Not recommended in my opinion! Service is not very motivated, not everyone has to work in service. Everything was a bit grubby all around, I'm glad I didn't order food there. Even the coffee didn't taste good, a few more beans wouldn't have been bad. We had to go to the waitress to pay, otherwise it would have gotten dark! It's really a shame because the restaurant is in a great location 🙄

We rode our bikes and had lunch in the beer garden. Food was freshly prepared and was very tasty. Portions are large and the taste cannot be faulted. There is a playground for kids. The drinks are freshly tapped and nice and cold and there is a sufficient selection. There was definitely nothing to complain about.

I was here a few times during my rehab in September, both for dinner and just in the beer garden in the evening. The food tastes very good and the prices are more than affordable. The landlady runs the restaurant here alone with a lot of passion and commitment. If I ever come to Bad Steben again, I will definitely come back. 100% recommendation.

The food was tasteless. But what was really disturbing was the lack of cleanliness in the dining room and not to mention the toilets...

We were greeted very friendly and were there with a small group. The food tasted very tasty. The portion was nice and large and served with a delicious sauce. We absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews. Looks to me like a coordinated effort by some locals.

We were at the country inn today and were so excited. The owner cooks everything herself, nothing is ready-made here, we are very impressed. It was super delicious!!! By the way, the owner built everything here herself and has shown a good knack for coziness and ambience. So, the visit is worth it.

Conditional. Food was O.K. But here it comes. We hiked to the inn on Friday evening, September 27th, 2024. Arrived there at 7:00 p.m. The blue neon light “OPEN” was still on. I touch the door handle... at the same moment the inside is locked and the neon light is turned off. Unbelievable... there was no response to knocks and calls. A disgrace towards the guests. That's why the landlady gets a bad rating from me.

We were here on September 28th and had a very good meal. The food was freshly prepared. Hats off to the commitment of this landlady who does everything here alone and doesn't throw in the towel like most other restaurants.

We ate in the restaurant yesterday and had booked a table by phone beforehand. The food was absolutely delicious, no ready-made schnitzels, everything was fresh, fast and friendly service. If you know the history of the Schöne Aussicht and know that the owner does everything herself, then you can only say “hats off”. We would definitely like to come back.

Food great, handmade, you could even hear the knocking of the meat. Fries straight from the potato... Nice service that also knows how to have fun. We felt very comfortable. ..

The food was really tasty. And then the super price. I even got a Jagertee even though it wasn't on the menu. The schnitzels are highly recommended. Gladly again.

Food and drink at a fair price. Cordon Bleu for €14.90, a draft beer for €2.90 in the beautiful beer garden. What more could you want?

Table was reserved for 12 people. Great service, food arrived quickly, even though we were a large group of 12 people. The food was very tasty and the prices were unbeatable. It's unbelievable how the two of them (cook and waitress) manage everything on their own. Respect 😄

Yesterday I had dinner at Schöne Blick. The portion was decent and tasted really good. The wait was ridiculously short! The ambience is great. There is a great demarcated playground for children. Great stopover for hikes. I'd love to come back.

The food was super delicious! However, it was very expensive. There wasn't much choice either. The view was rather expansive over fields but otherwise it left a lot to be desired. It was an “okay” stay The lady who apparently had to do everything alone was very friendly and really tried to do everything as quickly and well as possible on her own!

So you can't say anything about the price, including drinks. But if there are no schnitzels available on schnitzel day 2, well. And as a boss, just sitting there and smoking doesn't make a good impression. There was no pineapple at Hawaii and there was no mushroom cream sauce because of the heat. Unfortunately, the tone of the answer says it all. That's just not how you run a restaurant! It's your decision, but if you react bitterly to every criticism, how are you ever going to improve? You run a restaurant to make your customers happy and not yourself!

Having to wait an hour for your food is really not possible. Some things were no longer available at lunchtime. No nuggets or fish fingers, no yogurt salad dressing, no orange soda. The ambience is so-so. It's probably a matter of taste.

A beautifully situated beer garden with a lot of charm. It's already comfortable. The food that is brought looks good. Some people could be a little more understanding and say that when things are gone, that's just the way it is, especially on Saturday evenings or Sundays. The owner does what she can, it's difficult alone. She is nice and friendly. I can recommend it with a very clear conscience.

Very good food. Had schnitzel and it was HOME-made!!! The operator is alone and there are still no long waiting times. Always happy.

A beautiful beer garden with delicious, freshly prepared food and draft beer. For example, I was there for the schnitzel happy hour. Each schnitzel with fries for 9.90 euros is really worth stopping by. The schnitzel happy hour is Wednesdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. There is a cocktail happy hour on Thursdays and a drinks happy hour on Fridays. I can only recommend it.

Actually a nice country inn, but unfortunately the owners are currently “lone warriors”. She does EVERYTHING herself. Service, kitchen, bar. You can of course notice this in the quality and hygiene. Nevertheless, the food was okay and sufficient.

The food is not loving, it is simply served from the deep fryer to the plate, something that anyone could do at home. That's why I don't go out to eat. Furthermore, the boss is sometimes always in a bad mood when customers come, the expression on her face makes everything come true, you could do more with this restaurant, the fact that there hasn't been a light in the men's toilet for years or the fountain is broken but the caretaker service is great on the T-shirt and you get it didn't bake anything myself. It's a shame, it's the second time I've eaten there and I won't be coming back a third time. The first time it was great but the second time it was so bad that the plate was full of deep fryer oil or fat because the schnitzel had probably just come out of the deep fryer. Normally you would have to send the health department there and do an inspection.

Friendly service that goes out of its way to take care of its guests. I can only recommend the “Wiener Style” schnitzel. 2 large schnitzels were fried nice and tender. I can only recommend it.

We, the Fibromyalgie Landesverband Berlin Brandenburg e.V., have been there many times and have only had good things to say. The food was very tasty, freshly prepared, and always a kind word from the boss. We can only recommend it, many a restaurant in Bad Steben should follow an example here, one or the other can learn something here... And the view is fantastic, we can only recommend homemade cakes, delicious cheesecake and many other varieties simply delicious..... And one more thing, the boss definitely needs reinforcements, get in touch.......

It was the first time in this restaurant whose name it lives up to. We sat in the very nice beer garden. Inside, the decor is quite cozy/rustic. Very nice and careful service from the boss herself. She also cooks. He also took care of the wasp infestation at our table. The dishes were easily written on a board in the beer garden. Very tasty schnitzel dishes. The prices are very moderate, especially the drinks. This is actually no longer known in Germany. This excursion restaurant is definitely worth recommending and I would love to come back!

A pleasant new discovery for me gastronomically. Friendly, relatively quick and very attentive service from the boss, who represents a Franconian original in the most positive sense as well as hearty and very tasty food. Only the restaurant looks a bit outdated and exudes a rustic, rustic charm, which the beautiful beer garden with a magnificent view over the idyllic Franconian mountains, which lives up to the name of the restaurant, absolutely makes up for. Conclusion: I was a guest here for the first time - but definitely not the last.

Had dinner here. Dishes are offered here that can be made quickly. The inn is apparently run by one person who takes the orders, prepares the food and probably does everything else on his own. Dishes taste ok, but not more. It probably can't be done any other way in a one-person business. We had Kösespätzle. Once with meat and once with salad. Unfortunately the liquid dressing from the salad ran under the spaetzle. Which wasn't that good in terms of taste. Very nice view from the beer garden. Prices for drinks are still very humane. So if you're looking for a quick meal without high expectations, this is the place for you.

Company outing with 75 people. By pre-ordering we all had our food within 45 minutes. Dishes from our smaller menu were really good. Prices are completely okay

What can I say... I have rarely eaten something worse that was served so carelessly and was only enjoyable with curry ketchup than this Cordon Bleu. Fries are negligible in relation to the meat and not yet cooked through. Under the meat there is a carpet of frying fat... and the taste is simply ZERO... ONLY THE KETCHUP WAS OK...BUT THEY PROBABLY COULD NOT HAVE ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. Servive took place via self-service in the beer garden...which is completely normal....only if there are only 8 people present on Sunday evening at the usual best time in the beer garden...and some of them are then "stupidly" insulted by the boss.. .then that's worrying. Food...disaster Service...Pampig Only the beautifully located beer garden gets 2 stars... but the operator can't do anything about that. Not a second time......

A very nice location. There are many eye-catchers, I'm the classic steel of a country inn, the view is breathtaking and the beer garden is very beautiful and large, the portions are hearty and large, you will definitely be full and it is 100% homemade with fresh, delicious ingredients. The prices for them are quality and the quantity is absolutely phenomenal. The service is extremely friendly and competent, every request is met as far as possible and it creates a very familiar atmosphere. All in all, highly recommended, we would be happy to stop by again as soon as we are in the area.

Sporadically ended up in the country inn. The four of us ordered four different dishes for dinner. The food came right on time, was very extensive and wonderfully prepared. The meals were all delicious, hot and unbeatable in terms of price-performance ratio. The good view and the final discussion with the Head of the company rounded off the visit. If we are near the country inn again, we will return we would like to invite you again. Fine !

The food was excellent and plentiful, so much so that we even had something packed up. The view was very nice and the service was very friendly. The landlady is great. The food is very casual. The service copes very well with 30 people in the short term, no long waiting times and no one gets rushed, I don't know what superlatives there are.

Out of necessity, as no other restaurant was open, we stopped at this location. The schnitzel was homemade, but the chef probably lost his sense of taste. It all tasted like nothing. The fries were hard and also unseasoned. The "cream sauce" was definitely a ready-made mash, so not even something "good" from Knorr or Maggi. The salad garnish was unwashed and the glasses were also dirty. Just like the entire guest room. There was dirt everywhere and dirty glasses from the neighboring table were not cleared away. The furnishings in the guest room are a mixture of old-fashioned and ugly. All I can say about the service is that she was friendly, but after the food was there, she didn't ask if everything was OK or if we had any further requests. On the positive side, I didn't get any stomach problems. All in all, I can only agree with the negative reviews and strongly advise anyone not to eat or drink anything there.

There was mold in the glass, the glasses were not washed properly. Food was tasteless, sauce was a ready-made sauce. Ambience mixed up no concept. The waitress brought food and drink and then didn't inquire further or show up, even though there was nothing going on. Among the 3 worst restaurants I've ever been to. PS: to your answer, if you only see that it's moldy at the bottom of the glass after you've finished drinking it, it's difficult to complain about it and it's even more difficult if there's no one there to complain to. To pay we had to walk to the front because no one showed up. And there wasn't anyone there right away. If you don't feel like running a restaurant, you should think about just leaving it. Maybe start in politics, promise a lot and deliver nothing and then implement what you do poorly. Would probably be right up her alley. Continue to have fun with what you do. Have a nice day.

I haven't been so disappointed in a long time! .. doesn't deserve any stars .. Listless staff who don't seem to want their job. Dirty clothing and an unkempt appearance. The entrance area, the toilet, the counter (work area behind it, coffee machine, tap, etc.) and the guest area were very dirty and smelled. You don't want to know what it looks like in the kitchen. I have serious doubts about the hygiene there! I quickly lost my appetite and didn't feel like getting food poisoning. We quickly left the restaurant without eating or drinking anything. I would definitely not recommend the restaurant. The view of the surroundings outside was actually beautiful.

Were here today and ate a little something. The fries were undercooked and the nuggets had a strange aftertaste of old fat. The apple spritzer was stale and had no carbon dioxide. The water was warm It might be nice for drinking beer. The staff also needs to work on themselves and appropriate clothing would be nicer. The most beautiful thing there was the view. My colleagues didn't like it either.

What else can you say, it's a shame about this inn. When we arrived and saw the landlady, we should have turned around. Since the beer garden was relatively full, we stayed. The cheese spaetzle was ok for ready-made spaetzle, the fried potatoes as well, but the loin, which was made from minute steak, was over-seasoned and tough as leather. They apologized.
