Pizza wasn't bad, but unfortunately they don't join TheFork and accept Yums. Then more people would definitely discover this pizza pasta shop. The location at Wehrhahn is not ideal for walk-in customers. With such apps they would definitely be guaranteed more sales.

The Casanova restaurant has been one of my favorite places for years. The pasta always tastes incredibly good and you can tell that it is cooked with a lot of love. I particularly appreciate the atmosphere there – it is simply pleasant and warm. The employees are friendly and accommodating, and the people who come together there also contribute to this special atmosphere. You just feel completely comfortable, almost like you are at home. I always look forward to being there and can't wait to go back.

I've been going to Casanova for years and I'm always thrilled. The pasta is to die for, the pizza is really delicious, and the dessert is simply heavenly! It's hard not to like something. The atmosphere is super pleasant, and the food tastes as if someone with a lot of heart had prepared it for you - almost like at mom's home. I always look forward to my next visit! 😊

We ended up here because we hadn't made a reservation anywhere. Normally I would not have chosen this quickly. But the service was very friendly and we were also positively surprised with the food. And all that for a great price.

Finally a restaurant where everything is right. Ambience, food, service and also prices. The food was very tasty. Everyone really enjoyed the pizza. The prices are very humane. The service was quick and friendly. We were all pleasantly surprised that the coffee/espresso was on the house. The first, but definitely not the last visit.

We had a team event nearby. We were tied to one location and unfortunately couldn't go to the restaurant. But even though that's not necessarily part of it, the boss delivered the pizzas to us. That was really outstanding. In addition, everyone enjoyed it very much. The pizzas are exactly as they should be. The edge is crispy, the base is thin, the topping is really generous and of excellent quality. Unfortunately I can't judge the ambience of the restaurant, but according to the pictures it looks great ;-) Gladly again and a big, heartfelt thank you 🫶

We tried the Tehran and Washington pizzas, and honestly, it’s been a long time since we had pizza this good! The pizza crust was excellent, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly baked. It really elevated the whole experience!

We sat for a few minutes, then someone came and we asked for lactose-free options. This was strictly denied (there were actually salads and tomato sauce, ...). Never experienced anything like this. Then they just left again.

Good little Italian restaurant. The food is OK but nothing more. The service is not fast when busy. But the setting remains nice. The price remains in line with the services (correct).

We've driven past it often and recently had dinner there. The restaurant is comfortably furnished and the staff is nice, but they seemed a bit overwhelmed because our orders were wrong or something was missing. The food was delicious, the noodles were good and simply prepared. The pizza could have stayed in the oven a little longer, but it tasted delicious with the pasta.

In my opinion, it's not competitive in the Düsseldorf area when it comes to takeaway pizza. 1. This pizzeria doesn't offer a delivery service, which raises expectations a little higher and makes you feel hopeless. The pizza, however, is average, thin dough, ingredients are clear, but the taste of salami or pepperoni is good. 2. The price. Don't be fooled by outdated Lieferando prices or published maps by Casanova. The price development here has progressed massively in recent years. A Pizza Inferno 4 years ago was €8-8.50 and is now €13.20. This is not justifiable for the clear compilation of ingredients and what is currently being handed over to the customer. We are also not here from the location on Königsallee next to Louis Vuitton. Pizzaman, El Greco and Telepizza, for example, deliver significantly better quality and deliver the pizza directly to your home. Maybe the pizza is sometimes smaller but significantly thicker. The dough is the same thing. 3. The website doesn't work (no external appearance, no information directly from the owner, unprofessional) 4. Staff very friendly, the pizza wasn't ready at the agreed time, but overall it didn't take longer than maybe 3-4 minutes, that's okay. 5. The ambience. As in any room you enter as a human being, you have a first impression. For me, as some people have already mentioned in the reviews, it felt more like a cold flair of system catering. Do you get fresh Italian stone oven pizza here? The feeling of Italy? The seduction like Casanova? No Overall, I would neither order here again nor eat out with others.

Unfortunately, we as a company had a bad experience today and were kicked out of the store because we ordered with the old menu and everything got messed up in the kitchen. Unfortunately, we were not given a new card with which we could order, as none were available. Before we had this conversation, we were made to sit for half an hour and had to ask questions first. The employee got louder - the whole restaurant heard. We should go to McDonalds, there's no food for us. Unfortunately, in this case the employee probably missed his calling. That's not how you treat customers. Apparently the employee was basically having a bad day because a quarter of an hour earlier he had thrown out three normal customers while shouting through the entire store: "Come back when you can see it's full. Go out."

We were here on a Friday evening. Unfortunately the food wasn't really good. It just lacked taste. Unfortunately the service was not satisfactory. So the main course arrived, even though the starter hadn't been eaten yet. The service worker was apparently trained, but was left alone, so two things happened to her that I don't want to go into further here. The food came so quickly that we suspect it was a lot of “preparation”. Only the ambience was okay. The menu is no longer as extensive as the 4-year-old images of the menu on Google Maps suggest.

The food was quite good, but the waiting time was simply unacceptable. We waited around 10 or 15 minutes just for our drinks. And then when we received the drinks we had to wait again for around 5 minutes until they came to order our food. And then, as you can imagine, we had to wait forever. The food was ok, but not the incredibly long wait.

We were in Düsseldorf for the weekend and chose a restaurant with a good Google rating for dinner for 4 people. We were seated straight away. The food was really tasty. The price was also good for what we ate. The service was also good. But we found the location too loud. Man couldn't even have a conversation in peace and the toilets weren't that clean. Men's toilet was clogged and overflowed. There was toilet paper at the sink to dry your hands and they were lying all over the floor etc. It's actually a shame for the GF Line

Outrageously good pizza! 🍕 Inviting, cozy and atmospheric mood. Italian music is playing in the background, the waitress impresses with her Italian temperament and charm and you can enjoy the first real rays of sunshine of the year through the large windows. My favorite pizzeria is lucky that I was 'just' passing through here, otherwise Casanova would be serious competition for it.

We already knew the Pizzeria Casanova in Reuschenberg and were guests at the Pizzeria Casanova in Düsseldorf yesterday. And we were truly guests!!! The service couldn't be better. And we ate our way through the menu with starters, salad, pizza and warm chocolate cakes. In short: We like to eat a lot of pizza... for us, the pizza from Pizzeria Casanova with its family owners is THE BEST PIZZA WE KNOW! Thank you for the wonderful evening. WE'LL LOVE TO COME BACK! Saying the worst experience in my life, it already gives too much importance to this place that dares to call itself a restaurant. But alas, that's the only thing I can say. Brief introduction: I am Italian, I am 45 years old, I am in Düsseldorf for the Boot fair where I work as an interpreter for a large boat builder brand.I didn’t eat in this restaurant because I was not allowed to do so. After a day at the fair I went to this restaurant to eat something before returning to the hotel which is a 2 minute walk away. Once I entered, I didn't know if the owner or the manager who was on the opposite side of the room welcomed me very "very warmly" by shouting: welcome ma'am, come to me please, I'll seat you. Notice that the same gentleman moved the jackets of other tables that occupied the place where I then sat. In short, he did everything himself, a very attentive welcome, I would have said... The gentleman in question then left the restaurant. After a few minutes (let's say a few...) one of the waiters came to my table to take my order. In a kind and humorous way, I thought, I said that before ordering the food I would really like to drink a good glass of red wine. Merlot is the house wine, the answer. I asked what they had besides Merlot (perhaps too many questions for charlatans who claim to have a restaurant). A Burgunder, would you like to taste it? The waiter actively offered this option to me , I did not ask, just to be very clear. IAnd I said: yes thank you very much. From that moment on, a scenario worthy of a sci-fi movie. Long story short: no one served me again for a few minutes then the owner came back and I saw that the waiters said something to him and he came to me and ordered me to get my things, to go out and go to eat somewhere else because they didn't want any problems otherwise, perhaps, they would have called the police. Welcome to Casanova in Düsseldorf. Never ever something like this happened to me. If I did something wrong I am sorry but…. Speechless. By the way, a few steps further there is a real Italian restaurant, Sa Nuraghe, they are Sardinian, and I ate a good pizza and was treated like any normal customer. KEIN ITALIENER!! Wir 3 Kollegen aus der Schweiz haben ein ITALIENISCHES RESTAURANT für den Silvester Abend gesucht , und sind im Internet auf dieses angebliche italienische Restaurant gestoßen , wo wir dann auch reserviert hatten. Im Restaurant angekommen wurde uns immer mehr bewusst das es kein echtes Italienisches Restaurant ist. Kommen wir zum Essen , die Vorspeise Bruschetta wenn man sie so nennen darf, war im vollen Umfang eine Katastrophe, die Tomaten haben sich frisch aus der Kühltruhe angefühlt und geschmacklich will ich garnicht weiter eingehen. Die Pizza war der Highlight des Abends , wie zum Teufel kriegt man es hin, so eine schlechte Pizza zu machen dachte ich mir nach den ersten bissen ? Als ich dann Richtung Küche den Pizza Becker sah wurde es mir bewusst , ich dachte ich hab in mein Leben echt schon alles gesehen aber das war wirklich zu viel des Guten , er benutzte ein Nudelroller um die Pizza zu machen. Merkt euch eins , bei jeder Pizza wo ihr aus dem Ofen holt , stirbt ein Italiener in Italien !! Das war eine Qual für uns dem zuzuschauen. Hätten wir kein Zeitdruck gehabt an dem Tag, würden wir das Essen stehen lassen und zu einem anderen Restaurant gehen , da aber der Zeitplan es uns nicht erlaubt hat , und wir auch mit großem Hunger gekommen sind , da wir schon um 10 Uhr morgens von der Schweiz los gefahren sind und wir erst um 18 Uhr das Restaurant reserviert hatten, haben wir uns qualvoll gezwungen, den Schrott zu essen. Ich finde es ehrlich gesagt eine FRECHEIT EINE BODENLOSE UNVERSCHÄMTHEIT mit dem Namen und der Küche einer anderen Kultur zu werben wenn kein einziger Mitarbeiter von euch Italiener ist. Von mir aus lass wenigstens nur den Koch & und Pizza Bäcker Italiener sein !! Ich geh stark davon aus, dass ihr Türken seid da ihr untereinander auf Türkisch Kommuniziert habt , bitte bleibt bei eurem Kebab in Zukunft , das könnt ihr mit Sicherheit besser. Und diese ganzen guten Bewertungen werden mir ein Rätsel sein. Arrivederci 🙋🏽‍♂️

Middelgroot restaurant dichtbij centrum Düsseldorf. Uitgebreide kaart met pizza's, pasta's, etc. Ik had de pizza Napoli met kaas, tomaat, ansjovis, kappertjes en olijven. Dunne en krokante bodem, pizza was wel heel zout, maar dat zal aan de hoeveelheid ansjovis hebben gelegen. Bediening was snel en heel vriendelijk.
