An exceptional Greek restaurant with a great menu and excellent cuisine. You should expect to spend a bit more, but you get truly excellent quality and very friendly service.

We were a group of 10 people. The food is typically Greek, but far from your average tzatziki and gyros. The dishes are truly special, ranging from delicious little bites to share to large platters. The ingredients are top quality, with something for everyone. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is like a traditional Greek taverna. We highly recommend this restaurant and commend the chef!

Incredibly friendly service, charming decor, and fantastic food. We had saganaki and the cold appetizers for one person, along with a meat skewer and bifteki as our main course. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. A completely different experience from the "usual" Greek restaurants. The service was truly friendly and welcoming. Thank you! A very fine, small, and tastefully decorated restaurant with upscale Greek cuisine. It's nothing like your average Greek restaurant. Friendly staff, a stylish ambiance, and truly perfect food that's also affordable. I had one of the best grilled octopuses I've ever had here—melt-in-the-mouth tender and with a unique flavor. Even the South American original, "Pulpo a la pareilla" in Chile, couldn't compare. This restaurant comes highly recommended. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

Today we took another short trip from Heidelberg to Wiesbaden. As always, we went to Kavos. The atmosphere and the food are simply fantastic. The staff and the owner are lovely people. We'll definitely be back.

It is too dark inside- the light is very poor. The mixed plates with appetizers are not very well combined and the amount of dzadziki is too small.

We always drive from Frankfurt to Wiesbaden. We like the atmosphere in the old town. Everything here is small and cramped, but very comfortably furnished. The dishes are very individually prepared and taste very good. They also offer different options than those found at standard Greek restaurants.

A piece of Greece in the heart of Wiesbaden. Yesterday was not only our first time at the restaurant; the food was great as always, but what caught our attention was the new face in the service department. It's completely unacceptable. She was already thrown out of Weihenstephaner because she was bad, and we were served by her. She was totally unprofessional and rude. Sorry, we won't go there anymore.

The restaurant is very atmospheric, and the food is exceptionally delicious. The wide selection is particularly impressive, and even though the octopus is sometimes prepared in a slightly different way, it remains delicious nonetheless. The only downside: guests should be aware that Visa cards are not accepted here. Unfortunately, you only find out when the bill arrives – and this is precisely when the most unpleasant and almost humiliating situation for a tourist or visitor arises. If you don't have enough cash on you, you suddenly feel very uncomfortable and disappointed. This is especially frustrating for foreign guests who often travel without large amounts of cash. I think it would be fair if the restaurant clearly stated this information so that no one finds themselves in such an embarrassing situation.

The service was excellent, the food really good and special. Different from the typical Greek restaurant experience. For me personally, it was a bit too cramped.

The food should be good, so called in advance and reserved a table for 8 p.m. We were on time because the restaurant was full, unfortunately there were no tables available yet. We agreed with the boss to wait around 15-30 minutes. We rounded the corners and came back after about 15 minutes and politely stood in front of the door for another 15 minutes. In between, other guests came and asked for tables. When one table became free and guests who arrived long after us were allowed to sit down, we left. It doesn't work at all.

Relaxing atmosphere, very flavorful food, and AMAZING deserts.

I wanted to eat there with my 10 year old daughter, unfortunately it didn't work out. All the well-occupied neighboring tables with more customers who came after us were served and we waited 40 minutes until I complained about where the food was because my child was hungry. The ladies at the next table were embarrassed by the situation and wanted to offer my daughter something, which we politely declined. We then left because nothing had been done yet. I'm Greek myself. But here, apart from an arrogant arrogance, I felt neither the Greek hospitality nor the warmth of heart that I know from my people. Went without eating. Too bad. We can't say anything about the quality of the food.

Gently modernized Greek cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. The service is unobtrusive but always present. A super spicy saganaki spoiled the positive overall impression a little. On the upper floor, it is not advisable to use the middle tables, as you sink into an uncomfortable podium to eat. However, the overall impression was positive overall, we will be back.

Food was quite good. My Greek colleague absolutely loved the food and even packed up food for her family so I guess this would qualify for a great Greek restaurant. The atmosphere was great & so was the service.

Slightly upscale Greek restaurant

The slightly different / more upscale Greek. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly and attentive service and the most important thing: very tasty and high quality food. You don't get all the standard dishes here like at any other Greek restaurant, but that's exactly what sets it apart from the rest. The prices seem a bit high at first, but they are almost normal these days. And when you leave here, you definitely don't feel like you paid too much. Can only recommend it.

The food was absolutely amazing!! Traditional Greek dishes form the basis for a modern reinterpretation that knows how to delight. Attentive, very warm, but never intrusive staff look after the guest in an atmospheric and pleasantly amphora-free ambience. An experience!

We were here recently for a company Christmas party. We were warmly welcomed and everyone was helped with our wardrobe. There is even something cute for the children on the stairs. The ambience is rather modern, which looks very neat, but is not that appealing to me personally. I found the pictures of the owner's family all the more beautiful and honest in their external appearance. The pictures exude the pride and honor of the family, which certainly came to Wiesbaden a long time ago to start a life away from home. I think it would be nice if the entire restaurant exuded the flair that prevails in the upper staircase. We had announced/ordered the dishes in advance. Some of us had ordered an appetizer, others didn't. When asked, they said there was an appetizer on the house. The fact that this didn't happen in the end is bearable. What wasn't nice, however, was that it took time to find out and communicate this. I was hungry and wanted to order pide and tzatziki anyway. If the confusing note hadn't been there at the beginning and if the colleagues who had ordered a starter had been asked straight away whether they would like it served before or with the main course, it would have been fine. The food, however, was excellent. The tzatziki was less traditionally served with an ice cream scoop. The pide was freshly baked and extremely tasty. The amount of tzatziki was just right, we had to order pide again. The meat skewers were made from good, tender meat and were deliciously seasoned. Just like the Bifteki. You can order wine from your own estate and the water is served in your own bottle. It didn't surprise me for a moment that the restaurant was so busy. Well, the prices are in the upper middle range, but the food is worth every cent and extremely tasty. A warm greeting to the kitchen again! What surprises me, but seems to be common practice now: There is no small Uozo on the house when it comes to numbers. In general with Greeks and also with the prices quoted, I find this to be appropriate and generally a nice gesture. For a small group of the last guests there was this or an espresso on the house. The only annoying thing was that at the end there were unpaid items left over. It's not nice that this happens among colleagues. It wasn't so nice that a very dear colleague paid the remaining bill in the end. The service should have kept a better eye on this. But the service could also have acted more confidently. (e.g. to name the open items in good time to the last 10 guests before billing and, in case of doubt, to be able to take over the unpaid points yourself as a restaurant.) We were visiting our son in Wiesbaden and had dinner last night at Kavos. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. We highly recommend Kavos and will definitely be back.

Today I enjoyed the most amazing dish. Salmon was super delicioso.

We were there today with a larger group and we all loved it. The ouzo as an aperitif is not a standard ouzo but has a fine taste. The starters were just as tasty and plentiful, the prawns in tomato sauce were sensational. One of the best tomato sauce I've eaten. Very fruity in taste. The meat of the main course was fried to perfection and very juicy. The service was always very friendly and attentive. Thank you for a lovely evening. We'd love to come back.

A very nice Greek restaurant in the center of Wiesbaden. The owner Kosta is very attentive and friendly. Likewise the staff. The food is very authentic we have in Greece. You won't find gyros here. Instead, there are delicious mezethes (small dishes) such as the cold starter variation or shrimp in tomato sauce, feta saganaki and lamb chops. As a Greek myself, I can only recommend this and it is one of my favorite restaurants. The prices are slightly higher due to the location, the surrounding restaurants are also in this price range. You can sit both inside and outside. In cold days it is converted into a winter garden. Thanks to Kosta and his team.

A little Greek gem in the heart of Wiesbaden. The food was very tasty and finally not like the "standard Greek" where everything is drowned in cheese and sauce. The portion size was just right for us. I don't need a plate full of food that would immediately make me lose my appetite. We were brought extra bread for the starter, which was not charged for. The espresso macchiato at the end also tasted very good. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive.

The boss is very arrogant, surly and behaves like “a boss”. Only he is allowed to collect and take orders. For this reason we had to wait forever until we could order or pay. The food was okay, but the prices - including for the drinks - were completely unfounded! Even for Wiesbaden standards it is simply outrageous! And the fact that you have to order bread as a side dish with a starter (and of course have to pay for it) is simply not possible!

The reserved table was not yet free, we were parked at the counter with the menus and forced to order drinks several times. After 20 minutes our table was free and after we were seated we were forced to order again. The baby calamar are squid tubes cut into strips, we know it completely differently. The gentleman at the next table was just as irritated. The bread was dry and chewy. After paying we got an ouzo on the house, unfortunately one of the glasses was cracked. As we were leaving, the boss said goodbye and he was a bit irritated that we weren't happy with our stay in the restaurant. I expect a lot more in this price range.

First night in weisbarden and wanted somewhere to eat, stumbled across Kavos. I was greeted by a smile and friendly service. I wen for the squid which was fantastic, would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a Greek dinner out.

The ultimate Greek experience outside of Greece. New from Greece and do you miss gourmet food combined with seafood? In portions that fill you up? Satisfactory selection of seafood and meat, excellent service. Every dish is delicious, while the only thing that seems to be adapted to German standards is the tzatziki, which lacks a bit of garlic. The ouzo produced by their own distillery is also recommended. Definitely recommended. Prices apparently moderately high to high (see price list posted on the store's website).

After a short walk around the Dern grounds, we got a tip to eat at the Greek restaurant Kavos. The dishes are great. Highly recommended by us.

I made a reservation for myself and my wife a few days in advance. Worked great. Then the food and drinks were ordered from a very polite, friendly waiter who, by the way, took all the orders from all the guests and still kept an eye on when other guests had a request. Hats off...that's a rare experience. Hence the service full marks. Now to the food, I have rarely eaten such well-prepared lamb and my wife said it was the best prawns she has ever had in Germany (FYI we travel as much as possible). I won't even talk about the other food. Therefore full marks here too. Ambiance, well, made the best of the location that you can do... but we felt very comfortable. Yes, the price may be intimidating, but it is justified. We've eaten more expensively and cheaper, but it wasn't that good. 👍 I won't say anything about the price because we enjoyed it.

Very tasty and tender lamb souvlaki, not the usual leather sole consistency. Potato chips very spicy and delicious. First class tzatziki. Shrimp meatballs top. Children's meal was fully eaten.

1 dish was good, the other bad. The quality of the pork was borderline, very dry, the potatoes were also very dry, I have never had such poor quality pork from a Greek restaurant. Completely overpriced for this dish. What bothered us most was that we were told that bread was part of the meal and we could mix 2 types. It was clear to us that it would be billed as one starter, but not that two would be billed.
