I visit this restaurant every time I am in Karlsruhe. Every time the food is yummy!!

This business gave me the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. Apart from the tables being a little too close together, the ambience is sensational. Nice pleasant music in the background, great lights, beautifully designed walls and wonderful decoration The service was really nice and very helpful. The food came quickly and was super tasty. At first I thought there was far too little pasta, but since the plate was slowly emptying after minutes of eating, I take that back. Definitely coming back

If you have blood pressure, you can eat unsalted pasta. My grandmother wasn't Italian, but she did much better. We ordered tortellini alla panna and spaghetti, both were bad.

Ok, I have visited LA Strade many times over the 10 years I chose after my Military Service. Every time... It's different. Sometimes positively.. Sometimes negatively.. This time is was negative.. 😔😔. So we arrived in LA Strada around 15:05.. I'm a War Veteran and sitting in a Wheelchair. The entrance in not wheelchair friendly. This was mastered with help of my companion. From the service personnel we received no assistance. Only interested looks. Which we found very dissatisfying. Nevertheless we found a appropriate place to sit again without any assistance.. Only due to the fact that we hungry, we actually would have immediately left this restaurant.. So, we decided to try the daily menu. Which was the choice of Pizza🍕 or Pasta🍝.. This menu special I've had many times and we were 100% satisfied... But today, due to lack of assistance of a handicapped customer we finally seated. I personally in my wheelchair rolled to the front to request menu cards. Wow. 😔😔. We decided to for the special daily menu but waitress informed us that we were 10min late, and we would have to pay the full price. WTF!! The restaurant at 15uhr was completely empty. We were the only customers present. The only customers.. I found this to be completely unacceptable. This is by no way Customer Service. 0%😔😔 So, we decided to just simply order a pizza for two. One pizza... With two plates.. So simple we thought. The waitress was young and not well informed of the menu card. A simple question of whether the mushrooms were fresh or out of the glass jar.. She didn't know, sad.. So, at the we received our ordered pizza 🍕served but it was warm not hot from the oven.. I was deeply disappointed. I will never visit this restaurant again. Never. Everyone knows why La Strada is open until 5am... But that's a story for a different day Yours truly Johnson U. S I

The pastas were even good, although the Bolognese (15.5e) didn't have a very distinctive taste for me, and the carbonara (14e) was also tastier :) the dishes in the evening were a few euros more expensive than in the afternoon. Nice service;)

A good tartufo. But the price is quite high and the portion is small compared to other restaurants.

We were only served upon request, waited 20 minutes for the drinks and the starter was forgotten, there is nothing to say about the main course, only the pizza was ok. Pasta, lasagna, canelloni and scampi were nothing. Scampi cost more than our main courses if they at least tasted good.

Overpriced store. Schnitzel without fries for 18€!!!!! Just stay away!!! Small portion of fries €6.50

We went to La Strada for a farewell at the end of October. With 22 people at lunchtime there was no problem. We were all happy with the food (pizza, pasta).

So in itself the shed is solid but my delicious beer wasn't up to 0.5 points, fruit flies attacked us and the so-called main course was more of an expensive morsel. A little tip: order the daily specials. Otherwise the place was totally chilled 🤙🏻

The staff is friendly, the drink (Sprite) is served in a glass, without packaging, tasteless and absolutely not fresh. Calzone dough with no flavor filled with a few pieces of salami, after eating both me and my friend had stomach problems. All in all a disappointment

The staff is friendly, and the place is clean, but the quality of the food leaves much to be desired. One thing that bothered me is that they serve Coca-Cola in glasses—there are no cans or small bottles, and I’m not even sure it’s the original Coke. I saw them pouring it from a 2-liter bottle, and it was flat, with no fizz or bubbles. The food could also be improved. The calzone was dry, and the dough tasted more like plain bread. The Caprese chicken was served in a sauce that wasn’t quite right—it was just cream that needed more cooking. To make things worse, both my friend and I had serious stomach issues after the meal. Overall, the food quality could be much better, and the prices are quite high for what you get.

I ordered a Spaghetti La Strada the price is double last year 16€!! For half the spaghetti like last year, unfortunately it is also tasteless

We were a group of 7 people who wanted a drink, one of us wanted something to eat and the old waiter said in a very arrogant manner that it wasn't a food only bar. It was 3:30 a.m. and there were no other customers. What's the logic behind not accepting guests when he could get tips from us(?)

We ordered an Italian salad and a margherita pizza with garlic online. The ordering and payment went smoothly and the food was ready for pickup 20 minutes later. So far so good. However, the two dishes were hardly edible. The salad wasn't washed properly and still had sand residue everywhere and the house dressing was extremely thick and didn't taste like anything except garlic. The ham looked like it had been grown in a lab. The pizza wasn't any better. Even though we ordered them with garlic, a fraction of what was sprinkled on top would have been enough to achieve a pleasant garlic flavor. But garlic was definitely used here without rhyme or reason. Overall very disappointing and will definitely not be on our restaurant list again.

Went to La Strada in Karlsruhe Amalienstrasse for lunch today and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good but the service, ambience, location and prices are excellent. They have good selections of pasta and pizza for lunch. My meal cost around €10. For a main course with a large drink it is more than fair. Coming back to the service, it was very friendly, courteous and helpful. Keep it up and we will definitely come back.

Last Sunday we ate at the ristorante la strada and I want to congratulate the chef ZAKI excellent tartar is excellent pasta aglio e olio !! I highly recommend it.

I've never experienced anything like that. The waiter pushes people away. Disaster service. terrible. he doesn't feel like working. he is dissatisfied with his life. He smells, is unpleasant, has long hair on his sides and is bald on top. He argues with guests, he is aggressive at 1.60 m. wouldn't recommend it.

We were there shortly before 11 p.m., I ordered grilled turkey and assumed that there would be at least a small side dish (salad, etc.) given the hefty price of just under €18. When asked, I was told there was nothing here. I wanted to order fries with it, but at €8.5!!!! for a portion of fries, it almost took me out of the store. Sorry, but that's cheeky! The taste of the food was okay, but given the price I was hoping for more. Edit: Apparently they have higher prices in the evenings, which is pretty cheeky too!

Well, as an Italian, or rather from Puglia, I can say that it is the first time that we have managed to eat fish dishes cooked EXACTLY like in Italy. We took the seafood linguine, prepared with oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes, pepper, parsley and white wine! Even the seafood is selected!! We took the grilled prawns, you could feel that they were fresh (advice to the chef, reduce cooking time so as not to burn the garlic and dry out the prawn😆). Excellent assortment of sweets and bitters. We noticed the wine from Cantine due Palme and Tenute Frescobaldi. Overall, well done!!! We are grateful to have finally delighted and satisfied our palate. The service girl... very sweet and very attentive, good!

We were looking for where to eat when we went out at 11 p.m. and we made a great discovery! The dough for their pizza is super good, like fresh, soft bread. The prices are very reasonable and they are open late! We didn't have to wait very long, it was perfect!

We are visiting Karlsruhe again and, as always, wanted to eat at La Strada. Opening times confirmed by the company on Google 7 weeks ago, and there is no indication of closure for vacation on the homepage. Were standing in front of closed doors today. Thanks for nothing!

Good quality, big pizza and above all the kitchen is open late. Ideal for night owls.

I ordered tortellini there for €18.50, which is quite expensive, but I thought maybe it would taste really good. As you can see in the photo, there wasn't even any real cream/sauce inside, there was just oil at the bottom... a lot of oil... ham was absolutely horrible and far too few tortellinis for the price... The pizza that my friend ordered, which cost €17 or €18, was also quite expensive and was like a frozen pizza from the supermarket. Service there was very, very bad, the waiters didn't even come and ask if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. At the end, as usual, we were asked if we liked it, and we answered a clear no, the waiter was absolutely not interested. Of course, we didn't tip a cent when we paid and the waiter didn't even say goodbye or anything... Really a dirty shop, I wouldn't recommend it. (I think any fast food place is much better)

A well-designed restaurant that spreads a romantic flair in the city's jungle. The food and drink were also excellent and of good quality. The service was polite, quick and tactful. All in all great, definitely worth recommending.

A good Italian. I've been going to this restaurant for years. Everything from pizzas and pasta is good. The service is attentive but not intrusive and always very nice. Georgio the Italian in particular is quick, polite and always friendly. I feel in good hands with him. The menu is clear and varied.

My food was once again very, very good! I had pollo caprese with a side salad. Waiter Gregorio attaches great importance to making the guests feel comfortable and is very attentive. I ordered something and it took a long time for it to arrive and then the service was unfriendly and disrespectful, the food wasn't even right, it tasted old and the meat wasn't cooked through, so it's not a restaurant where you can go with your family!

Spaghetti (spaghetti pasta pasta) was OK but relatively expensive because there were only 3 shrimps on it, maybe 2 cherry tomatoes that were halved and a lot of arugula. Not recommended for just under 20 euros. The biggest disappointment was the caprese (tomato mozzarella) appetizer. A lot of tasteless, watered down, cheap tomatoes and not even half a cheap mozzarella, the ratio was absolutely not right. There was no balsamic vinegar on it and the olives that were supposed to be there according to the menu weren't there either. The foccacia bread that came with it was ok. 22 euros were charged for the worst tomato mozzarella starter of my life, afterwards I read on the internet at home that this starter should actually have cost 19.50 euros. Been there for the first time and never again.

Today we received first-class service from Marlena, as always. The food was simply great and the service was very accommodating. Only recommended!

Nice location, fresh meat and desserts in the fridge at the entrance - you'll get hungry straight away. The restaurant is divided into a normal large dining area and a smoking area separated by a sliding door. We ate pasta and it was very tasty. Really hot and very good. The food was at the table quickly. Price performance was more than satisfactory. We will come back, it is highly recommended here.

Not too expensive, a very Italian place inside. The staff is lovely and friendly. The food could be a bit better. It is not as authentic as it seems.

I wrote a complaint 5 years ago because we were thrown out an hour before the official closing time and once we weren't served because we just wanted a drink. Personal rights were allegedly violated during the recession, even though I didn't provide any names or descriptions of anyone from there. Well, recession deleted, were two stars. Now there's only one, because if you try to get better reviews on the rails, I don't want to support that.

As soon as the door was open we felt welcome. The Italian waiter was friendly and quick. The mussels were rich and flavorful. The pork steak was more of a schnitzel and 4 pieces of croquettes are not enough. The variety of what is on offer is rather questionable. We will be back.

Today at La Strada. Very beautiful and especially the younger one very respectful and nice. Come back next time!!!!

Zigarettenrauch selbst bei keine RaucherZone - im ganzen Restaurant - denn als ob es aus der Raucherbereich es belüftet wollte ist der angrenzende Tür weit offen. Für Nichtraucher ist echt eine Schande, denn das Essen ist gut, sowie Die Bedienung, doch so ist es völlig ungenießbar. Zigarettenraucher Bereich ist eine Sache. Kein Raucher Bereich ist eben die andere, aber nicht in diesem Restaurant.

The ambience of the restaurant is typically Italian, although you can tell that an artistically gifted hand was at work in the furnishings. Pizza Favolosa fatta da un vero pizzaiolo Ionut veramente strepitosa io consiglio vivamente questo ristorante perché non rimarrete delusi.Molto pulito curato e carino come locale anche la ragazza se non sbaglio polacca di nome Marlena molto brava educata e gentile.

Wir waren schon einige Male in diesem Restaurant und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war top die Pizza lecker und heiß. Dieses Mal lief allerdings einiges schief. Die bestellte Pizza für Euro 6 + 1,50 € mit Pilzen wurde mit Euro 14 berechnet und der Beilagensalat mit Euro fünf anstatt mit Euro 3,50. Der Salat wurde mit Essig Öl Dressing bestellt und mit Joghurt Dressing gebracht. Sehr schade.

Alles perfekt! Ich denke, dass die Kellnerin Marlena die Seele des Restaurants La Strada ist! Sehr nett und lächelnd, sie sorgt dafür, dass man jederzeit gerne wiederkommt 🤗 Auch Cătălin, der Besitzer des Lokals, verdient lobende Worte!
