La Grotta is definitely our first stop when we spend a few days in picturesque Konstanz again. The great service starts with the friendly welcome. The ambience is exactly to our taste. Of course, the most important thing is the food. The bruscetta is incredibly delicious, but a real challenge as an appetizer for one person. Better to share it. The pizzas are recommended depending on your taste, my absolute favorite is the Pizza La Grotta - awesome! The wine selection is varied, I particularly like the slightly more expensive Primitivo, but that's a matter of taste. If you want to spend a nice evening with good Italian food in a friendly atmosphere, this pizzeria is the right place for you.

The food is very good and the price-performance ratio is right. Special requests are fulfilled without discussion and the service rounds off the well-being very well. We always feel comfortable and will definitely come back.

Das Ristorante Pizzeria La Grotta in Konstanz ist eine kulinarische Perle für Liebhaber authentischer italienischer Küche. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants spürt man die typisch italienische Gastfreundschaft – herzlich, aufmerksam und mit einem Hauch von südländischer Leichtigkeit. Wir haben heute zwei Pizzen probiert: 1. Pizza Paesana – eine wunderbare Kombination aus Schinken, Paprika und Artischocken auf einem knusprigen, aber dennoch fluffigen Pizzateig. Die Zutaten waren frisch, die Tomatensauce fruchtig und die Balance zwischen herzhaftem Schinken und den leicht säuerlichen Artischocken hervorragend. 2. Pizza Royal – ein echtes Highlight mit Büffelmozzarella, Parmaschinken, Rucola und gehobeltem Grana Padano. Der zarte, fein-würzige Parmaschinken harmonierte perfekt mit dem cremigen Büffelmozzarella, während der Rucola für eine angenehme Frische sorgte. Abgerundet wurde das Ganze durch den feinen, leicht salzigen Geschmack des Grana Padano – eine königliche Komposition, die ihrem Namen alle Ehre macht. Ambiente & Service: Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und stilvoll italienisch, ohne überladen zu wirken. Wir fühlten uns wie immer als Gäste sehr herzlich willkommen und wertgeschätzt. Preis-Leistung: Die Preise sind absolut fair für die Qualität der Zutaten und die handwerkliche Perfektion, mit der die Gerichte zubereitet werden. Die Portionsgrößen sind großzügig, sodass niemand hungrig nach Hause geht. Fazit: Das Ristorante Pizzeria La Grotta in Konstanz überzeugt mit authentischer italienischer Küche, herausragender Qualität und einem exzellenten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ob für einen gemütlichen Abend zu zweit oder ein Essen mit Freunden – hier wird jeder fündig, der echte italienische Lebensfreude auf dem Teller erleben möchte. Ein Muss für alle Liebhaber italienischer Esskultur.

Our first dish, the Saltimbocca alla romana, was a prime example of simple but expertly prepared Italian cuisine. The veal was cooked perfectly - tender and juicy - and the combination of sage and Parma ham in the delicate white wine sauce was simply delicious. The tagliatelle that was served with it was al dente and rounded off the dish harmoniously. The linguine zucchine e gamberi also impressed with its fresh preparation. The shrimp were perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful, and the zucchini, thinly sliced ​​and delicately fried, gave the dish a light freshness. The garlic and white wine sauce provided the necessary flavor kick without dominating. The linguine themselves were also cooked to perfection and absorbed the sauce wonderfully. What particularly distinguishes La Grotta is the successful balance of quality and value for money. The price level is more than fair for the quality of the dishes and the excellent service - a clear plus point when you consider that not only the craftsmanship but also the passion can be felt in every dish. The food is delicious. We ordered tomato soup, 4 cheese pizza with extra salami, mixed salad and tiramisu for dessert. Nothing failed, everything was very good. The place is small but worth the wait. The people are also very friendly, when they saw us waiting, they rushed to consume so we could sit down. A yes come! 10/10 sorry for the lack of photos but I devoured everything 🫣 the tiramisu was the only thing I could photograph 😂

We were on a short vacation in Konstanz and since our hotel only offered breakfast including breakfast, we had to take care of ourselves differently. Based on the reviews, we spontaneously called this restaurant at 9 p.m. on Monday evening. With a lot of luck we got a table and went straight away. As soon as we walked in we felt this warm and great atmosphere. That alone is worth a visit. But the food was also delicious. We had pasta, pizza and a salad. Everything's fine. In combination with the loving and attentive hospitality, a successful evening. Thank you dear team and when we are there again we will be happy to come back.

A quaint Italian restaurant. Service and friendliness is great, you immediately feel at home! From starter to main course and dessert a dream! Since we couldn't get a seat on our first attempt without a reservation, we made a reservation for the next evening. And it's worth it!! Gladly again!

The staff, the price and the restaurant are great, but the pizza was really terrible. I don't know if I was just unlucky, but the pizza was almost runny. In some places there was half an onion in a pile, in other places there was no onion to be found - the same was true for the garlic. Unfortunately I didn't like the pizza, it's a real shame.

Thoroughly recommended. Good pizzas with flavor, overall well priced. For 2 people with starter, main course and 2 bottles of water for 48€. Reservation makes sense, very well attended. Small but nice restaurant. Parking in the parking garage (approx. 100m away) makes sense. All in all, good to very good, so far the best Italian restaurant I've visited in the city.

Our regular restaurant for almost 10 years (even though we no longer live in Konstanz). The food is unique, whether pizza, pasta or pana cotta! The salad with the French dressing is also highly recommended. But it's not just the food that's great, but also the lovingly and comfortably furnished location and the staff! If you're in Konstanz and don't eat here, you've clearly missed something! :-)

Cozy atmosphere, very Italian cuisine (they are Sicilian), we had two excellent first courses (pasta a "modo mio" and pasta "la Grotta") and a pizza. Everything delicious and very Italian. Friendly and friendly service. The yogurt and olive sauce served with the morsels of bread is excellent.

Etwas abseits von der Altstadt liegt das La Grotta mit solidem italienischen Essen. Die Bedienung ist überdurchschnittlich punkto Einsatz, Freundlichkeit und Humor (gemeint ist der Chef selbst…). Das Essen ist solide und kommt in grossen Portionen und recht schnell daher. Vielleicht könnte es noch etwas mehr „Biss“ und Finesse haben, ist aber schmackhaft und gut. Ein Italiener, bei dem man „nichts falsch machen kann“.

The two of us came from Switzerland for dinner yesterday (Saturday). Authentic Italian restaurant with great prices. The pizza was really tasty. But it's better to make a reservation (you can also do so by email) because the restaurant is small and full. Totally recommended, we would come again without a doubt. Thank you very much for the very nice service! P.S. Card payment possible. No parking spaces, but there is a parking garage opposite.

Wir waren zufällig dort vor einem Konzertbesuch. Das Essen war sehr lecker, so wie man sich italienisches Essen wünscht. Die Bedienung war schnell und sehr freundlich. Das Ambiente war etwas altmodisch aber das verzeiht man gerne wenn das Essen stimmt.

Einfach fantastisch! Wir haben vor Ort Bruschetta, Pasta und Dessert gegessen - einfach mega! Zusätzlich ist die Bedienung so unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend, dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Heute haben wir Pizza abgeholt - wieder mega!!! Und das Tiramisu... Himmlisch! Weiter so! Tolles Lokal, tolles Essen, fantastische Bedienung und super schönes Ambiente. Besser geht es (meiner Meinung nach) einfach nicht.

Waren zum 1.Mal in der Pizzeria La Grotta. Wenn ich könnte würde ich 10 Sterne vergeben. Unsere Pizzen waren sehr sehr lecker, schön dünner und knuspriger Boden. Der Belag war perfekt. Hatten noch einen kleinen Salat bestellt, der geschmacklich auch sehr lecker war. Service war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Preis/Leistung ist hier stimmig. Der Pizzaboden ist Klasse, für meinen Geschmack könnte es aber etwas mehr Belag geben. Meine Freundin war mit ihrer Pasta überaus zufrieden. Das Restaurant liegt an der Hauptstraße - das Ambiente ist dementsprechend durchwachsen. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam.

Wir waren 2 mal dort und waren sehr zufrieden, leckeres Essen, ein super sympathischer chef und natürlich auch nettes Personal. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen wohnen leider 1000 km weit weg. Sehr zu empfehlen das Restaurant

Ich war im September 2023 zum Mittag in diesem Restaurant und hatte eine Pizza mit Prosciutto. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Essen gut und meiner Meinung nach auch günstig. Ich würde hier wieder essen gehen.
