L'Osteria Karlsruhe in Karlsruhe

I like going to L’Osteria, the food is good, except that the carbonara isn’t really carbonara. In addition, L’Osteria seems to have a staff shortage. It sometimes takes a long time to be served and things are often simply forgotten. Sometimes the bread is missing with the salad, sometimes you ask for pepper and have to get it yourself, sometimes the cheese is missing with the pasta and so on. However, if only one person operates half the store, it's no wonder. I can't judge whether it's due to saving staff or a lack of staff. Waiting 20-50 minutes for your first beer is not okay. It's particularly difficult when choosing a tip because the waitress or waiter can't help it that you serve all the tables alone

CAN YOU ALLOW THAT TODAY? This almost borders on fraud: I paid by card. The cash register system made a mistake because the amount was debited twice. I was assured on site that this would be sorted out quickly. Now I've been waiting for the refund for over (!) 3 weeks. Email to GL remained unanswered. The employee who made this mistake gave me her phone number, but kept putting me off. CAUTION: Totally dubious business conduct!

Great ambience, food was great. The portion size exceeds expectations. The waitress named Eric was very accommodating and took good care of you. Be it choosing the wine or asking if you would like to reorder something. Extremely satisfied and recommended.

I went to L’Osteria with friends and we had a great evening! The food was really tasty – the pizza is really huge and tastes fantastic. But the highlight of the evening was definitely our waiter Eric. He was extremely friendly, attentive and always had a smile on his face. He really sweetened our evening with his excellent service. L’osteria is an absolute must for all lovers of Italian cuisine! The homemade pasta dishes were amazing, and the pizza tasted like it had come straight from an oven in Naples. Eric's service was courteous and created a pleasant atmosphere. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Carbonara consists of spaghetti with cream and bacon. Almost no taste. Had to season with lots of salt and pepper. Unfortunately we ordered 3 times. It's really annoying given the price. In Offenburg at Losteria it tastes much better. I thought everything was made using the same recipe.

I often come here with a friend. Most of the time the choice falls on pizza, simply because it is always great. It extends over the edge of the plate by at least 3cm, so you should be hungry. Bottom nice and crispy, well topped, fantastic. As a starter, Vitello Tonnato, very tasty. Finish with a good espresso. Service is good and friendly, our waiter had the 20 after 4 rule explained to us yesterday just for fun ;-). Definitely coming back!

I was at L'Osteria today and can only report positive things! From the first moment I felt welcome. The ambience is lively and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or family. The menu offers a great selection of Italian dishes, and I particularly loved the huge pizza! The dough was perfectly thin and crispy, and the fresh ingredients made every bite a delight. The service was attentive and quick without being intrusive. Our waitress (Blerina) was very friendly and professional.

My wife and I decided to visit L'Osteria for dinner and were very happy with this decision. First impressions: The placed was packed (it was cold outside, so everyone was obviously inside) but, thanks to our reservations, we had a table. The Decor was basic but pleasant, the staff was very friendly. It was a bit loud (the place was packed) but not too loud, so we could still have a conversation. Food: The food was excellent, the portions were large and definitely worth the price. Conclusion: definitely going to visit this place again :)

I was there for lunch on a Saturday a few weeks ago. When I arrived, the waiter Eric was very attentive and accommodating. This good service continued throughout the entire visit to the restaurant. The food was also delicious and served in the appropriate time frame. I enjoyed the whole visit. I will definitely go there again and can only recommend the restaurant and the service there.

It was cold, the whole ROOM everyone had their jackets on - the waitress played with her hair on a continuous loop by the kitchen and then served the food 👍

The food was very tasty and came quickly. The price-performance ratio is great and the service is very nice. All in all, I had a great experience and a lovely evening at L'Osteria Karlsruhe.

Price performance is really a 10/10, it couldn't be better. The pizzas are so big (45cm) that you could share them. They are also very tasty in terms of taste. Unfortunately, the restaurant is a bit noisy due to its size, but still cozy.

Even 1 star is too much, service is very bad. Sunday at 8 p.m. there was only pizza, not even starters. After going back and forth twice, I found out that there was only pizza. The waitress had no information whatsoever. Very bad service.

I ordered a lasagna. I was so disappointed that I could almost cry. For around €13 you get a mini portion and that is an absolute rip off! In addition, the base of the lasagna was caked on and so I had even less of the lasagna. The taste was ok. I wish after this disappointment I could get my money back.

Positive Nice ambience, nice service, good food Negative Tables that were too narrow, waiting times that were too long, which was not only the case with us but also at the neighboring tables around us. My "simple" leaf salad came when my partner was halfway through his gnocchi (with such promotions I would like to cancel the meal). I learned to send the food table by table so that every table gets the food at the same time and so everyone can eat together... I wanted the dressing extra and also said "not dressed" which was apparently received that way... but that's what happened marinated, then just ate it otherwise I might have had to wait forever again (too much dressing on the salad for me personally, so I prefer to make it myself) and with a bowl of extra dressing on the side... Bruschetta is listed as a starter on the menu came AFTER the main courses. Not understandable to me. After mentioning twice that you wanted to pay, the good lady came after waiting for what felt like 30 minutes. I like to give tips, I come from the catering industry myself and know the current situation of restaurateurs, but unfortunately I'm out of things like that too.

It was my birthday and the waiters sang for me. Bro even gave me cake. Just a chill guy. I kiss your eyes.

On New Year's Day, January 1st, 2025, we (wife, child and I) had dinner at L'Osteria. At first we were surprised that there were so few staff on duty. Nevertheless, we received great, comprehensive and prompt service from Florin. We thank you for the great and nice service. If we are in Karlsruhe again, we would like to come by again.

It was very tasty, service was great, food came straight away. Waiter Erik can only be recommended!!! Would come here again and again.

The food is always delicious here, and the salads are particularly recommended! :) What's particularly great is that you can have the pizza served half/half, so you can either share the pizza (without compromise) or try two pizzas. Feel free to come back again and again! :)

Price-performance fits. In winter you should be careful not to sit near the doors and windows, as it drafts and is cold in these places. The service is very nice.

The l'Osteria offers very good food and drinks at a top price-performance ratio in the heart of Karlsruhe city center. The atmosphere is relaxed and the service is attentive and courteous. All in all, a well-rounded affair. I'd love to come back.

Relaxed, good quality Italian dining within a bustling, vintage pizzeria style, ambiant setting. The pizza was lovely, I wasn't expecting such generous portion. I thought my keto trained pallette couldn't possibly finish it - how wrong was I! Crust was light and crispy with explosive richness of the superb marinara. Service was friendly and efficient. Definately returning.

Unfortunately we had to wait 1 hour and 10 minutes for a pizza today. This is absolutely unacceptable. Although the pizza was really tasty, the taste doesn't justify such a long wait. We would also like to note that the lamps next to the table for two opposite the bar were collecting dust.

Wir waren mit unseren Azubis zum Essen hier. Das Personal ist bemüht und freundlich, dennoch merkt man wie hilflos und planlos alle dort sind wenn mal etwas mehr los ist. Wir haben an die 45 min. Auf das Essen gewartet, das Essen wurde öfters verwechselt und ab und an hat man die Hilflosigkeit den Kellnern angesehen. Das kommt aber von schlechter Führung, denn auf ungelerntes Personal kann man schulen. Das Essen ist ok mehr aber auch nicht. Nochmal muss ich da nicht hin.

Mit 3 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern gegessen. Rechnung 160 €. Es kam für einen Erwachsenen Tortellino für 15€. Es waren 12 Stück. Das sah aus wie eine Vorspeise. Bei der Frage an den Ober, ob das normal sei, kam die kurze Antwort „Ja“. Das wars. Er kam dann später noch und meinte, die Pizza ist groß und die Pasta ist klein. Ich meinte zu ihm, dass eine gute Bedienung jetzt einfach noch ein paar Tortellino gebracht hätte, da ging er einfach. Wir durften auf die Rechnung dann noch 10 Minuten warten. Wir waren da immer gern, aber der Service hat deutlich abgebaut.

Leckeres Essen, Ambiente und sehr nette zuvorkommende Bedienung ( Eric). Gerne zu empfehlen kommt vorbei. Für Groß und Klein.

Location ist recht ansprechend aber der Schein trügt! Aber Qualität und Preise gehen eher in die negative Richtung Die Pizzen sind recht groß und überschreiten den Tellerdurchmesser Selten so eine schlechte Pizza gegessen Preise ähneln einer erstklassigen Gastronomie Einmal und nie wieder

Waren am Nachmittag in der L'Osteria essen. Die Bedienung war sehr nett - Renata. Essen war gut. Schön draußen gesessen.

Essen war prima, Pizza groß und gut belegt, Essen kam schnell. Aperol Maracuja ist sehr zu empfehlen. Lasagne jedoch ist nicht empfehlenswert, da der Geschmack fehlt. Reservieren ist auf jeden Fall wichtig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Schade ... hauchdünne Pizza 🍕 auf eiskaltem Teller serviert...somit Pizza eiskalt ... hätte warm bestimmt schmecken können...schade .. Personal war nett ...sofern er denn wusste wo vorn und hinten ist ....schade das die Verantwortlichen einfach zusehen U d nicht reagieren .. naja was soll's...waren das letzte Mal da ...
