Thank you, you made my mother's birthday even more amazing. We were there on a Friday and luckily had a reservation. Very friendly service, we received good advice, and they weren't just concerned with profit. For example, they recommended one starter and rejected another because the portions would have been too large. So we followed the service's recommendation, and it was the right thing to do. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous. They even packed up the "apple pie" for us so we could eat it later at the hotel. Thank you. We'll definitely be back in the summer.

It was our first time in the area and we were really looking forward to a pizza 🍕. Not only did we get a wonderful pizza 🍕 like I haven't had in a long time, but we also enjoyed warm conversations and feel-good moments. Thank you so much for this moment.👍🍀

We were looking forward to a lovely evening with delicious food. As soon as we entered, a guest informed us that the waiter wasn't in the best mood. Of the seven tables directly by the building, two were occupied. All the others were reserved. When we asked where we could sit, we were told to come back in two hours. There were also tables available toward the water. If we sat there, he would first have to clear up (the tables were completely clean), and we would have to expect a considerable wait. They'll never see us again; I've rarely experienced such unfriendly behavior.

We were seated very quickly, even though the restaurant was busy. The food was delicious. The pizzas were typically Italian. The waiters were friendly. We waited about half an hour for the food. After asking for the bill, we waited another half hour without receiving it. The view of the Havel River made up for the wait. We then got up and paid at the cash register.

We were at the restaurant for lunch yesterday. The waiter, as I've often said, was very friendly and communicative. The food was OK. The bill was the highlight. Following a friendly question and recommendation from the waiter, we ordered a tomato salad (made with tomatoes from the restaurant's own harvest!) as a starter. The tomato salad wasn't listed on the menu, so we didn't know the price – and the "friendly" waiter didn't comment on it either. That wouldn't have been a problem if the salad had cost between €5 and €8, as usual. But it turned out to be a whopping €15.90 (for comparison, most of the main courses on the menu were cheaper). There was also no Parmesan cheese with the pasta dish we ordered. We were brought freshly grated cheese the next day. The bill added €3 for this (as expected, the main courses were between €11 and €15). Whatever your opinion of the prices, we recommend always asking about extras in this restaurant, otherwise you might be surprised by the amount of the bill.

We didn't have to wait long and were able to place our order right away with the very friendly waiter. The drinks and food arrived very quickly. We really enjoyed the ambiance. The price/performance ratio is excellent.

Last night, we ordered three "lasagne al forno" to-go meals to dine at a nearby camper van. For the price, it was the saddest lasagna we've ever eaten, and we've mostly thrown it away. We've rarely experienced such carelessly prepared food! Sorry, but I'd rather have pimped-up ravioli from a can – and save a lot of money! P.S.: We probably should have asked for pizza, which at least looks much more delicious in the photos...!

We spent our vacation in Caputh and visited the pizzeria quite often. Of course, we had to wait a bit longer at times, and all the tables were occupied. The wait was worth it because the pizza was excellent. I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed it; the waiter's recommendations were excellent. Everyone was friendly, even when it was busy. Of course, you might have to wait sometimes; we had time; we were on vacation.

It's not the best Italian food ever, but it's absolutely delicious and OK. We were a bit unsure about the service at first because of the reviews, but the staff was very friendly and up for a chat; nothing to complain about.

After two years, we wanted to give this restaurant another chance. The "highlight" back then was that guests had to get their own cutlery from the trolley because the waiter was overwhelmed. What can I say: Nothing has changed, even though there are only half as many tables. The drinks arrived after 40 minutes, the pizza was okay, nothing special, but it took forever and didn't arrive at the same time. No salads. The waiter rolls his eyes when new guests arrive and prefers to go and smoke instead of serving them. The kitchen closes at 8 p.m. on weekends during peak season. A late arrival asked if he could still get a pizza and was snapped at. No card payments? I won't even speculate... Conclusion: Never again! This time, for real!

As always, delicious, generous portions, and great people, including the chef. A bit of a wait, but that was due to the ferry festival. The olives are an absolute must. We'll definitely be back; it's been a must-try since 2020. 😋👍👌

The service was friendly, typical Berlin fare. We hadn't even properly looked at the menu when we were asked what we wanted to drink, so we had to decide spontaneously. The food was good and the portions were sufficient. Personally, I felt the small salad plate lacked a little flair, like olives, arugula, or pine nuts. There was no dessert menu.

A bit overwhelmed for an Italian restaurant. At 7:30 p.m., only three tables were occupied. The last table to arrive had to wait almost 45 minutes. Plus, they close at 9 p.m., which we won't be able to make it. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

The staff was difficult to understand and stupidly sold us a homemade salad, which significantly increased the wait time. We had to wait an hour for our food, which was reasonable considering the circumstances. They also didn't have every dish on the menu (even though we weren't eating late).

Very tasty food with good value for money. Our food arrived very quickly, and the staff was very friendly and, above all, welcoming. Our son (2.5 years old) had a lot of fun playing with the boat and the little house outside, and we were able to enjoy the view of the water.

We ordered pasta dishes and asked for Parmesan cheese. We received the cheese immediately and the bill a little later. I've never paid for Parmesan cheese in an Italian restaurant before. We learned that things can be done differently the next day at La Favola.

We ate here today, May 14th, and received a very friendly welcome. Since the weather was great, we chose a table with a view of the Caputh ferry. The waiter came immediately and took our order, pointing out that we were arriving at a time when the staff were taking a five-minute break to eat, which we thought was very good. Despite the warning, the drinks arrived immediately, and when the food arrived, we didn't feel like we had to wait long at all. The food was incredibly delicious, and the waiter's recommendation was really great. Since I like seafood, it was a huge surprise for me that there was almost more seafood than spaghetti on the plate, which I really enjoyed. The price and quality are completely in line these days.

Very tasty food (pizza, pasta, appetizers), very friendly and fast service, and individual requests were addressed very well.

Drinks took forever, at first only one of the two came and after another 10 minutes the second. Pizza okay, but reminded me of a slightly better frozen pizza. For my taste, this has little to do with real Italian pizza. In the end there was a "robber's plate" on the bill that we didn't order. Upon request, this is an additional charge for sharing a pizza. I'm not sure if that's even allowed. Only after a clear refusal were we spared the surcharge. Overall, everything seemed very chaotic there and I also find the fact that card payments are not possible to be anything other than modern.

We had a great dinner today at Pizzeria Portofino. The ambience outside is unbeatable when the weather is nice. Direct view of the water. The service was very friendly and helpful. And the food also completely convinced us. We'd love to come back!

We have been coming to Caputh for 10 years and have often eaten pizza there (always satisfied so far). The ice cream parlor is always very good. Today we wanted to order something and sit on the jetty at home.. We were told on the phone that they don't take orders because their guests go first in the restaurant. I come from the catering industry myself and this has a negative connotation for me... ice cream yes, but we'll enjoy pizza somewhere else..

Wieder mal ein sehr sehr leckeres spätes Mittagessen in Portofino Caputh💙. Wit waren recht herzlich empfangen. - Tisch mit tollem Ausblick auf die Promenade &Havel - TOP! - Speisekarte ist übersichtlich mit Schwerpunkt auf einfache köstliche italienische Küche. - Der Tomatensalat ist NICHT der klassische Salat - ertrunken in einem Dressing, bei dem man die frische Zutaten kaum schmecken kann. Dieser Salat ist 'mal was anderes'! Die 🍅 aus eigene Ernte des Chefs, sind Hammer - 2 verschiedene Tomatensorten, geschmacklich 1A*** und auch optisch ein Hingucker 😀 dazu köstliche Focaccia. Unser Hauptgang (Fisch (Knurrhahn), Calzone & Kinderpizza) waren zügig serviert. Alles sehr sehr lecker. Als Nachtisch kam italienischer Kirschkuchen - warm serviert - himmlisch🤩! Die Herren im Service sind alle sehr aufmerksam & freundlich, die sich gerne auch in kleiner Plauderei einziehen lassen 😊 Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierher (auch wenn wir nichr gerade um die Ecke wohnen). Die negativen Kommentare über langen Wartezeiten kann ich verstehen aaaber - ein Koch + 1 oder 2 Kellner können nicht die große Terasse u. Tische drinnen im schnell Tempo bedienen. Die Gäste sollten auch nicht vergessen, wie schwierig es ist heutzutage gute Servicekräfte zu finden. Portofino ist kein Mc***. Hier soll man sich auf das frisch zubereitetes Essen freuen, sich Zeit (Wartezeit) nehmen -🍷Wein genießen, die Gesellschaft genießen, to slow down and to enjoy the moment.

The pizzeria is quite okay. The fact that card payments are not possible is not a quality standard these days. But okay. The menu says that it can sometimes take a while for the order to arrive. We actually waited a very long time. The wine is catastrophic. The pizza and pasta dishes are okay so far. The waiter is definitely very positive. Very friendly and communicative. Really tried. The ambience also has something. Right on the water. Rustically furnished. Fits.

Danger! We were recommended a delicious tomato salad with home-grown tomatoes. We couldn't find the price on the menu. The big end came at the end. We ended our vacation there on July 30, 2024. It was quite crowded, but the boss had a great overview. Unfortunately, some guests had to be sent away. Because there is only one cook there and everything is made fresh. Food came a little later than planned, but we didn't care because we had time. Our food was far too delicious to find anything negative. And we got dessert from the ice cream stand around the corner. Delicious.

Stopped there by chance with 3 hungry and excited children. The waiter was amazing, had calm and patience to take and fulfill all orders and special requests. Always a friendly hello and little attention in between, We were given very good advice about what to eat. The pizzas, lasagne and pasta were extremely tasty and an absolute poem. In the end everyone was full, happy and satisfied. We would have liked to come back again but unfortunately the holiday was over. Next year for sure. Keep it up!!

Only accepts cash, no debit cards or credit cards. It's 2024, where else can you find something like this these days? Very suspicious, maybe money laundering, black money, or mafia?

Never ever again! Heute gegen 15:00 einen freien Tisch gesucht. Mehre Tische waren reserviert, obwohl niemand kam (wie nachträglich zu erahnen, weil die Küche vermutlich nicht mehr verkraftet hat). Bedienung mäßig freundlich und sichtlich genervt. Eine andere, jünger Bedienung, dagegen sehr freundlich. Bier kam nach 10 Minuten, ok. Die bestellte Pizza war auch nach 1h(!) noch nicht auf dem Tisch. Anderen Tischen rundherum erging es nicht anders. Bier bezahlt und gegangen. Gut gemeinte Empfehlung an den Chef: Nur soviel Tische aufmachen, wie die Küche auch verkraftet oder explizit nur Getränke ausschenken. Mich wird man aber dort nicht mehr sehen.

Carpaccio not recommended, meat not to be defined, no spices upon request, neither balsamic nor olive oil was available. This can be done better

My child and I were cycling along the way. I went to the toilet with a bottle to get some water. The rude gentleman shouted: 'no wasser'. Rude, not to say vulgar behavior. What could pizza taste like from a guy with such character?

Stopped by by chance and was pleasantly surprised! The best spaghetti carbonara around. Reasonable prices. The service was very relaxed and always friendly. The only drawback is the low, hard chairs to the high tables. But next time we'll let each other kiss, because we'll be happy to come back!

Rarely have I had such a bad pizza!

When ordering we were not informed that we would have to wait 1 1/2 hours for our pizza as a large group was served first. If we had been told this, we would have had the opportunity to go somewhere else. Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't what we wanted either; the Vegetariea lacked spice and variety and the fish was overcooked. It's a shame, not even a drink on the house 🤷‍♀️😏

My son and I spontaneously wanted to go out for something to eat in the evening after soccer training. I can hardly remember the last time I was so positively surprised. A very nice greeting is fun, the way the waiter tried to look after his guests was really pleasant, but when my son is handed a blanket with a wink because he was a bit cold with short clothes, then you feel comfortable as a guest. Lukas isn't a good eater and I'm happy when he finishes half of his pizza. Today he enjoyed it so much that he almost ate everything. An accolade for good cuisine. My penne was also very good and I haven't had two dishes + drinks for under €30 for a long time. Many thanks to the entire team 😃. We'll definitely be back ✌️

We spontaneously had dinner there with 8 people on Easter Sunday. And were very satisfied. Very friendly service and great food. Price-performance was also okay.

Unfortunately I can't rate anything because card payment is not possible. My wife says it's just not up to date anymore.

We were there today around 1:30 p.m. 2 adults and a child. At first it was relatively full. Generally a great location, but the service is terrible. It may also be due to the lack of staff. There were 2 waiters on duty. A waiter had lost track of which tables he had to do or had already done. All in all we were there for 2 hours, it all took forever. In some cases, guests who came after us were served sooner and received their food sooner. We had to wait about 30 minutes for the drinks, then another hour for 3 pizzas. Drinks were ordered 2 large Pils, the first was brought to the table with 0.3 L, the second with 0.4 L. Of course the bill said 2x 0.4 L. In the end it was only a price difference of €1, but it's just a matter of principle. Service is in need of improvement, waiters do not react independently to empty drink glasses. Pizza bases were very thin, too thin for us and only seasoned superficially. Quantitatively there was nothing to complain about. 3 pizzas, 2 pilsners and 2 Diet Cokes ended up being just under €60.

We ordered 4 pizzas with different toppings to pick up today. Pizzas were ready after 25 minutes as announced on the phone. These were incredibly tasty🤤 typical stone oven pizzas. Big compliments to the pizza maker. It was a pleasure. 👍

I'm not a pizza lover, but because there are unfortunately no salad plates, I was forced to order a pizza. What can I say, if pizza...then at Portofino! Simply delicious!

There are already very tasty pizzerias but if you are near here you should definitely take a look. We were really impressed. The service was sensational. We were able to eat two starters, a great salad and two mega pizzas there. Everything was made with love and with fresh ingredients. If we're in the area again we'll be happy to come by again. That must have been in Italy. I have never eaten such delicious pizza in Germany. We ate parma and bruschetta, both excellent. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is pleasantly friendly. If we are in Potsdam again, we will cycle there again. An absolute recommendation from us. Kind regards.

Freundlicher Service, gutes essen

Das Essen ist super lecker, es gibt auch saisonale Tagesempfehlungen. Man sitzt schön im Schatten unter großen Schirmen und direkt am Fähranleger. Die Terrasse ist etwas lieblos und kahl, aber die freundliche Bedienung schafft Wohlfühlambiente.

Die beste Pizza außerhalb von Italien! Tolle Aussicht und Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kids! Wer Zeit mitbringt, wird belohnt (da alle Speisen frisch zubereitet werden). Reservierung empfohlen & Bargeld mitnehmen, weil es keine Kartenzahlung gibt. Ganz klare Weiterempfehlung! Wir sind bereits Stammgäste und kommen immer sehr gerne wieder. 🙏

Die Pizza schmeckt frisch und sie verwenden frische Zutaten. Geschmacklich halte ich die Pizza aber für ausbaufähig. Die Tomatensoße finde ich etwas zu fade und den Boden relativ zäh. Alles in allem Aber dennoch ch eine gute Pizza. Die Aussicht auf die Havel und die Fähre ist sehr schön, es gibt viele Tische draußen. Drinnen gibt es nur wenige Tische und es ist eng gestellt. Ich gehe dort dennoch nicht gerne essen, weil mir der Service sehr zu wünschen übrig lässt. Ich hatte z. B. Mal eine Pizza zum abholen bestellt und extra eine Zeit ausgemacht sie ausreichend sein sollte. Als ich ankam sagten sie zwar sie sei gleich fertig. Es dauerte aber 45 Minuten bis ich die Pizza in Händen hielt. Vermutlich hatten sie die Bestellung vergessen. Ein anderes Mal waren nicht die Zutaten da und bei einem dritten Besuch, saß ich draußen und auch hier dauerte die Bestellung über eine Stunde. Och hoffe das waren alles nur Einzelfälle, aber für mich waren es einfach zu viele. Den Service finde ich schlecht und das Essen finde ich nicht so gut, dass es das wett machen könnte.

Wir besuchen seit Jahren gerne in unserem Urlaub das Portofino. Das Essen war jedes Mal sehr lecker. Und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.

Der erste Eindruck war ehrlicherweise seltsam. Waren dann aber positiv überrascht. Das Essen war sehr lecker und ist klar zum empfehlen. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich und fragte immer wieder ob alles ok sei. Einzig das Ambiente war verbesserungsfähig. Etwas lieblos draußen.

Beste 🍅🍅🍅 ever 🤩 Die netten Herren (Service) sind immer aufmerksam, immer mit einem gutem Empfehlung behilflich und auch trotz vollem Lokal laufen lächelnd umerum und übersehen keinen Gast. Danke!

Im Juli 2023 waren wir wieder mal im "Portofino" essen. Ich weiß gar nicht, wie oft wir schon da waren. Natürlich mussten wir a bissl auf unser Essen warten, aber da wir Zeit hatten und Wert auf frische Kost legen, störte uns dies nicht. Ansonsten hätten wir in ein Fast-Food-Lokal gehen können. Das Personal war freundlich, nett und zuvorkommend. Die Atmosphäre am Wasser ist sehr schön.

Die Kritik der anderen kann ich nicht bestätigen. Trotz voller Tischbelegung war das Personal sehr Nett und hat sogar zwischendurch gefragt, ob alles OK ist. Auf das Essen ( Pizza) haben wir angemessene 20 min. gewartet, Getränke hatten wir nach 5 Minuten. Die Pizza war sehr groß und lecker, ausreichend belegt. Der Preis mit ca 12 € aufgrund der Toplage an der Havel angemessen. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder Essen gehen.

Hervorragendes Essen und erfrischend herzliche Mitarbeiter! Große Klasse! Gemütliches Ambiente! Nicht zu vergessen, die stets wechselnden Pfeffersorten, aus aller Herren Länder, jedesmal wieder eine Überraschung! Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Haben Sie Dank!

Das Essen ist wirklich super hier. Wir haben in Caputh Urlaub gemacht und uns hat es gleich mehrmals hierher verschlagen. Die Bedienungen super freundlich und die Pizza Original Italienisch, hier merkt man das mit Liebe gekocht wird, der Teig der Pizza sowas von dünn und die Salate aus eigenem Anbau. Wir können das Restaurant wirklich nur empfehlen.

Nachdem wir vor gut zwei Wochen angenehm überrascht wurden, mussten wir gestern der Realität ins Auge schauen. Vor zwei Wochen: Nudeln mit Scampi & Co. sowie Pizza mit Scampi & Co., dazu ein leckerer Rotwein. Alles gut. Vielleicht etwas viel Schnackerei vom Kellner, aber nett. Gestern: Auf Nachfrage, da am Vortag Nudeln mit Pfifferlingen gesehen, diese bestellt. Zwischendurch wurde gesagt, dass Nudeln mit Steinpilzen gleich kämen. Korrektur unsererseits. Nein Steinpilze. Warum wurde nicht gleich bei der Bestellung erwähnt, dass es keine Pfifferlinge mehr gibt? Nein, das war es nicht. Nicht gut. Zudem machte der Schnacker-Kellner einen zunehmend überforderten Eindruck. Nur Sprüche. Das kann man sich ’mal anhören. Aber die ganze Zeit… Nein. Kleines Highlight am Rande: Der Hund eines Gastes wird von eben jenem Kellner gestreichelt. Ob er sich die Hände desinfizierte, bleibt ein Rätsel. Wir sind so schnell nicht wieder zu Gast. Aktualisierung 17.7.2023 (nach Antwort vom Inhaber): Sorry, aber die Antwort können wir so nicht nachvollziehen. Ich bin in Caputh aufgewachsen und noch sehr regelmäßig in meiner "alten Heimat". Das vorgebrachte Personalproblem besteht nicht, denn zwei der aktuell mit Bedienung betrauten Mitarbeiter sind so schon Jahre aktiv. Und es waren grundsätzlich nie mehr. Die personelle Unterbesetzung ist also nicht neu. Vielmehr werden von den zu vielen Tischen im Außenbereich einige als "reserviert" gekennzeichnet, aber es werden keine Gäste an diesen Tischen platziert. - Das ist etwas sinnentleert. Bei der "Pilzbestellung" handelte es sich auch nicht um ein Missverständnis. (Im Nachhinein möchte ich sogar soweit gehen, dass die Steinpilze wegmussten.) Denn meine Frau hatte ja auf die Bemerkung von Torsten ("Die Steinpilze kommen gleich.") darauf hingewiesen, dass sie Pfifferlinge bestellt hatte. Zu guter Letzt: Spekulationen lasse ich mir nicht verbieten. Es passt(e) alles. Und wenn man sich die Bedienung ansieht, dann weiß man eigentlich schon genug. (Eine Ausnahme bildet Tobias). Die letzte Bemerkung bezüglich der Wahl eines anderen Lokals zeugt ebenfalls nicht von sehr großer Professionalität. Aber ich hatte es selbst festgestellt, das müsste nicht noch bestätigt werden.

Sehr nette und freundliche Bedienung. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und dauert dementsprechend etwas länger aber darauf wird in der Karte hingewiesen und somit alles okay. Das warten lohnt sich definitiv. Wir hatten Salat, Lasagne, Pizza, Bruschetta und Nudeln und waren bei allen Speisen sehr zufrieden.

Es war eine super nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Jeder Gast wurde speziell und höflich bedient und durch kurze nette Gespräche fühlte sie jeder Gast wie Zuhause. Selbst auf Vierbeiner wurde geachtet. Über das Essen müssen wir garnicht erst reden, es war jeden Tag super lecker.

Die kleine Pizzeria in Caputh ist schön am Wasser gelegen direkt neben der Seilfähre .Auf der Terasse kann man wunderbar sitzen und den Vorbeifahrenden Boten zusehen . Die auf Stein gebackenen Pizzen sind einfach lecker genauso wie die Pasta's. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und sieht wer Wünsche hat. Wir können es nur empfehlen und komm gern wieder . Essen und Getränke lecker, Service flott und mit der perfekten Empfehlung! Zwei Essen, Wasser und Wein für zwei für 50€ bei toller Qualität der Speisen und Getränke und inklusive Tip = Preis/Leistung passt! 👍🏻👍🏻 Zum gucken gab es den Fährverkehr der Caputher Fähre. Sehr gerne wieder!

wir waren mit angemeldeten 6 Leuten da. Wir nahmen Gerichte der Karte und äußerten Sonderwünsche (2x Salatteller). Das Essen kam nach >1h. Der Service war nett, fast zu nett. Das Essen selber hatte Luft nach oben, zumindest bei den Preisen. Gerichte der Karte waren nicht verfügbar. Nur Barzahlung (leider nicht mehr auf der Höhe der Zeit) und dann war bei der Rechnung auch noch der Drucker defekt.....

Wir sind mit unserem Besuch in dieser Pizzeria sehr zufrieden. Man sitzt schön in Wassernähe und kann die Fähre beim An- und Ablegen beobachten. Trotz Stoßzeit war der Kellner sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was uns sehr zugesagt hat. Die Antipastiplatte war nichts besonderes, die Pizza aber sehr lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Essen sehr gut und relativ schnell. Qualität braucht halt seine Zeit. Service geht fast nicht besser, hat eigentlich mehr als 5 Sterne verdient. Unserem Kellner hat man angemerkt, er liebt seinen Beruf. Leider gibt es davon viel zu wenig.

Vilken mysig restaurang. Trevlig personal. Plus var att de var bra på engelska då våran tyska inte är den bästa. Pizzan var super. Provade även några förrätter som var supergoda.
