Pizzeria Clemente in Düsseldorf

This is, by far, the best pizza in Dusseldorf. I'm so happy to have found it. We live in the city center, so we pick it up whenever we are in Kaiserswerth. They have nice tables to eat at, but unfortunately, it's outdoor only.

I came here on a recommendation – I love Neapolitan pizza and like trying new spots. You can't really call this a restaurant, but there are some seating options, and the take-out business seems to be doing very well. I opted for the Positano pizza, and it was absolutely fantastic! The fluffy, crispy crust, nice and bubbly, and the tuna (which isn't cooked here), the olives, and the caramelized onions were all super delicious. I only managed half; the rest was packed up without any problems and still tasted excellent the next day. Considering the quality of the products, I think the price is also reasonable. Would I drive to Kaiserswerth again just for this? Maybe not necessarily. But if you're nearby, Pizzeria Clemente is highly recommended.

Here you can get "pizza to go," or you can sit between the street and the tram tracks. But that's not the deciding factor for me. I have to admit, I'm always annoyed that there's no printed or online menu. If someone goes out and buys for others to eat at home, the menu at the stand is different from the one someone posted online via photo. Consequently, I never get what I actually want. I just had a pizza with six cheeses. It's generally really delicious, but: I hate it when they pour honey over it, and I don't understand why there always has to be cold buffalo mozzarella in the middle (otherwise, please indicate accordingly). It's soggy, it waters down the base, and if you eat with a knife and fork, you don't know whether you're eating the pizza box or the pizza. There's still a hell of a lot of room for improvement, especially for the not-so-low price. And cash only... I'd rather not write any more here.

Hey, there's definitely the best pizza in the entire city of Düsseldorf here. Sensationally unique, it's a real taste bomb when you eat it. You have to search for a long time to find anything comparable and with Nino you have the best restaurateur you can imagine. He beats even his best Italian colleagues by far. If you like pizza, you won't find a better one anywhere.

The taste has continued to deteriorate since it opened. In addition, a waiting time of 20 minutes is promised, but the actual waiting time is 50 minutes. When asked about this you are called a liar. Impudence!

Great, delicious pizza at a good price. The seating is okay, but it's a bit of a gamble whether you'll get a seat with so few seats and sitting right on the street, you have to like that too. Unfortunately, the tables are too narrow so you can't sit opposite each other if, for example, you're both eating a pizza, but there are still four chairs per table. I always find it quite unhygienic when cutlery is left out in the open. Unfortunately, we all know those people who have to fiddle with everything with their fingers. A fork that I pulled out was also completely smeared. I was really disgusted for a moment. I would think it would be nicer if you were given the cutlery when you ordered. We would still come back because it tasted so good. We would still be happy about small changes.

Had the Clemente Schickimicki platter for 2 people today... Instead of the 4 types of cheese and sausage listed on the menu, we only got 1 cheese and 2 types of sausage ‼️😕 When I subsequently complained and asked, I received the extremely unfriendly and rude comment: "I have no idea why that would be the case." I find this kind of behavior to be a joke ‼️😕 We won't be visiting this location again!!

I am surprised that Clementi pizza is rated only 4.9 stars 🤪 By far the best pizza outside Italy (and maybe mane places there). The 72h dough and the Italien ingredients is making the difference.

The Pizzeria Clemente is located opposite the Berliner Imbiss directly on Arnheimer Straße. It is designed in a takeaway style, but offers a few non-reservable high tables along the street. The pizza is priced at the top end and has a visually appealing topping. However, the dough fell short in appearance, while the sauce and toppings were even disappointing. However, the service is quick and friendly and told a good story about the owner's recipe secrets, which, coupled with the typical Italian charm, seems to still catch the attention of the usual customer. Unfortunately, there is no alternative to Roma on Klemensplatz, which is a shame because Kaiserswerth is desperately lacking another good pizzeria.

The taste is actually ok, but the consistency is more like a pancake. The pizza is far too thin in the middle so the toppings unfortunately run down. The edge is much too thick. It also looks very burnt in the middle.

18 € pizza carelessly thrown away. Tuna tastes good for the price but you can expect more. Tuna was placed as a brick on the pizza You sit for 30 minutes in which time 20 pizzas come out and you wait in vain for guests at the next table to play the same game. This store is made for walk-in customers only

Basically, the majority of reviewers agree that the pizza is really good. However, the initial euphoria is now waning. I ordered the Parma Emilia very often. In almost all of my orders, the middle part of the pizza was topped with rocket, tomatoes and olives tossed in balsamic vinegar. The olives have since disappeared and when you ask, they insist that there were never olives on this pizza. When I asked again yesterday, they aggressively "threw" olives at both pizzas and told me that it cost €3. When asked, this was aggressively confirmed again. I put down the €3 and made it clear that I definitely wouldn't be coming back. One of the gentlemen behind the counter tried to hand me the €3 back "incongnito", which was really unbelievable, instead of making it clear to his colleague how pathetic his behavior was. A real shame.

Zweifelsfrei eine wirklich für deutsche Verhältnisse außergewöhnliche Pizza, die man hier bekommt. In Süditalien gibt es so etwas öfter, aber auch keinesfalls an jeder Straßenecke. Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Düsseldorf freue ich mich schon wieder auf dieses schöne Geschmackserlebnis!

Sehr Leckere Pizza und super Service.Große Auswahl an Pizzen und Getränken

Sehr leckerere Pizza mit schöner neapolitanischer Art.

Auf den ersten Blick im Netz ein sehr gutes "Restaurant" mit einer sensationellen und außergewöhnlichen Pizzaauswahl. Hatte noch nie Pizza Bianci, also weiße Pizza. Diese wurden Stadt mit der allseits bekannten Tomatensauce mit einer "Parmesancreme" serviert. Lt der Speisekarte im Netz gab es auch eine sehr große Auswahl an Belagvarianten. Auch diese sehr ungewöhnlich. Die klassischen Beläge (Tuhnfisch, Salami, Schinken usw.) gab es zwar, aber wiederum in Kommbination mit außergewöhnlichen Zutaten. So gab es die Thunfischpizza also nicht, wie gewohnt mit rohen Zwiebeln sondern mit "karamellisierten" Zwiebeln - himmlisch. Leider stellte sich aber heraus, dass es kein "Restaurant" im schönen Klemensviertel in Kaiserswerth war, sondern lediglich ein Pizzastand am Bahnhof Klemensplatz in Kaiserswerth. Es gibt lediglich 4 Stehtische mit Barhockern. Jeder Tisch hat seinen eigenen Heizpilz dicke Kissen und dicke Wolldecken. Leider wurde bei meinem Anruf am Vormittag um einen Tisch für den Abend zu reservieren fie Tatsache fass Es kein Restaurant war und nur draußen gegessen werden kann, mit keinem Wort erwähnt. Erst als ich nochmals anrief um zu informieren, dass wir uns verspätet werden, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass es sich nicht um ein klassisches Restaurant handelt. Nicht desto trotz hat es sich auf jeden Fall extrem gelohnt trotz der Tatsache, daß es Mitte Dezember und nasskalt war, dort zu essen. FAZIT: Auf jeden Fall probieren, schon weil der Teig sage und schreibe 72 Stunden reift, ist dieser kleine Pizza-Imbis einen Stop wert. Wäre zu hoffen, dass es irgendwann mal ein richtiges Restaurant geben wird.

Eine winzige Pizzeria die gigantische Pizza macht - gigantisch lecker. Napolitanische Pizza mit leckerem hohen Rand. Tolle Auswahl an verschiedenen Belägen. Aber schon die einfache Margarita ist eine Geschmacksbombe. Tolles und nettes Team! Bin oft hier und werde immer herzlich empfangen. Kann Pizzeria Clemente unbedingt empfehlen!

Noch eine Pizzeria in Kaiserswerth! Braucht man die? Ja, braucht man! Neapolitanische Pizza, wie ich nach 5 Minuten durch ein nettes Gespräch mit dem Pizzabäcker erfahren habe. Teigruhe von 72 Stunden, dicker, fluffiger Rand. Er hat mir so enthusiastisch davon erzählt, dass musste ich probieren. Und dann sah ich das luftige Foccachia (?) im Ofen. Auf Nachfrage wurde es bejaht und ich bekam ungefragt eine Kostprobe. Ein Gedicht! Inzwischen war ich drei mal dort (innerhalb von 2 Wochen). Die ganze Familie ist begeistert und die Personen dort sind so freundlich und herzlich, dass ich alleine deswegen gerne hingehe. Also: wenn ihr mal eine ganz besondere Pizza probieren möchtet, dann nichts wie hin! Keine 08/15 Pizza, keine eklige Pizza aus der Form (womöglich mit Maismehl), sondern fluffige, frische Pizza mit frischen Zutaten. Und dann noch Buffalo-Mozzarella mit selbst gemachten Pesto obendrauf, eine Wucht! Gesessen habe ich dort noch nicht (Abholung, mit einem Warte-Peroni). Es liegt halt an der Straße, aber die Gäste dort genießen es augenscheinlich. Und das Ambiente erinnert mich an meine Italien-Urlaube. Eine dicke Empfehlung von mir für das Clemente!!
