Delicious pizza, mostly very friendly service

Wir hatten nicht reserviert, das Restaurant war voll- und wir wurden freundlich an der netten Bar platziert und sofort mit Getränken versorgt. Sobald ein Tisch frei wurde, durften wir umziehen. Im Lokal fühlt man sich an Italienurlaube aus der Kindheit zurückversetzt: Getöpferte Meerestierchen an den Wänden, alte Bilder und Fotos von italienischen Schönheiten vergangener Tage hängen dazwischen. Ganz wundervoll! Zum Essen: Der kleine, knackige Salat hatte ein feines Dressing, die Pizza war dünn und hochwertig belegt. Hervorrgender, flotter und aufmerksamer Service und nette Tischnachbarn. Bester Italiener Münchens!

Pasta was beyond al dente. Instead of a well-cooked sauce, just individual tomatoes on the pasta. Not possible to pay with card, had to pay in cash. Service became unfriendly after no tip was given. Coffee was good.

Nice little restaurant, it's not decorated in a modern style, which I personally really like! The service is nice, I didn't wait long and depending on where you sit you can see the pizza being made. That being said, I didn't find the food to be particularly good, the pizza was (again, for me personally) too thin and dry. Nonetheless it's a nice restaurant!

A very tasty and thin pizza, with authentic Italian ingredients and a cool Italian atmosphere. The pizza took a little bit long, but it was worthy waiting. There’s only place for approx 15 people. I will come back

Small Italian restaurant near the center of Munich. Tasty food, attentive service, fast service and fair prices. Every day, the pasta menu changes (with 2 pasta options) and a few different pizzas appear on the menu. The place is small and a bit cramped, especially in winter (since the outside tables are not used). When we arrived, the restaurant had no tables available. The waitress quickly suggested we sit at the counter until a table became available. We liked the pizzas and the pasta of the day (garlic and oil) was very good too. It's worth it.

Man, that was a lovely evening. Between all the chicness of downtown Munich, this is just a place to feel good in authentic Italo style with good food at really good prices.

The pizza isn’t your classic charred wood-fire but it’s very tasty, AND the staff are super friendly, AND the atmosphere is great. No frills dining with good food and real people. Loved it. The girl out front is a legend…

One of the best pizzas I tried! We ordered the pizzas of the day and they brought us a Pizza Bianca with pumpkin that was a dream 🤩 La Panna Cotta was also one of the best I’ve tried outside of Italy.

Pizza really wasn't worth the money, super salty, I only finished half of it. My companion said the same thing and neither of us are sensitive to salt. Still had to pay for the pizza - outrageous, I really don't recommend it to anyone. We were then even told that we should have said this earlier and that they usually offer “a coffee”. What should I do with a hypothetical coffee? I really never give out bad reviews, but I have to express this condescending and rude manner

Great value for money in an otherwise quite expensive environment. Some vegan dishes, depending on the daily offering. I go here regularly.

Great food, tasty, well prepared, worth the price! Don't forget to order starters - you won't regret it. We really enjoyed every meal here. You're not going here for the ambience, at least not Munich style ambience. But authentic, food quality focused meals. Highly recommended! Service was great as well.

The bartender was so incredibly rude that I left immediately. The sound makes the music...The previous visit, the service was incredibly slow. Very bad combination!

The small restaurant on Sebastiansplatz in Munich is very cozy, simple and affordable. The service is nice and on point.

It was busy and it took a while before we could order, but the pizza and coffee were delicious.

The pizza is a bit too salty, and the fishy smell of the dried fish is a bit strong, which I am not used to. Pasta is delicious and delicious simply seasoned with olive oil.

In the heart of Munich, near the synagogue, not a typical chic Italian, but simply a worthwhile place to meet people who are still human/friends.

The food was very good and not too expensive either. Unfortunately, it has to be noted that it took a very long time, but there was also an exceptionally busy time. The service staff was a bit overwhelmed and took a long time to do everything.

If you are passing through Munich you may waste a lot of time here. The food was good, but it didn't justify more than an hour waiting when there were so few customers. They gave us the pizza along with other pizzas from people who arrived a long time later. I just don't understand it. I would also highlight that they are kind people.

Pizza is average at best, this restaurant absolutely doesn't deserve 4.4 stars. Dough is not good and reminds me more of tarte flambée. The cheese is cheap industrial cheese and not mozzarella. And the pizza isn't big either. So I definitely can't recommend it!

One of the best pizzerias in Munich, very centrally located on Sebastiansplatz or its connection to Rosental. Prices for Munich city center are very humane, service is attentive and extremely friendly. It's great to sit outside in the summer. Reservations are strongly recommended. Please note: the restaurant is open in the afternoon, but the kitchen is cold until usually 5:30 p.m.

Super cute place with very good pizza and salads. The lemon ice cream, served in a real lemon, is also highly recommended!! However, it is not easy to get or reserve a place.

The food is very good, very good pizzas, in the center of Munich and it is a bonus that the waitress is Spanish. Definitely recommended if you want to eat pizzas and also at a good price.

The waiting was so short. The food was amazing. The waiter's attitude was great. Is was so cold and nice inside. We got all of out forks and knives without having the waitress roll her eyes on us. NOT!!!!!! Awful service rude waiters and mid food. Dont come here unless you want to spend an entire day wating to be ecknoledged by the stuff and then getting eyes rollsd by them. Rude bad restursnt. Wont return for peace.

He sido un visitante frecuente de la Pizzería il grano durante más de quince años. Siempre me gustó el sitio, ya que está fuera de cualquier ruta turística concurrida. Y la pizza es simplemente fuera de este mundo. Sí, es así de bueno. Durante mucho tiempo también tuvo el verdadero aspecto de un pequeño restaurante de pueblo todoterreno en los bosques de Italia. Cruz de madera, estatua de plástico de la Madre María y todo. Lo único fue: ya que es un lugar bastante pequeño, no era una buena opción para una visita de trucos. A menos que usted trajo tiempo para esperar o, aún mejor, todavía encontró la oportunidad de hacer una reserva por adelantado. Desde entonces, el lugar ha sufrido algunos cambios, un poco de un cepillo modernizador. La madonna de plástico se ha ido y la música ya no es estándar italiano, sino pop inglés. Todo de buen gusto y estilo. Y lo más importante: la pizza sigue fuera de este mundo. Pero mientras que el Grano de los viejos tiempos era más un consejo interno y por lo tanto solo rara vez se mermelada - lleno o lleno de visitantes, hoy es la historia muy diferente. Lamentablemente eso ha sido quitar la diversión de una visita. La fila de personas esperando para sentarse es bastante impresionante en algunos días. Y aunque la gente, que está trabajando allí, es muy agradable y está tratando de hacer todo lo posible para estar a la altura del aumento del tráfico, todo parece bastante desorganizado. He estado trabajando en bares y restaurantes cuando era joven. Lo primero fue, aprendimos, que la gente se sentaba y les daba un trago lo antes posible. No dejarlos varados afuera mientras hay varias mesas desiertas esperando a ser limpiadas y que la gente se siente allí de nuevo. También a menudo está tomando mucho tiempo simplemente para que alguien acepte los pedidos de las bebidas. Así que, después de que hayas esperado una mesa, hayas esperado para hacer tus pedidos, prepárate para esperar de nuevo las bebidas. Y luego, como en mis últimas tres visitas allí, será otro tiempo para su comida. Además de todo, estuve confinado a comer en interiores las últimas cuatro veces que fui allí. We waited for ten minutes till we were allowed in. We waited another twenty minutes till they got our order. It's hot here with no ventilation and it's crowded. Every other table got free bread and we didn't. We didn't get any forks and knives and when we asked the waitress she had bad attitude She threw it on the table near us and rolled her eyes. Then we waited snother fourty minutes for our food which was mid. In conclusion don't support this disrespectful business

The food came very quickly and was still really good, the service was very friendly and there was a very pleasant atmosphere.

Nice pizzeria with very friendly, helpful staff! The restaurant itself isn't a feast for the eyes, but that's not what you come here for. There isn't as huge a selection of pizza as other places, but there's certainly something for everyone. The toppings per pizza are a little less than what I'm used to, there are usually only 2 to 3 different ingredients on it. Maybe that's intentional/original. Skill-wise they were definitely good.

The pizza is the best in Munich, the ambiance makes you feel like you are in Italy and for such a central spot it is very quiet and relaxing.

Ich bin regelmäßig mit meiner Freundin im Grano und wir sind jedesmal mehr als zufrieden. Die Bedienung ist immer aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist richtig lecker, ob Salate, Pizzen oder das Tagesnudelgericht. Wir haben uns jedesmal richtig wohl gefühlt. Mitten in der Stadt dieses kleine Plätzchen zu absolut fairen Preisen. Der Grauburgunder ist empfehlenswert und Preis-Leistung top. Danke liebes Grano-Team für wunderbare Abende bei euch.

Food is average since pasta was over cooked. I felt like this could have been done easily at home. Didn’t expect this from an Italian restaurant. Pizzas were ok but there are way better ones in Munich. If you don’t have high expectations and are easily pleased then you won’t be disappointed but wouldn’t go again.

I really enjoy coming here. Super tasty pizzas, the seating is great and the service is always good. Today, however, it was unfortunately very unfriendly. We didn't have a reservation, so I went and asked the employee nicely if there was a chance of a place for three in about 15 minutes. There she said to me, currently only inside, she can't promise that anything will be free. I noticed that two men had ordered the bill from her, so I asked nicely if we could sit there when we came back in 15 minutes. The mushy answer was again, she can't promise it. 15 minutes later the three of us came back. A friend who was there then asked the same service employee nicely if there was a chance of getting 3 places. “You just asked me that” was the direct answer to my friend, she had mixed us up… Well, okay. After a few minutes we were kindly seated. Drinks and food were served quickly and were great. When paying, the employee described asked us whether we should pay together or separately. She came with the entire bill. A friend asked her if she should calculate something with her cell phone, I said to her or we'll just throw it together, what difference does it make? Then one look and the sentence “I just have to add it up.” Little use of the words please or thank you, which is a shame. Maybe in the future we'll just have to make a reservation and stop coming over spontaneously, maybe that'll relax the mood. We would still like to come back

Terrible service, you could only order drinks or food. Aperol is served in a mini glass. Uncomfortable plastic chairs outside. Kitchen opens at 5:30 p.m. Then of course you can't order food at 5:29 p.m. We then left without eating… never again

For some reason the store is always full, I live around the corner. From a hygienic point of view it's a total disaster, best regards to the waitress, put the lemon into the glass with a fork and not with your hand. My food was too salty, it wasn't worth waiting 30 minutes for the pizza.

Wir waren auf Durchreise in München und sind spontan beim schlendern am Restaurant vorbeigelaufen. Glücklicherweise haben wir noch einen Platz für 2 in der Sonne bekommen. Preis-Leistung ist für den Standort mehr als in Ordnung. Die Pizza hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir würden wieder herkommen!

We were there shortly before opening (11.25) and sat down at a sunny table. The employees passed us several times on their way between the warehouse and the café, looked at us and that was it. I had to go in and ask to order and was then served rudely ("My God, that was 5 minutes. You should actually ask before you sit down"). But for me it was about not being perceived as a guest. Was not understood. Bad service. I'm annoyed that I ordered something anyway. Don't come anymore.

Entro nel locale ed aspetto minimo 15 minuti prima che qualcuno mi degni di attenzione e mi chieda in quanti siamo. Dopo aver preso posto ed ordinato una pizza grano sono passati 20 minuti. Al suo arrivo aveva l'aspetto ed il gusto di una piadina. Alcun segno di minima lievitazione, bordo e centro completamente allo stesso livello e persino cruda. La rimando indietro. Mi ritorna una sfoglia più cotta di prima che si sgretolava mangiandola. Il prosciutto crudo è diventato prosciutto cotto dopo esser stato cotto in forno col risultato che ha accentuato ancora di più la sua sapidità. Il pomodoro era acido e dal gusto di concentrato. Ho mangiato perché avevo fame. Una pessima piadina farcita. Ovviamente non ci metterò più piede.

The Grano is simply great! Not too much choice, not too little and what there is is also good. Of course, it's always a bit cramped due to its size, but the service is quick and polite. The store simply has charm. It can sometimes take a while at lunchtime if everyone comes at once. Sitting outside is often a challenge. Firstly because there is rarely a free space and secondly because the sun shines quite strongly into the small alley. I can particularly praise the pizza. You have to look for a long time to find a more Italian version in Munich. Thin dough, coordinated toppings, high-quality ingredients. Exactly like that and no different!

Grano is actually a great shop. Good food, casual, simple, authentic and above all cozy, even if it's tight. If only it weren't for this infinitely unfriendly service. It's not that you won't be served there, no, that's fine, you just always have the feeling that you're a burden as a guest. It's just not fun. A few employees there simply have no idea how to treat a guest or don't know how to deal with guests normally. But like many restaurants in Munich, they simply don't care because people still come and the place will be full again the next day anyway. Best example of a service desert.

Roman pizza so very thin. Great toppings. Pasta also very good. Unfortunately always very crowded because it is very central but still quiet because of the pedestrian zone and also nice with children. Very nice and helpful service but you have to wait quite a long time to be seated.

Food and drinks were served very quickly. Service very friendly and professional. Portions of food good and quality. Prices increased like everywhere else. Overall, the pizzeria is recommended because smaller rooms make a reservation better.

Cozy little pizzeria with nice staff and very good prices for this location. We were only there for a wine, but we were so impressed by the atmosphere that we will come back more often. Very tasty house wine Rosé 😃 However, it was completely full, you definitely have to make a reservation if you want to stay longer.

One of the best places I've been to in Munich. They give great service, the background music is perfect and the food is excellent. The waitress with short brunette hair took great care of us and gives us very good energy. 100% recommended to eat in the center of Munich.

We were very often in this small pizzeria, the pizzas and salads are very tasty and the price-performance ratio is absolutely right. But the service is more than unfriendly, it's really a shame. We and our friends don't come here anymore!
