Ca' del Re in Düsseldorf

I was there on a Sunday evening, 2 weeks ago. The terrace was completely full and a good 2/3 of all seats in the restaurant were occupied. The waiters were overwhelmed because it was probably rush hour. I waited almost an hour for my Pasta Frutti di Mare. Then I took her with me. It tasted very good and I'm not mad either. I come from the catering industry myself and know exactly how you feel as an employee in such situations. I would be happy to have a second chance again soon. Kind regards, Marcel

Unfortunately I had a very unpleasant encounter there this evening. Ordered food and something to drink. Well first of all we were served very late. After dinner I wanted something to drink. But then we got the bill without a word and were allowed to leave the restaurant. So child-friendly is something different... once and never again. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Whether pizza, monkfish, baby calamari or T-bone steak, everything was great, super tasty, the service was very friendly, although one star was deducted because a waiter occasionally forgot drinks, but we'll be back, for sure!!!! !

Yesterday we spontaneously visited the restaurant and were given a seat on the terrace, which unfortunately faces the street. The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. I was disappointed with the food, but the mixed starter plate still convinced me. The two main courses, lasagne, with a little minced meat, cooked ham and a lot of cheese. The tagliatelle tartufo were a good portion, the truffle was freshly shaved at the table, the sauce had a strange consistency and unfortunately the taste didn't meet my expectations. Next time I'd rather just have a pizza.

The pizzas were really good, nothing wrong with that. But why do you put this gentleman with glasses and a blue shirt who greets the guests at the beginning first? He destroys the typical Italian hospitality. He doesn't speak, doesn't even smile, as if it costs extra, and this immediately creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. You are known for your warm nature, and that is one of the reasons why people like to eat Italian food, and not just because of the delicious dishes. Perhaps it would be better to move this man to a position where he does not have direct contact with guests. Then everything will fit perfectly and visiting you will be fun again

As a pick-up person, you are no longer treated the way you used to - namely as a welcome guest. Rather, you are given the feeling of a disturbing person who doesn't fit in visually and the espresso while you wait is history. The spaghetti carbonara my husband had was filling and okay in his opinion. My lasagne was overloaded with sauce and it just tasted overly seasoned and cheesy and there was no counterbalance in taste, such as a slightly sweet spiciness. So it was a bit boring and the food had delivery service quality of a pizzeria with 2 bar tables. Very unfortunate! The status “It tastes absolutely good and is absolutely recommended!” Unfortunately, you've lost out on me personally. 🙎🏻‍♀️ Where has the quality and nice service gone? Are only seated, higher-class guests desired? Then why the pickup service? The turning hammer is no longer blocked by guests. I see that as a plus for the Düsseldorf public order office.👮🏼‍♀️ The lady seems to love her job. 😬 For the difficult parking situation in the past, the poor service and unsatisfactory quality, a free meal delivered would actually be due. (...as far as parking is concerned, even for the entire Gengelstrasse!) 🧐☝️🍝

I can only recommend this restaurant, let's start with the food, it was very tasty and the ingredients were fresh, the carbonara in the pecorino body was a highlight and very tasty. The staff was also very nice and very attentive. A must to come here.

In the fall of 2023, a Margareta pizza (with buffalo mozzarella cost just under €7.00... (it was also worth it...). On May 9th, 2024, Pizza Margareta Tel. was ordered and picked up... yes 15.00 ??? € the inflation according to. Federal government is approximately 3.7%. I ask myself the question “was that the last pizza I bought from you…???? The VAT was (VAT rate in the catering industry for consumption away from home. Even if food and drinks are consumed away from home, the 19% VAT regulation does not apply. This generally applies to food that guests take away or order for home delivery , only 7 percent VAT on January 9, 2024).

Italian style at home, delicious dinners and pizzas. Truly excellent hospitality and cuisine. We will definitely be back next time!

Fantastic pizza and service! Walking distance from the Lindner Hotel. The restaurant manager even gave me a free bottle of pesto on the way out because I told him how much I enjoyed the food and drinks. Bravo!

I can only recommend this restaurant. The food, as always, was excellent again!! I have never tasted such good asparagus risotto. We also had a meat dish, it was also incredibly tasty! The owner and his wife greeted us and asked very nicely if everything was OK with us. They had a short, nice conversation with us, which I find particularly special :).Both are very friendly, polite and personable. We heard Italian speaking from the kitchen, we felt so comfortable when we were on vacation :) . I have to say everything was great and we always enjoy coming back! :) :) :)

We sat at a table with 6 people. The service was very attentive, as it was with the previous one. As a starter we had roasted ciabatta, dip and olives. The dip was a bit tight. The various drinks were ok. The pizza was satisfying. Where the diameter The edge of the dough is a matter of taste. I prefer thin dough, but it was fine for my husband. Among other things, steaks and lamb chops with side dishes were ordered. Both meat dishes were very delicate, tender and well seasoned. The side dishes consisting of soggy frozen vegetables with no bite and very small portions didn't inspire me. Neither do the spring potatoes in oil, which are easy tasted bland. It's a shame, so my advice would be, working on the supplements.

Very bad, asked on the phone if they were open for orders. Feedback You accept orders, but it takes 40 minutes. Of course, you're happy to wait that long to ensure quality, but the conversation was simply ended by the restaurant. I enjoyed staying with you but the service leaves a lot to be desired!!! Never come back.

I can highly recommend this place. The food is really very good. The ambience is typically Italian when there are more people in the restaurant, it gets loud. But you can still be at home 😉

Highly recommended place on the outskirts of Dusseldorf, we had a very comfortable and delicious dinner for just €27 for two people (drink + dish) more than enough, we were very satisfied and the service was very friendly. I was left wanting to try the pasta in the parmesan wheel with truffle.

My evening at this pizzeria was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I arrived I felt welcome and treated special. The welcome was warm and the staff was extremely professional. The atmosphere of the restaurant is simply beautiful. The furnishings and ambience are cozy and inviting. It's the perfect place for a relaxed meal with friends or a romantic date. As for the food, all I can say is: Wow! The selection of pizzas is impressive and the quality of the ingredients and dough is simply second to none. Every bite was a taste experience. The pizzas were perfectly baked and had a crispy crust, just the way I like it. The combinations of toppings were creative and harmonious. Simply delicious! The staff was extremely attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. They were always willing to make recommendations and fulfill all of our requests. I was particularly impressed by her knowledge of the menu and her ability to advise us with passion and enthusiasm. And as far as the service is concerned, all I can say is that it was perfect. The food was served quickly and the staff made us feel comfortable throughout the evening. They were friendly, polite and discreet. Overall, my evening was a real pleasure. The quality of the food, service and atmosphere were absolutely first class. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back. Nice place, nice people and above all the food is good

Parking on a Saturday evening is forgettable. If the handful of seats in front of the restaurant are full, then any other attempt is futile - the entire street is prohibited from parking. Reservation was not honored. Had to sit at an uncomfortable communal table. Drinks were served quickly and friendly - we were simply ignored while eating. Intervened after 20 minutes. No bread was served, no water. Pizzas taste less satisfying.

Cozy place, high quality food, good cellar and fantastic owner

After our friends invited us to a wedding dinner at another restaurant and we were left hanging there, I was able to reserve a table at Ca del Re for the same evening within half an hour. This was beautifully decorated and set accordingly. As mentioned, all within half an hour. The evening was saved. The food was excellent. Tender fillet of beef perfect to the point. T-bone, great meat and super tender. Thanks to the staff who saved our friends' evening.

About 10 of us used the bowling alley, which was a lot of fun. Food was good, service friendly and quick. Prices are more than fair.

The meal was excellent ,! Super delicious fresh seafood! And my friend had an original Italian pizza from the stone oven! Highly recommended, very nice service and authentic Italian cuisine!

Na ja, ziemlich teuer für die angebotene Qualität. Sehr laut und schlechte Belüftung. Musik viel zu laut. War früher mal viel schöner. Schade, dass Dany nicht mehr da ist. Der ist jetzt leider in Derendorf. Es gibt in Unterrath noch einen wesentlich angenehmeren und besseren Italiener! Und dort wirklich authentisch. Ganz in der Nähe.

Pretty Nice place, amazing food fantastic pizzas.

Trotz Vorbestellung bekam ich leider nur einen Platz angeboten, der als einziger nicht mit Serviette und Dekomaterial versehen war.Dabei war ich der erste Gast an diesem Mittag. Ich fühlte mich, als Schwerbehinderte und einzelner Gast diskriminiert. Das Essen kam jedoch zügig und war schmackhaft.

Sehr gute Küche, große Auswahl, super Service und gute Preis-Leistung . Kommen gerne wieder ..

Direzione aeroporto. Cerco su Google un ristorante in zona e mi imbatto in questo ristorante che mi incuriosisce prima per le alte recensioni e poi perché è italiano. Siamo in 5. Decidiamo di andare anche senza prenotazione. Veniamo accolti calorosamente come la gente del sud Italia sa fare. Ci accomodiamo ed apprezziamo lo stile caloroso. Indecisi se cenare con piatti tradizionali o con pizza. Ci dividiamo in 2 ma partiamo prima con un bell'antipasto. Seguono pizze ed altri piatti accompagnati da tanta birra. Per finire dessert con coreografia folcloristico per lo zabaione. Ci siamo trovati bene anche se il prezzo forse leggermente alto. Il parcheggio non è facilissimo ma ok. Desidero sottolineare la cortesia ed il calore dei personale.

War Ende September hier, hatte den Kellner versprochen den Abend zu bewerten. Hat sehr gut geschmeckt, hat mich sehr an meine Heimat erinnert, Qualität top👌🏼 Bedienung sehr freundlich👍🏼und anbiete sehr gemütlich✌🏼 Gerne wieder! PS: non correre con la macchina così non prendi multe 😂

Zufällig in Düsseldorf gefunden nach dem Zurückflug aus dem Urlaub. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und die Portion mehr als ausreichend. Vorher gab es noch einen Gruß aus der Küche. Die Bedingung war außerordentlich aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Ambiente gemütlich und sauber. Preisleistungsverhältnis überraschend günstig. Ein Dankeschön von uns. Essen gut. Geben Sich Mühe. Werde weiter dort Essen. Muss man für sich entscheiden. Auf jeden Fall muss man es mal ausprobiert haben. Auf jedenfall eine Bereicherung für Unterrath. Neu ! War Heute wieder da. Super lecker Tomaten Suppe gegessen. Spaghetti Carbonara waren auch sehr gut. Service sehr Aufmerksam. Top! Weiter so. Bin bald wieder da.

Durch Zufall auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Vorweg gab es Brot und verschiedene Dips auf Kosten des Hauses. Hervorragend! Die Pizza die ich bestellte, war die beste Pizza seit locker 20 Jahren!! Größe und Geschmack wirklich wirklich super! Sogar Knoblauch Öl in "normal" und scharf gab es gratis zum Essen dazu! Der Service war zuvorkommend, freundlich und einfach erste Sahne!! Auch für einen bestellten und (reduzierten) Grappa gab es noch einen aufs Haus dazu!! Ich bin wirklich überrascht das es so etwas noch gibt und kann es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Falls ich wieder in der Nähe bin werde ich definitiv wiederkommen!! Danke an das gesamte Team für dieses Erlebnis!

Es riecht schon beim Betreten des hübschen Lokals einladend lecker und die Speisekarte bietet wirklich Tolles. Tolle Antipasti! So ganz original italienisch war meine Spagetti Carbonara nicht, aber sie waren gut. Die Pasta meines Mannes, mit Zucchini und Salsiccia war herausragend!
