As always at L'Osterias, the food is very good, but these days it's also very expensive, especially if it's just a pizza, and most are around €15 or more. However, they're huge. The service staff were very friendly, but taking our orders and serving the food took a long time. The atmosphere, especially the bar, is great.

Waitress was extremely slow. Food came very quickly again. Food didn't have much taste, other branches are better.

I came here with a colleague from L'osteria and was served by Mario, who was great. I'd love to go back. :)

It was my first time there and the service was great. The waiter was very friendly and attentive and checked several times to see if everything was okay. Unfortunately, you rarely see something like that these days, so I highly recommend it. 👍 Thank you!

This afternoon, I was at Osteria Karlsruhe-Zähringerstrasse. My Maccheroncini Colorati (according to the menu: Sugo di Pomodoro, grilled vegetables, onions, cherry tomatoes, basil) for €12.95 tasted okay. Unfortunately, the "grilled vegetables" in the tomato sauce were only two small pieces of eggplant, the size of a 1-euro coin. The cherry tomatoes also only came in pairs. The description of the pasta suggests significantly more vegetables.

The asparagus ravioli was delicious, as was the huge pizza. We had a salad and bruschetta for starters. Sarah took great care of us. We'd love to come back!

The dishes are delicious, but there are nuances. For example, in the salad there was half a rotten cherry tomato. We had to wait a long time for the order, and they brought one dessert instead of two.

Admittedly, the food was really excellent, an absolute highlight in terms of taste. Unfortunately, this positive impression was severely tarnished by a series of disappointing experiences. Right from the start we realized that the cheese we had been promised wasn't served to us. It was only when we asked again that this was submitted, with noticeable reluctance. Such an omission does not exactly show attentiveness or hospitality. The next mishap occurred when paying: we weren't given enough change. When we politely asked the waitress about it, she not only responded in a lack of insight, but also in a tone that was anything but customer-friendly. At that moment we felt neither welcome nor taken seriously. The unpleasant impression finally continued when I visited the women's toilet. One of the cabin doors was simply transparent, a serious lack of privacy. The other cabin, however, was pitch black as there was no light, making it almost impossible to use. As much as we were impressed by the food, we were also disappointed by the poor service. It's a shame about the potential that was wasted here due to poor support.

We weren't so happy this time. Compared to L'Osteria Göppingen, the food wasn't as good. Pizza a bit tasteless and the edge was buckled and black on one side. Service staff not all friendly.

Simply always delicious. Very friendly staff, but long waiting times today. 10 minutes until order was taken. Food came before drinks. Paper in the toilets to dry hands was empty.

Good food, but despite Pizza Rustica there was very little topping for me, unlike my friends. You can expect longer waiting times. Online reservations are a problem. No confirmation came. I called and said I should wait until Monday next week. Nothing came, I called again and confirmed that it was booked. Arrived with 10 of my work colleagues and said there was no booking available. Luckily it wasn't that full and we got the seats spontaneously. And the thing is the same thing a colleague had a few months ago.

The pizza was really great and really big for the basic price. However, we were offered burrata as a topping as if it were free, but were charged an additional 2x €5 = €10 per pizza without informing us. Charging two portions of topping at €5 each is simply cheeky.

L’Osteria Karlsruhe offers large portions, especially the pizza, and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was friendly and the price-performance ratio was good.

Another lovely visit to L’Osteria. As always, the team was very friendly and attentive, you felt like you were in good hands. The food was delicious and fresh - it's nice that the quality remains consistently so good. I'm always happy to come by.

This restaurant is a short walk from our Hotel and we enjoyed a family dinner here, we all had half a pizza which was huge! Was really helpful that they had an English menu.

On Friday evening I was at L’Osteria. The restaurant was quite busy, which speaks to its popularity. We received a friendly welcome and the staff were always nice and attentive - high praise for that. However, the waiting time for our food was unfortunately far too long at 50 minutes for two pizzas. In addition, one of the pizzas arrived cold, which spoiled the overall impression. I would have expected more from a well-known restaurant with a good reputation - especially in terms of the organization in the kitchen.

I was there today with my girlfriend and it was really nice, the food was really delicious, the atmosphere was also great and especially our waitress Lili was very, very nice and casual. Really worth it!

We were there on a Sunday evening, the restaurant was already relatively busy, we were served in a friendly manner by dear Lili, our drinks arrived quickly, as did the food even though it was full, we were repeatedly asked by Lili whether everything was right for us. I can only recommend the Losteria to everyone here, super friendly service, great food and great waiting time.

We were there on a Sunday evening - the restaurant was busy, but we were still warmly welcomed by the lovely Lili. The drinks came quickly, the food was delicious and everything ran smoothly. Lili was very attentive and regularly asked whether everything was okay. top service!

You have to wait forever to pay. If you don't tip for a job well done, you'll get a stupid comment from the waiter as to why you don't tip at least 15 cents. You then get the change thrown onto your plate. Food was good so far. Service is awesome!

Went to L'Osteria recently and ordered the Salsiccia Piccante pizza. Unfortunately, we had to wait quite a long time for our pizza - which was a bit disappointing for a dish that was supposed to be quick. When I asked politely if the pizza could be cut, the employee did, but it looked more like a round of Fruit Ninja than a clean cut. The pizza itself tasted really good – nice and spicy, with a pleasant spiciness. However, the filling was quite sparse, and we would have expected a little more, especially with a pizza with salsiccia. The fresh basil, which is actually included on the menu, was also completely missing. Conclusion: Good pizza, but with room for improvement – ​​both in terms of service and attention to detail.

Ketan Is the best bartender 👌 Friendly and quick service

Even 1 star is too much, service is very bad. Sunday at 8 p.m. there was only pizza, not even starters. After going back and forth twice, I found out that there was only pizza. The waitress had no information whatsoever. Very bad service.

There was an action here: Voucher for a good review (before you had eaten). This is extremely problematic legally and distorts competition. I don't think it's good. But food was OK.

Not recommended at all. You have to wait a long time until you can order, until the food comes and also to pay. The restaurant was not at full capacity. The pizzas were only half full. Half of the service staff preferred to chat regularly with each other while the other half rushed from one table to the other. The food was moved from table to table several times until the table for which the food was intended was eventually identified. At some point when the drinks were served, people called out loudly and asked who ordered them (table numbering would be recommended here). Overall, a very disappointing evening, although the pizza tasted ok.

I actually love the Osteria, but I thought it was a shame that the Osteria in the city center was always so full and always so hectic and uncomfortable. That's why I'm even more pleased that this is NOT happening here on Durchlacher Allee. So far the service has always been top! Very accommodating and lovely. Food even better than in the city center 😃 and generally great atmosphere. But of course the best thing is the soap in the toilet. Rarely found such a good-smelling soap in a restaurant. 5 stars from me! Thank you ❤️

It’s the classic lostaria experience. If you like Italian food , you will like it here. It seems prices are a bit expensive when you first look but the portions are very plenty. It’s just too noisy when there are many people. Some sound insulations would be very beneficial.

I ordered a lasagna. I was so disappointed that I could almost cry. For around €13 you get a mini portion and that is an absolute rip off! In addition, the base of the lasagna was caked on and so I had even less of the lasagna. The taste was ok. I wish after this disappointment I could get my money back. Update: Date: April 26, 2025 Today I went here for pizza. It was super tasty, but the lasagne still traumatizes me. I'll keep you updated.

I ate here last week and the food tasted really good. Especially the pizza with its generous size for a fair price. I think it's usually common for people to like to take something away given the size of the pizza, so this shouldn't be anything new for the service... I wanted to take my pizza (a little less than half) with me and the gentleman also said that it wasn't a problem and that he would pack it for me. I waited several minutes and had already paid. But when I had to wait another 15 minutes for my packed pizza, I thought I'd ask if he hadn't forgotten it. I asked very politely because I also work in service myself, so I wasn't angry with him. However, a very stupid answer came back that he must have accidentally thrown it away. (Very annoying when I paid the entire price) So I asked what I could do now. He just cheekily said he could look in the trash and get them out of the trash for me, I didn't even get an apology, let alone a goodbye or have a nice day. Very unfriendly service despite the good tip I gave him beforehand. I'm more than disappointed and annoyed, normally friendliness should come first.

Prima gegeten, maar niet bijzonder. Niet de kwaliteit, niet de gerechten. Mooi modern restaurant, niet typisch Italiaans. Druk en erg veel lawaai. Heel vriendelijk en goed personeel. Carpaccio wat waterig, pizza had wat meer smaak mogen hebben en wat royaler belegd. Pizza’s zijn dunner en iets groter dan normaal.

The table reservation for our large group worked wonderfully. The food was great, everyone enjoyed it. Lili is great, a really nice and friendly service. Unfortunately the music was way too loud. We hardly had a chance to have a “normal” conversation. For our older people in the group with hearing aids, this was terrible. That could be reconsidered. Hence the star deduction for the ambience.

The waiter who served us was moderately motivated, in contrast to the others who served there, who were very friendly and accommodating. Therefore, unfortunately, 2 stars deducted for the service, but I don't think you can generalize that because the other person who served there (unfortunately not us) seemed pretty friendly. You can definitely go there again.
