The food is delicious and the portions are big! Be sure to make a reservation because there is not a lot of space.

Had dinner in this restaurant for the first time today. Unfortunately, the food was all too salty. But the audacity was an undercooked piece of pork that should simply be put back on the grill. I marked this piece and directed to get a new one. Unfortunately, this is exactly what came back after a while. There are also rat traps/live traps and poison bait boxes right next to the benches that are easy to reach with one hand.

That's an original four-course menu, gyro plate with salad, a glass of wine and an ouzo (as a welcome)...... the whole thing (including tip) for a mere €20. Today 7 months later the same menu costs €21 but still tasty and still good value for money.

When we were in Bremen, we trusted Google and followed the many positive reviews. That was a good thing too. When we arrived at Plaka, we were allowed to sit down despite not having a reservation - the time limit of a good 90 minutes didn't bother us at all - we were happy to have gotten a seat. Drinks were taken and served very quickly, the same applies to the food, which was also very, very tasty. Price, performance, service - absolutely recommended.

The best Greek in Bremen! Everything tastes delicious and vegetarians also get their money's worth, we usually use the starters as tapas. The service is great and the seating is very comfortable! See you next time :)

Nice little Greek. The food was great with a large selection. The service was very good. The guys know how to do it. What should be emphasized is that everything went very quickly and the glass was never empty. At the beginning there was a delicious ice-cold ouzo.

I ate here for the first time today. I have to say it was great Lecler and the service was super attentive despite the full house. I will definitely come back for my next business appointments in Bremen.

The food we had just ordered to take away was absolutely miserable and inedible. Everything tasted stale and didn't look fresh at all and tasted just as bad. Dried old shrimp and fish, the breaded feta cheese was soggy and floating in the water from the salad and disgustingly old coleslaw. The supposed garlic sauce was just mayonnaise.

When we are occasionally in Bremen, a visit to the Plaka restaurant is a must.

Für uns hat die Qualität leider etwas nachgelassen. Der Salat zum Gyros hatte weder Oliven, noch eine Peperoni. Die Portionsgröße des Gyros für den aktuellen Preis ist viel zu wenig für einen gesunden Appetit. Das Fleisch war zudem etwas trocken. Wir werden uns beim nächsten Besuch in Bremen an anders Restaurant suchen.

We were here on vacation and here because of the great reviews. Nice little restaurant with a few outdoor seats and two levels inside, an absolute tip if you like Greek food! The staff is pleasantly relaxed and friendly. The food was very good. We had Biefteki and farmer's salad with gyros. Would recommend everyone to stop here. Price/performance was ok for us.

If I read all the reviews here, my friend and I must have had an extremely bad day... the meat, especially the gyro, was too dry. My dish arrived almost 10 minutes earlier than my friend's. Something like that just doesn't work Ouzo is also saved, there was only one after you had ordered... I actually know that differently from many other Greek restaurants and the service was also quite annoyed... considering the amount of food it was okay, I will still not visit this restaurant again

Das Plaka bietet mehr, als die Lage vermuten läßt. Von außen ein unscheinbares Haus bieten die Wirtsleute hier eine echte Oase. verteilt auf zwei Etagen sitzt man erstaunlich privat. Das Essen? Sehr gut und authentisch. Die mit Käse überbackenen Pilze sind definitiv eine Empfehlung wert. Und die Weinkarte bietet auch das eine oder andere Schätzchen. Bei humanen Preisen

It was really nice, even though there was a lot going on. The food is always very tasty, despite the high frequency. Is and remains our “favorite Greek”.🥳 And the tzatziki is really great. My little sister from Gö brought a special tupper with her, which was filled with two portions of tzatziki starter. And the grilled pepperoni with garlic dressing is addictive 🤩

Great stylish restaurant Food very tasty and reasonably priced

Unfortunately not my thing, in terms of service and also the food.

This family was one of the first in Bremen to open a Greek restaurant almost 50 years ago. Now they are celebrating their anniversary in almost 4 years! I don't know any Greeks in Bremen who have more experience. Whether it's a company party or grandma's birthday, they get everything managed coolly. The kitchen offers Mediterranean specialties as well as unusual delicacies from the sea. Here the tzatziki tastes exactly as it should and the ouzo is for good friends. A table reservation is absolutely necessary. Parking spaces in front of the house are very rare, but if you can walk for 5 minutes, there are enough parking spaces on Faulenstraße. A very pleasant price level, so that you can drink an extra wine or beer. In summer there is even a small outdoor beer garden where you can even eat.

Very very good food, every meat dish on my plate was prepared to perfection, only fresh ingredients, that's high quality at a reasonable price. Do yourself a favor and reserve in advance. Highly recommended!!!

I liked it, but the starter of potatoes with feta and garlic for 6.95 was too expensive... there were 4-5 slices plus sauce...

We were there with 4 people to eat. In 3 dishes the meat was very tough and dry.

We visited spontaneously and luckily got a spot. Small restaurant, which shouldn't be rated negatively. The selection was good. The staff was friendly. Unfortunately there is no children's menu at all, hence the point deducted.

We thought our visit to Plaka was great! The service was very courteous and friendly. The food was great! We had several starters and all were delicious. The selection of food was also very diverse. The facility was very comfortable. The only minor criticism was our seat, it was quite narrow and you couldn't stretch your legs due to a "box" under the table. But I would always recommend the restaurant! Keep it up :-)

We went there for dinner spontaneously this evening (after reading the good reviews). It was all really delicious. We had the Athens plate, chicken breast pan in Metaksa sauce and a warm chocolate cake. It was a treat and when we are back in Bremen, we would like to come back again. We recommend!!

Had dinner there today and it was great. I had the Athens plate and everything tasted very good, the meat was excellently seasoned and the tzatziki went well with it. The rice and suvlaki were okay on the plate but could have been seasoned better. For dessert I had the chocolate cake, it was a treat. The chocolate cake was still hot and the center was liquid. The vanilla ice cream was very tasty and cold. The staff very accommodating and friendly. The atmosphere was very pleasant. Overall, I can only recommend a visit. Will definitely come back

Wir wollten immer schon dieses griechische Restaurant besuchen, da die Bewertungen so gut waren und es der beste Grieche in Bremen sein soll. Unser Besuch war dann sehr entäuschend. Wir entschieden uns um 12:30 für den Mittagstisch. Das Restaurant ist in 2 Etagen aufgeteilt, nach dem ersten Blick in die untere Etage, entschieden wir uns für die obere, leider war dieser Eindruck nicht besser: die Räumlichkeiten (Wände und Einrichtung) sahen sehr verlebt aus, in die Jahre gekommen und strahlten keine Gemütlichkeit aus. Mit unserem Hund wurden wir 2 Personen in die hinterste Ecke links verwiesen, nur meine schlanken Hüften habe ich es zu verdanken, dass ich meinen Sitzplatz erreichen konnte. Eingeengt zwischen Wand und Fenster fand unser Hund auch noch ein Plätzchen. Wir hatten aber eine gute Aussicht auf den nahen Brill. Wenn wir nicht so neugierig auf das Essen gewesen wären, hätten wir das Lokal fluchtartig verlassen. Wir entschieden uns für Giros mit Metaxasauce, er war mit Käse überbacken, und für Giros mit Bifteki beides mit Pommes leider die Bifteki ohne Fetakern und dem obligatorischen Krautsalat. Dieser kam sofort. Noch nie habe ich so einen trockenen Krautsalat gegessen, er sah auch nicht mehr frisch aus. Die Hauptgerichte waren ok, jedoch keine kulinarische Offenbarung. Für die Feinschmecker und Stammgäste dieses Lokals mag es sein, dass die anderen zahlreichen Gerichte besser schmecken, ich hoffe es für sie sogar, wir jedoch werden dieses Lokal nicht wieder aufsuchen.

It’s one of the oldest Greek restaurants in the city. Since 1978 so my respect for lasting so long. But so it’s not surprising that nearly all tables were taken and the food was very good tasty fresh and in good size. Friendly and attentive staff. Ok the furniture is a little bit classy but it’s charming on the other hand. Fair price and good quality makes me come back. Credit card welcome.

Das Essen war wirklich gut, aber der Kellner war seltsam! Letztes Mal habe ich 2 € Trinkgeld gegeben, und er hat 4 € abgebucht. Und letzte Woche hat er dasselbe gemacht! Das ist unhöflich und Ausnutzung! Ich werde nicht mehr in dieses Restaurant gehen

This Greek has been around forever. We always eat there before we go to Meisenfrei. The food was great as always. The restaurant is fully packed with tables, but you still can't deny the place has a certain cosiness. The staff are nice and there is an ouzo to welcome you.

A Greek restaurant without a Greek salad, what's the point?! They've Germanized their menu by offering coleslaw instead of Greek salad everywhere. Also, their salads are really small portions. We ordered lamb which was served cold and unfortunately the squid was not cleaned. It really doesn't deserve its 4.5 points in Google.

Greek is always a great idea - and so we couldn't do without it on our weekend trip to Bremen. After a little online research, we ended up at Plaka - and it was definitely worth it! Maybe we were very hungry and we also escalated our ordering a little bit. Here is an excerpt of the delicacies we ordered, which we can actually recommend without exception: - Bifteki with feta filling - fried mushrooms with tzatziki - Cheese croquettes - Potato slices in feta garlic sauce The facility is... yeah. As you know it from most Greek restaurants. But let's be honest: Anyone who eats here only has eyes for their own plate anyway.

War heute zum Mittag mit meiner Frau zum Essen hier. Wir entschieden uns für einen Gyrosteller mit Pommes-frites. Es wurden uns gleich 2 Ouzos serviert und ein kleiner Salat. Danach kamen dann die Gyrosteller welche auch erstmal gut aussahen. Allerdings vermisste ich die übliche Tellerdeko z.B. Olive, Peperoni , Tomate oder Gurke etc. Anstelle dessen waren über dem Gyros ein paar Zwiebelschnipsel verteilt. Der eine Esslöffel Zaziki (hätte ruhig etwas mehr sein können)kam auf einen kleinen Blatt Salat daher. Da hätte man noch getrost über weg sehen können , aber das bei beiden Tellern das Fleisch dermaßen trocken und faserig war ist nicht zu tolerieren für 14 Euro die Portion . Von der Bedienung kam auch erst nach dem Essen die Nachfrage ob alles in Ordnung war. Das ich dieses vehement verneinte, kam lediglich die Bemerkung warum wir nicht gleich etwas gesagt haben . Kein Ton der Entschuldigung . Beim Bezahlen kamen dann noch 2 Ouzos welche wir stehen ließen . Resümee : Nie wieder !😡

Vanavond hier heerlijk gegeten. Als voorgerecht hadden we bruschetta en saganaki. Beide super lekker. Daarbij kregen we brood en Griekse salade. Ook de hoofdgerechten waren heerlijk. Lekker mals vlees en goed gekruid. Ook de rijst was zeer lekker. We krijgen het beide niet op. Dus grote porties. En dat voor een zeer nette prijs.

Das Lokal liegt zwischen Innenstadt und Weser und ist mit Bus und Bahn erreichbar. Das Essen war sehr gut, das Personal aufmerksam und höflich. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist die Lautstärke von Stammkunden.

Kennen das Restaurant schon seit 1978. Immer wenn wir in Bremen sind gehen wir dort essen. Es ist immer ein Besuch wert.

War ok aber nicht der Reißer. Man sitzt nicht sehr schön, hat eher was von einer Wartehalle. Das Essen war so schnell da, als hätte es nur auf uns gewartet.

Wir haben uns auf diesen Abend sehr sehr gefreut, und haben auch von dem Laden nur gutes gehört. Das Essen schmeckte garnicht, das Fleisch verbrannt die obere Schicht, und nicht richtig durch. Sind leider nicht mal Kompromisbereit gewesen, ganz im Gegenteil. Wir sind sehr sehr entäuscht .weg gegangen. Uns wird man nicht Wiedersehen, das Fett wird mal nicht an dem Abend regelmäßig gewechselt. Habe seit her Magen Probleme, ein teures Essen, für nichts und die Stimmung war an dem Abend auch nicht mehr so unter Freunden. Diesen Laden werden wir nicht mehr betreten, brauchen wohl keine Gäste mehr, das man sich keine Mühe machen bräuchte.

Wir hatten reserviert, bekamen einen schönen Platz zugewiesen und wurden höflich und zuvorkommend bedient. ....und das Essen war lecker und sättigend. Danke dafür!

Essen ist echt spitze. An der Bedienung kann man noch ein wenig arbeiten jedoch ist Sie freundlich und kümmert sich. Ich würde das Restaurant definitiv weiter empfehlen.

Ich war schon öfter da. Ich kann diesen Griechen nur weiterempfehlen. Das Essen ist reichlich und lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich. Es ist aber angebracht zu reservieren da es immer gut Besucht ist.

Der Laden ist etwa in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem nett eingerichtet. An dem Abend, wo wir da waren, war der Lokal gut besucht. Der Service könnte aufmerksamer sein, der hatte sich gern um Stammgäste gekümmert, aber leider nicht um uns. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Vospeiseteller war ein Traum, Calamaris auch sehr gut. Ich wollte Spinat anstatt Pommes haben, da ich keine Kohlenhydrate essen wollte, war leider nicht möglich, fand ich sehr schade.

Super, auch nach mehr als 20 Jahren immer noch eine leckere Adresse!

Sehr schöner kleiner Grieche, sehr gemütlich und lecker. Für uns schon seit Jahrzehnten einer der besten im Umkreis.

Auf gut Glück am Freitag Abend hingegangen. Sehr freundlich begrüßt worden. Einen super Tisch für uns Beide bekommen. Leckere Vorspeise und Hauptgang. Toller freundlicher Service. An einem sehr verregneten Tag war dies ein absolutes Highlight! Vielen Dank wir kommen gerne wieder.

Haben nun mal außer Haus bestellt, aber auch außer Haus ist es einer der besten Griechen in der näheren Umgebung. Könnte von der Menge ein bisschen mehr sein, aber es ist immer die gleiche sehr gute Qualität, das ist uns sehr wichtig. Auch die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, wenn man vor Ort isst. Immer wieder gerne. Macht weiter so, ihr seid toll!

Gyros mit Sahnesauce - leider war das Fleisch zu trocken, jedoch passte die Würze geschmacklich insgesamt. Trotzdem schade, da ich bei 15€ gut 1/3 dann zurück gehen ließ. Um neues Essen zu bestellen reichte die Zeit leiser nicht, da wir zu mehreren einfach auch gemeinsam Essen wollten. Trotzdem komme ich gerne wieder.

Ganz feine leckere griechische Gerichte. Etwas kleines Lokal, aber ohne diese ständig nervende griechische Musik. Wirklich nette Bedienung. Äußerst empfehlenswert!
