Pizza are very good, one of the best in the area. Also they have good prices. Very few tables, but it is like you are sitting in a museum if you can sit inside.

I had the tastiest pizza I've had in a long time. The pizzas are still baked in a stone oven with real fire. The restaurant is very quaint and lovingly decorated. The prices are reasonable. What more could you want... :) On Halloween, there's a great special for the littlest monsters. You shouldn't miss it.

Cool concept and delicious pizza and pasta.

Italian pizzeria (not so common these days). Museum-worthy interior with household appliances from decades past. An old Italian car from the 1950s sits in the courtyard, drivable according to the owner, and a vintage Ducato sits outside. They also serve good lasagna and apple wine. Like many suburban restaurants, they're closed for lunch on Sundays from 2 p.m.

Outdoor tables and chairs don't fit together due to the seat height, making the seating uncomfortable and too close together. In general, the outdoor area needs to be spruced up.

We discovered this pizzeria through Google Maps. Reservations aren't possible, but we went anyway. When we arrived, we were a little surprised by the snack-like atmosphere, but we sat down anyway. The prices are generally fair, but the staff is incredibly unfriendly. They told us the wait would be more than 50 minutes, and card payments aren't accepted. There are plenty of other restaurants for such poor service. Small update: The defiant reaction and, above all, the lack of attention to some issues shows that a sore spot has been hit. No employee came to our table that evening. And to talk about a pleasant atmosphere while simultaneously selling water from plastic bottles is ultimately contradictory.

We've been a regular customer for over eight years now. What can I say? Always fresh, delicious, and just as it should be! If you love pizza, this is definitely the place for you, and the pasta and salads are also delicious. The only thing that could be a little better is the friendliness of the staff. Sometimes you feel like you're more of an inconvenience than a welcome, paying customer.

A really nice little pizzeria. The pizza is absolutely delicious, and the pasta dishes are also good. Since it's a bit of a drive from us, we don't go there very often anymore, but I think it's great that everything is still the same as it was: the same owners, albeit now their son, the same menu, etc. I had my first date with my now husband here 38 years ago. So, I also have an emotional connection to this pizzeria.

Tucked away in the quiet Ober-Erlenbach district, just outside of Bad Homburg's city center, lies this little gem that, for me, is much more than just a restaurant. The atmosphere is familiar and warm, the team always friendly and attentive. You're not just served – you're welcomed. That's exactly what makes the difference for me. The stone-baked pizzas are sensational – crispy, flavorful, made with high-quality ingredients and lots of love. And all at prices that are absolutely fair and customer-friendly – ​​the value for money here is just right all around. For me, this place holds many fond memories. I love coming back again and again – and I wholeheartedly recommend it. It's great that you exist!

A very good pizza for the region, but generally just good. No-go: olives with stones; I almost broke my tooth twice. Also a shame: the cheese selection significantly degrades the otherwise excellent base of dough and oven; the mediocre tomato sauce is easily forgivable. But don't be too critical; with one exception, you won't find a better pizza in the region, in my opinion. The price-performance ratio, in particular, is absolutely fair. Without the stones, 4/5

I've never experienced anything like that in my life. I was threatened with a beating after I asked how long my pizza would take. Everyone has tense situations and stress at times, but this was the crowning achievement!

Absolutely great location with a rustic collection of antique decorative objects. But most importantly, pizza and all other dishes are so delicious that your mouth will water. The pizza from the wood-fired oven has a sensational dough with delicious toppings. The complete package is just right here.

Nice little pizzeria with a delicious pizza. The dough was good, I wish the topping was a little better. I didn't like the salami and ham that much. But that's a matter of taste and another person might find it really tasty. All in all, a great way to eat pizza without any fuss or taste. Reminiscent of the takeaway pizzerias of the 80s and 90s. I'll definitely go back and try a different surface. 😉

My family and I have been coming to da Guido for dinner for many years and we love this pizzeria like we did on the first day. Fantastic food and a great team at the start and all at really fair prices. Dessert doesn't have to be hidden either, we love the zabaglione! Big thanks to the Da Guido team!

Unfortunately, the owner is becoming more and more unfriendly and arrogant - even though the pizzeria is empty! Service and hospitality looks different - even in Italy.

So after a long, hard day at work, I really wanted my favorite meal. I was very disappointed so with an Italian salad for 9 € I can expect more than that, after all the eye is usually satisfied and the taste is to be returned. No or hardly any dressing and more onion than anything else and the pizza wasn't what I hoped it would be. Unfortunately the quality wasn't what I'm used to.

We've been there several times, the food is really good, it tastes like Italy. Ambiance is very interesting and creates great atmosphere. The self service is also acceptable but the people are you can't say rude but definitely not polite. They should be more personable and be happy that the customers came. I recommend removing all the strange arrangements like the one about Corona or only take the cutlery you need, sorry, we are adults and don't take 5 forks for one person

The pizza is really good specially the number 11 (pepperoni, garlic and paprika). But did not like the special pizza (Artichoke and veg) one. It was too soggy and tasted kind of bad.

The pizza was delicious, but unfortunately the outside area is very neglected. It would be urgently necessary to clean thoroughly and replace one or two pieces of furniture (e.g. the sagging chairs). Next time I'd rather just pick up a pizza here 🤷🏼‍♀️.

I called this evening and wanted to order, unfortunately my guests confused the menu with the restaurant, so I was shouted at on the phone and condemned for mixing up the menu. Well, that could have been said more politely. It is clear to us that we will no longer order there. Given the hectic pace of business, you won't find any friendliness here, both on site and when placing orders. Unfortunately, as some have described before, the pizza is mediocre and most people only have the option of going to the local pizzeria. Where else like in Seulberg you can get a higher quality pizza or in the city center HG at the same prices. If you can, you should take the 10 minute drive and maybe look for a good pizza there.

Love this place, chilling, great atmosphere and the food is awesome, the Pizza is a must! The prices are cheap, because of the self service. Been there now always, when I am in Germany, a must go, love the place and the food!

It is by far the best pizza in the area and I have eaten pizzas everywhere. I'm happy to take a 30km detour for this. The tasty pizzas are only surpassed by the friendliness of the staff. The rustic interior of the restaurant also invites you to linger in a cozy atmosphere.

We ordered the tortellini alla panna twice to pick up, they weren't in any sauce but rather to be eaten as a soup. We don't live within walking distance of more than 3 minutes, so this can't be due to the sweat, we had to pick it up I even had to wait a moment until the portions were ready. The portion is quite small compared to other pizzerias, the price is too expensive, I think these are discount products, the tortellini are very close to those from Aldi. It doesn't matter whether it's a discounter or not, in our opinion it wasn't everything. 9€ for what felt like 9 tortellini, we didn't count, but we had to look for the tortellini. We expected more in terms of taste. The pizza bread with it was ok. The atmosphere is very chic. Seating difficult at certain times. If something is going on and you have to wait outside on the sidewalk, it can be quite unpleasant because the sidewalk is quite narrow and other pedestrians (or even yourself) have to push their way through the people.

Yesterday we spontaneously wanted to try out a new pizzeria. The photos and the many positive reviews made us believe that we wouldn't make a bad decision. We were wrong! There was no friendliness from the staff and the pizza was really inedible. Maybe the many good reviews come from residents who have no other option in Ober Erlenbach. The only positive thing is the ambience and decor of the store.

Went there for dinner for the first time yesterday with two dear friends. We came in and were positively overwhelmed by the decoration. Incredibly beautiful old things could be admired. Now to the food: portions, I had tagliatelle with salmon, my wife had tagliatelle with shrimp cream sauce and Bolognese (sounds strange) could be larger but they were very tasty. Staff very very friendly. All in all a very nice evening

We have been getting food there for years and are mostly satisfied. I still have to deduct one star. Prices have increased, which is completely understandable. However, I have the impression that the portions have also become a little smaller! For 8-10 euros of pasta I would like to be really full. But we will continue to get food there, sometimes we order an extra pizza depending on our appetite. The people are always nice. I've never eaten in a restaurant because I find it terribly cramped and uncomfortable. But it doesn't matter, just picking it up is enough for us.

Nach langer Zeit habe ich mal wieder die Pizzeria Da Guido in Ober-Erlenbach besucht und war hier im Dezember mit einem Freund zum Mittagessen. Zum Ambiente bzw. der Inneneinrichtung muss man nicht viel sagen, da hat sich in den letzten 30 Jahren nichts verändert. Nennen wir diesen Stil mal urig. Tatsächlich unangenehm war, einige andere Rezensenten hatten es bereits geschrieben, die quasi nicht vorhandene Temperatur. Ich bin wirklich weit davon entfernt, dass ich leicht friere, aber das war schon durchaus unangenehm und ich war froh, als ich nach dem Essen im Auto die Heizung aufdrehen konnte. Die anderen Gäste saßen größtenteils in Jacken am Tisch. Abschließend noch zum wichtigsten Teil, dem Essen: die Pizza war gut, nicht überragend, aber gut. In meinen Erinnerungen war sie früher einen Tick besser, aber vielleicht waren meine Geschmacksnerven auch nur auf Grund der vorherrschenden Temperaturen leicht blockiert. Der „Service“, es ist ja nach wie vor Selbstbediendung angesagt, war ok. Ich behaupte mal, dass ich schon in vielen italienischen Restaurants und Pizzerien gewesen bin, in denen es doch etwas herzlicher zuging. So reicht es dann am Ende doch leider nur für eine befriedigende Bewertung. Denke mal der nächste Besuch wird dann eher in der warmen Jahreszeit stattfinden oder es gibt gleich eine Pizza to go.

Finalmente una pizza italiana in Germania (o per lo meno nei dintorni di Francoforte)! Cibo ottimo e la migliore pizza mai mangiata. La pizza caprese finalmente con la vera mozzarella, sembra un sogno! Per i puristi del cibo italiano: siamo sempre in Germania quindi panna e formaggio da battaglia la fanno comunque da padroni, ma il livello è decisamente elevato e a prezzi ottimi. Per quanto riguarda il locale e il servizio, ci troviamo di fronte a qualcosa di unico per come è stato pensato: piccolo spazio con pochi tavoli. Apertura alle 17.30 e se non sei già lì all'apertura, facile che non trovi posto anche perché non accettano prenotazioni. La fortuna è che i tedeschi, quando mangiano, non si perdono in chiacchere, quindi c'è un elevato "turn over" di tavoli. Ordini direttamente al banco, ti prendi il vino, i bicchieri e le posate. Quando chiamano il tuo piatto, vai a prendertelo direttamente al banco e quando hai finito, sparecchi e riporti tutto sempre al banco. Geniale! Però non so quante stelle mettere alla voce "servizio" perché di fatto non c'è. Attenzione: non abbiamo provato il ristorante ma solo la "casa di Guido" ovvero la pizzeria che fa anche asporto. Da tornarci!

Einfach die qualitativ beste Pizza, Nudeln und andere italienische "gewöhnlichkeiten". Wobei hier klassisch italienisch im wundervollsten Sinne des Wortes gemeint ist. Unikates Ambiente und über Jahrzehnte gleiche Qualität. Für jeden zu empfehlen, der excellenzes, bodenständiges italienisches Essen genießt. Wer fancy, modern und excentrisch sucht, solle lieber wo anderst suchen und den tollen Charme geniessern überlassen.

Nicht empfehlenswert - wer es gerne „vollgerümpelt“, staubig mag und zudem auch noch zweitklassiges Essen mag, sollte hier hingehen. Die Atmosphäre ist erdrückend - für das Essen lohnt es sich nicht, nochmal dorthin zu gehen.

Die Steinofen pizzen schmecken sehr gut, wenn man auf Abholung bestellt ist das eine sehr gute Pizzaria. Aber zum dort vor Ort zu essen hat mir nicht so gefallen es ist alles Selbstbedienung und das Ambiente muss einem gefallen.

Wie immer lekkere und schmackhafte Pizzen, Preis / Leistung gut, ggf. für draußen 2-3 Ventilatoren anbringen. Sonst tadellos.

Selbstbedienung ist angesagt. Leckeres Essen, man braucht sich über keine Bedienung zu ärgern , denn man holt sich alles selbst. Urige Trödeleinrichtung. Einfach mal anders aber gut und zu fairen Preisen👍
