The ambiance and food were top-notch. The service could be a bit friendlier; we felt a bit rushed. But we wouldn't necessarily go back; there are nicer and more authentic Italian restaurants in Karlsruhe.

I recommend it with a clear conscience, it was good and the portions were the right size. Nice atmosphere in the place. The place is child-friendly, the portions are right for them

The food and service were good, although the restaurant was very busy. Even dogs are welcome. There is a two star deduction because you can't understand your own words because of the large number of people.

Huge pizzas, dough but not that special and staff quite stressed

My wife and I decided to visit L'Osteria for dinner and were very happy with this decision. First impressions: The place was packed (it was cold outside, so everyone was obviously inside) but, thanks to our reservations, we had a table. The Decor was basic but pleasant, the staff was very friendly. It was a bit loud (the place was packed after all) but not too loud, so we could still have a conversation. Food: The food was excellent, the portions were large and definitely worth the price. Conclusion: definitely going to visit this place again :)

Orders for pickup are NEVER ready on time. Often over 30 minutes late.

Everything is great. There have been one or two staff changes and the current team is friendly and attentive. I've been a guest here for a long time and always enjoy coming back.

One of my favorite European chain restaurants since the mid-2000s. The pasta and fresh bread are tasty. This was my first visit to this one. The pizzas are insane in size but delicious. I'm glad to see the restaurant is still as good as the first time. This one did not disappoint. The pistachios at the bar are a nice touch. The place was crowded when I went but the staff was still friendly helpful and attentive. I can't recommend it enough.

I like the food and the location is great. Unfortunately, there are also deductions for the service here. The employees are very uncoordinated and you can tell that they are only temporary workers. But all in all it's always very nice. Time takes me.

It's a nice and cozy place. The food tastes great and gives good vibes. But it can get crowded and getting a table can be bothersome. And it might take a long time to get your food too. Try out their pizzas, they are pretty big and are delicious.

My friends and I spontaneously decided to eat at L’Osteria Restaurant today because we were very satisfied last time. Unfortunately, our visit today was anything but pleasant. Our waiter (long black hair with a braid, short beard, tall) seemed listless from the first contact. When a friend ordered her pizza with vegan cheese, he had a strange, dissatisfied look on his face. At that moment it was already clear to me what we had to prepare for. After taking our orders, he walked away just as unmotivated and set our table with an annoyed look. The food was excellent as always! When we asked the same waiter to pack up our leftovers (three pizzas), he took the plates and touched the pizzas directly with his hands - a total no-go for me! When he returned he only brought us two boxes. At that moment I already thought to myself that this waiter obviously wasn't competent enough to understand that the three of us didn't live in the same household. In addition, the pizzas were simply put together, which meant that the BBQ pizza was mixed with another - completely incomprehensible to me! I didn't speak to him about it. I deliberately didn't leave a tip when paying. Normally I'm happy to tip for friendly service, but today I didn't see the need for it. The waiter didn't seem to like that at all - he made a face and simply ran away. We weren't asked if we wanted a receipt, nor were we asked before paying if everything was OK. There was also no friendly farewell greeting. Unfortunately, we won't be visiting the restaurant again for the time being - despite the great food and the lovely atmosphere.

I went here for lunch with a friend and it was really perfect, the food was served quickly, was large and very tasty. The service was very friendly and served us well. Ps. Erik thanks for the good experience

We reserved a table yesterday for my husband's birthday. When we were there we discovered that the restaurant was closed due to water damage. It's no one's fault if something like this happens, but information by email would have been nice and is appropriate for me. We had a journey of over half an hour. Luckily we got a place in the other branch, otherwise it would have been very annoying.

The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was perfectly seasoned, beautifully presented and simply a delight. You can tell that there is a lot of attention to detail here. The ambience is equally impressive: stylish, modern and very comfortable at the same time. It's the perfect place to spend a relaxing evening. A special highlight was Erik's service. He was incredibly friendly, attentive and always had a smile on his face. His recommendations were fantastic and you felt very welcome from the moment you arrived. All in all a wonderful experience - I'll definitely be back!

Today we were at the Hirsch Reisen information day, which took place at the IHK. We used the break to go to the Osteria again. As expected, it was very crowded and the noise level was very high. If that wasn't enough, the background music was at maximum volume. We asked our waitress if we could turn down the music a little, but unfortunately she didn't tell us. Unfortunately, during our irregular visits, we generally notice that the employees have one thing in common: they don't feel like doing their job and they let the guest feel it. The young man at the next table paid by card and gave his tip in cash. The service employee didn't say thank you, instead she rolled her eyes. That doesn't work at all. Now about the food. It tastes no better and no worse than most Italians who focus on quantity instead of quality. We ate spaghetti ragu and spaghetti carbonara, which cost just under 15 euros each. We don't know how much the water cost because we didn't get a receipt. We happily skipped dessert or espresso because we just wanted to get out. Fortunately, there are plenty of other restaurants in Karlsruhe that are happy to serve their guests.

CAN YOU ALLOW THAT TODAY? This almost borders on fraud: I paid by card. The cash register system made a mistake because the amount was debited twice. I was assured on site that this would be sorted out quickly. Now I've been waiting for the refund for over (!) 3 weeks. Email to GL remained unanswered. The employee who made this mistake gave me her phone number, but kept putting me off. CAUTION: Totally dubious business conduct!

I like going to L’Osteria, the food is good, except that the carbonara isn’t really carbonara. In addition, L’Osteria seems to have a staff shortage. It sometimes takes a long time to be served and things are often simply forgotten. Sometimes the bread is missing with the salad, sometimes you ask for pepper and have to get it yourself, sometimes the cheese is missing with the pasta and so on. However, if only one person operates half the store, it's no wonder. I can't judge whether it's due to saving staff or a lack of staff. Waiting 20-50 minutes for your first beer is not okay. It's particularly difficult when choosing a tip because the waitress or waiter can't help it that you serve all the tables alone
