L'Osteria München Bauhausplatz in München

I have been working as a delivery driver for 3 years but this is my worst experience with this restaurant. First, they accept orders at closing time and then say, “Our kitchen is closed.”But customers were sitting inside the restaurant and the kitchen was not closed. When I went there to pick up the order, a lady started shouting at me and said, "We haven't received any such order."She was shouting at me for no reason. Instead of doing her work, she was just giving me excuses. She was already stressed. Sometimes she said, "We haven't received this order." Sometimes she said, "Our kitchen is closed." Sometimes she said, "Someone else took this order."And she was calling herself the manager. She spoke to me in a very rude manner and disrespected me. She insulted me in front of the customers and the entire staff. She even asked me to leave the restaurant. Did I go there to waste my oil, waste my time. If you can't make an order, why accept it? You should not accept it so that no one's time and petrol is wasted. I felt very bad and thought it was a part of racism. I hope some action will be taken on this.Thank you 🙏🙏

Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by very friendly, competent, and attentive staff. The food was excellent.

We ate there this evening with the whole family; it was incredibly delicious, great food, very nice waiter, as always, everything was perfect.

There were three of us and we had to wait 10 minutes, despite having a reservation. Then another 15 minutes before we were served. The waitress apologized for this immediately, which we took very positively. We ordered two pizzas and one pasta dish. The pasta came very quickly, and we were told the pizzas would be right there. We thought they were already ready and the waiter just couldn't carry three dishes at once. However, the pizzas didn't arrive until 20 minutes (!) later... first we were allowed to watch one person eat, and then vice versa. When I go out to eat with two friends, I actually want to eat together... the pizzas were also almost cold, which we found really awful. We suspect that the pizzas were ready at the same time as the pasta, but they just sat in the kitchen counter for 20 minutes. For 18 euros per pizza, I expect a hot one... All in all, a very poor visit. We won't be back.

We had a reservation, but had to stand in the entrance for a long time because only one member of staff knew how to use the system. When we were seated at the table, it took a long time before we were served. The waitress apologized immediately and said she was busy in the kitchen. The drinks came quickly. But the food took a while. There were three of us. I had pasta and my friends had pizza. My pasta came pretty quickly. But my friends had to wait another 10-15 minutes for their pizza. I was almost finished with my food by the time the others got theirs. The pizzas were cold when they arrived at the table. We mentioned it. We were offered a drink as an apology. It seemed very disorganized.

We were there on a rainy afternoon, and the restaurant was fairly quiet. Delicious pizza, uncomplicated service, and a pleasant atmosphere. If we're ever in Munich again, we'd be happy to come back.

Reservations were quick, and the service and food were excellent. I'd be happy to go again.

Unfortunately, the same problem again. The food, three pasta dishes and one salad, were once again not served together. The salad was brought to our table significantly late. Eating together was impossible. On the plus side, the online payment process at the table was available.

Four of us went there on a Friday evening. The service was quick and friendly. The portions were huge, and the seasonal pumpkin salad was delicious!

Very good shop.. The food is delicious and the service is very good, fast, friendly, warm.. And the pizza we got and the pasta and the salads were all very delicious..

Due to its size, the pizza got cold quickly. The cola tasted like water. Despite complaining, I didn't get a replacement. They said the ratio is always the same. Then you can just order water. It tasted very good, but it got cold quickly. Friendly service. Online reservation worked very well.

Decent place for pizza. The size is big, and the dough is light, but the flavor could be more robust. The risottos were okay, and they came out quickly. Overall, a solid option if you're in the area, but nothing too memorable.

Delicious pizza 🍕 Very good and fast service. Payment is possible at the table via app. The restrooms are in the basement. There are some parking spaces in front of the door, plus a 500-meter walk.

We placed a large order for our company today, which was promised for 12:00 PM. It's now 1:43 PM – and we're still waiting. After checking with the restaurant, they found out the order had been on its way for a long time. Later, it turned out that it had actually only been ready for 20 minutes, and they had to find a driver with a car because the first driver was only on a bicycle. As if that weren't enough, they then informed us that pasta and salad would be delivered separately – and the pizza would take a second trip. This is completely unprofessional, extremely unreliable, and has ruined our entire lunch break. This is no way to treat customers!

Ordered from them twice, got nothing both times. The staff is absolutely unhelpful, albeit polite.

I'm truly disappointed. I've ordered spaghetti aglio e olio and a pizza three times now – each time it says that it contains Parmesan or hard cheese. I also always clearly state in the comments that the Parmesan cheese should be included. Unfortunately, this advice was completely ignored every time, and the food arrived without Parmesan. When you're a regular customer and such simple requests are consistently ignored, it's very annoying. Absolutely disappointing for me, and therefore, unfortunately, only one star.

Italian restaurant in Munich. Excellent pizza, really good and thicker than usual, with thin crust and good ingredients. Beautiful and spacious place, friendly and helpful staff. We'll be back.

Great for a lunch break, especially outside on the terrace, where you can relax and unwind with oleander, a parasol, and a friendly service team. My wait was short. The food was delicious, as always at L'Osteria. I find Sunday's scan & pay option, which allows you to pay directly at your table, very convenient. P.S.: I haven't been inside yet; it's too loud for me in most L'Osterias... my noise rating refers to the terrace.

We were here for lunch as a group of 8. Everything went smoothly: reservation, ordering a pizza to share, and drinks. Service was also quick and friendly. The pizzas are huge. So is the selection. We'll definitely be back.

The food is generally always good there. We ate there on April 14, 2025, and ordered extra cheese for my pasta. I had already sprinkled my pasta with it when I noticed in the small bowl that there was some mold in the cheese. I then asked the waiter, who said the cheese was a mix of different types, including blue cheese, and that's normal... I removed the mold, and the pasta still tasted normal, but the statement was obviously nonsense and a lie. Pretty cheeky.

Addendum Great service again today. Our waitress was lovely Selin. Friendly, always up for a joke, great service. The boss (I think it was him) was also nice and accommodating. They have great staff there. Looking forward to next time. Great food, pizza as promised on the menu, at least 5 cm over the edge of the plate, which was already at least 40 cm in diameter. The amount of topping was very generous. The staff was great, they kept asking for more information. The only thing that was perhaps too small was the table, especially for the size of the pizza 😀.

Everything was top-notch. Very attentive and friendly service. The food is absolutely amazing. The pizzas are so huge they don't even fit on the plate. Eating here is simply fantastic.

We ate exceptional pizza here, truly like in Italy, with a very thin crust! We didn't expect it, it was a very pleasant surprise. Although we entered only 50 minutes before closing time, we were welcomed and served kindly and quickly. Congratulations!

The pizza base wasn't cooked through, and the pizza was generally very, very dry! You don't need to come back; there are plenty of others in Munich that do it much better.

The service was great, I'm happy to tip! They even brought a birthday cake with them and they surprised me with a candle! Thank you for that, I was very happy. As for the food, it was delicious but unfortunately too expensive these days. My Caesar salad was delicious, but unfortunately there were only four small bite-sized pieces of chicken in it. I think €15 for this salad is a bit much, and I wouldn't order the salad again. The pizzas are delicious as always but really mega big and the plates are just too small! My brother's pasta wasn't cooked through, so he returned it. But they charged me for it. I didn't think that was so great!

The food is typical of L'Osteria and perfectly fine. Service isn't particularly good on some days... you sometimes have to wait a long time for small items, or they forget about you.

We went for lunch, and the food was excellent. The waitress was unfortunately very busy, but very polite. We'll be back.

Well, First of all, I'd like to say that the food is excellent. But, and this time a big but, the service needs improvement. They wanted to take our drinks twice at the beginning, and the same thing happened with our food. Paying also required several requests. We ordered two pizzas. They were delivered at different times. The paper had blown away while we were clearing the table in this weather. We quickly caught it, and the waiter said he'd come right back and get it. After about 10 minutes and a lot of waving, it happened. The waiters were consistently extremely friendly, but there was a lack of structure and communication.

Reservations worked smoothly, even at short notice (1 hour in advance). Service was very friendly. My only criticism: the tables for two are extremely small—it gets really tight with two large pizzas.
