Super delicious food. I had a salad and carpaccio.The service was also good. A smile would definitely have suited the gentleman 😉. Unfortunately it is always very loud. However, that doesn't detract from the ambience or the food.

Super delicious Italian cuisine. They also offer something different than pizza and pasta, although these dishes are also top. I had sea bream and some king oyster mushrooms, both very tasty. Price-performance ratio is right!

We were kind enough to get the last free table on a Saturday evening. With a full house, the waiting time was a little longer, but we could live with that. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. We'd love to come back :)

After a concert at Haus Marteau, we went to “La Posta” in Bad Steben with several friends on a Sunday evening. Despite the late hour, our group of 9 received an extremely friendly welcome and wonderful care. The dishes were fresh and lovingly prepared, and small requests for changes were accepted without any problem. We were all very happy to have found such an attractive restaurant later in the evening on a Sunday.

We are absolutely thrilled...great service, really tasty food, great prices and the boss personally prepared a children's pizza for our grandson to take away as a gift. We would love to come back.

So I would have liked to rate the food, but despite booking online, there was no cancellation, which I would have understood. I also called, and no response either. So I can't say anything about the restaurant, what a shame.

A detail that distinguishes this restaurant is certainly the artisanal production of every single product, from pasta to desserts... the authenticity of "homemade" is definitely found in the dishes they prepare at the La Posta restaurant!

There was nothing fresh, everything came from a can, salad dressing as well, pizza was soggy despite an additional charge of 3 euros, service was okay, the seating in the restaurant was much too narrow. I come from the catering industry.

Very busy on a Wednesday evening, so we had to wait a little longer for the food than usual in a pizzeria. But everything tasted very good.

La Posta has a central location in the health resort of Bad Steben with a beautiful beer garden and tasteful modern interior design, with a view of the imposing church. In addition to classic Italian dishes with antipasti, pizza, pasta, meat and fish, the Ristorante also always offers its guests a large selection of seasonal delicacies and desserts. The abundance and variety overwhelms you, which is why I deliberately didn't give it a 5th star because it takes 15 minutes to study the individual menus - bad if you can't make quick decisions. 😉 However, the quality, appearance and ultimately the taste are convincing. Atmosphere, cleanliness, friendly service and moderate prices are a given. That's why we visit La Posta regularly. 👍

I think this was the best Italian experience in Bad Steben.

You should definitely make a reservation on a weekend. Service was courteous and very friendly. I can highly recommend the stone oven pizza with Parma ham. You can taste that it was freshly made. Price/performance fits perfectly

I just wanted spaghetti carbonara. For days now, my appetite for the simplest and most popular pasta dish in Italy has been driving me to all the Italian restaurants here in Bad Steben. In 2 out of 3 restaurants, however, the order wasn't even made because the list of ingredients had nothing to do with a carbonara. Since La Posta makes at least its tortellini itself, I had high expectations that it would be properly prepared. However, upon request, the Carbonara can also be made with egg AND cream!! Dead inside, I was at least able to order the pasta without cream and I was very excited about the result. Unfortunately, the long wait wasn't worth it. You could see parts of carrots and onions, which have no place in a carbonara, and the egg has set and spread crisply over the pasta. Far from a creamy, homogeneous sauce. The bacon wasn't really great either. Yes, there are definitely other dishes that I didn't eat and the espresso and dessert were good. But a carbonara is so simple and when prepared correctly it is incomparably delicious.

There were three of us at La Posta on October 5th, 2024. My pizza was ok, but not so good that I will visit this restaurant again if I compare it to others I know. My wife had a beef dish and she said it was ok too. A friend who ordered the salad variation was completely disappointed. The dressing was missing and under the green lettuce she could add a few corn kernels, a little onion and about half a chopped tomato. When I asked whether bread would be served with it, 4 measly slices were brought for €2.50. The service was good, although I would have expected the lady who served us to ask if the “salad variation” was almost untouched.

For me this visit was a very pleasant experience. Very good food and pleasant service

We ate there at short notice and got a table, but we were immediately told that the table should be free again in 2 hours. Drinks and appetizers came quite quickly and the appetizer was average, although all the dishes lacked spice. After the starter we had to wait over an hour for our main course! When asked, they just said the food would be coming soon… After we expressed that we urgently needed to move on, the food arrived all at once and an apology for the delay. (We then paid straight away because otherwise it would have taken forever) The food was not edible, the beef steak was dry and overcooked! No spice, nothing🙄 We then left the food and left because it ruined the evening. Absolutely no recommendation, absolutely cannot understand the good reviews!🫠

A terrible experience! We were there twice, always with a reservation. The first time, the food only came after about 1.5 hours with the excuse that there was a lack of staff and skilled workers. The food was okay: the pizza was average, but the pasta was really good. We went there a second time because of this pasta and had to wait 2.5 hours for the food. No apology, no free drink. The pasta came cold and poorly prepared, the pizza lukewarm. When paying, a tip was also required :-(. Never again! Unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant. I don't understand at all how this pizzeria could end up at number 1 on Tripadvisor - that has to be a FAKE...

If only the boss doesn't have to go into the basement to laugh 😜

The food was very good, pizza, pasta and tagliata...everything tasted extremely well. Service was busy and yet always kept things under control in a friendly manner. Reservations make sense, as the place is particularly busy when the weather is nice. Gladly again and only recommended!

1 star because of the whole situation there...... After 15 minutes the drinks came.....waited 90 minutes for the food, 1 salad and 1 pizza......really unbelievable!!! There is no star kitchen here, which could justify the effort. The outdoor area has a parking lot feel, plus hard garden furniture without cushions The waiter only understands a little German Then overcharged When it was clarified at the counter, no one wanted to clarify it, simply said it was the waiter's fault and I had to contact him....? No excuse...."we all make mistakes"....and what? Would you like the money back?....yes, of course There was a general problem there with the waiting time...at tables of 5 and more people, the food was brought in stages, but not directly one after the other. SO I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST EATING THERE

Delicious food, friendly service, everything perfect!

Yesterday's visit there was the last. It took 15 minutes for a waitress to come and take the order. Another 15 minutes until the drinks were brought. Food came after 1.5 hours even though we only had a pizza. Otherwise pasta and salads. Something like that doesn't work at all!!

We recommend. Despite the full garden (EM), they also made a lot of effort to look after us in the restaurant. Food was served in a reasonable time and was very tasty.

We came to Bad Steben from Halle/Saale today because La Posta was open today - great food - fillet of beef - great wine from the boss - we'd love to come back! Price-performance ratio is still right here! Thank you Ines and Uwe Hahn

Leider kann ich mich den doch nicht wenigen negativen Bewertungen nur anschließen…Ich habe von den insgesamt 6 bestellten Essen (4 Hauptgerichte, 2 Vorspeisen) 2 gekostet. Beide waren geschmacklos! Meins entsprach noch dazu überhaupt nicht der Beschreibung; es sollte Öl mit Knoblauch (und Fisch) sein und es kamen Zwiebeln in Öl (und Fisch), es schmeckte nicht mal ansatzweise nach Knoblauch. Dies reklamiert, wurde das Gericht wieder mitgenommen. Dann wurde ich gefragt, ob ich auf Zwiebeln allergisch bin oder ob man noch Knoblauch hinzufügen könne und mir das Gericht wieder bringen könne. Da ich nicht allergisch bin, mich lediglich wunderte, warum ich nicht bekam, was ich bestellt hatte (und es auch nach nichts schmeckte) hoffte ich, dass es mit Knoblauch passt. Aber ehrlich, was kann man da noch falsch machen? Der „Knoblauch“ schmeckte SAUER, aber nicht nach Knoblauch! Das Essen war nicht im mindesten geschmacklich anders als vorher. Alles in allem fettig ohne Geschmack. Und erstaunlicher Weise schmeckte selbst das Radler komisch (das hat ein anderer Gast am Tisch bestätigt). Definieren nach was konnten wir leider nicht. Aber noch mal für das Lokal: Radler, das ist BIER MIT ZITRONENLIMONADE ! Es muss nicht Sprite sein aber etwas äquivalentes schon. Um die 2 Punkte zu rechtfertigen: glutenfreie Nudeln auf Nachfrage - toll! Dass man dafür dann allerdings noch 2,50€ Sonderwunschgebühr bezahlen darf…eher nicht. Ach ja, wir sind ja nicht die ersten, die Geschmacklosigkeit bemängeln…. Wäre es wirklich zuviel verlangt, eine Menage zu reichen? Das würde das Problem zumindest erträglicher machen. Ein neuer Koch würde es auch tun. Ich hab noch nie so schlecht in einem Restaurant gegessen. Noch nie!

Everything was fine and the service was very good, as were the dishes I ate.

One thing in advance - the food was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating... Only the waiting time for our food was just too long... after an hour the soup finally arrived and after almost two hours the main course... We were told that the cook had been canceled and that there would have been problems in the kitchen... With all understanding - but you could have simply informed the guest about it... Despite everything, we can recommend this restaurant because of the really good food and the friendly service...

The service was completely okay and the food was delicious. I just felt it was a shame that there were no vegan dishes on the menu and no vegan desserts. Nevertheless, the chef conjured up a super delicious vegan pasta dish that really filled you up. We were even offered a small schnapps afterwards. I only know that from the Greeks. I would definitely visit the restaurant again!

Mother's Day: The food we requested was already out at 12 p.m. Was laughed at.🙄 Floor stuck🤔🤷‍♀️ We waited an hour for 3 meals. Pizza was very 'hard'. We've eaten better Italian.🤷‍♀️ Ordered a small beer and received a large one!🤷‍♀️🙄 We would rate the food a 5/10.

Very tasty pizza and great service

We would prefer to give 0 stars! Reasons: On the first of May there was already a small selection to choose from. We then decided on the children's portion. Despite repeated mentions that a schnitzel was missing, it was not brought. One waiter blamed the other instead of politely apologizing. Friendliness and attention are anything but important here. Nobody answers the phone here either!

Highly recommended, delicious Italian pizza

Nothing works without a reservation. Pizzeria with a standard menu, plus there are several varieties of homemade pasta. The atmosphere is modern, the staff is friendly. Parking space at the house. This is a purely subjective review and I have to say: given the whole presentation, I would have hoped for a more interesting taste of the food. The panna cotta also tastes a lot like gelatin and a little like cream. The chef seems to be playing it safe - I won't pay these prices for that anymore. It's all a matter of taste.

Very friendly welcome and service, super delicious pizza and pasta. And the raspberry tiramisu was delicious too. The prices were really okay. All in all, we were thrilled and will come back when we are in Bad Steben again.

Food was great, had a small lasange. Staff friendly as soon as you come in. Online table reservation also worked great. Since I was only here for rehab, unfortunately it's just one visit, but I can recommend this restaurant 100%. Thanks

A bit tight in the back with seating, but very tasty food and ambience. We felt comfortable there.

The food was good, unfortunately there were two things that made the stay not so pleasant. We had reserved a table and were then told in the restaurant that we had two hours available. But the highlight was that we asked for a wine list and received it. However, when we ordered, the waiter informed us that the wine prices had increased but that the menu had not yet been adjusted because it was rare for a guest to request the wine list. We had really never experienced anything like this before.

The four of us spontaneously stopped by on a Saturday evening after visiting the thermal baths. We were lucky and there was even a table available. Since it's later, we just want to eat something sweet and drink a coffee. We all ordered something different and were completely satisfied. We had a caramel tiramisu, a strawberry tiramisu, a soufflé and a tartufo. All highly recommended. The staff was also very friendly and very concerned about the well-being of the guests. The ambience in the guest room is also very harmonious and cozy. I can only give a clear recommendation for the restaurant “Pizzeria La Posta”. We'll definitely come back if we're in the area again!

Very tasty pizza and well topped. If you want to bake on stone, you pay an additional 3 euros. There are two sizes (22 and 28cm diameter). The pizza starts at around 8 euros and goes up to 10.50 euros. The extra charge for baking on the stone is worth it.

The restaurant is barrier-free, there are three entrances, the side entrance is specially designed for wheelchair users. There are also toilets suitable for disabled people.

Very crowded, but no wonder the food was great

We visited on a Wednesday evening and a Sunday evening. Each with reservation. The atmosphere is very cozy. Subtle Italian background music. The food was super tasty. There are also small pizzas 22cm. The staff was very friendly and there is enough parking space. The restaurant is not barrier-free.

Angehnemes Ambiente und freundlicher Service. Pizza durchschnittlich. Garnelen sehr gut. Kleine Pizza bestellt aber große gekommen. Garnelen überbacken bestellt für 17,50€. Gekommen Großgarnelen nicht überbacken und 7,- € teurer. Das junge Team war anscheinen am Samsatag Abent überfordert. Onlinereservierung ist top.

Despite the absolutely full house, I was still offered a place. Someone was at the table immediately, and the service was friendly and attentive right up to the end. Food from the daily menu was very good but it took a while because of the many guests. It's definitely worth making a reservation.

On New Year's Eve after the sauna we spontaneously had a craving for a pizza. By chance we got two places. The menu was clear that evening, but we were served the best pizza ever. The restaurant was full, the service was attentive, and the waiting time was reasonable. We'd love to come back.

A reservation request for 6:45 p.m. was made by email this afternoon and is offered separately on the website. Why do you bother with the reply email? Luckily we got a place at "Da Carmelo" by chance, a real stroke of luck. Super nice staff, delicious food, excellent value for money. We like to go here more often, it's worth it!

Nach meiner Reha gönne ich mir eine Pizza bereits hier beginnt das Chaos von Blech oder vom Stein war die Frage an mich .What ???Hauptsache die Pizza schmeckt ich habe mich für die Stein Variante entschieden 18.90- laut Rechnung(weshalb man 25 % vom Kaufpreis als Aufschlag nimmt ist mir schleierhaft ).Das erste und letzte mal geschmacklich die schlechteste Pizza die ich in meinem Leben bekam. Das Rindercarpaccio war geschmacklos und hatte die Farbe von aufgetautem Fleisch. Das Rinderfilet a la Chef war zäh. Die Nudeln sahen aus wie aufgewärmt. Alles sehr enttäuschend.
