A traditional establishment with good food and friendly staff. Helpful and courteous.

We had reserved and received confirmation for tables for 30 people. Four weeks before the planned celebration, we were cancelled due to renovations. Sorry, but they could have known that earlier. We are very disappointed and now have to find an alternative at short notice, as many guests are traveling from afar.

Delicious pizza, excellent service. A special mention goes to the waiter Salvo, who surprised and welcomed us with a brilliant magic trick.

We went here for dinner with our entire company (BabyOne) and had a really lovely evening! The food was delicious, and the drinks arrived super fast. The food itself took a little longer, but it was fresh and tasted fantastic. Unfortunately, two dishes were initially forgotten and weren't quite hot when they arrived – but the staff were very friendly, cheerful, and tried their best. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. Overall, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal – we'll definitely be back!

After a long journey, we had lunch, and what can I say... IT WAS GREAT! We had a pizza spinaci and a pizza frutti di mare. Both were perfect with a thin, crispy crust. The wait wasn't long, and the service was attentive and polite. So, I can't help but recommend Ca' del Re.

We went there yesterday after work around 8:00 p.m. The welcome was very friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really great. I ordered classic spaghetti carbonara, and my husband ordered steak. Unfortunately, the spaghetti carbonara was very, very salty. Since I was actually hungry, I could only eat half the portion, even though they didn't serve as much as I do in Italy. I couldn't taste the guanciale or egg at all, and I didn't see any pepper or Parmesan cheese—just spaghetti and a lot of oversalted bacon. On the way home, I was so thirsty that I had to drink at least 2 liters of water. Unfortunately, it left a bad aftertaste. My husband's dish was good. We finished with an appetizer and espresso. The dish spaghetti carbonara is so simple and delicious that almost every Italian should be able to make it. I hope so for you.

Dining, as it should be. Rather unassuming on the outside, but a solid A+ inside. The service is absolutely attentive and courteous, and the food is noticeably freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Everything done right 😊

We stumbled upon this lovely restaurant by chance as we were returning to the parking lot from the trade fair. The reviews convinced us, and we weren't disappointed. The food is exceptionally delicious, the service super friendly, and the ambiance truly lovely. At the end, we were pleasantly surprised by the bill for three people; the value for money is very important here. We were so impressed by the restaurant that we went back the very next day. Highly recommended!

Switching to a random service team isn't good for the restaurant. I was handed the menu while I was standing there taking off my jacket. The service was unnecessarily pushy, even though the place was half empty. The food was worse than usual. In short: Ca del Re has lost its soul, which is a real shame. We used to be regulars, but we won't be coming back. What an incredible shame.

So, we got off the plane from Hurghada, Egypt, completely starving, and checked into the Lindner Hotel. The car was parked there, and we walked about 500 meters here. We searched on Google for an Italian restaurant and reading the reviews we decided to go but not because of the reviews but because we wanted to eat something Italian even in Düsseldorf. The pizza looked terrible, but tasted amazing – crispy, flavorful, authentic. At the end, we were treated to a really good, homemade schnapps on the house. Great "little" Italian restaurant in DE

I went here with a colleague for dinner, since we were in the area. I usually avoid eating Italian food abroad, because I always fear disappointment. Luckily it wasn't like that! Super friendly staff, especially Samuel who was the waiter who looked after us the most during dinner. Food that brought me back to Italy for the whole dinner, especially the tiramisu (I didn't have time to take a photo, it was too good). I will definitely be back!

We were able to get a table here during our weekend visit. The food was okay, the waiters attentive. Unfortunately it had the feeling of a train station hall. It was very loud and hectic. Entertaining with two people was almost impossible. For everyone who appreciates a cozy evening with good entertainment. Looking for an alternative.

It's very pleasant here during the week and I would immediately give it 5 stars. It's crowded and loud on weekends. The food is of high quality, unfortunately I don't like pizza that is only served shortly before the end of the baking time. If you like that, you can give it 5 stars.

We often come in groups of 6-8 people but there has never been anything like today. Waited almost 2 hours for food. One person specially orders a thin pizza, the pizza comes with a thick crust. Complained, the pizza came back after 5 minutes, this time with a burnt edge. Everyone else had already finished eating. As the waiter was clearing up, people asked if the rest of the burnt pizza should be packed up to take away. We were speechless. The other guy drank rose all evening and suddenly got a red wine. There really was a worm in there today. After a little discussion, the pizza wasn't charged for, but overall it was really awesome today. Absolutely not the quality of service we are used to. And there was no apology for the long wait for the food and no accommodation in the price. Very, very unfortunate and sad.

As always, a lovely evening with great food and great service! Gladly again.

Followed by an outstanding main course - and finally a Zabaglione show like we've never experienced before. For this reason, we were very happy to be able to eat with you again during our next stay in Düsseldorf. Unfortunately, our visit was a huge disappointment. There were ten of us and we had been waiting for our food for over an hour. We were forgotten: (It was only after asking several times that our food was served after another 20 minutes. Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes was far below our expectations: the pizzas were overloaded with cheese and partially burned. Since we were all under time pressure, we paid the bill without further checking. We noticed afterwards that we were charged three times for "Saltimbocca Romana" at €19 each, even though we had only ordered a simple salad for €7.

The food was really good, had spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel with black truffle. The loaf was brought to the table and the noodles were tossed with a splash of pasta water.
