Good Italian food...delicious. Charming and cheeky waiter who knew how to sell...😉 ...keep it up! Reservations seem advisable for dinner, as the dining room was quite full for a Saturday night. I'd gladly come back here again.

Making a reservation by phone was very straightforward and friendly. The service was extremely attentive, fast, polite, and friendly. High praise! The food arrived quickly and tasted excellent (small salad (which was quite large for that), Hawaiian pizza, and vegetarian pizza). We had a very nice table and weren't cramped. The only downside was that it was quite loud in the crowded room, which sometimes made conversation a bit difficult. Overall, I highly recommend enjoying a delicious meal there!

There's truly nothing to complain about here. Starting with the ambiance, with the terrace right on Travemünde's fishing harbor. It couldn't be more perfect. The menu leaves little to be desired. From generously loaded appetizer plates to pasta made from Parmesan cheese to beef fillet with pepper sauce and outstanding desserts, nothing is lacking here. The quality of the food, as well as the service, is top-notch. The prices are quite reasonable for this quality and location. We'll be back. 😉

No parking available. The restaurant is designed for maximum capacity, so seating is tight. For allergy sufferers, a special menu is advertised by phone and on the menu itself, but this has apparently not been available since 2017. Some of the staff were quite arrogant. At 9:50 p.m., they asked for our last orders, and at 10 p.m., we were asked to leave...

Whenever we're in Travemünde, we always end up, as if by magic, at the CasaGrande. Whether it's for a private dinner, a big birthday party, or a corporate event... the CasaGrande consistently and reliably offers excellent service! Friendly, accommodating, with a touch of southern charm and humor, but never too much. The food is excellent, as are the drinks. Dogs are warmly (!) welcome and very welcome. In my opinion, the special charm lies in the combination of a delicious restaurant and a super cozy, chilled-out bar. The light, the location, there are outdoor seating areas by the small harbor with table fireplaces almost every season. We will be back.

The appetizer plate was absolutely fantastic, with the ravioli. The desserts and pizza were excellent, and the service was very friendly.

The food was simply outstanding – very high quality, delicious, and the portions were surprisingly generous. You can immediately tell that the team here puts a lot of effort into both the preparation and presentation of the dishes. The atmosphere is truly lovely – stylish, cozy, and perfect for a special evening. Of course, the prices are a bit higher, but the value for money is absolutely spot on. Especially compared to other restaurants of this class, you get truly high quality and a fantastic overall experience here. The service was also excellent: The staff were very attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely at home. It was also particularly nice that, despite the busy schedule, everything ran smoothly and professionally. In conclusion: If you want to spend a special evening in Travemünde with excellent food, a lovely atmosphere, and great service, you should definitely stop by CasaGrande. Highly recommended!

The location by the harbor is very nice, and they try to maintain a somewhat higher standard than your average corner Italian restaurant with appropriate furnishings and decor. The food was good but not outstanding, and the prices were reasonable. We were a bit unlucky with the slow service, and the timing of the dishes was off. However, the friendliness and attentiveness were satisfactory.

The two of us went for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Very few customers, and two service staff. They showed little to no interest, and at times were absent for extended periods. I had to look for them in the back of the restaurant to pay! On my first visit in the evening, things were completely different: attentive service... It's a real shame, so the second visit was a complete failure!

A great restaurant with delicious food and excellent service We went out to eat with our toddler and baby on a Friday evening. The wait for our food was very short. We had two pasta dishes, a pizza, and ice cream and crème brûlée for dessert. It was truly delicious. A big compliment to the waiters, who were very attentive and also very fond of children. We highly recommend this restaurant and would visit again.

At the CasaGrande, an event hosted by "Unendliches Blau" (a cruise travel agency) was held on the top floor. The large windows were open, large passenger ships tinkled by, seagulls cried, and you could watch the sunset. A truly Mediterranean atmosphere! The whole experience was enhanced by the very friendly and attentive staff: delicious cocktails were served and a delicious buffet was offered (my recommendation: vitello tonnato, bruschetta, etc.). The main course also received high praise from all attendees. And the crème brûlée – heavenly! Thanks to the whole team! We'll be back soon!

We've been guests at the Casa Grande restaurant for years now, and every time we visit, we're impressed by the entire team. The excellent food and the very friendly service make every evening special for us! We recently visited the restaurant with our extended family for a small celebration. Everyone was delighted by the food and the overall atmosphere. Many thanks to the kitchen and team! I'd also like to emphasize that we're always welcome with our large Bernese Mountain Dog. This isn't a given in all restaurants. See you next time.

We've lived in Travemünde for three years and have eaten at CasaGrande several times. The food was always good and the service staff were very attentive. Today we wanted to eat at CasaGrande again, but we didn't have a reservation, and we were offered a table with a time slot from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. When we asked if we'd like to sit on the side terrace, we were told they couldn't open it because it was too windy. So we agreed to sit at the table with the time slot. 15 minutes after we ordered, the seats were given to other guests. One gets the impression, as we've read in other reviews, that guests are treated differently. At 5:55 PM, the waitress came and asked if we could have dessert. Unfortunately, we ultimately got the impression that this was a place to make a quick buck.

The restaurant benefits greatly from its waterfront location. The service was okay. Unfortunately, the soup was very salty. However, after a complaint, it was removed from the bill. The spaghetti frutti di mare was slightly overseasoned but perfectly acceptable. The salmon risotto and fish platter were good. The value for money is debatable. I found a glass of tap water for dissolving medication a bit excessive for €2.50.

We decided to have dinner today, four adults and a small child, at very short notice, and we were truly delighted with everything. Emilio was especially sweet and friendly to our little girl. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We visited twice during our short vacation and can highly recommend it. The Spaghetti Frutti de Mare is particularly delicious, simply a dream, and the beef fillet spaghetti with truffles and chanterelle mushrooms is also super tasty. On my next visit, I opted for the Spaghetti Gammas, which was also delicious, but not as good as the Spaghetti Frutti de Mare, which is simply fresher and not as heavy thanks to the tomato sauce. The atmosphere was great; both times we had a lovely table with a view of the water, and the service was very friendly.

The food is actually a dream, unfortunately there was too much sand in the salad, but the pasta was great, and the location is fantastic, right in the harbor.

I'm currently staying in a beautiful area like the Baltic Sea in Germany. It's super clean and truly beautiful here, but I wanted to experience Germany in a different way and was initially very surprised by how beautiful it is. I met a lot of people, and many recommended a beautiful spot here by the harbor. On the first day, I wanted to go out for a nice and delicious meal with my family. My friend's recommendation was very appealing: Casa Grande was recommended! Of course, we went there and wanted to reserve a table the next day as well, as my son is 8 years old and I wanted to celebrate lavishly. We ordered wine, food for us (4 people), and everything that goes with it. While waiting, I wanted to smoke my cigar outside, but the terrace was 10% full. After lighting my cigar, I was informed that only cigarettes were allowed. After a discussion, I was told that this was an internal policy decision, but to the best of my knowledge, I naturally rejected this decision. Unfortunately, the food had already been ordered and the wine had already been brought, resulting in a bill of €180. I immediately canceled the reservation the next day. The waiter was very competent, but couldn't do anything because it's an internal policy that I simply cannot accept. What's wrong with you? I asked myself. Unfortunately, I still don't understand how the owners decide this. In my opinion, it's incompetence on the part of the management if cigars aren't allowed here, but cigars are. In my opinion, the owners are completely out of their minds. I won't recommend my friends to visit this restaurant. You are simply incompetent. Because it's an internal policy that I simply cannot accept.

Excellent choice for food and quality service. We had two pizzas, all with quality ingredients, good red wine, limoncello and water. At the end they mixed up the bill, we didn’t notice, but they came to correct it, which would have meant they would have to pay 9 Euros back. We left it as a a tip. Highly recommended. ✅👍

Top location, delicious authentic Italian cuisine

A chic restaurant with a large terrace, it's a great place to sit and watch the ships. The food was exceptionally good and very plentiful. An absolute must for any visit to Travemünde.

Wir konnten im GASA GRANDE einen genussvollen Sommerabend auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Fischereihafen genießen und wurden trotz des sehr gut besuchten Restaurants sehr aufmerksam vom Service (Bediener 4) betreut. Wir starteten mit einem Rosato Via bzw. Lillet Buck (je 9,90 €) als Aperitif, beide sowohl optisch als auch geschmacklich ein guter Einstieg. Als Vorspeise entschieden wir uns für Melone mit Parmaschinken (15,50 €) respektive Antipasti Casa Grande, eine kleine aber feine Auswahl an Seafood (17,90 €). Beide Portionen waren sehr gut bemessen, ein kl. Brötchen oder etwas Brot hätte den Gang jedoch abgerundet. Bei der Hauptspeise wählten wir Gamba alla Griglia (29,90 €) sowie Spaghetti Parmigiano mit Gamba (19,90 €). Auch diese Port. waren sehr gut bemessen und konnten auch einen hungrigen Gast zufriedenstellen. Der Chardoney (6,90 €/0,2 l) war gut temperiert und sagt uns zu dem Menü sehr zu. Statt eines Dessert wählten wir einen doppelten Espresso (4,90 €) und einen sehr weichen Grappa (6,90 €). Es war sicher nicht der letzte Besuch in diesem Sommer.

Not really recommended, the carpaccio was ice cold, so thin you could see the pattern of the plate, the risotto was "crispy", the fish far from glassy. The waiter was very attentive, thank you very much for that.

The meal we ordered for two—pasta and pizza—was bland, which was a shame. Both dishes were lacking salt. Otherwise, everything was great, including the drinks.

⸻ Disappointing visit to Casa Grande Travemünde We had dinner at Casa Grande today. The taste of the food was okay - until I discovered a dead fly in the food towards the end of my salad. An absolute disgrace. I showed the bow tie to the waitress, hoping for an appropriate reaction. Instead there was just a flippant comment: “Well, you were lucky that you only found the fly at the end.” - I'm sorry, what?! A dead fly in a salad is not luck, but a hygiene problem. The fact that something like this is ridiculed is simply disrespectful. When I was paying, I mentioned it again – this time to a different waitress. Here too: no apology, no understanding. Instead, I was told, “We’ll come along every now and then and ask how it was – you could have said something.” When I explained that I had already said it, nothing further came. No regrets, no offer, absolutely nothing. Not even an apology!!! Conclusion: If you are looking for flies in the salad and arrogant handling of complaints, you have come to the right place. If you value hygiene, customer service and respectful treatment, you should avoid this store. For me that was the last visit

Didn't eat there but smelled very good. Was booked there for a show on the upper floor, can only say: MEGALOCATION with a view of the harbor... Everyone was very friendly, we will definitely eat there soon.

Nach den Problemen bei der Tischreservierung habe ich mit gewissen Vorbehalten das Restaurant CASA GRANDA besucht. Meine Bedenken waren jedoch völlig unbegründet, denn ich konnte mit meinen Begleitern einen überaus gelungenen Abend genießen. Nach einem Aperitif (abweichend von der Karte bekam ich einen Campari auf Eis) entschied ich mich für Thuna im Sesammantel, der optisch sehr ansprechend mit einem Feld-Frucht-Salat serviert wurde und mich auch geschmacklich überzeugen konnte. Der gewählte Hauptgang – Spaghetti und Shrimps mit Gemüse aus dem Wok – traf genau meinen Geschmack und war auch von der Portionsgröße überzeugend. Der servierte Chardonnay war gut gekühlt und für mich perfekt zu meinem Menü. Statt eines Dessert entschied ich mich zum Abschluß für einen Doppio Espresso sowie einen Chardonnay Grappa. Separat wurde gleich zu Beginn eine Auswahl an Parmesan, eingelegte Peperoni, Olivenöl und Balsamico serviert. Auch meine Begleitung war mit der Wahl – Vitello tonnato, Kalbsschnitzel mit Spaghetti bzw. von der Tageskarte Nudeln aus dem Parmesanlaib mit Rosenkohl und Filetspitzen sehr zufrieden. Für mich war es ein rundum geschmackvoller und gelungener Abend mit einem durchaus stimmigen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Great service. Very attentive. The food is already at a higher level. Certainly a little more expensive, but it's worth it. Just preparing pasta dishes at the table is an experience. I think a table reservation is an advantage because it was pretty full on a Friday evening even in January. All I can say is a great Italian.

The Casa Grande is located next to the harbor in Travemünde. You look out the window and see where the fresh fish on your plate comes from. The cuisine and service go hand in hand at Casa Grande on a stylish level. An old school store!

Very tasty food in a not overloaded restaurant with very good service. All of this at a price that is absolutely justified. Definitely not too expensive. Rather a bit too low. Cloth napkins, high-quality cutlery with sharp knives are very rare. Special requests were also addressed immediately. Freshly and deliciously prepared. If you want to eat in the 1zeile in Travemünde, you're in good hands here.

It doesn't get any better. The guest is given a really warm welcome. As soon as you walk in you feel super comfortable. The staff is so friendly that you don't really see them these days. The pizzas that were served to us were an A plus. I have rarely eaten such a great Parma/Ruccola pizza so well. True down to the last detail. Thank you very much
