Delicious food, especially the fish dishes and daily specials. A very friendly owner and host.

The food is very good. Unfortunately, there's not much space as it's usually fully booked; you end up sitting at a table with other strangers.

A dream of an inn. The horseradish meat is a dream, homemade with a real kick, as it should be. Budenschuster (no industrial junk) is a very, very tasty beer. Homemade schnapps as a nightcap rounds it all off. The service is top-notch, and the food came quickly; everyone was very friendly and accommodating. It's not for nothing that it's the oldest inn in the Franconian Forest. Highly recommended for locals and holidaymakers alike.
