Pizzeria Ristorante Tulipano Bensersiel in Esens

We had planned to stop there. According to the website, it should have been open. Unfortunately, we arrived to find the doors locked. It would be nice if the opening hours on the website could be updated. We were very disappointed.

Highly recommended, great staff

We ate there twice within four days. I had the gyro plate, which was incredibly delicious and plentiful. The pizzas 🍕 there are also excellent. The staff were really friendly; we spent a lovely evening there on our last day before our departure. I can 100% recommend it.

Today we visited Tulipano for the first time, ordering takeout, and were pleasantly surprised: The gyro plate was very good. The gyro was juicy without being greasy, the coleslaw seemed homemade and tasted great, as did the tzatziki. We liked that the fries were specially wrapped. The service during ordering and pick-up was also very friendly. We'll definitely try the pizza soon!

After eating so much fish, we were in the mood for pizza! Oh well! You can do it, but I've had much better pizzas!

During our vacation, we ate there twice in total. We also took food back to our apartment once. Whether it was pizza or pasta, everything was delicious 😋 The waiters were all attentive and very friendly!

It was our first time there and we'd love to come back 👍🏻 Very friendly staff despite the crowds. It was busy, but we were seated right away and were quickly served drinks and food. Our pasta was delicious. The restaurant is located in a shopping mall, and there's a supermarket on the lower floor – which we also found convenient.

We ate there every evening during our short vacation and were extremely satisfied. We would gladly go back.

Excellent food, fantastic service, we were thrilled. Whether we ate in or took away, everything was delicious, cooked and served with love. The waitstaff were top-notch. They left no wish unfulfilled.

The pizzas we had were delicious and freshly prepared; highly recommended. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere wasn't ideal, as it's located in the middle of a shopping mall, so visitors can sometimes see the food, which is why it loses one star.

The restaurant is located in a passageway. You can choose whether you want to sit in the quiet side room or, like us, in the middle of the passageway. We had a fantastic view of the dike from here. My daughter had a wonderful child-sized salami pizza and kept praising how delicious it was. I ordered the baked rigatoni. It was absolutely delicious. The service was also impeccable. From the moment you order to checking if everything was OK. We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend this pizzeria and thank you for the friendly welcome.

I, or rather we, were rather disappointed here. The prices are high, and what you get is definitely not worth what you pay for. The pizza is super dry and almost impossible to eat. We went there once and definitely won't be back. 50 euros for two people, and then for a pizza like that... So, 3 stars, since we can only judge the pizza. Thumbs down, even though the service is friendly and courteous.

Our "vacation group" was at the Tulipano again today—as we do every year. As always, we enjoyed the delicious food and the friendly staff. Highly recommended.

The staff was super friendly, drinks and food arrived promptly, and a waiter came by regularly to ask what we wanted! The price/performance ratio was great, and the food was delicious! And 5* for the very clean restrooms! We love coming back here again and again!

Very friendly staff - the food was okay but not really Italian

First of all, it must be mentioned that the team is extremely child-friendly. We didn't have a reservation, but we got a table relatively quickly. During our visit, we received prompt and friendly service. The food was hot, freshly prepared, and arrived quickly. I was pleasantly surprised by the cabbage, which had a lime or lemon flavor, something I've never had served before. Most of the time, it just tastes like some store-bought, ready-made cabbage. Otherwise, the team impresses with their good overview, even with waiting guests on empty stomachs. A reservation is highly recommended, especially during peak times. Thank you for the great meal. We'll be happy to come back.

Once and never again! The two of us went there for dinner because we were impressed by the reviews. We waited 15-20 minutes. The staff were very unfriendly. They kept making bad comments that were meant to be funny. That's unacceptable! The food was like it came from a frozen food store. Prepared without care. And last but not least, the ambiance is just in a mall. Thanks, but never again. I'd prefer no stars!

A typical pizza place where you can eat well. The service is good; there are quieter tables and some in the shopping mall where people walk right past your table and look at your plate. But as I said, if you make a reservation and ask for a quiet table, everything's fine.

The pizzeria is located in a shopping center, and the seating isn't particularly pleasant. The pizza Diavola was really spicy. The service was friendly. The prices are fair. Unfortunately, they serve Bitburger beer instead of the local Jever beer.

One Thursday evening, we were hungry and desperately looking for something to eat. Even though we arrived at the last minute and all the other nearby restaurants were already closed, we were warmly welcomed and well looked after by the friendly staff! We were glad we didn't have to go to bed hungry.

Just before closing time, we were treated to some really delicious food. We opted for the grilled chicken and spaghetti, which was absolutely delicious. The service was also incredibly friendly, especially the waiter, Jurica. We'd be happy to come back!

Due to the recession, we visited this restaurant for the first and probably last time. The service overall was really very good, very friendly staff and a short waiting time. As for the ambience...it's just in a passage. As for the food - the pizza was okay (no more/no less) and the lasagne was an absolute disappointment! Hardly any minced sauce, but a lot of gratinated cheese so that you basically only tasted that. Too bad...

I got 10min. before closing time this statement: "I won't let you go home hungry" Thank you again!! :))

We got three Pizza Funghi with different versions and everything went very quickly. The food tasted good and you got something with it. Gladly again.

The 2025 season has started. And like the last 6 years, we are in the suburbs and start our vacation in Tulipano. Yesterday I only ordered takeaway. Even though the place was packed, we only waited 12 minutes for our food. Great performance 😀 It is noticeable how friendly and competent the staff dealt with the guests. The prices too - yes it has become a little more expensive - but everything is still reasonable. 👍 Conclusion - always a good, friendly, tasty and cheap address

Were also here for 4 days and got pizza twice. The Diavolo is really not for the faint of heart. I like spicy food but this has a lot of oomph. What was immediately noticeable was the friendly manner on the phone and on site. Pizza really tasted great. I can only recommend the store to everyone. We'll come back when we're nearby. :) I also gave personal praise today
