Ich war da wir haben gegessen es ist kein gutes Restaurant es hat nicht geschmeckt und sah auch nicht wirklich gut aus und das Personal ist sehr unfreundlich

Finally, some Italian food! A real carbonara (without cream) and the risotto looked good and were very tasty. We were there in a larger group (more than 10 people). Nevertheless, the dishes arrived quickly and warm. We were given a sip of Prosecco beforehand and a "distributor" as a farewell gift. We would have liked to order more drinks, but somehow they only cleared the glasses. The staff didn't ask. But everyone was nice. The manager was apparently in a bad mood, which made the staff hectic at times. Maybe we'll go again in a smaller group. You can also sit outside in the back courtyard. It looked quaint.

We ate there today with a larger group. The ambiance is very nice, the food is good. The prices are on the higher side. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Empty glasses were constantly being cleared away, but at no point was anyone asked if we wanted another drink. I felt like they were trying to get rid of us. The manager stood at the bar wearing jeans and a t-shirt and bossed the staff around so loudly that the guests could hear her. In general, it was quite hectic.

Beautiful restaurant with an authentic atmosphere. Unfortunately, the waiter was so handsome that my date lost interest in me. But you can't blame her. The noodles were delicious.

We were tourists in Lübeck and reserved a table in the Da Luigi restaurant because of the many positive reviews. We were greeted with a glass of good Prosecco on the house. The food and the homemade tiramisu were a delight. The house wine (Primitivo) rounded everything off perfectly. The atmosphere, the competent, friendly and attentive nature of the employees, everything was really perfect and totally exceeded our expectations! The price-performance ratio was also exemplary!!! In short: it was simply outstanding! Thank you for the wonderful evening!

Éramos un grupo de 11 personas de gira a Lübeck para un viaje de fin de semana. Estamos dispuestos a comer alimentos de la cocina local, pero también nos gusta visitar un restaurante italiano, como cambio. Elegimos el Luigi en Lübeck, basado en muchas buenas críticas. Y solo podemos estar de acuerdo con todas las buenas críticas. En este viaje, no había tantos de nosotros participando que era necesario reservar, así que pudimos elegir varios platos diferentes en el lugar. Angenehm freundlicher Empfang im historischen Gebäude mit hervorragendem Essen. Obwohl es sehr voll war, waren alle Servicekräfte sehr bemüht und zuvorkommend. Wir wurden informiert dass die Bestellung etwas länger dauert, was sehr angenehm, sympathisch und absolut nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Aufmerksamkeit des Hauses mit einem Prosecco zum Empfang und einem Grappa nach dem Essen waren das zusätzliche I-Tüpfelchen. Unbedingt vorab reservieren! Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

Pleasantly friendly welcome in the historic building with excellent food. Although it was very busy, all the service staff were very helpful and courteous. We were informed that the order would take a little longer, which was very pleasant, friendly and absolutely not a given. The attention of the house with a prosecco at the reception and a grappa after the meal were the additional icing on the cake. Be sure to reserve in advance! We are already looking forward to the next visit.

I had promised myself more, but my risotto wasn't cooked through. Since it was my companion's birthday, it was a shame that we couldn't eat together. It was better after a complaint, but it wasn't chunky enough and still wasn't cooked through properly. Wanted to keep the mood, I didn't say anything else. My friend's food looked very oily...the taste was okay, but nothing more. The pictures, masks, etc. on the walls do not match the historic building. My opinion

Great service, smart and clean dressed staff, the pizzas were really delicious. We felt pampered and very comfortable.

We arrived on a rainy evening, our jackets were soaked but we had to hang them on our chairs, just like all the other customers (because it also got my back wet, not so nice). We were given a small glass of very sweet procecco as a welcome drink. The food was ok, no wow experience, but good, or we were simply really hungry after the trip. The surroundings are very nice, plus for white tablecloths and napkins. The staff was very nice, but... ! Everything went well until it was time to pay. We come from a non-euro country, we didn't have much cash with us so we paid by card and as usual, would leave a tip in cash on the table. We didn't know what kind of card reader they had, could you tip there or could you just pay? While checking what we had in cash, we saw Pegha approaching us with small glasses of limoncello (we think). But Tim, the one who took the payment, waved her off, said something, she turned and went back to the bar. There they continued to discuss us even with the bartender who just glared at us intensely. You, Tim, and the rest of you who think you have control over the customers and can read the customers' behavior, you should know that the customers are watching you too, see everything and understand everything! We had a good laugh, it was a circus! You made a fool of yourself Tim, you completely misunderstood the situation! Of course we didn't leave cash. We were full, thanks for that. But to recommend you? No.

Vi kom en regnig kväll, våra jackor var genomblöta men vi fick hänga dem på våra stolar (pga det blev även min rygg blött, inte trevligt). Vi fick litet glas av väldigt söt procecco som välkomstdrink. Maten var ok, men lite överprisad enligt oss. Omgivningen mycket trevlig. Allt gick bra tills det blev dags att betala. Vi kommer från icke euro land, vi hade inte mycket kontanter med oss så vi betalade med kort och som vi brukar, skulle lämna tips i kontanter på bordet. Medan vi kollade vad vi hade i cash, såg vi Pergha närma sig mot oss med små glas limoncello. Men Tim, han som tog emot betalningen, viftade bort henne, sa något, hon vände sig om och gick tillbaka till baren. Där fortsatte de att diskutera oss även med bartendern och tittade mot oss. Du, Tim, och ni andra som tror att ni har koll på kunderns och kan läsa kundernas beteende, du ska veta att kunderna iakttar er också, ser allt och fattar allt! Vi hade gott skratt, det var ju cirkus! Du gjorde dig till åtlöje Tim, du missförstod situationen helt och hållet! Självklart lämnade vi inga kontanter. Vi var mätta, tack för det. Men att rekommendera er? Nej. Vi är ofta i Lubeck, men vi kommer inte tillbaka. Räcker med en gång.

A weekend in Lübeck. As a Hanseatic citizen you feel at home in the whole city. But Da Luigi is particularly convincing. The atmosphere is extremely pleasant and the staff is top notch! Food and drinks also excellent. We especially think the pizzas are outstanding. Not a big restaurant, short waiting times and reasonable prices. A clear recommendation. In addition, it is close to bars and nightclubs in the old town for a possible connection.

We had a really nice evening in the Praetor House – Da Luigi! The food was simply delicious, made with a lot of love and really tasty. But it wasn't just the food that impressed us - the people there are incredibly warm and friendly. You are immediately welcomed and simply feel at home. The atmosphere is rustic and cozy, just right for relaxing. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Thank you for the great time – absolutely recommended!

Entramos y reservamos la cena para la noche siguiente, que no parecía ser un problema. Cuando llegamos la noche siguiente la camarera parecía confundida y preguntó a otra si había una reserva a mi nombre. Que ella dijo que sí, sígueme. Ella nos acompañó por las escaleras y luego comenzó a servir otra mesa de clientes y luego nos dijo que tienes que volver a bajar Tengo que preparar una mesa. Había 2 mesas vacías en ese piso en las que podíamos habernos sentado y ella se podía haber quitado los platos extra, pero tuvimos que volver a caminar y luego pararnos en la barra. El bar era una zona estrecha sin asientos y no nos ofrecieron una bebida mientras esperábamos. La camarera entonces volvió a nosotros y nos acompañó de nuevo por las escaleras. Una vez sentados recibimos un vaso pequeño de Prosecco cada uno. Pedimos nuestra red y no esperamos mucho a que salieran. Estar sentado en ese piso no es genial, es una zona pequeña con vistas al conducto de aire acondicionado. Pero además de todo eso la comida era deliciosa. El risotto de setas era perfecto y la vieira con limón era tan sabroso.

On Saturday March 22nd, 25 we were here with 6 people for dinner at 6:30 p.m. The restaurant was busy, perhaps even fully booked. There were enough service staff, although not everyone was allowed to accept an order. The request for a bottle of red wine was only implemented on the third attempt. What really bothered me, however, was that at the “best Italian restaurant” in town you only get lukewarm food on your plate. 2x Scallopina only lukewarm 1x sea bream only lukewarm 1x salmon was super ok (vegetables but only lukewarm) 1x sea bream fillet with relatively many fish. Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me.

A little gem, somewhat hidden, in Lübeck's old town. Reservations are easy to make via the homepage; we were reminded via text message the day before. The restaurant can be found in a very beautiful old town house. The tables are very nicely set and the welcome is very friendly. The menu is not too big. The bruschetta alone as a starter was very tasty, as were the pizzas. Beer and wine were also tasty, we'll be back.

Unfortunately the service was subpar. As soon as we took our seats it was made clear to us that we had to leave after 90 minutes because the next guests would arrive then. We replied that we made a reservation 8 weeks ago and just wanted to eat in peace, from then on it was almost ridiculous. We had to wait forever for the card, then we were asked every 60 seconds whether we had voted. The main course then came, our starter was forgotten. So let's go back to the main course and give us the starter. Then wait a long time... then only two skin passages instead of three. A main course, the recommendation of the day, came in appetizer size, so much too small. Third main course finally arrived and another appetizer-sized portion, of course the bread was also forgotten. Then came the bill, of course two starters were charged as a main course, which is of course much more expensive. Invoice was changed, no apology or anything like that. The staff was extremely overwhelmed by the many guests, 3 people in service, 2 friendly and one of the ladies was rude and rude. The food was really very good, but the stay there was a complete disaster.

The restaurant has unpleasant reviews removed via Google instead of taking the criticism seriously. The reason given by Google is: copyright infringement. No, I am the author of this review and have already filed a complaint with Google. Our table was given to other guests despite the reservation period of seven weeks. The food was not good, one dish was completely wrong and the service was sloppy. As you can see here, the problem of table reservations is well known. Criticism serves to optimize operational processes. See it as positive that you can change something. Here then again. We don't think it's okay. Just improve and POINT.

We are here on December 29th. stopped in with four people. The restaurant is very close to the Christmas market and we stopped here because of the good reviews. Very cozy and genuinely Italian restaurant, whimsically good food and good wine that was selected by our waitress Peggy. The service was fast and professional! Peggy had a lot to do in a crowded restaurant but still gave each guest a smile and some small talk as she went around serving, very homely and familiar :).

Famoses Abendessen, in historischen Räumen mit Lüster Kronleuchter und alten Elementen Stilvoll eingedeckt mit Kerzen und Rosen 🌹 auf jeden Tisch. Herzliche Begrüßung, einen kleinen Empfangstrunk zur Karte. Das Essen selbst könnte nicht italienischer sein Vorspeise Hauptgang und Nachspeise war perfekt. Der Espresso einfah belebend aromatisch.

Ladies and Gentlemen I had reserved a table two weeks in advance for December 31st, 2024, New Year's Eve - for 10 people. The lady on the phone was courteous and friendly. We were talking about a table that is available open-end. Full of anticipation, friends came who had traveled 2 1/2 hours and we made our way to the restaurant. When we arrived we were greeted by a lady who looked surprised when we said we had a reservation. A gentleman came over and asked me when I called and said that it couldn't be that we had made a reservation if we didn't know that a 4-course menu was offered. He presented it as if I had made it up. To check if I was calling somewhere else, I looked up the phone number, which was the restaurant's phone number. I am disappointed that the Lord has treated me as if it were my fault. That's not how you treat customers. Sorry, none. Unfortunately we won't be going here anymore.

We booked a table for 10 people for New Year's Eve. The order was even confirmed to us again by phone. Unfortunately we were in the shop that evening and all the tables were taken. Instead of an apology we were asked outside. Mistakes can happen, but in our case 10 people had a ruined New Year's Eve and ended up on the street...

We reserved a table early by telephone, but unfortunately we were informed upon arrival that the reservation had not been made, contrary to what had been agreed. Unfortunately there was no compromise response and instead we were sent away.

Despite making reservations several weeks in advance for New Year's Eve, we as a group of 10 people who had traveled to Lübeck specifically for that evening were turned away in a very rude manner. When we arrived at the restaurant at the agreed time, it was suggested to us that we had definitely not made a reservation at this restaurant and were asked to look for something elsewhere. However, we were able to prove on site that we had called the restaurant several times to register additional guests and make the reservations. A solution from the operator would be expected to quickly resolve the problem. This did not happen in any way and getting a table at another restaurant at short notice on New Year's Eve is an impossibility. Despite the otherwise good reviews, I have to say that the quality of service we received was subpar. We would have loved to dine in this restaurant but under these circumstances I cannot recommend this place.

The place was great! The house is old and very atmospheric. It looks and feels cosy. The stuff was very friendly and very fast. The food was delicious and they offer a welcome drink which is rare in Germany. Would highly recommend to visit the place if you are in Lübeck.

I have lived in Lübeck for over 25 years and unfortunately I have not been to this restaurant until now. Today was the first and definitely not the last time! It was just great! Simply recommended!

Won't come back, the good rating is a bit incomprehensible to me. The food was okay and was delivered quickly, but in my opinion there are much better Italian restaurants in Lübeck in the same price category. Unfortunately the service was weak and quite unfriendly. The beer we ordered was only brought on the third request (and then charged three times even though only one arrived), the food was served grumpily and simply pushed into our hands with a 'Here'. The female employees in particular were quite rude in their service; there was no sign of friendliness. The only positive thing to note is the nice atmosphere.

Vom Eintritt bis zum Dessert -alles perfekt! Unser Tisch stand bereit ,alle Gänge wurden ohne lange Wartezeit top arrangiert serviert. Die Küche versteht ihr Handwerk. Das stets aufmerksame,freundliche und top eingespielte Team bereitete uns einen schönen Abend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Were here yesterday with 7 people for our Christmas party for dinner. The food was good and tasty. The service, however, was more than bad. At the beginning the waiter showed great euphoria, but was not seen at our table for the rest of the evening. In between we weren't even asked for a 2nd/3rd. Round drinks, let alone asked for a dessert/digestive/espresso after dinner. Instead, we were repeatedly asked about our glasses and whether we still needed them. That's not what I imagine a good Italian to be (website: "Best Italian in Lübeck"). Unfortunately no recommendation...

Despite an existing reservation, a group of over 20 people were turned away at the door on the confirmed date. Completely inaccessible behavior with refusal to clarify with a responsible body. Never, never again!

Había hecho reservas hace 2 meses para 6 personas el viernes 29 de noviembre. El día anterior recibí un mensaje del servicio de reservas: "Gute Nachrichten, calvo steht Ihr Essen im Prator - Haus - el Luigi an. Pero cuando llegamos al Luigi a la hora reservada ( 18 : 30 ) nos dijeron que habían cancelado nuestra reserva enviándome un correo electrónico media hora antes ( 17 : 57 ) . Afirman que habían tratado de contactarme por teléfono, pero no lo habían logrado porque había enumerado un número equivocado e indicando así que era MI culpa que nuestra reserva hubiera sido cancelada. En mi opinión esta explicación es un claro encubrimiento para ocultar el hecho de que nuestra mesa había sido 'vendida' a otros huéspedes hambrientos. Vinimos desde Dinamarca para experimentar Lübeck en Navidad y para tener una comida extraordinaria y deliciosa. Pero la forma en que nos trataron en el Luigi fue una desgracia.

Vores reservering var blevet væk. Heldigvis kunne vi fremvise en messenger samtale som dokumentation. Vi ventede 1/2 i baren og fik et bord. Lækre pastaretter med rigelig mad. Hyggelig restaurant med god akustik og mulighed for at snakke sammen.

Vi hade bokat bord men fick vänta 1h på bordet sen ytterligare 1h på maten. Otrevlig personal och väldigt trång lokal. Maten okej men inte mer.

Appetizer plate covered in balsamic vinegar. Everything just tasted the same. The eggplant is a mixture of wobbly to raw. Saffron risotto without saffron. Salmon on spinach without spinach but on an unseasoned bed of vegetables - rum steak with Gorgonzola sauce without Gorgonzola but with herb butter. - Service worker who had to send a colleague because she didn't understand you. If you're not up to Christmas parties, you shouldn't do it. Apparently a normal visit is ok. Unfortunately we cannot recommend it.

A restaurant on the old town island of Lübeck in a side street near the pedestrian zone. The restaurant is located in a historic old town house, beautifully renovated and attractively furnished. The staff is friendly, funny and very attentive. We had made a reservation, which was certainly important as the restaurant was very busy in the evening. The food was very tasty, the pizzas were large, well topped and well prepared. The pasta dish was also very tasty but unfortunately the quantity was rather too little. The restaurant is definitely recommended.

Ordered table for eight weeks. Still didn't get it. Forgot my wife's food. Steak Gorgonzola without Gorgonzola, service friendly but helpless. We canceled our New Year's Eve dinner for eight people today.

Wir waren schon mehrmals im Luigi, waren immer begeistert und fühlten uns gut bewirtet. Beim jetzigen Besuch mit 4 Freunden waren wir doch sehr enttäuscht. Bedauerlicherweise war der Service-Mann komplett überfordert. Aufgrund der Situation, dass leider eine Person erkrankt war, wurde uns verständlicherweise ein 4-er Tisch gegeben. Wir waren gegen 17:30Uhr die einzigen Gäste. Danach haben wir eine Flasche Wasser erhalten und die Gläser wurden befüllt, obwohl wir noch keine Getränke geordert hatten. Irgendwie hat die Service-Qualität und auch Portionsmenge der Speisen deutlich nachgelassen, wobei die Preise erhöht wurden. Ferner fehlt auch inzwischen grundsätzlich der "DANKEschön-Gruß des Hauses (Espresso, Sambuca, Grappa etc.)". Das ist insgesamt sehr schade. Anmerkung zur vorherigen Reservierung: Leider ist es bisher immer bei Reservierungen per QUANDOO so, dass wir im Nachgang vom Reservierungsportal angeschrieben werden. Angeblich sollen wir nicht beim reservierten Termin da gewesen sein. Das stimmt aber leider immer nicht!!! Warum klappt es nicht? Woran liegt es? Zweimalige Nachfragen per Email bei der Chefin blieben leider unbeantwortet. Leider gibt es viel Verbesserungspotential. Zunächst wechseln wir das Lokal und beobachten die Bewertungsportale.

Pizza with frozen vegetables (cauliflower) - wasn't that good... and: if a guest didn't like it, to be fair, an offer (dessert, drink, something) should come, but it didn't. I wouldn't go there again.

Wir waren schon oft im Luigi und sind dieses Mal total enttäuscht worden ! Alles ist anders geworden , kein echtes Lächeln der Inhaberin war mehr zu sehen und es kam mir lieblos vor ( das Essen leider auch ) ich hatte zb . Saltimbocca ( nicht gut ) Fleisch so dünn und lauwarm , Gemüse hart und nicht so dente , insgesamt nicht schmackhaft ! Mein Sohn Scampis ( Gemüse auch hart dazu ) die Pizzen 2 Mal viel zu dünn ! Wir mögen zwar keinen dicken Teig , aber dieser war wie Papier ! Prosseco süß und das Bier nicht kalt ! Was waren es noch für Zeiten , als Luigi noch da war ! Wir hoffen sehr , das es wieder besser wird und die Inhaber wieder Freude an ihrem Restaurant haben !

Fantastic food atmosphere like being in Italy 😃 Even the music was perfect. If you have to say something, the serving was a bit fast. But not the great importance, can only be recommended 👍🏼☺️

RECOMMENDED! - HOSPITALITY is very important here: Dinner for 2 adults and 2 children could be easily reserved. The pizzas and the dessert were excellent, unfortunately the Diavolo pizza was too spicy for the youngest - the result: complete understanding for our son and another pizza could be chosen to eat, although NEITHER of the two pizzas had to be paid for. Something like that has to be praised. Thank you again from our family 😃

This is one of the best Italian places I’ve been to! Top quality food and service. If you are visiting Lübeck, definitely avoid the boardwalk restaurants that pretend to be proper Italian, and come straight here. Very fair prices for very good quality!

Best Italian in Lübeck Very friendly welcome even without a reservation. Wonderful table on the "upper deck". The house exudes atmosphere and its owners are the perfect complement. Great fresh food, delicious daily recommendations and super attentive service. It doesn't get any better. A special compliment to the chef!!!
