Worst place at train station. Say they're done in 5 min but take 20. Don't go here if you want to catch train (usual reason why people are at a train station)

I ordered a smash burger with bacon and they got my order wrong. I called to let them know that the order is wrong and the lady said that I was lying and that there’s nothing they can do to help me, I was served by the lady with the red curly hair who I think is the one who answered my call too, that is the worst service I have ever received it is nonsense and very terrible customer service. Maybe train the staff to know how to deal with customers better. I am not ordering from here ever again.

There's quite a difference between what you order and what you get. It's just something for drunk tourists passing by.

We are customers from other units of this restaurant, and this is the only one where we’ve had a problem. I don’t know the name of the attendant, but I was there on November 30th at around 9 p.m. The machines weren’t working, so I had to place my order with the attendant. He seemed very annoyed about having to do his job and almost yelled at me. That was already bad, but when I went to pick up my order, he looked at me with so much anger, threw my order at me, and started speaking loudly in another language. I don’t know what he was saying, but it definitely didn’t seem good. I will definitely not buy there again as long as this man is around.

Thirty minutes apparently isn't enough time to prepare a single burger, as the woman behind the grill couldn't cook more than two burger patties at a time. I ended up having to leave without my order, otherwise I would have missed my train. The server wiped the sweat from her brow with her palm and then immediately started handling the ingredients. And the way she treated customers was appalling...

My boyfriend ordered a burger for the train ride. In the end, we walked to the train without the burger, but €26 poorer. We thought 30 minutes would be enough time for fast food – unfortunately, we were wrong. The service was unfriendly, unprofessional, and extremely slow. We're extremely disappointed.

The food isn't bad, but it's useless if, even after correcting your order twice, you discover on the train that half your food is missing. On top of that, the server was incredibly unfriendly and practically threw the forgotten fries at me.

I ordered and paid for a vegan currywurst at the terminal. When they picked it up, they told me I had to take a regular sausage because they were out of vegan options. They said they couldn't give me a refund. After a long discussion and some threats, they finally gave in. Last visit.

First, the positive: the burger was quite tasty. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. There's a paper sign on the ordering machines that says "No grilled chicken." After selecting the meal deal, I unfortunately discovered it wasn't really a meal deal, as I would have had to pay an additional €2.50 for the mandatory drink. There was also an extra charge for fries, bringing the final price to around €19. (I ended up ordering the single burger instead). My receipt was taken immediately upon pickup. Throughout my entire visit, I got the impression that the restaurant's primary goal is to squeeze every last penny out of its customers. The restaurant looks decent at first glance. But as soon as you approach, you're met with unfriendly, untrained staff. The pricing is deliberately misleading, and the burger is overpriced (though it was alright).

Extremely expensive for the quality. Tastes below average. The service I received was abysmal and unfriendly. Never again.

No fork for the incorrectly ordered double currywurst. Furthermore, my number was simply forgotten. I waited 20 minutes for my order and almost missed my train. I then had to leave without my order, and without any communication from the staff. I should be compensated for this. Absolutely not recommended if you're pressed for time. Unfortunately, the wait was very long. At order time, about 5-6 other people were waiting for their numbers. Even so, it took 30 minutes before we received our food. When our number was finally called, the employee snatched the order slip from my hand, crumpled it up, and dropped it on the floor in the preparation area before finally starting to cook. The bun tasted artificial. All in all, a deeply disappointing and unprofessional experience.

This place is absolutely not recommended. It's a total rip-off. I ordered a double currywurst with fries, but I only got one and paid more than the regular currywurst with fries costs. When I asked the server, he claimed it was a double currywurst. But I ordered it on Friday and received it without any problems. Why not today? The staff were also incredibly unfriendly. These days, you can get more and better food for that price elsewhere, as the taste wasn't really to my liking.

I ordered burgers and nuggets today (October 26th) at 5:55 p.m. At 6:20 p.m. (25 minutes later), I still hadn't had any food. Despite repeatedly asking how long it would take for the food to arrive, I was rudely turned away. In the end, I had to sprint to my train without any food to catch it. In the end, I spent €15 for nothing... I'm extremely disappointed because some people who ordered significantly after me got their food. But other people also seemed to be waiting more than 20 minutes for their food. Absolutely not worthy of a quick snack at the station. I'm really annoyed.

My order included two double bacon burgers and one grilled chicken burger. Unfortunately, the order I received was completely out of line with what I expected! Years ago, I went to the Pommesfreunde (a French fries shop) in Pasing. Today, I would have been able to, and I felt like it again. I went there, and there were two of the panes used to lock the doors overnight, which were chipped, but still intact. A man was standing inside. Was it open or closed? 🤔 I approached, looked at the screens, which was getting expensive. Then an employee came over, and instead of saying something normal, she shooed me away with her hands, and then followed it up with an unfriendly "CLOSED." You probably can't do anything about the glass, but you could at least behave a little better...

I ordered a burger and fries for €14.40 on January 24, 2025. The order was placed at 1:31 PM. At 1:46 PM, I still hadn't had any food, so I went to the counter and said I didn't have any food, I had to catch the train, and they had one more minute. Then I had to leave. If they couldn't make it, I wanted my money back. After a minute, I said I wanted my money back. I said this three times and was always ignored, saying it would only take two more minutes. At 1:48 PM, I left to catch my train, which leaves at 1:50 PM. I didn't get any food. That's not what I consider fast food, as advertised by them. An email to Pommesfreunde describing the situation and again demanding a refund never received a response!

The fries were absolutely no better than other fast food restaurants; the price is significantly too high for the quality and atmosphere. I wouldn't go there again. Edit: I'd like to point out that Pommes Freunde tried to remove this review for "defamation." I had to justify myself to Google and provide proof of my visit. My friends and I certainly won't give a second chance to places that simply remove bad feedback instead of improving. Shame on you!

Excellent food and staff, but not a lot of place to eat. I suggest take it to go

An absolute outrage! What happened here defies description. My friend ordered and paid for three cheeseburgers – but he received only one. When asked, they didn't help him; instead, they lied, argued, and simply denied the problem. Instead of being customer-focused, they only gave rude, disrespectful answers. The employees behaved completely inappropriately, argued loudly, and lacked any sense of decency. The result: paid, cheated, insulted. A blatant rip-off, the likes of which one rarely experiences. Anyone who goes here not only risks their money, but also the most disgraceful treatment. French fries friends? Better yet, French fries enemies. Never again!

€10.95 for the burger is ridiculous. Not recommended. Better to go to McDonald's a few meters away.

A rip-off. My food was given to someone else. After a long wait, when I asked, I was accused of stealing the receipt. Even after presenting my online banking receipt, they continued to argue. The staff were terrible, and the food didn't even taste good anymore. While I was waiting, I noticed that no one ever paid attention to whether a receipt was being shown or not. It's a disgrace.

The menu and the actual food are drastically different. The patty is really thin and poorly cooked, so it's dry and small. There's just a bun, cheese, and the patty. The sauce is just a little sprinkled in the middle. The cheeseburger is 9.95 euros, which is terrible value. You're better off getting a sandwich at the bakery next door or going to McDonald's. Drinks are over 3 euros, but you can get them for around 2 euros at the supermarket across the street.

My fries were partially burnt, and the spring onions were chopped way too coarsely. The staff were really annoyed because they had to shout out the numbers because the screen was broken. I'd rather wait a little longer for my food than spend money on something like that.

Complicated ordering process. My €13 burger meal turned into €18 because I left out a cheese sauce somewhere and I assumed a drink was included in the meal (!!!) – but it wasn't. The burger (double cheeseburger) was very good, fresh, warm, and the bun was very good without overpowering the rest. BUT: the place calls itself "Pommes Freunde" (Friends of Pommes), and what they serve as fries is absolutely unacceptable: soggy, greasy, something sloppy and unkind, peppered into a bag. No thanks. The burgers are really tasty and big. I had the chili cheeseburger, and it was absolutely amazing. They came with good fries and a side of sauce. And the good thing is, they're not small sauces like at MCS, but rather a really decent portion. So, a really good place!

The display didn't show the completed orders, and there was no indication of this defect. The red sausage tastes and looks like a Vienna sausage, i.e., a boiled sausage. Everything tastes okay, but I think it's way too expensive for that.

There is a very rude person, she'd make faces even you just tell the order, nothing extra. It wasn't even crowded and she was being rude to every customer. Not gonna visit here again. Any other branch is better.

I have to say it's quite difficult to rate. Generally speaking, the food was good, no question about it. However, I find it incredibly confusing. It's very difficult to tell what's vegan and what isn't. That's why I'm not giving it all the stars because I think this definitely needs to be improved. Scam, avoid at all cost. Lost $20 euros because they didn't put full order in the take away. The company decided to delete my first review... that should speak for itself, but here's the brief summary: My visit was a test of patience: My order was completely forgotten (and when I asked about it after 30 minutes, they responded unfriendly, of course), and then the wait dragged on interminably. The process was chaotic, the food was mediocre at best – burgers boring, fries soft. Friendliness? Unfortunately, none of it. A poor overall package for the price, and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

The operator is attempting to delete a review from January 2025 for alleged defamation. I have now filed an objection to the deletion and submitted the card payment receipt (booking text: Pommes M HBF Kiosk GmbH KMuenchen 000) from the banking app, and have informed Google that this is apparently not an isolated incident.

Of three ordering terminals, two are broken, and the line is endless at the third. I try to order at the checkout, but the cashier fobs me off. I tell him the terminals are almost all broken, and he aggressively waves his hands toward the terminals. "Don't order here, order there." I repeat that the terminals are broken, and he continues to aggressively wave his hands. Mind you, there's an EC card machine at the checkout that's active and can be used to pay for orders. A little tip for management: Make sure your technology works and hire employees who speak German. PommesFreunde Hauptbahnhof, you're one customer down.

Pommes Freunde is delicious, but you should go to a different location than this one. Removing reviews doesn't necessarily improve the image of this restaurant. Accept the numerous criticisms and improve! This is the only way to effectively combat bad reviews, if you really want to try.

Check your order immediately when you pick it up. Not only is the place completely unhygienic, but they also mix up orders. I ordered a plant-based burger and got double beef and cheese – I can't eat that! Not a single thing about my order was right! From the outside, the small grill looks quite appealing. Ordering and payment are done via the screen. In your haste, you forget to check reviews. The poor Bacon Smash Burger, whose name has been misused here. The bacon was tough and chewy and far from crispy. Smash was completely missing. The bun was industry standard. Only my extra chili for €0.50 was worth the money. Shoemaker, stick to your guns, fries are probably okay.

1 star – Tasteless on every level. I grabbed a burger there in a hurry – then realized on the train that they'd forgotten the Coke and ketchup – at Pommesfreunde, the menu is nothing but disappointment. The "Smash Burger" was a dry pile of cardboard, the fries a culinary salute from a boredom coma. Value for money? A cheeky joke without a punchline. Better to get on the train hungry than full and sour.

Avoid this place at all costs. Total lack of customer service and zero attention to detail. They didn’t even mention that I had to get my own drink from the fridge. Feels like a scam. I ordered the Double Käsegriller and was only given one small sausage instead of two – nothing like the photo on their menu. By the time I got back to my hotel, it was too late to complain. The sausage was tiny and disappointing. The burger was just as bad – burnt, greasy, flat, and thrown together with no care. Later that evening, I ended up with food poisoning. A terrible experience overall. Poor service, misleading menu, and bad food. Don’t waste your time or money here.

This place is a scam. They have attractive pictures of food, and that's it. Workers turn on the crazy loud music and don't care what they are doing at all. They gave my husband completely different food (and, of course, cheaper), not what we ordered. When he approached them, they said that he had not figured it out, everything was correct there, “Chao!” They don’t care and treat customers like idiots. And the food wasn't tasty at all. Avoid this place at any cost. It's better to eat food from a supermarket than here.

The burgers are definitely better quality than McDonald's, but they're about €2 more expensive than comparable meals. I think that's fair. The fries are also good, very similar to McDonald's but nothing special.

Super chaotic and unfriendly, waiting time far too long, sausage was undercooked and almost cold. And the two professionals behind the counter chatted at each other and continually discussed each other while the customers waited and waited. Wouldn't buy anything here again and can absolutely not recommend the shop: It's a fast food snack bar at a train station - so you can assume that many customers have to get to the train and expect prompt service. However, you still have to wait 10-15 minutes for simple fries. There were only two customers in front of me, but the (also unfriendly) employee only thought it necessary to put my fries in the deep fryer after a few minutes and chatted with his colleague during that time. Then I wanted to quickly sprint to my train through the unexpectedly long waiting time, but was given the fries "to go" (as stated when ordering) in a small bowl, from which they fell out when I was handed over... after asking whether I could get a paper bag with it, the employee then did something else until it was convenient for him to give me the paper bag that was directly behind him. I used to really enjoy being with the French fries friends. I only had a short time before the train left. But there was no one at the terminal. After ordering, I saw that there were 3 orders in front of me. But instead of processing the orders, the waitress chatted with friends in front of and behind the counter. In the end I just caught the train. I don't need an experience like that again. Instead of thick fries there were thin ones. And there wasn't a prick either. You won't see me there any more so quickly.

So I won't try that again, last time I had completely burnt sweet potato fries and today cold old fat friends! Totally unfriendly service, the older one with the beard is so unfriendly, unbelievable...and not the first time. Sorry, I'm away!

The location is in a train station, so people have to get to the train. The employees don't seem to care much about that. They prefer to have a chat with friends. Burger was ok, but half of the side dishes were missing. The employees couldn't / didn't want to read or understand me. I took the burger with me because I had to get to the train. Two stars because the taste is ok and so far no food poisoning.
