „möglichst viel Umsatz pro Tisch zu erzielen“

Borsalino ist ein super Restaurant. Neben der leckeren Pasta mit Lachssahnesauce gibt's hier noch viele andere tolle Gerichte. Schöne Atmosphäre und freundliches Personal. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Grosser Raum in Teilsegmenten ermöglicht grössere Gruppen aber auch ein ungestörtes Essen zu zweit. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Interessante Speisekarte. Das Carpaccio di Manzo war leider etwas versalzen, wirkte nicht frisch. Und die verschiedenen Fische der Grigliata di Pesce kann man sorgfältiger, besser zubereiten. Das Tiramisu war sehr fein.
