The staff here at L'Osteria are incredibly friendly. (Thanks to Eric!) The pizzas here are truly huge and delicious! The atmosphere is typically Italian (with the perfect music). Overall, a great place for a relaxing evening with friends or family. If you love pizza, you'll definitely get your money's worth here!

We spontaneously stopped by L'Osteria in Karlsruhe today and got a great seat. Our waitress, Emina, served us very friendly and quickly. The pizza was truly delicious and fresh, with great toppings, and simply perfect! We especially appreciated the regular check-ins to see if everything was okay. You can tell that they really care about making their guests feel comfortable. Manager Erik even introduced himself personally – a truly great team! We'd love to come back – highly recommended!

I was at Lusteria yesterday and was served by Eric. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. You could immediately tell he's passionate about his job. The service was quick, his smile was genuine, and he created a very pleasant atmosphere.

My visit to L'Osteria was a very pleasant experience. I really enjoyed the food, and I can especially recommend the drinks. The service was very good; I got my food quickly, and the waiters were all very friendly and polite. I also really liked the ambiance; it's a very nice restaurant. You feel like you're in Italy. I highly recommend it.

Bad service! We've been waiting for 40 minutes and no one's here yet! This is unacceptable. My Italian heart is bleeding. As a prince from Mongolia, I'm not going to make them wait. It's just plain rude. My Afghan uncle is already crying because he can't get a pizza.

We like going to L'Osteria, but today was our first visit to the Karlsruhe restaurant—and also our last. The food was good, as usual, but the service was abysmal. Drinks didn't arrive until 20 minutes after ordering, and the ice in the glass for the iced tea had already completely melted. Then a pizza was delivered completely wrong because the waiter couldn't understand the order correctly due to the loud music in the restaurant. And that's the second major negative point. The music was so loud that conversation at the table was almost impossible. At every table, people had to shout to even hear each other. I expect that from a harbor bar, but not from a restaurant.

Pizza is fine - very big size but little flavor. Most Germans who don't have good taste will love this place.

Arrived at 10:10 p.m. while the restaurant was still open. Refused to welcome us. The time indicated does not match the one announced on the website (11 p.m.)

It's fantastic here. The outdoor seating is great, the pizza is amazing, and the service is good too. I highly recommend it. The drinks are great, too. The value for money is excellent. Eating out is more expensive at home.

I went to L'Osteria Karlsruhe yesterday, and unfortunately, it was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The waitress was extremely unfriendly right from the start. While we were ordering drinks, she just kept walking and didn't take our order in full. When she came back, we got the wrong drinks, too. The same thing happened with the food: We ordered a pizza with tuna and corn, but instead, we were served tuna, onions, and corn. My carbonara came with it – completely watery, tasteless, and definitely not what you'd expect. We even found a hair on the pizza. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait over half an hour for the bill. I finally went to the waitress myself to pay. The bill came to €55.60. I gave €60, but they couldn't or wouldn't give me change. When I complained about all the problems, the only response I received was that I should just "come to their area" next time. Unfriendly service, incorrect food, unsanitary conditions, and in the end, not even a proper payment – ​​in my opinion, an absolute disgrace! I will definitely never visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to anyone.

I ate at Losteria today and was served by such a warm-hearted lady named Alisa! I felt so well looked after. She had a wonderful charisma, and she immediately noticed when we needed something without us even having to ask. Thanks to the wonderful team! Please, more people like her. We'll be back.

I went there with my girlfriend today and had a delicious meal in a great atmosphere. The service was also excellent. We had a wonderful waitress (Alisa), who was super nice and very attentive! We'd be happy to go back.

The food is delicious, but unfortunately, you almost have to beg to be allowed to order something else. A waitress who wasn't assigned to our table simply ignored us and didn't tell her colleagues that we wanted to order something else. We then had to wait forever until we found another waiter to ask. Extremely poor service. Almost no waiter bothers to ask anymore. I always wonder why anyone would work in the service industry if they don't want to serve people.

Very good food, as you would expect, and friendly service. The pizzas are freshly prepared, as always, and the drinks, especially the house sodas, are very tasty. The prices are also very reasonable. When it's busy, however, it can be quite noisy inside; the outdoor area is more pleasant. This area surrounds the restaurant and is a pleasant place to linger. However, you should reserve a table during peak times to avoid long waits.

I was very disappointed after my last visit. I was there with my family and we were looking forward to an ordinary delicious pizza. After a 30 minute wait, a cold pizza was served. The child was already hungry. I took the pizza back. A few minutes later the waitress came back with the same pizza, which they had reheated. I thought I was seeing things. It didn't taste right and was also ridiculous. Instead of an apology or a solution, the waitress yelled at us. I found it an outrageous situation. If my child hadn't been so hungry, I would have gotten up and left. What a shame, it was probably my last visit there, the service and food quality have declined considerably.

The service could have been better. It all felt a bit rushed, and a lot went wrong. The main courses arrived at the same time as the appetizers, we also had to wait a very long time for our food and drinks, and it was quite warm inside, which they did nothing to address. Too many dishes arrived, and the staff acted as if it was our fault, which made us feel completely out of place.

We ordered through Lieferando. The delivery time was stated as 30 to 50 minutes. After 1.5 hours, it finally arrived; the driver said it was up to the restaurant. You can also see in the app when the driver is on site. Then something was missing, so I tried to call because I was in the hospital with my child and couldn't leave to clarify the matter. Fifteen calls to three different numbers I found went unanswered. The friendly driver went back to clarify the matter at the restaurant, thanks for that. I'm very disappointed; service has generally been better. But I don't understand why you can't reach anyone or why someone on site checks the outgoing orders...or is this a scam, based on other reviews? We'll see if the driver gets anything done; I assume L'Osteria is being stubborn about this.

We came to L'Osteria today as a family. Grandparents, my husband, our 2-year-old, and I. We wanted to enjoy a relaxed early dinner as a family... unfortunately, this ended in complete stress for all of us. We ordered three appetizers and main courses. We had barely started on the appetizers when the main courses were suddenly brought. When the waitress pointed out that we would like to finish our food first and that there was no room at the table anyway, she just snapped at us in a completely unintelligible way and placed more plates on the table. When a second waitress placed a piping hot plate on my son's hand, the evening was ruined. Without an apology or any reaction, she simply took the pizza away from us. We then had to stack our empty plates at the table. I am extremely disappointed by this approach and would not have expected it!

Unfortunately, a very disappointing visit. I was treated extremely rudely by a slim, blonde employee with shoulder-length hair. During the conversation, she simply turned away without answering, and her gaze gave the impression that she wasn't taking me seriously or was even smiling at me. Such disrespectful behavior is completely unacceptable for a restaurant that should strive to be customer-friendly. This is a violation of Section 241, Paragraph 2 of the German Civil Code (BGB), which regulates the duty of consideration in a contractual relationship—in this case, between guest and service provider. I hope that management takes such incidents seriously and ensures more professional service. I won't be visiting this branch again anytime soon.

I was at L'Osteria again, and as always: great food, great atmosphere, and then Alisa arrived. Friendly, fast, charming... and with a look that immediately made it clear: "Just tell me you want the large pizza, I already know."

A disappointing visit, as we haven't been here in a long time. We had to search for the toppings on the large, but very thin pizza. The entire staff is extremely bored; they don't care about customer service. I had almost finished my pizza when, after my husband asked about his order, it finally arrived. Meanwhile, guests who arrived after us and delivery orders had been served in batches. We paid and had the delayed pizza brought to us. We won't be coming here again; there's enough competition in this area.

I received a wonderful tiramisu for my birthday.

Absolutely terrible service. The team clears everything away when it rains, but the team doesn't care if the guests get wet. It took forever for us to finally pay, and unfortunately, I can't give zero stars for service.

We waited half an hour for our pizzas, and then we had to wait another half hour just to pay. I tried to get the waitress's attention twice with hand signals, but she yelled at me and said she was only in charge of the inside tables. I don't understand why she brought the pizzas outside in the first place. I've never experienced such rude behavior. I will definitely never visit this restaurant again—not even walk past it.

Stopped here für lunch while visiting a friend. The service was good and the menu was great. Pizzas are larger than the plate. I see why many people ordered half. It's thin, though, so you might be able to eat the whole thing. I was able to share a couple of slices with her. It was very good.

The food was delicious. The pizzas are enormous. It was a great idea to include a half-and-half option on the menu. So we both got half a pizza, which was more than enough. The sauces were divinely delicious to go with the pizza crusts. A huge success.
