Fresh, authentic. Unfortunately, they almost exclusively serve pizza, but it's delicious.

Incredibly delicious pizza, friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. You wouldn't guess it from the outside. We enjoyed it so much that we ate here two nights in a row.

I went to Pomodoro and had a really delicious Margherita pizza with arugula, Parmesan, and onions – super fresh and cooked to perfection. I especially appreciated that you can even use your holiday Italian here – the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. A very pleasant ambiance; you immediately feel at home. Best pizza we've ever eaten. The dough is simply unique.

The pizza was a mixture of burnt dough and a tomato sauce that was probably made from diluted tomato paste. The tasteless item, called Pizza Magerita, was then garnished with oregano and basil. The only thing that had any flavor was the Coke from the gas bottle.

Today, my husband and I went to this pizzeria for the second time. We had the best pizza Parma with arugula ever. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and perfectly topped. This is what pizza should taste like. ❤️

Simple pizzeria, friendly service. We had pasta ragu Bolognese, which was delicious, but unfortunately, the pasta was stuck together, sometimes in thick chunks. And the side salad for €7 was very bad; iceberg lettuce was mostly brown, and lamb's lettuce had roots stuck to it. This salad wasn't worth the money.

We took the pizza with us; it was pretty good! Definitely recommend it.

After my day trip to Cuxhaven, I visited this pizzeria in the afternoon. Upon request, I was given a vegan pizza, which tasted excellent even though it didn't have cheese. The staff and pizza maker were very friendly.

This was the first pizza 🍕 I'd ever tasted in a long time. I started with vitello tonnato...and it was incredibly delicious, served with homemade bread. My companion started with the tomato 🍅 soup, followed by a calzone. An all-around "everything was done right" feeling, thank you.

The best pizza I've ever eaten 🍕 I had one with Gorgonzola and spinach 🌿 my wife had salsiccia... delicious 😋 The place looks uninviting from the outside, but it's beautifully decorated inside. The pizza chef is a real expert 👌 the service is friendly. Highly recommended 👍

The restaurant is nice, right in the city center. Unfortunately, we've eaten many Neapolitan pizzas that have impressed us more in terms of flavor. The tomato sauce should have been more fruity and intense, so that a nice acidity comes through; unfortunately, the flavor is nonexistent here. The dough had a great crunch, even on the bottom. The restaurant is a solid choice for Neapolitan pizza in Cuxhaven. Service was fast and friendly, and the wait time was very short.

We were here last week quite by chance as we were in the area at lunchtime. Luckily, we chose the Pomodoro. One of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Fresh ingredients and the crust is delicious. Crispy and fluffy. My wife and daughter were also thrilled. We'll definitely be back as soon as we're in Cuxhaven.

We had dinner here today. I only had a salad and pizza, a straightforward dinner. When I got the salad, I immediately noticed that the food here is cooked with love and uses only the finest ingredients; the first forkful confirmed this. The fresh, homemade bread with it was a dream. Then the pizza, the aroma and the dough, incredible. I've rarely eaten such a good pizza. It was accompanied by a Sicilian Arancia Rossa. I needn't say anything more. A dinner that made me happy. Despite several guests and people picking up food, we were served promptly and extremely friendly. It's a shame we're only here on vacation; otherwise, we would definitely become regulars. 👌

Very, very good pizza. Lots of different varieties, including some that are pleasantly different from the usual classics. There are also two pasta dishes and a great selection of imported Italian sodas. Highly recommended!

A highlight in Cuxhaven. The perfect choice for us. We received a friendly welcome, were very well looked after, and enjoyed excellent food. We would be happy to return anytime.

In principle, the pizza is delicious, but what bothered me on my last visit was that the waitress barely spoke German. They spoke Italian or English. I had specific questions about allergies, but since I have no Italian and only limited English, I could only choose the dish I know – trying something new, unfortunately, was not possible. There should have been at least one person present who understood German to some extent, which is a shame.

Today was our second time eating at this fantastic pizzeria. We were there for the first time three weeks ago, and both times it was absolutely delicious! Highly recommended, and we'd love to come back.

Awesome! Absolutely lovely all around, the pizza was amazing and so was the service. We were allowed to stop by and eat 40 minutes before closing time. I would recommend it to anyone in Cuxhaven.

I don't eat cheese, and the pizza was delicious even without it. They even deducted the cheese, which is super fair. The service was excellent, and the shop is very cozy.

We ordered by phone for pickup. Due to the employee's lack of language skills, this proved a bit difficult, but it worked out in the end. The pizza is really good; you can tell and taste the high-quality ingredients used. Hence, it's a bit more expensive. The tomato sauce was a bit too acidic for me personally (but that's a matter of taste), and the salad was far too expensive for such a small amount. Everything went smoothly during pickup, and the employee was very friendly. We would order again on our next vacation.

We discovered the pizzeria yesterday by chance. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the delicious smell of tomatoes. The pizza we got was incredibly good. The last time I had pizza this good was 45 years ago in Sweden. Today we went there again and ate pasta, our expectations were completely exceeded. You can taste the homemade noodles, the sauce is unique. I can only recommend the pizzeria, I know that I will definitely come back.

We were very happy with the restaurant! The pizza was very tasty, had a crispy dough with an airy, tasty edge, with just the right amount of tomato sauce, toppings and not too much cheese. Perfect for us. In addition to the pizzas on the menu, there were also 5 "unusual" seasonal pizzas, for example pizza with asparagus in April. Our son chose pasta Bolognese and was also very satisfied.

Tolles neapolitanisches Restaurant - in CUX! Beste Pizza, absolut empfehlenswert! Geheimtipp: nach dem neapolitanischem Bier fragen: sehr lecker! (Nichr’t auf der Karte). Die Zutaten kann man dort auch kaufen - auch das Bier. Sehr freundlich und authentisch.

Experience from 1980: best tomato salad=pizza. In Garmisch, best pizza = pizza. In Cuxhaven. 2025 best pizza since 1980 at Pomod'oro in Cuxhaven. Everything was right. Service very friendly. Pizza Diavolo was really spicy and tasty. Even the thick crust that I usually leave on the table was delicious. Then we had a pizza with spit roast. I tried it. I've never had a taste experience like this with a pizza. A nice evening. We'll be back.

I wanted to recommend this place to you for a series of things in addition to the excellent pizza, the first courses all made with top quality Italian ingredients, it is very welcoming from the music to the lights to the flowers that adorn the tables, if you close your eyes while sipping a good Chianti accompanied by a plate of cheeses it seems like you are in Tuscany... sorry I'm biased😜

Like in Italy. Take a look at the board with their philosophy. Under Soft there are self-imported lemonades. Lemon, a cloudy lemon soda, Mandarino, a green soda a little bit tarter. Chinotto, color like a cola, taste tart, made from a bergamot, hybrid of sweet lime and blood orange, good to eat. The pizza is fluffy all the way to the edge. Pizza Claudio, not just pureed tomato, you can find thin slices of tomato, pulled mozzarella and Gorgonzola in nice alternation. Number 4 was also very good.

Very wonderful pizza in a relaxed atmosphere. Calm. This is about food. The quality is perfect. The soil, the ingredients. It looks and is probably absolutely authentically Italian. We don't know of any pizzeria in the area that bakes such good pizza. Airy, crispy base. Super light and not heavy on the stomach. We drive there for 45 minutes. And it's certainly worth it. The Italian lemonade is also recommended.

Super delicious food, bruschetta and the pizza are worth 5 stars, the tiramisu only gets 4 stars, it was a bit watery.

We chose Pizza Claudio. Thank you for this really delicious pizza, prepared with a lot of love and authenticity. The dough is airy, delicious and crispy baked in the stone oven. In addition to the successful base, the ingredients were also of very good quality. The ratio of the ingredients was also wonderful. We are really thrilled and would take the 2 hour drive just for this delicious pizza - after all, still closer than Italy 🫶. Keep it up!

Great pizza!!! The dough is the best I've ever tasted. Very soft and yet fluffy and firm. Tiramisu was also amazing. Very creamy and harmoniously rounded off in terms of taste. The food available for purchase gives everything an authentic flair. Tasteful furnishings. Prices a bit high, but good food simply has its price...

There were three of us on October 11th, 2024 and we ate: 1. Pizza Claudio 2. Pizza Parmigiana (vegetarian) 3. Pizza offer No. 1 (unfortunately I forgot the exact name). Everyone enjoyed it very much. It was so delicious. Very happy again and again. Clear recommendation!

Pizza ok 17€, Nudeln Bolognese sehr aldente, lauwarm, kleine Portion,lecker 14€! 2 kleine Scheiben bruscetta 10€ fanden wir total überteuert! Das Lokal war sehr kalt! Wir und auch andere Gäste haben in Anoraks unser Essen zu uns genommen.
