We go there often and it is always delicious. For us it is the best Greek restaurant in all of Wiesbaden. In any case a recommendation.

Gutes Essen, toller Service und angemessene Preise. Im Sommer ist die Terrasse super. Da ich um die Ecke wohne, komme ich ziemlich oft 🙂 Halloumi ist der perfekte Appetizer, bisher hat aber alles geschmeckt 👍

Recommendation!!! A Greek without any frills. We spontaneously got a table on Friday evening, you have to be lucky sometimes. The restaurant was completely full at 7 p.m. The service was very friendly and quick and also gave competent advice on wine. At this point a big compliment, the two guys really rocked the place. The food came quickly and there was nothing to complain about, everything was very tasty and the portions were more than sufficient. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back soon. Unfortunately, parking spaces are very rare in Kloppenheim and you have to look for them and also accept a short walk.

As always, good food and lovely people in the service and in the kitchen! Would love to come back.

The food is excellent, the team is also great and very welcoming. The only thing that regularly bothers us is the poor or non-existent internet presence. Nowadays it is really not difficult and actually standard to put a website with the menu online. The address on Nauroder Straße (Bierstadt) is sometimes given on the Internet... Other than that, everything is great. PS: You can only pay in cash on site

Unfortunately we cannot leave positive feedback about the food. After waiting over 45 minutes for our order, we politely asked for our food. It was then said that the order had unfortunately not been recorded in the system by mistake. Whether we wanted to order the same thing again... if we hadn't asked, we would still be sitting at an empty table - we then went home and ordered pizza, it was quicker!

The Poseidon moved from Bierstadt to Kloppenheim years ago. The food and service are now significantly better than before. Everything tasted very good and the friendly host probably doesn't have enough room on his skin for more tattoos... The main thing is that the kitchen is perfect. The prices are in the middle range. I have nothing to complain about...

I would like to highlight the souvlaki and the pide <3 The skewers are also amazing. Both owners are extremely nice as are the servants :-)! As soon as you enter the room you get the feeling that you are on holiday in Kos or Thesaloniki. I'd love to come back after my tour <3 THANKS !

Food is rather average, I personally didn't like it, it's a shame

Super cute restaurant in idyllic Kloppenheim, but the food is not overwhelming. The gyros were very tasty, but the calamari was relatively tasteless. The bifteki was okay, but I've definitely had better ones. The only thing to praise here is the garlic pita bread. This was very successful.

We had dinner at Poseidon yesterday and had a lovely evening. It's lovely to sit in the courtyard. Food was tasty and the portions were attractively large. The waitresses were fine and polite. There was still Kerb that day and we had a fun evening. Unfortunately, the fact that you can only pay in cash is a big minus. Sorry, that doesn't work at all and is a reason not to eat there anymore

Great ambience, super friendly staff and very tasty food. So family friendly ♥️ my child was allowed to run around all over the restaurant and when he started following the employees, he was put on an apron so that he felt like he belonged. 🥰 Nobody has ever handled it so well. ❤️

Solid Greek restaurant that moved from Bierstadt to Kloppenheim a few years ago. Service very attentive and nice. Food as you imagine it. Today because of the humid, very bad air. At least some ventilation or air conditioning would have been great. Unfortunately, prices are normally high. Parking situation is not ideal because it is in the middle of town. Basically it's worth a visit.

Best Greek restaurant with traditional cuisine in all of Wiesbaden. The Metaxa sauce is particularly delicious. The owners are particularly child-friendly and always accommodating! We just love Poseidon ❤️

It's a Greek village, you can see that. One of the biggest minus points. No card payment. What's that supposed to mean? The atmosphere in the restaurant is not inviting and intended to linger. There is no ventilation and therefore bad air. All the clothes smelled like kitchen. The haze hung throughout the entire restaurant. The worst and most disappointing thing was the Metaxa sauce. No more Maggie cream sauce. And that for 3€. However, the garlic dip was very tasty. Food was at the table quickly and the service was also very nice. If you don't have anything else in town, it's ok. I would advise against traveling to Kloppenheim specifically for this.

€3 for a salty cream sauce out of the bag? A real shame. Metaxa sauce is something that is a must at every good Greek meal. Here's a suggestion: Metaxa sauce (ingredients for 4 servings): - 1 red pepper - 1 white onion - 1 clove of garlic - 2 sprigs of rosemary - 2 tbsp olive oil - 1 tbsp tomato paste - 150 ml Metaxa (Greek brandy spirit) - 200 ml vegetable stock - 200 g whipped cream - 2 tsp oregano - 2 teaspoons sweet paprika powder - 1 teaspoon sugar - Salt pepper preparation 1. Wash the peppers, remove the stems and dice finely. Peel the onion and garlic clove and also dice finely. 2. Wash the rosemary, strip the leaves from the twigs and chop finely. 3. Heat olive oil in a pot. Add the peppers, onions, garlic, rosemary and tomato paste and fry everything briefly. Deglaze with Metaxa, vegetable stock and whipped cream. Add oregano, paprika powder and sugar and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes. 4. Puree the sauce finely with a hand blender. Season with salt and pepper.

Very good Greek restaurant with nice service. The ambience inside is okay, but unfortunately I can't rate it outside. Overall, definitely worth a visit because of the good food. We will come back.

Crazy boss treats employees as if they were slaves..... a social tone towards the guests was now disrespectful with a dog because he is no longer welcome either... my tip is to avoid this location

Friendly service, food tasted solid. Deduction because an extra portion of tzatziki cost €5.50. Overall, the price-performance ratio was not entirely appropriate.

Greek cuisine exactly the way you want it. The food is really good and tasty, just as you would imagine Greek cuisine and it comes on time. The friendly service is very attentive and the landlord Goran is really TOP. He took us back to the city on several trips at night - after once again no bus came. Absolutely amazing!!!

A great place with really good food. The staff has always been very friendly and open to us. The bifteki is even freshly prepared in the kitchen every time. Also the calamari... you can still taste the good old cuisine. The portions are really great for the price! Anyone who would like to eat good and tasty food is in good hands here.

Service very friendly. Food delicious. Portions can be a bit larger for the price. We were there with several people and everything was supposed to come together, but unfortunately that wasn't the case. My food didn't come at all (I only ate the starter and saved money 😀).

Spent a lovely evening at Poseidon. I particularly emphasize the Juwezi. Lots of lamb, great taste, I can only recommend it. I was a little disappointed with the semolina pudding in puff pastry with ice cream, but I also expected something different. Service is very friendly, but takes time. It was a bit warm in the living room, unfortunately it wasn't possible to ventilate. But otherwise everything is fine.

Super leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Auf den ersten Blick wirken die Preise hoch, allerdings bekommt man dafür eine angemessene Portion und der Geschmack ist auch super. Das einzige was komisch ist, dass man dort nicht mit Karte bezahlen kann. Darauf wird man allerdings ausreichend hingewiesen ;)

Seit mehreren Jahren Gast hier, die Qualität und der Geschmack des Essens ist stets hervorragend. Der Service ist auch in hektischen Zeiträumen und Situationen immer freundlich, zuverlässig und hat immer ein Lächeln für die Gäste übrig. Für mich persönlich ist dies das beste griechische Restaurant in der Umgebung.

Ich habe den Gyros mit Krautsalat und fritierten Kartoffeln gegessen. Dazu habe ich 0,25 Rose´ Retzina getrunken. Der Gyros schmeckte hervorragend die Portionsgrösse war angemessen. Ganz besonders habe ich mich über den Rose´ Retzina gefreut; war es doch seit 1995 das erste mal, das ich diesen Wein in einem griechischen Restaurant gefunden habe (Danach schaue ich immer als erstes wenn ich beim Griechen die Weinkarte aufschlage). Der Service war freundlich aufmerksam und diskret. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Essen super, Ambiente innen Naja außen gemütlich. Telefonisch kein Durchkommen. Und Urlaub könnte man ja auch auf der HP vermerken. Dann fährt keiner mehr umsonst hin.

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr leckeres Essen. Überforderung bei Nachbestellung von Beilagen, wenn die Hauptspeise schon da ist. Wäre gar kein Problem, wenn es kommuniziert worden wäre, dass es gerade nicht machbar ist, weil alles frisch gemacht wird. Es war wirklich sehr viel Betrieb und die Küche hat unser Essen für 10 Leute super koordiniert und gleichzeitig gebracht.

Gut besucht für Donnerstagabend, Lokal und Aussenbereich voll. Die Bedienung könnte etwas aufmerksamer. Preis, Leistungsverhältnis: Gut
