We arrived at 10pm and the waiter warned us that the kitchen would close in 20 minutes, only doing take-away pizza. Too bad that on the internet it said closing time was 11pm. We asked if we could eat them at the tables outside, the waiter told us yes. We ordered takeaway pizzas, we sat at the table outside without cutlery and no service, the waiter who had previously said yes approached us and made us get up. We had to eat the pizzas on the benches in the nearby square. All for 72 euros for 4 pizzas

Ok, in terms of ambience, there may be even nicer L’Osteria - the picture from Prague - but as always, super tasty, quick and cheap!

Worst experience of my life, rude and rude staff! As soon as we arrived they told us that we could only take pizza to go because the kitchen closed after 20 minutes. Once we ordered the pizzas, they gave us the beers in glass glasses, so we asked if we could sit outside and they said yes. We asked to cut the pizzas and they were not cut. Once we sat outside with the pizzas, they made us get up because if the food was "take away" we couldn't eat there. In the end we ate in the small park nearby, with huge uncut pizzas (avoid the pizza with ham because it's not good and they put very little of it) with glass glasses of beer.

My girlfriend and I ordered two pizzas at home. I've eaten at this chain before and never complained. This time we felt sick after eating until the next morning and had diarrhea the next day.

Pizza very large and tasty, a bit thinly topped. Service exceptionally friendly and attentive. You can sit outside without any street noise, I haven't been inside yet. I will come again!

I accidentally reserved for 6 people instead of 7 and in the end there were even 8 of us 😅 At first we were seated at two small tables that had been put together, but when a larger one became available, the nice lady moved us straight away 👌 Overall service was great. Friendly staff, food tasty and affordable. The only negative point: it is incredibly loud, both from the visitors and the staff, so normal conversation is hardly possible 🙈

Yes, it's a chain and yes you know L'Osteria and it's nothing special in that sense, BUT it's always a safe bet if you're looking for something quickly and don't know the area :) The three of us went there spontaneously and were not disappointed. Luckily, we got a place on the terrace on a warm summer evening and the most attentive and nicest waiter, who gave us his personal recommendations despite the stress. Drinks and food came quickly and everything was tasty :) The starter was good (bruschetta and tomato mozzarella salad) and my vegan pizza (made by myself) was also delicious. What's great about L'Osteria is that there's a playground right next to it so parents can eat while the little ones are playing again. Despite the playground, I didn't find it too loud. Thumbs up, we'll be happy to come back!

Food was completely bad. The service was completely overwhelmed and the drink took ages to arrive. It was extreme as there is no air conditioning.

As always, the food tastes very good. Fast friendly service, especially important at lunchtime. No loud disturbing music :) and the ambience is nice too.

Food was okay, unfortunately the service was catastrophically bad. There were three of us there today, there wasn't much going on, the employees preferred to talk behind the bar instead of preparing the drinks for which we had to wait at least 10 minutes. During the entire stay not a single waiter came to ask if we needed anything else. When we wanted to order a dessert and said so, no one was interested and in the end no one came. Not much emphasis is placed on saying goodbye to the guests. Arugula was on the pizza was unwashed and dirty.

Everything was fine. Can recommend the pizzas as you get a pizza that was bigger than the plate.

Waitress snotty, comes to the table and asks why we are giving one star to something that hasn't happened yet. This waitress didn't even serve us, apparently she had. asked for her colleague who didn't dare. Food was served cold when we ordered and we weren't asked what we wanted to drink. Overall a poor store with extremely poor service if given the option to give 0 stars I would do so.

Really a really well run restaurant. Such friendly and courteous service staff. A very clear recommendation for food/service and ambience. Starters are great and the pizza is a smooth 8/10...the dough was a bit too neutral for me and the tomato sauce could have had a bit more kick. The products used on the pizza are really good.....fresh champions, great mozzarella, super good cherry tomatoes, etc... Really great!!!!

L’Osteria at Bauhausplatz is undoubtedly one of the best places in the so-called service desert of Munich. Here you not only experience excellent food quality, but also friendly and attentive service and an unbeatable price-performance ratio. A special thank you goes to Konrad, our charming and funny waiter. It is rare that service staff can brighten up an entire evening with such attentiveness and warmth. It is been years since i last ordered from here since i was always disappointed, yet they never fail to disappoint me again.. order took. 1.5 hours to arrive (on a 3pm Wednesday, so not peak hours) and Pizza was as cold as my ex-gf heart...

Very unfriendly stuff. We waited to be served, after we propose a table and kindly asked if we can be seated there, the answer was ,,That place is just for people with children’’( he then looked around us and ironically laughed and said I don’t look any children around you heh). Very bad for someone who just asked something and maybe its their first time there….

Very unfriendly to children - one child asked a waitress: “When is my food coming?” She replies: “When it’s ready and don’t disturb me while I’m working!”

The vacation should start well. Arrived in Munich on July 14th, 2024, L’Osteria was right around the corner. Perfect. You know them, love them or not. We love her. There were still spaces available outside. Warm day, beautiful ☺️ The service staff was friendly, we ordered drinks and food. After 30 minutes, 2 out of 4 people got their food, drinks weren't there yet. Hmmm, we don't know that. Then the drinks came, OK 35min?! But it's vacation, don't get excited. 2 ate then, it's getting cold. Asked again: Yes, coming soon… Great! Asked again after more than an hour, two people were now finished, the question: What's missing? - still 2 pizzas… they came after another 20 minutes. And a “sorry”. We were served… I'm not a restaurateur, but the following 2 topics are an absolute "no go": 1. Bringing drinks when the food is already there (ok with minimal overlap, but that wasn't the case) 2. Don't serve the food at the same time. And not even an apology drink or a reduction in the bill. We were really disappointed and made this clear to the service staff. Such poor service with a bill of over €80 is steep. I hope that lessons are learned from this. We didn’t know that at L’Osteria until now.

The pizza was big and tasty as usual (apart from the hair on it). Drinks great too. What was less nice was the dirty napkin that moved through the rows in the wind for over half an hour. Several service staff walked past it but had no interest in clearing it away. Then I did that. Overall, the service was not attentive. No changes were made by the court. Everyone at the table received their food at a different time. Forgotten components had to be pointed out several times. Overall very disappointing visit.

Delicious but expensive pizzas. Definitely doable for once!

Food was average and service was very slow considering the restaurant was not busy at the time. Our waitress never gave us a bill as apparently the printer was broken and it wasn't until we got back to the hotel that we realised we'd been charged approx. double what we should have, plus we gave her a decent tip on top. Unfortunately we had an early train to catch the following day so never got this resolved. Be very careful what you pay and don't take things at face value as I doubt this is the first time this waitress has seen a naïve tourist coming.

Well.... Lukewarm food & unfriendly chef. Pre-ordered food online. After I was ignored for about 20 minutes, the chef complained that I had to get the receipt from the front desk. It was neither written anywhere nor was anyone told about it in advance. After I went to get the receipt from the front, I was told to go back to the kitchen - the receipts are brought there every now and then. According to the email and order, pickup time was 9:30 p.m. The result was that I left the branch at 10 p.m. with lukewarm food. Drink was also forgotten. The food was tasty, but the unfriendliness and communication of the chef wasn't great. Staff otherwise friendly.

We ordered a Calzone and Spaghetti Bolognese, they served us very quickly, the food was delicious and they also have a QR code on the table to see your order or pay directly. Very good place, recommended

In L'Osteria on Bauhausplatz you will find a pleasant atmosphere with a playground with a sandpit for small children. The service is good but it took a while until you got it after you asked, for example parmesan that didn't come at all or the bill, about 15 minutes. The food was very tasty with the starter and main course leaving you really full. The drinks selection is simple but very well prepared. In summary, a visit is definitely worth it, since the restaurant is not adjacent to any streets, you can have peace and quiet and enjoy your food and the ambience.

We ordered 2 pizzas, one cezar and one prosciutto, and 2 beers. Beers came about 15 minutes after pizza, waiter forgot to bring them. Cezar pizza was ok, salad didnt witter a lot so it didnt wait for long to be brought but there was barely any meat on it. They forgot to cut it so i had trouble cutting it because plates were too small. Prosciutto pizza was terrible, it was basically a margharitta, so tomato sauce and cheese, with 6 pieces of schinken, not prosciutto. All in all, food was definitely not worth the price, and staff wasnt doing good job. I will never again return there.

We ate here after a long day at the festival and it was just great. The service was outstanding, something you rarely find or often look for in vain. As always, the ambience is very nice and pleasant for my taste and the food is also very good considering that it is a chain. A clear recommendation for us and we would go there again at any time.

As with all of the chain's restaurants, the food was good and OK. Only the service was disorganized. Our drinks only came after an annoyed demand. We ordered a Coke and a Redbull - there isn't much effort involved with this order. Things became more questionable when we were served starter and main course at the same time. When we asked what the point was in bringing the starter and the hot dish at the same time, the waiter had no answer and offered us a coffee on the house. We didn't have the nerve to ask further. So we ate our pasta and enjoyed our starter for dessert. When I go to a restaurant, I expect you to know the basics. But they didn't respond to us any further and ignored the whole matter.

The food is good but we are charged directly by 10% tips without being informed. They put the tips first and then give me the machine to pay… our company came here to eat like every week. We won’t go there again… I believe it is illegal…we only realize it when we saw the bill…

Italian restaurant with big and delicious pizzas and pasta. Antipasti recommended like starter plate. Gamberini pasta was delicious and many options of pizza.

The pizza from the three of us was great, but the service was mediocre. We had to actively ask about everything. The decor is very nice and stylish. Since the restaurant is very large and it was full, the coziness was a bit compromised. For me, a restaurant to eat quickly and leave. I think that’s also the concept of L’Osteria.

Very loud, sitting “comfortably” at an Italian restaurant is something else… Pizza huge, but very tasty, thin, crispy dough 👍 Despite the hectic pace and the well-filled restaurant, the service was very nice, courteous and competent. We'll be back when the weather is nice, when you can sit outside, it's definitely more comfortable.

Today was 3:45 p.m., order 3:55 p.m. eat comb 5:05 p.m. Pizza Salami I think was baked for 5 minutes. This is our first visit and LAST😡😱🤮

Today we visited the pizzeria L’Osteria for lunch. Our meeting point was at 3:00 p.m. and the pizzeria was moderately busy, with about 35% of the tables occupied. We were four adults and two children. Our seat was assigned to us quickly, and the order and drinks were quickly taken and served. We ordered three pizzas, a small children's pizza, carpaccio and drinks. After about half an hour we asked about our food for the first time. We were kindly told that things were a bit chaotic today and that we should be patient. After about 45 minutes we asked again and were politely put off again. After another 20 minutes and a conversation with the management of the house they said that the pizzas were in the oven and it would take about another five minutes. Ultimately the pizzas arrived after another 15 minutes, which meant a total wait of about an hour and a half. Luckily, the carpaccio was delivered on time and saved the six of us from the hour and a half wait. Unfortunately, the pizzas did not meet the expectations you would expect from a L’Osteria. They were apparently taken out of the oven too early, presumably to compensate for the long wait. The management tried to defuse the situation and, after a lengthy conversation, offered to reduce the bill except for the carpaccio. We were not charged for the pizzas and drinks. However, we felt disappointed and wished the problem had been noticed and resolved sooner. The situation was particularly disappointing in two senses, as my parents wanted to invite us to this L’Osteria after they had told us enthusiastically about the restaurant. It was our first visit there and the impression was unfortunately very negative. Conclusion: The service and quality of the food in the Pizzeria L’Osteria today left a lot to be desired. The long waiting time and the disappointing quality of the pizzas marred the otherwise pleasant atmosphere. We hope this was a one-time blip and the pizzeria can improve its operations. After all, we were always served and put off in a friendly and polite manner.

Unfortunately, when we came today, kitchen staff experienced some problems, so we had to wait for around 40 mins to get our order. To make up for it, we’ve got coffee on a house, which was a nice gesture. Other than that issue, service was quite good here :)

This was the second time that an order placed over the phone did not arrive in the kitchen and a new order had to be made on site. Then after 15 minutes of waiting, the dessert we ordered and paid for was not available. Pizza was tasty.

Five of us had a reservation in the restaurant in the evening during the week. All the tables inside were occupied, but there were still places available outside. The service was very friendly and quick, the food was fresh and tasty. The pizzas are huge! The decoration is very tasteful. There is a small star deduction for the volume of the music. This caused the noise level throughout the restaurant to rise. But you can't blame the operator for the fact that the guests have a lively conversation. We all really enjoyed it.

Pre-ordering from L'Osteria initially seemed like a convenient option, but the unclear instructions to collect the receipt yourself at the checkout - where there were no employees - led to unnecessary delays and confusion. The expectation of quick and efficient processing was disappointed as the pizza creation could only begin after the pizza maker had returned with receipt. This process seemed inefficient and frustrating, which significantly impacted service. Instead of picking up the pizza at 2:30 p.m., the preparation only started then.
