It was a wonderful evening with friends. Greetings from the kitchen were very tasty, starters and main courses were well portioned. Very attentive service. Was very tasty. Repeat will definitely happen!

I don't normally eat Italian when outside of Italy but the restaurant was highly recommended to me by several people and I am happy to have had the experience of spending a nice evening at Luisenkeller by Angelo. It is truly a beautiful environment, welcoming in decor and service. The waiters were attentive and the waiter Maurizio recommended a perfect dish for my way of eating. Angelo is a fantastic chef and it was nice to meet him when he came out of the kitchen to go around and say hello to some customers. Certainly the next times I'm nearby, I'll go again to dine in this "home" atmosphere.

I was a guest there with my colleagues on January 21st, 2025. The service was very friendly and on the ball, the food was of excellent quality. A huge compliment to the kitchen. The mixed anti pasti starter was plentiful and the dishes were very tasty. I had winter cod that was cooked to perfection. It was a pleasure. The price is attractive, but justified. You won't be disappointed.

I have been a guest at the Louisenkeller for decades and enjoy going there. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio has become somewhat out of control in recent years. The prices are very high, in my opinion, and there is next to nothing for a smaller wallet or for people who just want to have a bite to eat without ending up with over 60 euros. The service is excellent, super attentive and the food is also very good. But just very expensive!

Small Italian with friendly service and the owner/chef cooking. Italian and some German dishes, good portions, cozy winebar, Eintracht Soccer Fans, out side in the summer. The restaurant is in a basement, and small dogs are accepted.

Wir waren seit sehr langer Zeit mal wieder mit Freunden im Louisenkeller. Wir hatten verschiedene Gerichte, über Salat, Fleisch,Fisch und Pasta war alles dabei. Allen hat das Essen hervorragend geschmeckt. Zum Dessert hatten wir uns für Apfelpfannkuchen (ein Gedicht – nicht das, was man von zu Hause kennt) und Zabaione entschieden - beides ein Traum. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

My wife and I went here for dinner with our two children. We sat outside and enjoyed the delicious food - with very friendly but unobtrusive service. First of all there was burrata and bruschetta, my wife and I had the 1/2 lobster with tagliatelle. The children had pasta. The dishes were all prepared with a lot of love and also very tasty. The dessert with ice cream and chocolate cake was also delicious. We were also impressed by the wine list. If you are traveling in Bad Homburg and want to eat well and not run of the mill, you should come to Da Angelo. There were also some Italians there, which speaks for the traditional and authentic cuisine :-)

Ein sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant mit hervorragendem Essen. Das Personal ist auf Zack und überaus freundlich. Eine klare Empfehlung meinerseits.

Sehr urig und gemütlich. Da frisch gekocht wird, dauert es bis zum Servieren etwas länger. Aber das Warten rentiert sich sehr. Zwischenzeitlich kann man die leckeren Weine durchprobieren. Preislich ist es etwas gehoben; allerdings schmeckt es auch hervorragend. Sehr zu empfehlen und wir kommen wieder! Danke für den netten Abend 👍🏻.

Nach einer ersten 5-Sterne-Rezension im Sommer 22 waren wir Mitte November voller Vorfreude auf ein ähnlich geniales Essen wie im Sommer wieder im Louisenkeller. Dieses Mal wurde es ein Desaster, eigentlich nur ein Stern, das nicht nur mit Personalmangel erklärt werden kann. Nicht ausreichend angebratenes und ungewürztes Kalbsbries ohne die auf der Speisekarte stehende Steinpilzcreme (oder war es Trüffelcreme?), einfach schlecht gemacht, die Tagliata lauwarm und zäh mit Flachsen auf miserablem Ruccola ohne Dressing nur mit trockenen breiten Parmesanspänen garniert. Wir hatten praktisch keine Gelegenheit darüber mit dem Service oder dem Chef zu sprechen, alle waren überfordert. Einzig das Dessert überzeugte. Es war kein billiger Abend und wir überlegen uns seither, ob wir noch mal beim Angelo ins Risiko gehen sollen. Aktuell wollen wir das eher nicht. Vielleicht im Sommer werktags, wenn man wieder draussen sitzen kann. Schaun mer mal.

Der Besitzer scheint eine Leidenschaft für Eintracht Frankfurt zu haben, was sich in dem überdimensionalen Logo am Eingang manifestiert. Herrlich. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis bei äußerst angenehmen Service. Die Einrichtung schwankt zwischen Retro und gemütlich italienisch.

Bestes Garnelengericht in Bad Homburg. Inhaber kocht selbst. Gutes Gourmetniveau. Gute weinauswahl. Drinnen eine Mischung aus Ambiente zum Entspannen und Barfeeling im Eingangsbereich. Wenige Sitzplätze outdor.

Waren schon immer vor Ort von der großartigen Küche und dem netten Service begeistert. Nun auch zum ersten Mal zu Hause perfekter Genuss. Das Essen ist heiß, sehr ansprechend angerichtet und Liegerung kam pünktlich auf die Minute. TOP! Gerne wieder!

Sehr tolles Essen mit kleinen Appetizern zu Beginn und einer echt ansprechenden Speisekarte. De Lachs mit Rösti aber auch das 1/2kg Gambi --> sehr zu empfehlen

Vorspeise war sehr lecker, Service könnte freundlicher sein....

Ohne eine Empfehlung wäre ich wahrscheinlich nicht zum Essen in den Keller gegangen oder hätte das Lokal gar nicht erst gefunden. Gutes Essen, gute Weinbegleitung und freundlicher aufmerksamer Service.
