Pizza Hut in Mainz

The food there was really not good. Pizza was hot (a good thing) but swimming in oil, mozzarella sticks tasted like a hint of cardboard and the wedges weren't seasoned and weren't cooked properly... The staff, on the other hand, were super friendly and accommodating. The furniture is very old and could be replaced. All in all, very overpriced (junk) food.

The pizza 🍕 is very good. The service and just the ambience need to be renewed.

The food there is very good. The staff is always friendly! The service is always good, the food arrives after a few minutes of waiting! Apart from the lunch specials, it is quite expensive. The toilets are clean. Unfortunately it's difficult or expensive to reach by car! For this reason and also because of the usually high prices, a star deduction!

Leider wurden wir nicht mit dem nötigen Respekt behandelt. Wir möchten nach einem langen Arbeitstag in Ruhe essen und trinken, ohne unhöfliche Bemerkungen von Ihrer Kollegin zu hören. Das ist sehr wenig hilfreich und ich bitte Ihre Kollegin, dies zu respektieren. Herr Dewan (Restaurantleiter) Sie lassen die Kunden keine Kritik und Meinung sondern stellen die Kunden so hin als wüsste man nix und Diskriminieren diese ebenso. Wie ich festellen konnte haben andere Kunden ebenfalls diese Erfahrung mit Ihnen und den unfreundlichen Personal gemacht. Schade das es so ist und bleiben wird. Wie Sie es doch so schön betonen in Ihrer Email. Bitte meiden Sie diesen Laden.

Richtig ekelhaftes Essen sehr unhöfliche Mitarbeiter wollen direkt Streit anfangen und schreien durchs ganze Gebäude.

Really bad. My pizzas were burnt and we paid more because the waiter somehow added an option that we didn't want (CC or something). The pizzas taste like just oil. Artificially. This is very bad for a pizzeria.

Picked up 2 pizzas. Service was OK, but the pizzas weren't tasty at all. The dough was thick and soft and somehow not tasty at all. No crust on the edge. And everything just tasted like fat.

Food was good so far but had to ask several times for clean cutlery and plates. It's a shame to even throw out dirty dishes.

Am Mittag für zwei Pizzen eingekehrt. Service schnell und freundlich . Preise durchaus ‚sportlich‘ und geschmacklich waren die Pizzen kein ‚highlight‘. Da habe ich positivere Erinnerungen an vergangene Zeiten bei Pizza Hut. Fazit: besser beim ‚Italiener‘ eine Pizza essen. Kartenzahlung möglich.

We just ordered some veggie pizza and melts Melts were okay but pizza did not bake properly and it's like eating the dough. When we asked the manager she re-heated it but as always dough did not bake and when you poke your pizza with fork, you can see the dough. I had a good experience at other pizza huts but here spending 18 euros on dough rather pizza is not a great experience Maybe it's an exceptional case where preheating of oven was not done properly or something else but please take care of this issue Service was good 👍🏻

Hello, was at the Pizza Hut in Mainz on Saturday around 7 p.m. Generally the first time at Pizza Hut. What can I say, I work in hygiene wholesale and I complain about the following: The hygiene in the men's toilets was terrible. Pungent smell of urine, the urinal sieves were dirty, the soap in the refillable soap dispenser settled. This means that the dispenser is rarely or never cleaned. But always just filled on top Dirty floors, walls, sinks and mirrors.. There was no proof of cleaning such as: at McDonald's where you can see when and who cleaned! The tables in the restaurant weren't properly clean under all the promotional sheets. The cook had a hood on, but his arms were extremely hairy and there was no protection over it. He also didn't wear disposable gloves when preparing food. It is questionable whether he washed or disinfected his hands before preparation! The quality of the food, the service and the waiting time were average. In my opinion, there is clearly room for improvement in this branch when it comes to hygiene throughout the entire company I will no longer visit this provider's restaurant.

Pizza is as you would expect from Pizza Hut. Vegan tuna is highly recommended. Our waitress Alona was super friendly and accommodating, which made our visit much better. Thanks for that!

We, my girlfriend and I, were briefly in this Pizza Hut branch around 9 p.m. on April 26, 2024 and wanted to order pizzas to take away. The only apparent problem was that we had our dog with us. After a brief greeting from a member of staff, we were told that the dog had to stay outside. I replied that we only wanted to order something to go and didn't want to eat in the restaurant. The next comment was again: “Yes, but the dog has to go out.” Place an order once, put down the money and you’re done. It's nothing more. If even that is too much to wait in the entrance area with a dog until the pizzas are ready, then you should simply put a sign on the door so that people with dogs don't even enter this shop. Because for 19€ per pizza, I'm certainly not going to wait in the cold and be told this in a somewhat unfriendly manner. We then simply left the restaurant without comment and without pizza, after another employee in the entrance/express area didn't feel like taking care of our dog (a completely harmless little French bulldog) and let us feel this. It's a shame, I know many more upscale restaurants where dogs aren't a problem. That was my first and probably last experience with Pizza Hut. Really disappointing.

Very clean and friendly furnished with very nice and friendly staff.

Today, April 11th, 2024, we walked past Pizza Hut at around 7 p.m. and were keen to try the apparently very tasty pizzas. Besides, we were all very hungry. When we entered the restaurant, we immediately noticed that there was no ventilation as it was very stuffy and warm inside. However, that wasn't a big problem. At first we wanted to look around and find a comfortable seat, but we were immediately told that we were only allowed to sit in the front area, even though the restaurant was empty. It wasn't said in a polite way either. But since we really wanted to try the food, we sat down and were given the menu. While we were looking at the menu, one person decided to go to the bathroom after choosing the food. Suddenly the waitress appeared again and told us to put our water bottle, which we briefly placed on the table, in our bag. Again, in a weird and unfriendly way. To be honest, after all this rude and disrespectful treatment, we had no appetite left, and didn't want to waste our money on such a service, because it seemed like she didn't even have one Want to serve us. When we left the restaurant she said that we were only there to go to the toilet. Really unfriendly and incompetent, the toilets weren't even clean. I hope the staff either improve their behavior or are replaced. Too bad! Won't be coming back.

I think you're great. Pizza is super cool, I would love to come back and will recommend your pizza to others in the future. Unfortunately 1 star less because the location is not ideal. Thousands of people walk along right next to the outdoor area, without any small walls between the outdoor area and the pedestrian zone.

The staff is very friendly, the pizza is not always of optimal quality.

Service quick and friendly. Food fresh. Sometimes not all dishes are there and unfortunately there is no side salad. Otherwise I really enjoy being here, it's always tasty and the girls are great!

Food was good. But the service staff was inexperienced as we have been coming here for last 6 yrs but now the staff is poor. They forget what you order then you have to wait extra.plus now they only accept EC card , no credit card which is the big issue for foreigners.its an international brand I don’t know why they don’t accept credit cards.they even changed the waiters. The old staff was so quick and extraordinary but now very very lazy and absent mind ppl.i guess I wouldn’t come again .and there was stinking smell of sewerage . It was not before.all these things were not before but now it has changed I guess because of the new ownership

It is not possible to make contactless payments from a bank application, employees don’t help, it is impossible to make a bank transfer to close the check. I have worked as a Shift Manager in the leader of global HoReCa chain for 5 years and customer focus is the cornerstone of the restaurant business, remember this! The pizza and drinks are great!

The food was good, the service was super friendly, but unfortunately we ate on an ant trail 🥲 When we pointed this out to the service, they said the problem was already known. Despite this, the area hasn't been closed, which is strange.

The food meets the well-known PH standards and is good. The service is friendly and attentive, but latently overwhelmed. Cleanliness, especially the toilets, leaves a lot to be desired.

Just opened. The toilets were completely filthy, there was a smell of urine even in front of the women's toilet. The entire floor was sticky or greasy and you could see all the shoe prints on the floor. The glass was not acidic, there was a lip print and grease fingerprints. You would think that everything at Pizza Hut would taste the same, but the pizza was terrible. The diarrhea also came - quicker than expected and strangely enough for everyone who had eaten there. Never again!

Nette Bedienung, der Rest Katastrophe. Teller mit großen Essensresten, nach Reklamation wurde uns ein neuer verschmutzter Teller gebracht. Toiletten riechen bis in den Gastraum. Böden dreckig. Einmal und nue wieder.

Don’t advertise an entire vegan menu, offer the customer the vegan menu, then tell them nothing vegan is available today. What a waste of my time. Will not return and obviously wouldn’t recommend you waste your time either when looking for vegan options.

Pizza Hut ist Pizza Hut, also überall gleich. Was man nur mal hervorheben sollte, dass die Mainzer wirklich mit das freundlichste Personal haben. Ich war schon in vielen Filialen, da ich es einfach liebe, aber am besten ist es in Mainz. Solch liebe, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienungen findet man wirklich nicht oft.

Für den Preis echt nicht empfehlenswert. Pizza schmeckt so als ob man 1l fett drüber gekippt hat und viel zu süß. Bedienung ist genervt und unfreundlich. Auf den Tellern waren noch Essensreste. Ich werde diesen Ort bis zum tot meiden.

Wollten vor Ort Gutschein einlösen. Den T2 für Take-Away 2für1 Pan Pizza. Laut denen funktioniert nur das Gutecheinheft, Im gutscheinheft ist es genau der selbe Gutschein wie Online. Schade schlechter Service

Leckeres Essen un der Kellner David war sehr freundlich.

Das Essen ist Mega teuer wollte was günstiges haben bekam aber 3 dips die ich nicht haben wollte und somit war das Essen teurer als normal. Als ich das Personal deswegen angesprochen hatte war sie total unfreundlich. Kein entgegen kommen. Essen war schrecklich Pizza verbrannt und kalt. Nie wieder Pizza Hut kaufe lieber die tiefkühlpizza vom Aldi.

Zentral gelegen, aber leider etwas schmuddelig. Das Restaurant könnte eine Renovierung gebrauchen, Mobiliar veraltet und stark abgenutzt. Essen war OK, Getränke wie überall recht teuer! Freundliches Personal.

My favourite pizza place in Mainz! I love Pan pizzas there and Nutella bread. It is such a delight to meet people working there every time I go for dine-in or pick up my pizza. ❤️

Ich kehrte zum Mittagessen hier ein. Das Personal grüßte alle neuen Kunden freundlich. Der Gastraum bietet genügend Sitzplätze an. Die Karte wurde mir flink gebracht und die Bestellung aufgenommen. Die Pizza kam noch kurzer Zeit an den Tisch und war schön heiß. Der Kaffee crema schmeckte gut. Die Toiletten waren sauber. Insgesamt kann ich nichts Negatives berichten. Offenbar haben die Betreiber gewechselt, wenn ich die letzten Einträge so lese. Insgesamt eine Empfehlung, wenn man sich vom Stadtbummel kurz ausruhen möchte ( und nebenbei noch die "Örtlichkeit" aufsuchen will/muss).

Die Pizzeria ist so lala, die Atmosphäre ist auch in Ordnung, irgendwie mittelmäßig im Komfort. Aber die Toilette ist schrecklich, sie stinkt! Der Service ist auch nicht besonders gut, uns wurde trocken bedient, ohne ein "Danke" oder "Einen schönen Tag noch". Gemischte Eindrücke von dieser Pizzeria.

Leider nicht mehr wie früher, Personal überfordert ok sehe ich hinweg weil es schwierig ist jemand zu bekommen. Essen ist in Ordnung aber alles sich extra kosten zu lassen ist schon dreist, ein extra Dip für hähnchensticks für 1,20€ was früher dabei war ist schon heftig. Es könnte Aufjedenfall mal richtig sauber gemacht werden überall kleine Mücken.

Nettes Personal, das nicht nur sehr freundlich ist, sondern auch sehr schnell in Sachen Bedienung. Mittagsangebote sind dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis entsprechend gut und günstig.

Был здесь недавно. Обслуживание так себе. Захотелось пройти дальше, сказали садиться где хотим, но в итоге нам сказали что в конце зала сидеть нельзя. Ладно, пропустим. Заказали пиццу, самую маленькую по моему вкусу. Стоило 15€ + напиток(3,5€). Сходил в мужскую уборную где очень плохо пахло! Очень!!!

@Torsten Knürr. Ich war auch zufällig in dem "Laden" und habe den Vorfall mitbekommen. Der Grund für die "Sperrung" des hinteren Teils des Restaurants war eher nicht Bequemlichkeit, sondern Personalmangel. Der vordere Restaurantteil war ja trotzdem halb leer. Für mich kein Problem, für andere scheinbar schon. Muss ja nicht immer gleich eskalieren. Essen war soweit ok. Bedienung freundlich.

Wir und gefühlt 100 andere Menschen hatten wohl an diesen Abend (ca. 18.30) die gleiche Idee...lecker Pizza essen. Die Pizza war soweit auch wie bei Pizza Hut zu erwarten, allerdings leidet das Geschäft wohl, wie alle unter Fachkräftemangel, es waren 4 Angestellte anwesend. Diese konnten den Ansturm nur unter großen Anstrengungen Herr werden. Sie waren SUPER freundlich trotz lauter genervt wartenden Menschen. Leider haben sie bei unserer Bestellung 1x eine Pizza vergessen und dann eine Falsche gebracht. 5 Sterne für die Freundlichkeit aber zur 'Rushhour' nicht zu empfehlen.

Am Essen ist nichts zu bemängeln. Leider ist das Fassbier als Getränk nicht mehr erhältlich, obwohl es noch auf der Getränkekarte steht. !!!!! Ich fragte nach dem Geschäftsführer, von ihm bekam ich die Auskunft, dass es noch nie Fassbier in diesem Lokal gab. Wortlos verließ ich das Restaurant. Flaschenbier zu ca. 5 Euro. Wenn Fassbier (auch Weizenbier) vom Fass aus dem Programm genommen wurde, sollte doch zumindest das auch in der Getränkekarte geändert werden. Ich erwarte, wenn ein Gast nachfragt, dass ihm ehrlich geantwortet wird. Im März 2023 trank ich in dieser Lokalität noch Weizenbier vom Fass. Im Speiselokal nebenan gibt es das typisch deutsche Getränk noch zur Mahlzeit. 18,50 Euro bezahlte ich für Getränk und kleine Pizza Achtet mal darauf, ob nur noch Rind und Hähnchenfleisch auf den Pizza Belägen verwendet wird.

Kann ich gerne empfehlen .Pizza in vielen Variationen ,in der Pfanne serviert. Probiert mal die mit Ruccola

Sehr schönes Pizza Restaurant am Essen ist nichts auszusetzen und der Service ist auch in Ordnung! Die Ambiente ist eher mittelmäßig! Am Fenster zur Straße ist das in Ordnung aber wir saßen direkt in der Ecke zur Tür hin! Was ich aber noch anmerken möchte: unsere Pizza kam sehr schnell

Pizza Hut wie man ihn kennt. Überteuerte Pizzen, jedoch geschmacklich lecker und immer wieder ein Muss.

Das Personal ist immer freundlich. Die Getränke und das Essen werden immer zügig serviert. Der Laden macht den Eindruck schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein.

Bedienung ist nett und freundlich, es ist sauber, Essen schmeckt, ja man kann sich wohlfühlen, und wir werden wiederkommen

In der Tat war der Besuch hier sehr angenehm. Wirklich freundliche Mitarbeiter, das Essen war schnell da und geschmeckt hat es natürlich auch. Des Weiteren wirkte die Filiale sehr sauber und ordentlich.

Die Pizza hat nicht geschmeckt.Der Service war nicht sehr freundlich obwohl nur 3 Tische besetzt waren.Wir waren gerade fertig da hat die Kellnerin uns schon die Rechnung hin gelegt .Hier würde ich nicht mehr hingehen.

Keine Klimaanlage, uns wurde beim Essen sehr warm und die Mitarbeiter tun einem einfach nur noch leid . Bei solchen Temperaturen ist es drinnen unerträglich gewesen . Die Pizzen sind wie immer top
