Pizzeria Pomod'oro - Massimo Milan in Cuxhaven

Like in Italy. Take a look at the board with their philosophy. Under Soft there are self-imported lemonades. Lemon, a cloudy lemon soda, Mandarino, a green soda a little bit tarter. Chinotto, color like a cola, taste tart, made from a bergamot, hybrid of sweet lime and blood orange, good to eat. The pizza is fluffy right down to the edge. Pizza Claudio, not just pureed tomato, you can find thin slices of tomato, pulled mozzarella and gorgonzola in a nice alternation. Number 4 was also very good.

Very wonderful pizza in a relaxed atmosphere. Calm. This is about food. The quality is perfect. The soil, the ingredients. It looks and is probably absolutely authentically Italian. We don't know of any pizzeria in the area that bakes such good pizza. Airy, crispy base. Super light and not heavy on the stomach. We drive there for 45 minutes. And it's certainly worth it. The Italian lemonade is also recommended.

Super delicious food, bruschetta and the pizza are worth 5 stars, the tiramisu only gets 4 stars, it was a bit watery.

We chose Pizza Claudio. Thank you for this really delicious pizza, prepared with a lot of love and authenticity. The dough is airy, delicious and crispy baked in the stone oven. In addition to the successful base, the ingredients were also of very good quality. The ratio of the ingredients was also wonderful. We are really thrilled and would take the 2 hour drive just for this delicious pizza - after all, still closer than Italy 🫶. Keep it up!

Great pizza!!! The dough is the best I've ever tasted. Very soft and yet fluffy and firm. Tiramisu was also amazing. Very creamy and harmoniously rounded off in terms of taste. The food available for purchase gives everything an authentic flair. Tasteful furnishings. Prices a bit high, but good food simply has its price...

Delicious food, super nice service and nice ambience.

There were three of us on October 11th, 2024 and we ate: 1. Pizza Claudio 2. Pizza Parmigiana (vegetarian) 3. Pizza offer No. 1 (unfortunately I forgot the exact name). Everyone enjoyed it very much. It was so delicious. Very happy again and again. Clear recommendation!

Pizza ok 17€, Nudeln Bolognese sehr aldente, lauwarm, kleine Portion,lecker 14€! 2 kleine Scheiben bruscetta 10€ fanden wir total überteuert! Das Lokal war sehr kalt! Wir und auch andere Gäste haben in Anoraks unser Essen zu uns genommen.

We came here in the evening after making a reservation and initially took a seat at the counter because the restaurant was overcrowded (no table had been blocked for us despite our agreement). This surprised us a lot, but fortunately it didn't detract from the experience. As enthusiasts of Neapolitan cuisine, we have been able to test many pizzas made in this particular way, but none as perfect as this one. The Margherita pizzas we ordered really impressed us that evening. Thanks to the generous use of enough semola, the base was uniquely crispy. The tomato sauce was prepared without chunks and very aromatic. The mozzarella was dosed in just the right amount and not overly placed, as is often the case. The addition of olive oil after the baking process rounded off the taste experience perfectly. A huge compliment to the pizza maker that evening! We left the restaurant very happy and full and can highly recommend it.

Unfriendly staff, bad service and bad pizza.

The pizza was one of the best I have eaten in Germany. The shop was also very nicely decorated. The waiting time was just too long but that's the only thing.

Where should I start? First the positive: The service was nice and friendly, and the pizza tasted good too. So now the negative: unfortunately the price performance here is not correct in my opinion. 2 slices of sourdough bread with a little olive oil (unfortunately it was also rancid) for 3 €, the small Italian salad for 7.90 € is a real joke, served carelessly in a bowl, let's say and you can't do anything small with this size We don't speak of tiny and taste-wise, we say naja about the salad. Our conclusion: once and never again.

After visiting the pizzeria today I was very annoyed. I ordered a pizza and a white wine there for a total price of €23.50. At the same time, I questioned whether card payment was possible. The waitress confirmed this possibility. When I wanted to pay the bill by card, the card payment was rejected. Now I have been informed that the minimum turnover for a card payment is €35. Despite my complaint, there was no response. All I was shown was a small yellow handwritten note the size of two cigarette packs on the front door.

Nice little pizzeria in Cuxhaven. There is antipasti and pizza, nothing more. Pasta Bolognese for €14 as an antipasti! Pizzas up to €16 from the stone oven. The taste was okay, unfortunately nothing special. Ingredients were fresh.

Lots of light, unfortunately some shadows. The pizzas are really top, a must for every lover. The (one) salad on the menu is a joke, value for money is inadequate. The service was OK, but the Mediterranean warmth/hospitality was missing. The greeting and farewell were very sparse, which is a shame. Calling all pizza fans: go! If you don't like pizza: buy a kebab next door...

We have never eaten such bad pizzas. The dough was ok, the tomato sauce tasted worse than any ready-made sauce, the salami had huge pieces of fat and was inedible and, to make matters worse, the whole pizzas were soaked in oil. By the way, no one asked if it tasted good. The prices are also sometimes quite steep and the menu is very small (even the typical pasta dishes are missing). After eating there I first gave out a round of stomach tablets. And judging by the answer, you can't handle criticism there and it immediately becomes personal. How unprofessional and rude.

The pizzeria is small...the 4 stars are only because the pizza was quite tasty. We didn't think the ambience was that nice because there were packages of drinks everywhere and it looked like there wasn't enough storage space. Unfortunately the menu is very manageable. For an Italian there are only two pasta dishes and the pizza selection isn't the best either. The waitress spoke German very poorly and when we asked for herb butter she unfortunately didn't know what we meant.

We chose the pizzaria because of the positive reviews because we were on vacation here. What can I say, we weren't disappointed. By far the best pizza I've had in a long time. Otherwise I'd be happy to leave the edge alone, but that would have been a sin here. Had Izza Claudio and my husband had the Diabolo. Both really well topped and an airy crispy edge. Service super friendly and great ambience with Italian flair. Good wine and espresso. Price performance top.

Found the restaurant by chance and ate a Margherita and a Prosciutto e Funghi there. Very, very tasty and served with a lot of Italian charm. Absolute recommendation!

Maybe we're spoiled but the food here is just average. The service is good. We had noodles that could have been cooked a little longer, but what was too short for the noodles was too long for the mince as only dry chunks remained. A pity.

The food was very good and the service excellent. I chose the Pizza Diavola, the dough was thin and crispy, exactly how a pizza should be. My friend had the Bufalina pizza, which was also excellent - fresh ingredients and a lovely taste. At the end I treated myself to a tiramisu, which was also delicious. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The atmosphere in the pizzeria was cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly recommend this pizzeria. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine and first-class service.

I had a pizza marinara and I have to say it was great, the sauce was delicious, the chilli oil had the perfect spiciness, the dough was crispy but soft... you can taste Amore out of it. . and all for only 9 € / awesome / it's a shame that I live in Cologne otherwise I would be with you every day ;)

We can't tell you much new. Almost everyone writes that the pizza here is delicious. Guys.....you are right...!!! Relatively small shop with great pizza. Handmade with fresh ingredients. Staff including the boss were very friendly. Prices slightly increased but you can taste the quality. There is also a lot to buy. Various sauces, flour, pasta, chocolates, olive oil, wine and much more. Reservation makes sense. Great shop, great pizza. We'd love to come back.

Hello, super comfortable to sit in and a super relaxed atmosphere. Luckily we got a spot, it was quite full when we arrived. The pizza was super tasty, it was immediately noticeable that the dough was homemade. The tiramisu was also very tasty and seemed to be homemade. A scoop of ice cream for children would be nice. Because the little prince we had with us has his own ideas, but that's complaining from a very high level. So everything was great, we can only recommend it. Enjoy it 🤗
