Great atmosphere and a great service team! UPDATE: Abiente: 0 points!!! But the team keeps 1000 points!!! Unfortunately, the lower echelons of management at the attached Revo Hotel think the restaurant is THEIR office… Tables are occupied as desired, the staff is tied up and the “telephone conferences” via speakerphone IN THE LOCAL are really bad! Actually, all the Babos have their own offices here, but apparently everyone has “lost” the keys to these offices. There is this “coworkin space” on the 1st floor! So have a good trip!

Perfect Italian Restaurant Experience – Thanks Julia! I had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Italian restaurant today and it was a real highlight! Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service that we received from Julia. Not only was she friendly and attentive, but she also had a great recommendation for the wine that went perfectly with our meal. The ambience of the restaurant is very cozy and authentic, and the menu offers a great selection of classic Italian dishes. Our starter – bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and basil – was an absolute delight. The main course, a homemade lasagne, was creamy, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Finishing with a delicious tiramisu was the perfect rounding off. The atmosphere was particularly remarkable: Julia's warm manner made us feel completely comfortable and welcome. She fulfilled every wish with a smile and was always courteous without seeming intrusive. Overall, it was an unforgettable evening and we can highly recommend this restaurant. The only small negative point was the background music, which doesn't quite do justice to an Italian Canteen. Maybe it was also due to our baby boomer taste in music, something can certainly be done about that. Regardless, definitely recommended, even without a table reservation.

We were there at the weekend, it was a bit annoying that it said online that it would be closed until January 12th and then it was open. The friendly waitress (Lisa?) made up for it straight away. Super friendly and top service. We also received tips for our stay and really felt very welcome and comfortable. At breakfast everything was great and the gentleman tried very hard ☺️

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with the service. Orders were sometimes forgotten. Approximately 1 hour after the first of the group had their food, the food for the last of the group (10 p.) arrived. Lots of confusion among the staff.

A nice bar, somewhat sober atmosphere, but also very good non-alcoholic cocktails. The pizza 🍕 was very good and was served in record time, even though we only ordered very shortly before the kitchen closed. Pizza was phenomenally delicious!

The food is good, you can see they make the pizzas in a stone oven since parts of the crust are charred or outright burned - which in one of our cases meant that half of the crust of one pizza was inedible. The service was on the slower side even though less than half the tables were occupied (15 minutes wait for ordering drinks). And the waitress got me a bottle of Fanta but instead of giving me the glass she already had with her she just left with the glass and I had to drink from the bottle (not a big problem but it was a bit weird). The music in the evening was rather loud and somewhat heavy on the eras. It reminded me more of a club than a restaurant. It's also on the more expensive side for what you're actually getting.

The Italian Canteen is part of the Revo Hotel, but is anything but a “hotel restaurant”. The service is very nice and courteous, the audience is a mix of young, international hotel guests and people who work in the surrounding companies and like to use the restaurant both at lunchtime and in the evening. Pizza, pasta and salads are great and definitely recommended as take-away. The interior is lofty/industrial and offers different seating options -- for large and small groups, for eating or at the bar for drinks. There is usually something going on here and a nice atmosphere.

It's a shame, it started very well and slowed down a lot. The once very friendly staff from the early days is gone, now you have some staff who seem bored and slouch around. Is it due to personnel management? My very praising words from 2 years ago were not passed on to the staff, although this was promised in the management's response to my very good review at the time. There were times when we felt welcome, a quick chat with the staff was normal. Where have the good people gone and where do the sometimes disinterested staff come from? Communication is important but constant rattling at the tap and little customer contact? Too bad. We are actually not demanding and although our tip was always at least 10%, about 6 weeks ago the change was thrown on the table with a disdainful look and there was no thank you. After that, mediocre visits. We were guests again at the beginning of this week. Since no one was at our table for a long time and subtle hand signals were not registered, I went to the cash register to pay. Why I didn't receive an invoice before paying but was only given a total is a mystery to me. The order would be the invoice first, then the payment. But here too, no thanks for the usual tip. The food is partly a matter of luck and probably always depends on the cook/pizza maker. A big drawback is the menu. Ok for guests passing through, but now boring for locals as there is no variety. Thanks to the new staff in the service, we are now really out. We go from almost weekly to zero. Too bad.

We took advantage of the opportunity to eat in the restaurant because it was right in our hotel and we were really hungry after a long drive. The atmosphere is chic and contemporary. The food was overall very tasty. What I unfortunately have to criticize are the 2 ladies who worked in the evenings the last few days and therefore served us. I don't want to wait 10-15 minutes to even be asked for a drink. The serving of our drinks and food was a bit sad. After I said thank you, there was a hesitant, quiet and listless “please”. I also noticed the waitress at the table across from us leaning against the table with both arms on the edge and telling the customer that something she had ordered wasn't available. The situation didn't affect me personally, but we were in a restaurant and nowhere where you stand and pose like that in front of a customer.

Unfortunately not as great as supposedly advertised on Insta. The pizza base was so thin and moist that you had to scrape it off the plate with a knife. Unfortunately, the taste is not a highlight either! Not at all crispy and tasty. The ambience may be okay for a quick lunch, but not at all for a leisurely dinner or even a date. There was no more cola and the Aperol Spritz was unfortunately more than watery. We won't eat there a second time.

I was at the Italian Canteen on Spritz Thursday in September. Unfortunately there was no Aperol Spritz. The pizza that was served was really great, unfortunately not everything on the menu could be ordered. The service wasn't very pleasant either. When I pointed out that the spritz was incorrectly billed on the bill, I didn't receive a friendly apology.

The restaurant was closing, I asked the waitress for a beer... She could have said it was no longer possible... She was extremely rude and told me to leave the restaurant immediately... Never again...

TL;DR: The customer is being deceived. Paying attention to the bill doesn't help either. The menu says that two desserts are discounted (not online, not with a coupon - directly on the menu!). However, the discount will not be reflected on the invoice. I pointed this out before paying, but they just said they should have said it beforehand. How much creativity and effort to cheat the customer! The service, food and everything else remains the same, but apparently they should have mentioned the discount when ordering. Why? That's just how it is. I then politely asked to just correct it. But they said I should place the order correctly next time. Not “right” – their whole approach is wrong. Decency: 0/10

Were there on the evening of July 24th, 2024 for a company dinner (unfortunately I only got around to writing a review now) While I actually have nothing to complain about about the food itself, I do have to criticize the service. I understand that it is currently difficult to find staff. I also understand that students or trainees who work part-time are of course the method of choice. What I don't understand is why you don't at least have an experienced service person to train the inexperienced. The whole thing started with our not very small group being ignored for quite a while after we arrived. Only half of us even had tickets. Then when they paid attention to us, they just wanted to take the drinks. It's true that you only take out the drinks at first so that people still have time to choose the food, but if you make people wait that long, then by then people will have already chosen their food and want to order. At this point you can definitely demonstrate flexibility as a waiter. Well, drinks accepted. Another unusually long waiting time. Drinks finally arrive, but again it takes a while. Some drinks were forgotten, others were not even ordered. After the 3rd attempt everyone finally had their correct drinks. The food order follows. Another long wait. Certainly more than 20 minutes. Then finally the food comes. Portion wise. This means that when the last person finally gets their food, the first one has almost eaten it. Not ideal for the mood. But the whole thing was crowned when a colleague found chewed gum in her salad and almost swallowed it. Waitress says it can't possibly be her fault and almost assumes her colleague that it's her chewing gum. At least the colleague got a new salad and a schnapps to rinse out her mouth. She still had to pay for the salad. Then the payment. Waitress miscalculates the Manzo when ordering 1 small bottle of water + Peposo. It seems like a difficult order... And another note: the restaurant was not full! Probably not even 50% of the tables were occupied. It would be a lie to say that the team was overloaded due to a high volume. The staff needs to be trained. All in all, I probably would have gotten up and left after being completely ignored by the staff for over 10 minutes. Since it was a working lunch, I stayed. Once again, 10 horses can't get me in anymore. The substandard quality of the service undermined the good quality of the food.

The food was very good. Pizza is the size you would expect from an Italian restaurant, but an appetizer is recommended with pasta. Unfortunately, the starters sometimes come together with the main course or in between. The staff was very nice, the languages ​​spoken were very different, but English always works. The music was louder than just background music, and a DJ came on halfway through the visit. His music was too loud to have a good conversation and it felt like it was getting louder and louder.

Wow!! Great food (we shared a very tasty pizza (bacon, pear, walnuts...) and each had a side salad with it. The salad was REALLY good!! Versatile with fried vegetables, lettuce and tomatoes... Mmmmhhh! The service was very attentive! We will be back....!

Nice pizzeria with an open atmosphere. Since I was there at lunchtime, I can't say anything about the noise in the evening when it's full. Pleasant music in the background. Toilets are clean and smell good. The pizza with the balsamic onions was very tasty and something different. Lots of good mozzarella on the pizza. The service was very friendly and offered a kind of menu: order a main course and the drink is on the house 👍🏼 Two nice details caught my eye: - Sharp knives - coarsely adjusted salt and pepper mills There was 'colorful' pepper in the pepper mill: red, green and black... which is rare in the catering industry and enhances the dish not only in terms of taste but also visually.

We were there for dinner and were welcomed to bed first. Pizza dough was too thin, only the edge was good. The salad came without the warm vegetables we ordered, but with 3 small pieces of tomato. Not recommended, especially not for the price. :(

Super tasty dough and great ingredients. We were there with 5 people and everyone loved the pizza. Unusual toppings and really tasty. I had a pizza with chili and honey. The hot and sweet honey was super delicious. The wine was also very tasty.

Wir hatten heute am 27.12. mittags zufällig das Restaurant entdeckt, extra noch die Öffnungszeiten am Aufsteller und auf der Webseite gecheckt und uns schon auf ein schönes Dinner für den selben am Abend gefreut. Abends dann dort angekommen war der Laden jedoch verschlossen und nebenan im Hotel beschied man uns daß das Lokal bis zum 30.12. geschlossen sei. Wenn man es nicht nötig hat auf solch einen Umstand weder per Aushang, noch auf der eigenen Webseite darauf hinzuweisen, und auch nicht den Werbeaufsteller wegräumt, und damit die Gäste veprellt, dann ist das ein ganz schlechter Stil.

Kantine ist der richtige Begriff. Nach dem großen essen war ich und Kollegen etliche Stunden auf Keramik gefangen. Zum Service, 45 min. für das erste Getränk und die Pizza nach 1 1/2 Stunden serviert.

Wir waren hier im Rahmen einer kleinen Weihnachtsfeier. Essen war gut. Da gab es nichts auszusetzen. Ambiente war mir persönlich etwas zu modern, da ich es etwas gemütlicher mag. Aber alles sehr schön. Personal sehr freundlich, aber hätte ein klein wenig besser organisiert sein können. Bei der Menge der Gäste an dem Abend aber zu entschuldigen. Ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden. Da kann man gut wieder hingehen

Quite a busy little cafe, it was almost full when we arrived...the service was friendly & very quick...we had starters & pizzas...the pizza prices were around 15 to 20 euros each...the pizzas had allot of crust firstly, they come out uncut & when we tried to cut pieces it was quite difficult...the taste was good but there was just too much crust...about 40% of the pizza was crust...so allot of the pizza went to waste...

AMAZING PIZZAS. Very comfortable atmosphere. I especially loved the Mr Burns Pizza. Highly recommended going here. Great service by the lady (5 stars) but sometimes when I visited there was a creepy man serving who made weird conversation (asked my age and a lot more) which made me very uncomfortable. Pizzas came so fresh and almost immediately. I ate here every weekend. Very yummy food.

Wir haben in einem benachbarten Hotel übernachtet und waren dort zum Abendessen. Hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Schöne Location, freundlicher Service, sehr leckere Pizza und auch sehr gute Preise. Wir haben zu 2t 31€ für eine Margherita, Caprese mit frisch gebackenem Flatbread und 2 grosse Flaschen Wasser bezahlt. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Ecke übernachten kommen wir gerne wieder.
