The visit to the Acropolis was a real treat for all the senses. I was thrilled by the lovingly prepared dishes and the unusual variety on the menu. What was particularly notable was the child-friendly atmosphere that the restaurant exudes. You can relax wonderfully on the cozy sun terrace, you just have to block out the road noise a little. Not so bad. The stylish ambience of the restaurant and the impressive wine selection are the icing on the cake. The selection of starters and the high quality of the ingredients deserve a special mention. During our visit, another guest experienced a health emergency and the staff showed an impressive response. They immediately dropped everything to help. This experience only strengthened my impression of the Acropolis. It is a place where you can feel good not only culinary but also personally.

Delicious food, albeit with more bones than lamb on the plate and a hefty price for it. The giant beans and the shrimp pan were great.

The visit was fine. We had a business lunch there. Food was also ok, although simple. Staff was new and a bit overwhelmed at times. Overall, acceptable with room for improvement. Nothing more / nothing less. Hence a benevolent 3 stars.

First time for me in Wiesbaden. This restaurant had charmed us with traditional greek style and Disney. I have got kebap with metaxa sauce, cheese and potato chips (NR43) and it had been one of the best dishes I have ordered ever! I definitely will come back soon for more! Nice Greek restaurant with delicious food. The staff are very friendly. We ordered baby calamari on salad and biftecki. Both were very tasty and the portions were nice and big.

Akropolis offers a cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and outstanding Greek cuisine. The food was delicious, and the dessert was the perfect end to the meal. Akropolis also offers a weekly card, that features a variety of traditional dishes and desserts!!

We were there this afternoon. Service is very friendly. Starter plate disappointing. Grill plate without words, no taste. And the side salad was the very last bit of coleslaw with a lot of oil and no taste. No comparison to its predecessor. Never again. We have NEVER had such bad food at a Greek restaurant.

As a starter I ordered a Greek farmer's bratwurst with a light beer. The sausage was the most unusual appetizer I have ever had in a Greek restaurant, but also one of the tastiest. The main course is classic gyros with a glass of red wine. The gyro was finely sliced ​​and slightly crispy, perfect for my taste. The coleslaw was noticeably freshly shredded and so delicious that I took the rest home with me. The red wine was a real discovery. Deep dark, powerful and full-bodied. If you don't order it as a red wine lover, it's your own fault. I would love to come back.

Das alte Akropolis war für mich der beste Grieche der Stadt. Nun haben neue Inhaber übernommen. Die Karte ist deutlich kleiner geworden, die Preise haben sich moderat erhöht. Was sich m.E. nicht moderat verändert hat sind die Portionsgrössen. Ich dachte: Grillplatte. Was kann da schiefgehen. Der Salat vorab: ein recht trockener Krautsalat. Meine Jungs mochten ihn nicht und haben ihn wortlos weitergeschoben. Das Gyros: ein kleines Häufchen sehr klein geschnitten, keine größeren Stücke. Tzaziki: lecker aber zu wenig. Schweineschnitzel: war aus - es gab Huhn. Fazit: wir werden uns einen neuen Lieblingsgriechen suchen. Empfehlung: lieber die Preise ein wenig mehr erhöhen und dafür andere Portionen und einen phantasievolleren Salat.

We stayed with a youth sports team from April 12th, 2024 to April 14th, 2024 for the German U16 Volleyball Championship in Wiesbaden. After the first evening in an Italian restaurant ended in complete disaster, we decided to go to this Greek restaurant on Saturday evening. Registration via email contact, callback from the restaurant to confirm went smoothly 👍👍👍… Ambiance: A nice little restaurant awaits us, clean, tidy, the table was prepared for us and you immediately feel warmly welcomed👍👍👍 Service: We were greeted warmly, cards were immediately handed to us and the first drinks were served👍👍👍 The food order was taken quickly and for everyone (19 people) and then the starters started very quickly. The staff was always nice and accommodating and always had a nice saying, which made the atmosphere very relaxed 👍👍👍 Eat: Everything was freshly prepared in a really short time. The food was deliciously seasoned with the typical Greek spices, the plates were not completely overloaded, but sufficiently filled. Great place to eat. Food was tasty. English menus, friendly staff, and great service. Spend only €37 for food and drinks for two people. The only downside was no parking on the premises. However, we parked a block down the street for free.

Well attended on Saturday evening, luckily a table was reserved. Appetizer platter good mix and tasty. Bifteki as well. We will be back.

Delicious, fair price and very child-friendly! Also recommended with and during Corona and no surcharges - great! Update 2024: now new operators with a changed map. Unfortunately we don't like it that much anymore 😕 Gyros in particular are quite over-seasoned, appetizer platter is good average, farmer's bratwurst is not our thing, but schnitzel is okay 👍 The operator is still very nice and hopefully the service process will work out!

Had a very good lunch for a decent price. Very tasty and all the food that I saw looked tasty and well prepared. I will eat here again and I will give it a try for dinner also.

Unfortunately I can only say that I found the food too expensive. There are no vegetables with the main courses. For tzatziki 6 euros is also a house number. The menu selection was also very clear for a Greek. We ordered lamb and were surprised that it was gratinated with cheese. No beans. Then it was very loud from the neighboring tables that we couldn't have a conversation. So we'd rather visit the Greeks in Delkenheim.

Simply incredibly good food at fair prices, great atmosphere in a beautifully decorated dining room. Very authentic and friendly owners who value quality above all else - and you can see and taste it! For me it's not only by far the best Greek restaurant, but also generally one of the best locations in and around Wiesbaden.

Bad service and the order All dishes were not positive. Ordered non-alcoholic wheat and received light beer. The food and the espresso were lukewarm. Furthermore, the seasoning was missing from the food.

Nicht gut, weder das Essen noch die Bedienung. Nicht kinderfreundlich, kein Wickeltisches und nur 1 Kinderstuhl, ebenso kein Spielzeug für die kleinsten Gäste vorhanden.

Wir gehen schon seit sehr vielen Jahren ins Akropolis in Erberheim. Nun ist das Akropolis unter neuer Leitung. Am 05.01.2024 waren wir dort. Auch unter der neuen Leitung waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen wieder!

In neuer Hand....den alten Charme nicht verloren

Das neue Team vom Restaurant Akropolis wirkt erst seit kurzem und macht dennoch so viel sehr richtig: Angefangen von den sehr schmackhaften und authentischen Speisen, dem sehr aufmerksamen und freundlichem Service bis hin zum sehr stimmigen Ambiente und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. Fazit: Ich komme gerne wieder.

Jeder, der die griechische Küche mag wird hier seinen Meister finden! Absolut überragendes Essen, nettes Ambiente und Preis-Leistung stimmt ebenfalls. Überzeugen sie sich selbst am besten

Ich hatte ganz in der Nähe ein Hotel gebucht und keine Lust mehr nach Wiesbaden rein zu fahren. Habe dann bei einem Abendspaziergang auf die Karte des Akropolis geworfen und bin spontan eingekehrt. Der Chef selber begrüßte mich sehr herzlich, brachte schnell die Karte und das von mir geoorderte Wasser. Die Karte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas ... eine tolle Auswahl an warmen und kalten griechischen Tapas. Der Bauernsalat präsentierte sich super frisch und üppig, mit Essig und Öl schmackhaft angemacht ... frische Tomaten, Oliven, Gurken, Feta ... super lecker. Dazu Octupus ... mir hat´s ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Eine gute Adresse ... erhliche Küche, in der Wert auf frische Zutaten gelegt wird. Der Service ausgesprochen aufmerksam, schnell, sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Ich komme gerne wieder! Vielen Dank.

Von außen eher unscheinbar, innen aber angenehm modern eingerichtet ohne den oft üblichen pseudo-griechischen Schnickschnack. Der Service ist freundlich und schnell, das Essen sehr gut, frisch zubereitet und die Portionen reichlich. Nach der Vorspeisenplatte haben wir zu zweit beide den Hauptgang nicht geschafft, einpacken zum Mitnehmen war kein Problem. Die Preise sind angemessen im üblichen Rahmen, zum Abschluss gab einen kalten Ouzo aufs Haus! Immer wieder gerne!

Gutes Essen, nettes Personal und Preise stimmen auch. Werden wir öfter aufsuchen.

Service war super, essen hat mir leider nicht so gut geschmeckt. Das Keftedaki auf der Poseidon Platte hat extrem „viechich“ geschmeckt. Portion war auch recht klein aber geschickt auf dem Teller verteilt, dass es nach etwas mehr aussieht.

Angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre im von der Familie geführten Akropolis. Sehr freundlicher und guter Service bei guter Auswahl. Uns hat es sehr gut geschmeckt (auch gutes Weinangebot) und das Akropolis ist eine klare Empfehlung. Kartenzahlung möglich.

Unfortunately, the octopus and calamari are frozen therefore have no flavor. The salad and appetizers are served in nice plates and are good sized portions. The service is friendly. But a Greek restaurant serving sea food with no flavour is not a good thing.

Mooie kaart met veel keus. Super lekker gegeten. Keurig, net, mooi restaurant. Is van de weg af bijna niet te zien. Zeer aardige bediening.

The owner gave me the WRONG dish on purpose.I ordered grilled calamari,he got them breaded since they were so thin&small.LIED about it. The entree ,we gor onl 1 wine leef for 2 persons, and 2 ,yep TWO faba beans!NEVER AGAIN Inhaber hat mir paniert calamari ,stat GRILLED wegen calamari waren so kleine und dunn. Er sagte, die Bestellung war sei korrekt - ER LOGund verließ den Tisch. Als Vorspiese für 2 personen wir bekomen 1 Wine Blatte und 2,JA ZWEI Bohnen. NIE meher!

Atendimento muito bom o espaço muito requintado e os pratos com um nivel muito acima da media. Cozinha greco-alemã com muito requinte recomendo vivamente.
