McDonald's in München

How do you manage to pack the wrong dip three times???? Today, for the third time this month (Dec '25), I got the 20-piece nuggets, among other things. Every single time, unbelievably, they came with dips I didn't order. Order: chili every single time. What did I get: sweet and sour. I don't like that at all. Conclusion: three times sweet and sour, out the window; me: nuggets without dip. Simply the lowest level of service.

What you see and pay for is what you get

I went to McDonald's yesterday and it was really disappointing. The food was lukewarm and tasted kind of stale, like it had been sitting around for a while. The fries were completely soggy and mushy, and the burger was sloppily thrown together. On top of that, the restaurant was pretty dirty; there were napkins everywhere and the tables hadn't been wiped down. The staff seemed stressed and didn't want to answer any questions. For the price, I really expected something better.

The Coke was completely flat – and as if that wasn't enough, we spilled it all over ourselves because of the extremely thin paper cups. The fries were wrinkled, soggy, and far too greasy. I don't even want to talk about the rest of the food. I had no idea a McDonald's could get such bad reviews – but this one has impressively demonstrated that it's possible.

Dirty, very little space to sit

Unfortunately, the staff is very unfriendly. The manager should come to work earlier.

I ordered food and a drink and sat down at a table. When I finished my food and started drinking my cappuccino, an employee, a girl with blonde hair, came up to me and started yelling at me to leave the table, saying that people were eating food at tables, not drinking drinks. There were also a lot of empty tables. It was terrible, and I will never come to this McDonald's again.

Yesterday, November 11th, I was at McDonald's with my friends and we ordered drinks and food. Then the manager from inside, a Pakistani man, stood next to us and didn't say a word. Before that, he sent his server out and wanted us to leave, but without giving a reason! He even called the police, and then we left, but all four of us contacted customer support to complain. Let's see what happens. The toilets stink and are always dirty. I'll give you an update.

One of my favorite McDonald's restaurants, the wait time is very short and the food is simply delicious. Adam and I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was inedible. The food was cold, the fries stale. The shake was lukewarm and not what I ordered (chocolate instead of vanilla). I'll never eat at this restaurant again. Only the woman who cleared the table was nice.

Service was bad, atmosphere and workers too. I will never come here again.

It's often crowded, but the service is fast so you don't notice it, and there's no parking nearby.

Terrible experience. It’s almost impossible to find a clean table, and even when you do, both the chairs and tables are very dirty. The restrooms are in awful condition anyone can walk in, which really shows. Definitely not the standard you’d expect from McDonald’s. 🚫🍟

I was the victim of homophobic abuse because there was an error with my order. I'd like to know what McDonald's will do when people are abused like this for simply asking why there was a problem. All I can say is if you are from the LGBTQ community them stay away

Bad place. They take WAY too long to order. I waited 25 minutes to get my fries and nuggets. They say on the board above that it's ready for pickup, but the food is nowhere near ready. It looks like they're trying to stick to McDonald's official hours, which they definitely don't. This place is completely poorly managed.

This is the best McDonald's in Munich. During another visit, my midnight snack was taken by another stranger who simply placed their credit card on the reader. Today, another fantastic experience. The food was ready in no time, delicious, and the service from the waitresses was 10/10. (The ice cream machine worked!) I should also mention that I haven't tested the restrooms yet; quality testing is still pending.

Burger raining with yellow oil 🤢 and the toilets were the most disgusting I've ever seen, poop everywhere, not been cleaned (ever?). What is up with this place? Do not go

The most disgusting bathrooms I have seen in any restaurant ever, food took a really long time to be brought to the table even though it wasn't busy. The amount of oil dripping from the burger was very off-putting.

Hmm. What can I say? I tend to turn a blind eye sometimes. But Coke without ice. Even though I ordered it specially. Fries were shrunken, wrinkled, and not warm enough to 25 degrees. Burgers had very little residual heat. You're just trying a bit harder. It works at home, I think. I'd say there was nothing to complain about from the service staff. It just doesn't work. Whatever. Ice was delivered. In my opinion, it's been better. To put it bluntly: nobody cares. Sincerely, Robert. I'll be back, and I might be pleasantly surprised.

I often buy the same combination: cheeseburger and wrap in this particular branch. I know what it usually tastes like. Today I'm truly shocked. First of all, I didn't get a cheeseburger, but something with jalapeños (hot peppers)—and since I don't eat spicy food, that was disappointing. I think the girl entered the wrong number when I paid at the cash register, because I've never made a mistake when ordering at the service window. Second, the white sauce in the wrap had a completely different consistency than usual. It's usually more like mayo, but today it tasted and felt like spit, egg whites, or something worse. I had to spit it out and couldn't continue eating. The photo shows the consistency of the sauce. I hope this doesn't make me sick. I'll never go back. I strongly recommend reviewing the product quality and reconsidering the work of the kitchen staff. This incident was not only disappointing, but truly disgusting.

The Big Mac smelled like expired mince. That's never happened to me before. I was offered a replacement, but then I didn't want it anymore. Sorry!

I had a terribile experience, the personal were pretty mean but out of that they gave me the wrong order, and tò my friend as well. After i made them notice that, they were mad tò me and they took away the wrong order and gave me the new One (thing that i have never seen since in everyplace when they male a mistake they give you the wrong and a new right order). There Is a reason why It have 3 stars... Not every McDonald Is the same!

Pretty bad McDonald's. Drinks spilled several times when taking out. The lids used to be better, even though they were made of plastic. At least they didn't leak like with these cardboard lids. The employee immediately wanted to take the receipt out of my hand and then forgot a drink. Luckily, I checked it on the spot. One of the burgers had simply been placed crookedly in the package... The Philly Cheeseburger had a small amount of lettuce in it, even though it wasn't supposed to be topped with lettuce. For that price, I'd rather go to Hans im Glück or Peter Pane. The food was delicious, too. Philly Cheeseburger tasted exactly like a double chili cheeseburger, only without the spice and with a few juicy pieces of onion. The McShaker fries were tasty, the peri-peri sauce and black pepper soy sauce were also delicious. The Samurai Mac was amazingly tasty. Although it had a strange taste at first, the sweetness and spiciness were perfect with the patty and onions. The bread was much tougher than the Philly Burger, though—I noticed this when I cut it in half with a knife and then bit into it. 3 stars for the delicious food. The sauce was spread evenly on the burger. The McDonald's on Maria Probst Street only had a small teaspoon of sauce on the Samurai Burger.

Of course, I don't know what was going on with her today—but as a customer, I think you shouldn't notice things like that. I don't expect overly friendly service in a fast-food restaurant, but you also shouldn't spoil the mood of your customers with unfriendly behavior. I'm not usually a person who writes reviews often, but in this case the experience was so unpleasant that I wanted to take the time to do it. Of course, I don't know what kind of day she may have had, but I don't think customers should be affected by that. I don’t expect overly friendly service at a fast food restaurant, but I also don’t think it’s necessary to make customers feel bad through poor service. I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews, but this experience was unpleasant enough to make me want to write one.

The waitress Anika is very friendly.

The slightly older employee on the shift from July 12th to 13th, 2025, verbally assaulted my friends at 12:30 a.m. after they had placed an order that they hadn't heard. He threw their orders at them and aggressively shouted, "Do you have problems with your ears?" He was completely aggressive and had to be restrained by bystanders. We are considering filing a complaint against him if the store doesn't take action. The perpetrator is approximately 175 cm tall, at least 50 years old, and has short black hair. This store is therefore currently unsafe, especially for women.

I waited a full half hour for a bag of chips. My companion was at her wit's end. The organization was chaotic, and no employee felt responsible.

A normal McDonald's. I was just here to buy ice cream in 29-degree weather. It wasn't really cool inside either, because the door was open. Maybe they could have kept the door closed and used the air conditioning, if available.

The employee treated me with absolute disrespect! I was shouted at and accused of not ordering anything simply because there was no receipt from the machine. I paid €12 and was initially suspected of just wanting to take the food, even though I had a receipt. Only after a long discussion was I given the food I had paid for.

I ordered a Happy Meal. There were no toys. I went to the checkout to point out their mistake. In response, I received accusations that a toy was supposedly being placed there. Central McDonald’s in Schwabing, which is located directly on Wedekindplatz. Thankful for the long opening hours for when you're hungry after a pub crawl or a binge at one of the bars nearby. The audience has everything there, but I always felt safe there thanks to the great staff on site!

I was always very satisfied, but recently the machine has been eating every single coupon. I complained today and the answer I got was: “Yes, the machine at the front always deletes the coupons.” THEN JUST CLOSE THE MACHINE OR HANG A SIGN. Sorry but what kind of service is this? I have been a constant customer but I will never enter this restaurant again.

Very unpleasant staff. The employees are arrogant, throw sauces around carelessly, and exude an unfounded arrogance. When I wanted to inquire about a product in more detail, the man behind the counter became visibly upset and muttered unfriendly things.

I had a really bad experience at this McDonald's. When I got to the checkout, I was initially completely ignored, even though the employees saw me. It took several minutes before someone finally deigned to take my order – and that was without a friendly word. I then had to wait a full 20 minutes for my food, while other customers who ordered after me received theirs much sooner. When I asked, I only received an annoyed response, but no apology or explanation. The entire service was unfriendly and disinterested, as if the employees couldn't care less. I've never experienced anything like this at McDonald's! I absolutely do not recommend this location.

If you want to eat the wrong thing with an (almost) 100% hit rate (regardless of whether you picked it up yourself or delivered it), you've come to the right place!

Loading a bit small. Redeeming vouchers at the machines didn't work when I visited you and tried 8 times. In addition, American Express credit cards are not accepted

Well, aside from the dry cheeseburger and the dirty tables and floor, if you're really hungry, you can get something there. But for me it was a once and never again experience.

I'm not much of a fast food fan, but McCafé's coffee is really the best I know. No matter where in the world. He was particularly good in this Mäcki because it was really hot!

Macces, no particular expectations. You know what you're getting. Everything was ok, sometimes a little bit tricky because guests in particular simply left their rubbish there even though the rubbish bin was 3m away.

I bought something, just got half of the order, when I went to complain, they said they were closed, although I bought before they closed. I complained and they said they were nice to "give me anything". I paid, how are they giving me something?? Worst service I have ever seen.

A perfect experience! I recently visited McDonald’s and absolutely loved it! The service was exceptionally good - the staff were friendly, attentive and incredibly quick. You immediately felt welcome and the order was prepared quickly and without errors. The food was a real dream! The burgers were fresh, hot and perfectly flavored. Also the fries – crispy, golden and salted just right. I was particularly impressed by the quality and cleanliness of the restaurant. Overall it was a completely successful experience. I can highly recommend this McDonald’s and am already looking forward to my next visit! 5 out of 5 stars!

I don't have high expectations of a McDonald's, but the catastrophic service at Münchner Freiheit is second to none.

Cold fries, cold burgers, cold apple turnovers and when I complain about it I just get a shrug. Never had such a bad meal at McDonalds. There was little going on, but cold dishes were still not served. It's unbelievable that the standard isn't maintained.

It’s similar to McDonald’s in other places. There are long queues in front of the two self-service ordering machines. I don’t understand why I don’t use my mobile phone to order. There is a black guy in front of the toilet eagerly waiting to give money to those who enter the toilet. I have never encountered this in Munich. .

the worst experience I've ever had at mc donald chaos messed up orders. They gave us an order, everything piled up, when we got home we found out that they didn't give us 3 x cheeseburgers, so they robbed us of 7 euros, I will never buy there again

It's just terrible, none of the three urinals work, everything is overflowing or broken, the floor looks more like a basin in a sewage treatment plant. After eating I felt sick. Where do the employees want to wash their hands? This MC represents politics in this country, everything is being ruined!

Unfriendly staff and poorly organized

On November 19th, 2024 at around 4:30 p.m. I had a very unpleasant experience in this McDonald's branch. I had lost my order receipt and asked the staff for help. Instead of helping me or politely telling me there was nothing they could do, a dark-haired employee accused me of lying ("You can't lie to us"). I later found the receipt on the floor and was able to pick up my order, but instead of a double chicken burger I only got a plain one. I didn't want to add more stress so I left it at that. Then I noticed a disgusting taste while eating it - there was a yellow substance in the meat. When I reported this, the same employee said in front of all the other customers, "Yes, you eat your food and then complain to get something new." This kind of thing is incredibly disrespectful and unacceptable. In the end I got a new burger, but the behavior and quality in this branch was simply disappointing. I hope that such employees face consequences so that something like this doesn't happen again.

So service is neither helpful nor can you count. The machines are severely flawed. They delete codes. Touch doesn't work. This branch is a disaster. Just cheeky

There is almost always something missing from the order or the wrong items are delivered! It can't be that difficult to pack an order once without errors?! A disgrace!

The food is cold and is bubblegum like. Chicken burgers are hard and taste is bubblegum like you would eat rubber tires

Service concept is zero. They are very unfriendly and arrogant. Fries are always only a little over half full. And if you have it delivered to avoid this service disaster, something is always missing from the order. Pure incompetence of the staff, or a rip-off scam?!? Both very annoying.

Even tough it's a busy McDonald's branch the service was amazing. They never get an order wrong. The branch was also quite clean. Enjoyed a big mac.
