Restaurant CasaGrande Travemünde in Lübeck

Nach den Problemen bei der Tischreservierung habe ich mit gewissen Vorbehalten das Restaurant CASA GRANDA besucht. Meine Bedenken waren jedoch völlig unbegründet, denn ich konnte mit meinen Begleitern einen überaus gelungenen Abend genießen. Nach einem Aperitif (abweichend von der Karte bekam ich einen Campari auf Eis) entschied ich mich für Thuna im Sesammantel, der optisch sehr ansprechend mit einem Feld-Frucht-Salat serviert wurde und mich auch geschmacklich überzeugen konnte. Der gewählte Hauptgang – Spaghetti und Shrimps mit Gemüse aus dem Wok – traf genau meinen Geschmack und war auch von der Portionsgröße überzeugend. Der servierte Chardonnay war gut gekühlt und für mich perfekt zu meinem Menü. Statt eines Dessert entschied ich mich zum Abschluß für einen Doppio Espresso sowie einen Chardonnay Grappa. Separat wurde gleich zu Beginn eine Auswahl an Parmesan, eingelegte Peperoni, Olivenöl und Balsamico serviert. Auch meine Begleitung war mit der Wahl – Vitello tonnato, Kalbsschnitzel mit Spaghetti bzw. von der Tageskarte Nudeln aus dem Parmesanlaib mit Rosenkohl und Filetspitzen sehr zufrieden. Für mich war es ein rundum geschmackvoller und gelungener Abend mit einem durchaus stimmigen Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis.

Very tasty food in a not overloaded restaurant with very good service. All of this at a price that is absolutely justified. Definitely not too expensive. Rather a bit too low. Cloth napkins, high-quality cutlery with sharp knives are very rare. Special requests were also addressed immediately. Freshly and deliciously prepared. If you want to eat in the 1zeile in Travemünde, you're in good hands here.

Delicious food and friendly service. Unfortunately there is no Italian beer. Prices okay, with a great location.

It doesn't get any better. The guest is given a really warm welcome. As soon as you walk in you feel super comfortable. The staff is so friendly that you don't really see them these days. The pizzas that were served to us were an A plus. I have rarely eaten such a great Parma/Ruccola pizza so well. True down to the last detail. Thank you very much

A great restaurant! Had dinner here with my mother, she is in a wheelchair! After a long search, one of the few good restaurants with a wheelchair-accessible driveway and a toilet that is suitable for disabled people! Sliding door, spacious elevator! Besides, the food was delicious, the service was great and the price-performance ratio was perfect. Thank you !

Unfortunately some of the steaks were raw. When ordering, no one asked how you would like to eat the steak. Some of the potatoes were raw and the vegetables didn't taste particularly good either. Too bad

Beautiful ambience directly on the Trave. Modern restaurant with an exquisite menu. Pizza & pasta were a dream, the chili and garlic oil served with it really enhanced the pizza. Fast and friendly service, good selection of great grappas.

Gedämpftes Licht und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Die Pasta (Empfehlung auf der Tafel) hat gut geschmeckt und war eine üppige Portion (bin guter Esser). Service war tipptopp. Wartezeit aufs Essen überschaubar. Wein war auch in Ordnung. Bei meiner Auswahl war Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis gut. Kleiner Wermutstropfen: Manche Gerichte/ Getränke habe ich als überteuert empfunden. Bsp.: Bier 0.4 für knapp sechs Euro. Da bin ich raus.

An excellent restaurant, I haven't experienced such good service for a long time. The ambience in the restaurant and the view of the fishing harbor are great and the food was excellent.

A true gem in Travemünde! Ristorante CasaGrande exceeded my expectations. The authentic Italian cuisine is a feast for the senses - the pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, and the selection of dishes is impressive. Particularly noteworthy are the warm hospitality and the atmosphere that invites you to linger. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. I really enjoyed the entire experience and highly recommend CasaGrande! I'll definitely come back here. Reply to another recession: We got so full that we even had to take something with us. What is written here is not entirely true. TOP! I can recommend the spaghetti with parmesan from the loaf and scampi with fillet tips. So delicious. 🤤

Excellent restaurant and definitely not a run-of-the-mill Italian! The dishes were very well prepared with attention to detail. My Parmesan pasta with pumpkin and beef was incredibly delicious. The pizza bread with toppings is also highly recommended. The service was very attentive and courteous.

We came here spontaneously. Without reservation. The restaurant is full, but we still got a seat outside. Fish and spaghetti were great. Service very skillful and competent. Desserts awesome. We are totally satisfied.

I come from the catering industry myself and was at Casa Grande for the first time on Saturday. I can't remember ever having experienced such good service. We were there with several children and the kids were treated so lovingly. The food was incredibly delicious. Thank you very much for this great dining experience 😄

We chose to have our wedding at Casa Grande and it was the best decision we could have made. From the first contact to the end of the celebration, the service was simply outstanding. Ambiance: The restaurant offers an elegant yet cozy atmosphere, perfect for a wedding. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful terrace, which is ideal for an outdoor reception. Service: The staff was extremely professional and accommodating. Our guests were looked after excellently throughout the evening. Every wish was met and the coordination ran smoothly. Eat: The wedding menu was a culinary highlight. The dishes were beautifully prepared and tasted an absolute delight. Our guests with special dietary requirements were particularly well taken into account. Conclusion: Casa Grande exceeded our expectations and made our wedding an unforgettable experience. We would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a wedding venue!

Wir wollten spontan essen gehen , leider hatte unser ausgewähltes Lokal wegen Personal Mangel kein Essen . Somit verschlug es uns dann ins Casa Grande Hier sitzt man schön auf der Terrasse mit interessanter Aussicht auf den Hafen . Es waren viele Plätze frei in dem recht großen Restaurant . Am Eingang gab es Hinweise auf tagesmenue. Nach einer sehr leckeren Vorspeisen Platte hatte ich Spaghetti aus dem Parmesanlaib mit Pfifferlingen und Rindfleisch ! Mein Mann hatte Nudeln mit Gorgonzola Mein Gericht wurde leider nicht am Tisch im Parmesan angerichtet sondern kam fertig hin , es wurde kein Parmesan zusätzlich serviert . Die Portion war sehr groß , aber geschmacklich war sie etwas fade . Mein Chardonnay schmeckte sehr leicht und nicht wirklich wie ein Chardonnay . Der Service war gut , bei der Nachfrage ob es geschmeckt hätte und wir nicht voll des Lobes waren , erklärte er das sie den Parmesanlaib nicht nach draußen rollen können . Ich würde falls wir nochmal hin gehen eine Pizza probieren. Preise sind hoch wie fast überall Dorade 30€ , meine Nudeln 19€ die Vorspeise 16€

Heute am 17.07.24 waren wir zum ersten Mal hier und sofort geflasht von diesem Italiener. Die Qualität der Speisen ausgezeichnet, die Weinauswahl top, die beiden Damen im Service überragend zuvorkommend ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Chapeau an das Team - Ihr seid mit Abstand der beste Italiener in Travemünde und Umgebung! Der Weg zu Euch lohnt sich!

Nice place and good food, daily dishes with chanterelles

Unfortunately this time very disappointing. You can tell the difference between quality/service out of season and in summer. After we were very satisfied at Easter, this time the service was poor (drinks after the meal) and the food was tasteless. We ordered spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel. Unfortunately, the noodles definitely didn't see this one. Sprinkling some Parmesan over the pasta is not a substitute. Therefore: definitely not another visit. Addendum: The criticism seems justified; yesterday there was the same complaint.

We ate at this restaurant this evening based on a recommendation. One positive thing that has to be emphasized is that we got a table quite spontaneously. The order was very impersonal and very cold. As if you just want to be processed quickly. For starters we ordered a bruschetta. The menu stated that 4 pieces would be served. We received 3 pieces about 3cm wide which were very hard. For the main course we ordered parmesan spaghetti. What we received was actually a huge disappointment. Not a parmesan in sight. Nothing was done in a parmesan dish. A shame for a restaurant in this price range. Actually, you could also call the dish spaghetti in truffle cream sauce sprinkled with parmesan. As a conclusion we would say. Nice ambience. However, the staff is unfortunately not very hospitable. Maybe this review will be taken as an incentive to improve. We will definitely eat there again to get a second opinion.

Top location including terrace, attentive, courteous service and authentic cuisine that leaves nothing to be desired. In this case, people are happy to spend an extra euro.

Really great Italian restaurant with great prices and a great view of the marina

We always enjoy coming here and always receive a warm welcome! The waitress is always perfectly dressed and always very accommodating. We are very satisfied with the food and we are also happy to fulfill any special requests! If we could, we would come here EVERY day, - unfortunately we don't live here (yet)...

We were there with two small children. We were warmly welcomed and two children's chairs were immediately fetched. The food and the service were really great. We felt very comfortable.

Great restaurant, great view of the water!

Unfortunately I have to give 3 stars. The food was relatively tasty, but it wasn't a flavor bomb. The price-performance ratio wasn't right. For the price I would just expect more. To be honest, we left the restaurant a bit hungry because the portions aren't exactly big. Of course it's still a nice restaurant!

We ate there spontaneously and without a reservation. Unfortunately there was no space left in the restaurant but we were allowed to sit on the outside terrace. The ceiling heater was turned on for us straight away and we were able to order. Thanks to the evening sun we didn't freeze. The food and drinks came quite quickly despite the restaurant being full. The food tasted great and the staff was super friendly and even joked with the children. Last but not least, the prices were actually ok. We expected more expensive food for the location. We'll definitely come back again.

Went here again for dinner today, I'm used to good food in France and I wasn't disappointed here. Today was our last evening and we were served across the menu on different days, everything was excellent in terms of taste and at the highest level. Wunderbare italienische Atmosphäre in einem recht großen Lokal direkt am Wasser. Es gab typisches Essen in sehr gutes Qualität und die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Dem Lokal fehlt die Laufkundschaft, das ist schade, weil man dort sehr gut aufgehoben ist.

Sehr schöne Lokation mit sehr gutem Service. Zum Essen, ich hatte die Ravioli Casa Grande. Es kamen fünf Ravioli, die Füllung lecker, aber schwach gewürzt. Pilze Top, Brokkoli komplett verkocht und mit drei Ministücken echt unterlegen. Auf die Zucchini habe ich verzichtet, leider gab es dafür kein Ersatz (zumindest ein paar Pilze oder Brokkoli hatte ich erwartet). Alles etwas schwach gewürzt, aber es gab Peperoni, Knoblauch und Parmesan als Beigabe. Dazu Salz und Pfeffer aus der Mühle und schon war das Essen Top. Lieber so, als anders rum.

We visit Casa Grande every time we stay in Travemünde. We have been very satisfied every time so far. The food tastes very tasty, the service is extremely friendly and attentive. A table reservation is recommended, especially during the season. Absolute recommendation. Keep it up!

Last night we decided to have dinner at CasaGrande because it looked so inviting. Excellent choice!!! The food was wonderful from appetizer to dessert (tiramisu and crème brúlee... sooo delicious). But what made the visit an experience was the friendly, attentive and charmingly funny staff. And the table on wheels with the Parmesan loaf in which a dish was prepared at the table. I'll order that next time. Mille grazie per una serata speciale!

Today we treated ourselves to culinary delights at CasaGrande in Travemünde. We basically liked everything: service was nice and attentive, the atmosphere was nice and functional, the food and drinks were delicious. We enjoyed GAMBERI CON AGLIO, OLIO E PEPERONCINO - Fried Shrimp, Olive Oil, Garlic and PIZZA BRUSCHETTA - Tomato Sauce, Cheese, Fresh Tomatoes, Rocket, Parmesan with an INSALATA MISTA - Mixed Salad, Tomatoes, Onions, Rocket. Only the training of the staff regarding drinks should be updated or improved. What we wanted was a fruity, sparkling red wine, but we received a bone-dry, but still good red wine. And no “sip of water” with your espresso, which is a bit surprising in an Italian restaurant.

Not exactly cheap, but top service and very tasty food.

The turn of the year in CasaGrande: An overpriced and inedible 4 course menu for 99 per person. ! First starter was ok (you couldn't go wrong) The second course: it wasn't a risotto, dry, hard and you could put your risotto in a cup on the plate, respect, that's an "art" the sole was also dry. And the sauce had no beetroot in it. The main course: my meat was bad / sour... it smelled awful. Which immediately spoiled my appetite. Despite replacing the plate! The dessert was also OK, only the crème brûlèé was a bunch of cream cheese without a brown sugar crust! And the icing on the cake was that nothing was reduced in price!!! There was a cheap box of chocolates as an excuse. And that for “regular customers”. Conclusion: The kitchen cannot send menus for around 90 people! And you should think about simple menus, maybe that will work with the kitchen too! Better to offer it a la carte! We will only go out to eat a la cartè on “normal” evenings (the pizza is great, as are the pasta dishes). I could write statements from the employees about this, but we'd rather not do that! I hope that it is taken to heart a bit!!!!

Blick auf den Hafen mit tollem Essen. Wir waren mit 8 Personen vor Ort und die Bedienung war super bemüht das alle stimmt. Gute Weinempfehlung zum Essen. Antipasti, Nudelgerichte und Pizzen waren toll. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Super Personal!!! Freundlich, sehr flink, fit, kompetent.....top!!! Das Essen war toll!!! Stoffservietten. Toll! Sehr schöne gedeckten Tisch... Sitzplätze ok, allerdings sehr voll und dadurch etwas laut... Aber alles klasse!

Wir waren am dieses Jahr am Neujahrsabend dort und haben gerade noch einen Tisch bekommen und waren total begeistert. Der Sevice prima und das Essen suuuuuper lecker...beim nächsten mal sind wir auf jeden Fall wieder dort.
