Incredibly friendly owner, great staff. Atmosphere and mood match. The burgers are very tasty and you are always recommended a suitable Scotch upon request. I can only recommend the pub.

Very cozy Irish pub where you can eat delicious pizzas. The salads are very good and the boss is extremely friendly and always in the mood for fun.

Really friendly staff even when there is a lot of traffic. Small but nice and very authentic together with the wall decoration and the general look. Of course it will be loud with a full house, but that's part of it. However, surprisingly small selection of burgers (0815 Burger and Vegi). Maybe there will soon be a burger version with that certain extra... You can't complain about the liquid... On the contrary

Cozy place with good beer and delicious food

Poorly organized. We waited almost 2 hours for our food and another 1 hour for shots. We had to ask 5 times whether our food was still coming and every waiter told us something different. We could see that the cook had already left and the kitchen was being cleaned. There needs to be better coordination. In addition, we weren't even offered a discount even though we waited so long. Paid full price and left.

So, I'm sure, based on other reviews, that yesterday wasn't a normal occurrence. But that was an absolute disaster yesterday! At 9:30 p.m. the two of us ordered this Beer&Basket thing. Then we were told the fries wouldn't come until 10 p.m. but that's fine. We got them at around 11:30 p.m. and as a group we ordered them three times and the first two came, as I said, at around 11:30 p.m. and the last ones were another 20 minutes later. The shots also came 1 hour later than ordered. Every waiter said something different about this. But wow, that was a picture-perfect disaster. No discount or anything else either. I won't go there anymore. The pub is really nice.

I can't judge the food because I've been waiting for my food for 2 hours. The beer tastes good, but the disappointment is great. Despite repeated requests, nothing happens.

A real insider tip in the old town. Very good fresh food prepared with a lot of commitment by a Neapolitan chef. The service staff are competent and quick. You sit in a wonderful atmosphere together with many other nice guests. Conclusion: Highly recommended restaurant that is much more than a pub.

Everything is commendable - service (Alina), ambience (authentic!) and selection of drinks. But what is most remarkable is the food. Fantastic!!!! Massimo is a cook with heart and soul and even comes to the table himself to make recommendations. We haven't had such good Italian food in a long time! Thank you very much and gladly again. We actually had planned to go to dinner there, we had reservations. But we were about 25 mins early so we decided to check it out first and glad we did. The place hqsboot etial the inside is cool and has that Irish oub feeling. However it has a bad smell but most of all the service. When we arrived there were only 2 other people in the pub and then more tricked in. We ordered 1 beer and 1 cocktail and being in the fodd and beverage industry we were not impressed. Took them exactly 23 mins till we got our drinks. Thus to say we paid and left.

Wir suchten etwas spezielles für unseren Familienausflug nach Konstanz. Was wir im Old Marys Pub angetroffen haben, hat alle unsere Erwartungen getoppt. Der Koch Massimo ist eine Klasse für sich. Er hat uns Verwöhnt "nach Noten". Massimo kocht mit Leidenschaft und Herz. Herzlichen Dank! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder einmal. Danke auch an die Pub-Dame Alina. Massimo und Alina sind ein unschlagbares Team.

Went to the pub quiz for the first time. It was a lot of fun and the espresso martini was delicious!

Angela y Raymond tienen que decir un encantador pub/restaurante no sobre el tema irlandés. Las comidas y el menú era muy bueno, el servicio tip top, también una muy buena selección de cervezas probado el local, Guinness y Kilkenny eran todos excelentes y a un precio muy razonable, cuando te dan una pinta o Guinness por 5 euros en una zona turística popular siendo un escocés te quejas cannae. Las dos noches que estuvimos allí conocimos a algunas personas encantadoras en Old Marys. Conocí a una pareja de Holanda y a un chico fantástico originario de Nottingham, gran loco durante el fútbol en la televisión viendo el partido de Holanda en las pantallas grandes. Bien vale la pena una visita volveremos ya que la zona del lago de Constanza es una zona fantástica no nos quedamos el tiempo suficiente, ya que tuvimos que pasar a los juegos de Escocia.

La cerveza está fría y los vasos limpios. La comida es muy buena para el precio, buena selección de comida tipo bar. El personal es amable y el hombre extra milla. Merece la pena visitarlo Solo el lado negativo es que hay muy poco espacio para pararse en la barra, así que si estás por tu cuenta se te puede asignar una mesa por tu cuenta para sentarse allí como "Billy - no - amigos". De lo contrario no puede ir mal...

Opening hours are listed until 3 a.m., we were there at 1:50 and the woman working behind the bar just screams! Coming here from Stuttgart especially to experience such an impudence!! Either adjust the opening times or stick to them even if the older lady doesn't feel like it anymore... This happened on the night of May 25th to 26th and we have it on video. So not recommended!! Addendum: Thank you for your answer and comment. I can understand that it closes earlier if there is nothing going on in the bar. However, on the evening in question the bar was busy and the guests still had full glasses…. I'm also a fan of the direct manner, but I find shouting ZUUU, ZUU without any further words, unfriendly and not direct!

I really like going to Old Mary's Pub... it's comfortably furnished, the food is good, the price is right, the boss and the waitresses are very nice and attentive... sometimes it's a bit noisy, but there's also an adjoining room for undisturbed entertainment

We were there yesterday and ordered burgers and dundele. These came before our drinks, with the reason that the boss had prepared them. They were hot but tasted like fast food. The dundele didn't arrive until 10 minutes later, which meant we couldn't eat together or really enjoy it. Plus it was just full of cheese and therefore very “heavy”. Service was friendly but picked up my plate while I was still eating. Maybe it was just meant to be nice, but all in all we weren't satisfied

Very authentic and cozy pub right in Konstanz. The drinks were very tasty and the bartender was extremely attentive, friendly and impressed us so much with his funny, relaxed manner that we ended up back here the next evening. TOP !

Landed here by chance and was completely thrilled, you can only feel comfortable here, the bartender is passionate about his job, you immediately feel welcome.

We had an amazing night! I would recommend going here. And also thanks to the bartender Max, he made our evening! (Ask for a special made cocktail, he knows what he is doing).

A very great shop where Max (the owner) takes care of you and spoils you with all sorts of delicacies. A dream. The ambience is also wonderful. So nice that I would love to live there if Max would allow it (but unfortunately he doesn't)... Nevertheless, I'm proud to call myself a regular guest! I also admire the staff's commitment to going out in the evening and getting vegan cheese so that I can have the pizza I want. All in all, wonderful.

Great pub in Konstanz. The two young service staff were extremely competent and friendly. You made our stay special! The “Dünnerle” are a great alternative to tarte flambée. How about a version with sourdough? The red onions are a great choice. The bacon could be exchanged for "real" bacon from the piece of "ham bacon". But it also tasted so good! There is also a great selection of drinks. It was also good that rugby was shown that evening and there was a nice “pub atmosphere” 🙂

I go to Old Mary's regularly. I really like the atmosphere and the service is great. I really enjoy eating pizza there, I can only recommend it!

The type of cuisine doesn't really match the style of the pub, but the quality is definitely better than what I know from pub food (I had the daily special, see picture). Nice service and a good selection of alcoholic drinks to suit most tastes.

American Review - We had the best time last night! Walked by, and the owner, Max, told us he was about to open. We he sounded so nice, and fish and chips are always a good option, so we decided to pop in! All of the staff were so friendly and it was probably the best fish in a fish & chips dish I've ever had! Highly recommend. Very reasonable drink prices.

Truly not an Irish pub. Come if you want to experience a mediocre restaurant dressed as an Irish pub and eat some dire scran. Also, if you want to watch Ireland play in a sport, like world cup rugby, for example, be ready to be told "no promises." Place might be halfway redeemable if they had any kind of clue about how to pour Guinness (the head is supposed to reach the head of the glass, lads).

Super Ort um ein Bier zu trinken oder eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Typischer irish pub

Nette kleine Kneipe. Etwas laut, man versteht sich kaum. Etwas Schall absorbieren wäre Klasse.

Wir hatten zum Einen eine Gaststätte in Konstanz gesucht mit Parkplatz und sind erstmal lange herumgefahren, bevor wir auf einem Parkplatz eines Supermarkts angefahren sind... Dann suchte ich vergeblich nach einer Möglichkeit für unsere Tochter auf Toilette zu gehen... Da haben wir beide erstmal bei Old Marys Pub nachgefragt. Und prompt und sehr zuvorkommend wurde uns die Tür gezeigt. Und da es so schön gemütlich aussah, haben wir nach der Speisekarte gefragt und hinein geschaut. Und dürften diese mit zum Auto zu Rest unserer Familie mitnehmen. Wir haben sehr lecker Pizza und ein Pastagericht mit Büffelbratwurst gegessen. Der junge Mann, das Küchenpersonal und die Bedienung waren sehr nett und das Essen kam prompt. Danke und viele Grüße aus dem hohen Norden, aus dem schönen Ammerland :)

A great choice for tourists! Prices are affordable, the food is great, the beer too and the personnel were very nice and bilingual. If you're new to Konstanz and don't know where to go to, this is the place for you.

We visited Old Mary's Pub with two adults and two kids. As they had Cordon Blue as a special, we were convinced that they are used to prepare it well. The kids choosed the cutlet. We were surprised that all plates looked similar and there was no decoration at all, not even a slice of tomato or of salad. It looked a bit loveless. But nevermind. But when we tried the meat, I had the feeling that they used a ready-made sauce which tasted like nothing. Unfortunately, the pub doesn't has any curtain around the entrance, so everytime that anybody entered, we received a cold wind from outside. As the pub wasn't heated, it felt uncomfortable soon. When two of us just finished, the waitress immediately cleared our plates which I felt uncomfortable again. In total not recommendable

If you're looking a cosy pub that isn't too crowded, Mary's is the perfect place. It's owned by nearby Logan's, but we actually preferred this pub due to the amazing customer service from the bartender. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy. If we had stayed longer in Konstanz, we certainly would have gone back. There is an extensive whisky menu and also cocktails.

Nice little restaurant/pub and the food is excellent... Different kind of pizza (or whatever they call it) I would recommend to make reservation. The place can be fast busy. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are really reasonable.

Ihr liebt Pizza & Irisches Bier? Dann seid ihr hier genau richtig. Die Kult Kneipe gibt es bereits seit 40 Jahren. Ein Dauerbrenner sozusagen, nie langweilig, sehr gemütlich, immer nett bedient, sehr gute Preisleistung, leckere Pizza und hausgemachtes Eis. Wenn man Glück hat und zur späten Stunde kommt erlebt man noch dazu dass Unicum „Luigi“ der Patrone und die Seele des Old Marys Pub. Sobald man den Raum betritt fühlt man sich ein wenig so als würde man direkt in Luigi Wohnzimmer Platz nehmen. Und wenn Antonio persönlich die Pizza aus der Küche serviert, fühlt man sich direkt privilegiert so als ob man eine persönliche Einladung zum Essen bekommen hätte. Kurz um, Pizza pikante oder Zwiebel Speck Dünnele, dazu ein Fläschchen Bio Barbera aus dem Piemont, zum Dessert Piccolino Zartbitter mit Banane. Da fehlt zum Glück nur noch der Espresso mit dem obligatorischen Grappa zum Abschluss. Ich kann nur empfehlen einmal selbst auf dem roten Samtsofa Platz zu nehmen. Und übrigens hin und wieder gibt’s richtig Jazz, vom feinsten von der Rock und Popschule Konstanz mit super Drummer Patrick Manzecchi!

Food is ok Not more Not less. Its a nice pub but do Not visit for the food. Pizza are Kind of deep frozen Style. Steaks are Not the best meat so better get a good Kilkeney to make up for the food.

Waren mit einer achtköpfigen Gruppe hier, um etwas zu trinken. Obwohl außer uns kaum Gäste da waren, zeigte sich die Bedienung sehr unsouverän, unfreundlich und genervt. Die Speisekarte enthielt vieles - aber keine Burger (Thema „Pub“ verfehlt zum 1.). Das Bier wurde schlecht gezapft serviert. Nach 20 Minuten wurden wir gebeten leiser zu sein - in einem Pub! (Thema „Pub“ verfehlt zum 2.). Die Stimmung war anschließend dahin. Nie wieder!

Abbiamo optato per questo posto già dalla vista esterna con una grande finestra che permetteva di vedere l'interno. Luci soffuse, ambiente caldo e musica in sottofondo. Titolari misti, donne tedesche (al bancone) e uomini italiani (in cucina). Varietà di birre sia alla spina che in bottiglia, rigorosamente ghiacciate, ed una pizza molto gustosa e cotta a regola d'arte. Caratteristico la sera, dove puntualmente arriva qualcuno che fa uno spettacolo musicale o simile. Ne vale la pena!

Die älteste Studentenkneipe in Konstanz finden Sie nicht in der " Niederburg ", sondern an der Kreuzlinger- , Ecke Scheffelstrasse. Hier ist es gemütlich auf bequemen Sofas, an kleinen Tischen oder etwas erhöht an der Fensterfront. Die " Dünnele " sind eine Wucht ! ( EUR 7,50 ) die Karte ist umfangreicher geworden - es schmeckt! Bier vom Fass ( Rothaus, Guiness ) und eine ordentliche Weinauswahl lassen keinen Gast zu kurz kommen. Das ansprechende Ambiente mit alten Fotos an der Wand gefällt ebenso wie der immer freundliche Service. Leider gibt´s keine Außenplätze - aber das wäre wohl zu viel des Guten...

Old Marys Pub existiert seit den 70er Jahren unverändert in Konstanz. Eine gemütliche Kneipe mit Ladwein, Guiness, Pizza und Dünnele. Ab und zu gibt es Live Musik und der Salat hat DIE spezielle Salatsosse, die als Geheimtipp auch ausser Haus verkauft wird. Antonio der Koch macht alles selbst und legt auf Nachhaltikeit Wert! Es gibt einen Raucherraum, in den man sich ad hoc zurückziehen kann, aber leider im Sommer keine Gelegenheit zum draussensitzen, dafür ist es innen angenehm kühl. Meine Lieblingspizza ist ganz klar die Calzone! Aber auch das Pub Steak mit Spaghetti ist nicht zu verachten...Antonios Variante der "Piccata Milanaise"

Spontan am Freitag Abend vorbei geschaut und Glück gehabt, dass wir zumindest für 2 Stunden noch einen Tisch bekommen haben. Insgesamt urig, gemütliches Flair. Essen ging relativ schnell und war sehr lecker. Wir hatten Calzone und Lasagne, was beides sehr zu empfehlen ist. Die Bedienung war nett und freundlich, hätte aber gerne auch etwas aufmerksamer sein dürfen.

Old Mary's is an institution in Konstanz. It is a bit like Marmite, you love it or hate it. I love it. Food is great, no fuss, no frills basic pup-food made with love and tastes great. The décor and atmosphere is great (a bit strange, a bit warn, a bit weird and definitely not sterile - It has character )

Von außen etwas düster, aber drinnen gemütlich mit alten Bildern an den Wänden eingerichtet. ich kann mich nicht mehr daran erinnern, wann ich das letzte Mal so eine perfekte Calzone genießen durfte. Super. Weiter so.
