Pizza Hut in Köln

We ate there with our son. The conditions were very good for children. The rest was unreasonable. I've never eaten so badly before. Hours later I still had diarrhea and a lot of cramps.

We all got three different pizzas. You can eat them but none of them were good and miles away from being very good.

Best cheese crust pizza I know. The only small drawback - they are only available in large. But it's happy to pack it up for the next day. Also great fresh lemonades.

The food is fabulous but the decoration could still do some work

Sunday, went there at 19:30. Three workers outside smoking told me that it was closed. Cool, even though the working schedule says they close at 20:30. After 45 minutes, I passed in front of the establishment again. The same three workers were inside, alone, just sitting there. It seemed to me they were just wasting time, waiting for 20:30.

Price-performance ratio is not right at all. Almost €30 for a pizza. 0.3L Cola €4! Plus eternal waiting times at the entrance (30 minutes) and another 30 minutes after placing the order. A frozen pizza for €1.88 (branded product/offer) wouldn't have been any worse. There was no ambience either. It was crowded, loud and the toilets looked like a train station toilet. Customer service? None! The contact form and reviews are only answered using the usual copy & paste text modules. Nobody cares and no solutions are offered either. You should visit the store again and give it another chance. That I don't laugh. Every discounter has better customer service! In the end almost 70€ for two 0815 salami pizzas and two small cokes. Extremely overpriced and pointlessly wasting time waiting for 1 hour, which also cost another €5 in parking fees in the parking garage for another hour. PizzaHut has deteriorated extremely in recent years. In the future I will give this fast food chain a wide berth. This isn't fast, the price-performance ratio isn't right three times and nothing else is special. Very, very expensive fun to eat something after shopping.

Was ok. However, my conclusion is: not recommended. Initially there was interest in the takeaway deal “2 medium pizzas of your choice: PAN M (26CM)” for €19.50 according to the website. My female companion and I had to wait in line for a relatively long time and the deal didn't work. The pizza on site should then be a classic. So a little thinner and wider. PAN M (26cm) was delivered. One pizza was quite black. We ended up paying €46.36 for 2 pizzas (M) and 2 small iced teas. I have never paid so much for this price-performance ratio before. That's not appropriate for me. The atmosphere was "well", it was quite loud, the toilets had no paper to dry your hands and it smelled of urine. My female companion could not eat the thick edge of the PAN M (26 cm) for health reasons. She had been to PizzaHut before and received the Classic on the same order. This time they just asked quickly for the type of pizza (i.e. salami + veggie) + drinks and disappeared immediately. The Italian restaurant I trust costs almost half as much, makes larger, delicious pizzas and still offers authentic Italian flair. Real Parma ham and likes to spend a little on the house. This felt more like a fast food restaurant that was all about quantity over class. Meet KPIs & maximize profits instead of making customers happy. Subsequent support is provided by the external company Oracom. All feedback is simply rejected there and the fault lies with us guests. After that, no one responded at all for 2 months now. According to support: - Salami medium: €15.99 - Veggie Medium: €20.49 - Iced tea 0.3l: €3.99 That would be €44.46 for two iced teas and the two pizzas. €2 more was charged, which corresponds to a review in which a customer said that a tip of €2 was simply deducted from him without permission. Usually gladly. But don't stop at dissatisfaction. Unfortunately I don't have a receipt, only the VISA debit. The contact function on the website failed several times, so the first message had to be retyped from scratch. The PizzaHut app is also a complete disaster. The contact email from the German imprint ended with “This address was not found” I can't understand the hype surrounding PizzaHut. I'd rather make myself a decent frozen pizza at home, drink as much as I want and have peace and quiet. In the end I wasn't full either and of course the really small iced tea wasn't enough either. The way in which complaints are handled (especially subsequently via the website) also leaves a lot to be desired. This external company was apparently only hired to brush off complaints carelessly and to say that PizzaHut would hopefully be given another chance in the future. No thanks. Not again. The average of the reviews (you can choose any PizzaHut branch) speaks volumes.

The food and service were very good, but when we ordered finger food, no sauce was served with it, and each sauce cost 2 euros. This is inappropriate because such dishes require at least one sauce as a side dish.

We had sat inside and ordered pizza and garlic bread with mozzarella. The service is extremely nice and accommodating. The food was very good.

We ordered twice today, the first time the order was wrong, ok that can happen. Ordered again today and waited for 2 hours. When the food arrived, the delivery person apologized and told us that he had to wait a long time and after a long wait he was given the order that had been ready on the counter for a long time. So the food was cold. After contacting Mr. Öztürk (pizzahut schildgasse), the gentleman said that couldn't be the case. He didn't want to help us either, according to him the delivery person took 16 minutes and that's why the food was cold then he just hung up. NEVER AGAIN ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED EXTREMELY RUDE

As always very good, but I just have a feeling that the pizzas are getting smaller and smaller 🤷‍♂️ and when it comes to the prices, my dear man is very concerned about how much they charge for the pizza! Way too expensive as far as I'm concerned!!!

Unfortunately a bitter disappointment and a complete catastrophe. The two of us spontaneously had dinner there yesterday. It's completely understandable that on a day like this you have to wait longer for your food (even if one or two tables were free). But a little note before you sit down and get the drinks would have been nice (€4 per 0.3L of cola is pretty cheeky if it comes from a 1L bottle). The service was the worst experience of the entire evening. For the first time in a restaurant I thought to myself: “They hire everyone here, there’s probably no training.” The waitress literally threw completely wet cards at us on the table. The waitress didn't come by without being asked and never apologized for the long wait. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food and without my advice, a lady who had just sat down would have gotten our food and we would probably have waited another 45 minutes. In the end, the waitress was obviously surprised why we didn't leave a tip. I like to be generous with tips when the service is good. I remember Pizza Hut much better. But with THIS service, the price and especially the visit are not worth it. I recommend everyone to give it a wide berth, there are plenty of alternatives in the area.

Unfortunately not what I expected. It started with the fact that you were only allowed to choose soft drinks and, for example, no lemonades. In addition, they don't really listen to you when you order, we ordered a pizza with bacon, chicken and broccoli and there was no broccoli to be found. The staff just said "oh yes then something went wrong with my order" and left. We didn't get a new pizza or a compromise such as drinks on the house.

We haven't been there for a long time, partly because it means an 80 km drive for us. Since we were in Cologne this time anyway, we took advantage of the opportunity. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. The ambience is great. It was renovated, it looked neat and clean. The staff were very friendly. However, the food was extremely fatty. The food smelled somehow strange. The pizza, like the casserole, had been sprayed with a film of grease. I can't tell whether this strange smell was due to the spray grease. Next time you're in Cologne it probably won't be PizzaHut again.

No way the reviews are so low here. Pizza hut here is one of the best most nostalgic pizza huts around and the staff is lovely. Sometimes i forget how nice pizza hut pizzas are. Different than the authentic ones in Napoli. Different from the US pizzas and deliveries . It stands as a standard of it's own, and in a good way

The two of us went to Pizza Hut today. Starting with the service: friendly and attentive. The starters from the deep fryer were good, but the rest were not. The pasta gratin sauce had decomposed into a strange consistency and water, the meat tasted disgusting, it was still frozen in the middle - so it wasn't a treat for the palate, but a horror for the palate. The food was immediately and friendly brought back to the kitchen and canceled. The fourth ingredient was missing from our pizza, even though we were assured when it was served that it was there. The corn came later and was served to us from the pan, which was held with tongs. The “sour cream” aka sour cream that we ordered was poured directly at the table from the tetra pack into the previous container. As compensation, each of us received two scoops of ice cream. Conclusion: never again and €29.99 for a pizza with a cheese crust is simply cheeky, even these days.

The two of us ate there on November 6th, 2024. The service was absolutely unfriendly and only became friendlier when paying. The pizza and the starter were half raw. The biggest impudence was when paying. We paid by card and didn't leave a tip because we were very dissatisfied. After we asked for the bill, the lady went to the front very nervously and took a while. Then she came back with our bill and 2 euros and said she had made a 2 euro mistake because the numbers were so small. Whoosh, she was gone, in the kitchen. This is how the ladies take their tips. This is an outrage. I can only recommend everyone to check their bill. By the way, we were served by a woman Y...

After shopping in Cologne on a Saturday, we wanted to eat something quick and went to this Pizza Hut. There was a line in front of the door, we thought, "Ok, we'll wait. Once we're in, it'll be quick." Waited in front of the door for 20 minutes, then we came in. It took 15-20 minutes inside for someone to take our order. Then it took another half hour (!) until the food came. We were really angry, and the customers at the other tables, who had to wait just as long, all looked annoyed too. I've never had an experience like this in a "fast food" store. An absolute disgrace. If they don't have enough capacity for the rush, they should stop at the door and not let anyone in. Normally you would have had to offer us something to compensate, like dessert or another free drink. Never ever this Pizza Hut again!!!

You can clearly see the lack of staff. Few tables, sometimes long waiting times but friendly service. During our last visit, some items on the menu couldn't be ordered, such as cheesy-crust pizza.

We visited this place on our first day in the city centre. We did not know yet where the good restaurants were and the kids were already hungry so we decided to grab a small bite. The food was okay, as usual at Pizza Hut, the kids had some pasta and finger food. But the service was very pleasant. Tuncay was responsible for our table and did a great job. Compared to other Pizza Hut outlets I have visited in many different places, this one was clean and tidy. Thank you guys!

I took advantage of a little waiting time for friends to visit here. Friendly service, you needed a little perseverance, but that's normal in a full restaurant. The pizza, served in the usual pan, was well topped and absolutely delicious. The somewhat American style is irritating, but quite nice. -- A shop that I would happily recommend.

We were there on a Saturday. The pizza was very tasty. However, I find the prices now very high. But that is my personal feeling. Over 10 euros for a small Magherita and just under 18 euros for a small pizza.

Situated right in Neumarkt, the pizza tasted good, but the wait time was lengthy—30 minutes to place the order and another hour to be served. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience despite the quality of the pizza.

On October 8th, my girlfriend and I visited the Pizza Hut branch at Schildergasse 83, Cologne, and had a very negative experience. We clearly ordered a vegan item, but we were served dishes with meat, non-vegan cheese and cream. When we asked the waiter (last name Tuncay) if it was vegan, he got nervous, lied to us and tried to hide the mistake on the receipt. When we confronted him about it, he acted clueless and another employee had to resolve the issue and refund us the money. We haven't eaten meat for over 6 years and what happened was complete disrespect. Such a mistake can also be extremely dangerous for people with allergies. It is unacceptable that the staff does not know what they are selling.

I love eating here. As always, it is really appealing and the staff have always been nice. Sometimes we waited a little longer, but never for the food, more for the bill. But it's definitely worth it, especially if you're shopping in Cologne.

I recently ordered a Pepperoni pizza from this place, and I was absolutely impressed! I got a medium deep-dish pizza, and it was incredibly filling and perfectly balanced. But the real highlight was the dough! It was unbelievably soft and delicate, like they have some secret ingredient that makes it extra special. I’ve never had such light and fluffy dough anywhere else! The toppings were also top-notch—juicy and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves real, delicious pizza!

Mega bad service, we waited over 15 minutes until we could place our order. Three dishes from the menu were sold out. What we were told in stages. When I asked whether a dish would be cheaper if an ingredient was sold out, the answer was no, we don't do that. Nothing special in terms of taste. We're definitely not coming back.

We were there when the power supply kept failing in the entire shopping arcade. But we were in a hurry. The branch manager responded in a very professional, friendly and customer-oriented manner to the fact that we had to go and were in a hurry. Unfortunately, this happens far too rarely!

On a trip to Cologne, ate here with the children... The restaurant is quite small and not really nice. A renovation would be good here. The waiter was friendly and helpful. Food is good. Service is okay. You wait a long time. What doesn't really bother me and why I will NOT eat here anymore is that there are ONLY light or zero drinks. I'm an adult and prefer consuming sugar instead of unhealthy sweeteners. Apart from that, I don't like these substances. If the waitress hadn't pointed out to me that it was Zero, I wouldn't have enjoyed the drink. In Hamburg in Pizza Hut I was wondering why the Pepsi tasted so strange. I assume that this was also Zero, but I wasn't made aware of it. I'm going to McDonald's again.

Brokoli, chicken gratin, it was just disgusting, as liquid as soup, I couldn't finish it even though I was hungry, it used to be very tasty and today it's terrible, it cost almost 36 euros with drinks paid, Personsl so olala, for us it was the last visit

I have been visiting the Pizza Hut restaurant for 30 years. So I can allow myself to judge. The quality of the food has deteriorated incredibly. Yes, I would even go so far as to say that the quality is poor. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and broccoli-chicken noodle casserole with garlic sauce. The salami pizza looked like it was from yesterday. My wife ate a piece and left the rest on the plate. The chicken and broccoli pasta casserole was pretty much the worst thing I had ever eaten. The garlic sauce was completely missing and the food tasted absolutely nothing. It was like eating tagliatelle without any side dish. It was not edible. Horrible! The highlight was when the waiter asked whether it was tasty. The price-performance ratio is extremely poor. I will never set foot in a Pizza Hut again.

I've never seen such grumpy staff. No hello, no goodbye. The restaurant wasn't exactly crowded, so the staff would have been stressed. Rolling your eyes after asking to pack up the rest of the pizza is the most harmless thing. The food itself was, like in every Pizza Hut, very good, but the friendliness could still be worked on.

Simply disgusting! Drinks lukewarm, stale, non-carbonated or diluted!? Pizza consists of 90% dry dough and a blob of toppings in the middle at overpriced prices. Starter comes after the main course. Toilets need renovation. Thank you never again!

I ordered a medium sized pizza which tasted good. However I had to pay 2 euros for ketchup and 4.99 Pay euros for cola. Everything is so expensive. I think it's not worth it.

We were second in line and it was actually our turn. When we wanted to ask the cashier something, she served other customers who actually wanted to go into the store and completely ignored us. We left less than a second later because we were very impressed by the cashier's disrespect.

Extremely long waiting time Food arrived cold

We had the idea that Pizza Hut was some kind of fast food chain, but with pizzas. It had that look. However, we had to wait a long time for our pizza. The wait staff didn't speak English. We were also very disappointed with the price: 25 to 30 euros for a pizza! The worst part is that we got a pizza with cheese in the crust (deliberately did not order this), but accidentally made it. These costs have simply been charged. The tables were also cramped. So the atmosphere and service are inadequate. The pizzas themselves were tasty and very large (as expected for that price) so we had more than enough. You can get a box to take the leftover pizza with you. You can pay by card. All in all, 3 stars is just enough, but next time we will look for something else.

Visited this place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd July’24. Food was reasonable although expensive for what we had. Restaurant was open until 9pm; at 8:35pm I attempted to order dessert- simply 2 small Ben & Jerry’s ice cream tubs for myself and my daughter. However this was refused by staff as they said the kitchen was closed! The waiter serving us was aware that we were going to have dessert and should have advised us about the kitchen- although surely 2 tubs of ice cream could have been brought from the freezer! Extremely rude and unreasonable staff about this, and the sight of a mouse running across the floor was not what we expected either. I would not recommend this Pizza Hut.

Terrible service! Staff told us they’d take 2 minutes to make our pizza, but then proceeded to totally forget about us. The pizza’s are also terribly overpriced, I get that it’s the centre of the city, but nearly €20 for a small pizza is unacceptable! Don’t recommend!!

Food here is pretty standard and what you expect from The Hut. We were able to get a large pizza and two sides and drinks for under 30 euro. The service on the other hand is terrible, we had to call upon the server for menus, to order, to pay, for cutlery....literally whilst they stood around chatting.

So expensive. One coke and one S size pizza was 21Euro.

Service was top and very accommodating and friendly. Food like you would expect at Pizza Hut, that's why we went there. Ambience... Well, on the upper floor you should consider the concept of the corners with the benches, as they are really close together and the whole thing will be uncomfortable in the long term.
