Pizza in Kerpen

We eat here regularly and not without reason. The pizza is the best you can find in the greater Cologne area and everything else we have eaten so far has always been perfect. The service is super attentive and friendly, even when it's extremely busy. The Sunday before last we were here for a birthday brunch, which was served especially for us outside of the fixed brunch times. The offer was unbeatably good, we were only allowed to eat extremely delicious food for hours. Listing everything would take forever. All guests were extremely satisfied. One special feature worth mentioning is that coffee, tea and soft drinks were included! That wasn't the only thing that made the price-performance ratio perfect. Food intolerances (gluten and egg) were also taken into account!!! Thank you again for this great day.

We ate there with 7 people. The staff was very friendly, but in my opinion a bit overwhelmed, perhaps because it was quite full. The food was very good for everyone and I would definitely come back again.

Nice pizzeria right at the outdoor go-kart track. We felt good. Nice conditions, the pizzas we had were very tasty, the salami was a bit too spicy.

Excellent food. I had the gambas aglio olio and the arrabita pasta. Both excellent. They have an open kitchen concept where you can see the stove oven for the pizza and the people working. The restaurant looks nice inside and also has some outdoor tables. We sat by the window where you can see the kart race tracks which is nice and fun. The waitress that served me was very friendly but there was another one with short blond hair who was not the same. I will definitely go back.

The food is very good. The bread for the bruschetta was very good, small bread. From the window seats we could look at the go-kart track. The staff was very friendly.

We actually wanted to sit on the terrace when the weather was nice. We also have a short one. The terrace was not invitingly furnished. It looked more like the terrace of a diner. In addition, around 20 Dutch kart drivers were standing around loudly and unorganized and almost sitting on our table. Sure, there's the go-kart track downstairs, but there's a restaurant upstairs. As a waiter/ress, I would have gone there, put three tables together and asked the gentlemen to sit down. The problem would have been solved. We then forced ourselves inside.

If you sit right by the window you have a great view of the outdoor go-kart track. However, it is too loud outside to eat. The noise level inside is also quite high when the restaurant is busy, which I have never experienced before. This is certainly due to the excellent Italian cuisine. The specialty are certainly the pasta dishes, which are tossed in Parmesan cheese. The service is guest-friendly and friendly. Table reservations always make sense. Parking spaces can be found directly in front of it. Always happy to eat here 🙂👍🏻.

We dined here on a Saturday evening. The food and service were excellent. However, the background noise inside the restaurant is extremely loud. This made it more than difficult to have a conversation with six people because you couldn't understand the other person, or only to a limited extent.

A great restaurant with very nice and attentive staff. The boss of the house also serves here himself. Despite being on the first floor, the restaurant is also very easy to reach for older people or wheelchair users thanks to its own elevator. Price performance is also 100% right Since the restaurant is located directly on the Michael Schumacher kart track, you even have a great view of the outdoor track from the restaurant and can watch the kart drivers while you eat. But the room temperature in the restaurant was really very frosty - despite the gas oven (!) in the restaurant. Well, unfortunately the doors downstairs were also open.😥 The really delicious Parmesan spaghetti was again sensational, but could have been much warmer. So: temperatures should be high everywhere. Was there for Christmas brunch with 7 people. Food delicious. Unfortunately very busy with long waiting times. Kudos to the girls who served us. The older gentleman took some getting used to when it came to hospitality. The highlight was the bottle of Prosecco, which was billed at €70 (unfortunately only noticed afterwards). The glass of Prosecco on the menu only costs €5.90. Unfortunately, the owner does not respond to contact requests via the website. A pity. Would have liked to come back.

There are definitely nicer Italian restaurants in terms of interior design, yes. But the food is really good! The parmesan spaghetti: a face! But the computer booking portal has enormous weaknesses. Despite booking, the restaurant was closed. It's solved, but... the thought remains. And another important piece of information: you ALWAYS have to pay for vouchers in cash (for whatever reason).

Birthday feast in "LaPiazza" was disappointing for me. There was a special menu for the holidays, which was totally fine. Everyone ordered their desired meal, of 3 main courses. I chose goose with red cabbage and dumplings. My food came after the correct preparation time and looked good. The disappointment came when I shared a dumpling, with some sauce on it, lukewarm. Okay, you could be forgiven since there was a lot going on. But with a price for this portion of €45, I expect fine dining. We told our waitress about this, gave the plate back, and after waiting for a while we received a new portion of dumplings that were still cold in the middle and therefore not even fully cooked. As proof I let my son taste it, it was like that. I told the waitress about this and said I didn't want to eat anything anymore. After a while I was brought roast goose with dumplings again. I declined because I made it clear beforehand. Our gastronomy is complaining about a lot at the moment, but no word of regret from either side, neither service nor kitchen, it's disappointing. I've been to this restaurant a few times and it's always been okay. I'm also just talking about my food. I come from the catering industry myself, am now retired, and I always understand that not everything goes smoothly, but given the prices in this restaurant, the service is absolutely not right. We had to ask for the bottle of wine and water. There was no refilling of wine or anything like that, the espresso didn't come with the dessert, as the guest had specifically requested, but when the dessert was gone. For these prices, as a guest I also demand a level of quality and service. It's bad when the grandson says, Grandpa, I'll cook something for you. This restaurant won't see me again.

It opened at 6 p.m.!! Garden chairs cold and uncomfortable!!! Food was just average and dessert had to be sent back because only HALF of it was there compared to my neighbor. Not recommended.

Successful mix of a classic Italian with pizza & pasta and upscale cuisine. You can simply go out for dinner with friends or family, but you can also spend a really chic evening here. We've been here many times. The food and service have always impressed us. It can be a bit noisy at times, especially when there is a lot going on. The open kitchen demonstrates the craftsmanship of the chefs, who conjure up very fine dishes, especially with the changing daily menus.

Overall a solid Italian. We were very impressed with the food the first time and were a bit disappointed the second time. Carpaccio was ok, Vitallo Tonnato was delicious. the pasta with shrimp and tomato sauce was also ok. My favorite is the Pizza Pane. Overall service is also very nice. A good Italian for everyday occasions around the corner. :)

Absolute disaster! The pizzas weren't even remotely baked, the bolognese was sour and there was a hair in the last meal! I haven't eaten so badly in a long time. The service overall is also very inexperienced. It's a shame, we won't be coming back!

Very friendly service. The salami pizza was more spicy than "savory", which is why my son couldn't eat it. The other dishes were very tasty but the portions were rather small.

This is a nice pizzeria that is directly connected to the Schumacher kart track in Kerpen. It's not necessarily too cozy there, but the delicious food and service make up for it. The pizza I served there was really tasty, although I could hardly finish it after the large appetizer platter (which I shared with my colleagues). If you're there for go-karting, you can safely stop off there and fortify yourself - I would eat there again.

The food was fantastic and the service was super sweet and accommodating, the atmosphere inside was cozy, but the background noise was sometimes very loud. All in all, a super cozy, culinary evening that would be happy to repeat.

Italian with a racing outlook. The location is perfect for kart fans - you can watch the entire outdoor track while eating. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with the waiter and we had to wait a long time for the drinks, I hope he just had a bad day and isn't that crazy otherwise ;-) However, the other service staff made a competent impression and were quicker. The pizza was very tasty, nice thin, fluffy base, delicious tomato sauce and real mozzarella. Food great! Will come again next visit :)

Food: 9/10 Service: 2/10 We got the menu after about 20 minutes (after I got up and asked for it). When ordering drinks there were two ginger ales instead of bitter lemon and a very late bottle of water. Food was really good for the price and you can't really complain. After a long time working from home, met with the team friends in the office and then planned a belated Christmas holiday at LaPiazza. It would have been a nice day if we had chosen another location. One star is one too many. Waiting two hours for food is a disgrace for me. When it comes to criticism, there is no insight, only excuses. You sit at the table and see other guests coming, ordering, eating and leaving and you're still waiting... Without words...sometimes unfriendly staff. After 2 hours when the first dishes were served, they joked "The rest will come in 2 hours" - outrageous. A dish that was ordered was forgotten. My dish was lukewarm. Maybe it works better if there are two of you. But with a larger group it was a disaster. Bad organization. I definitely can't recommend the store. P.S. If you want corn, eggs or beans in a salad and possibly yogurt sauce, you're out of place

So my wife and I became aware of the restaurant through the program my local your local and since it's not far from us we tried it out and I have to say my expectations were far exceeded in all respects. The ambience, the service and the food were simply fantastic. At that time I had a stomach reduction nine months ago, which I told the boss because it meant I couldn't eat as much and he completely understood and recommended a fish plate with two different types of fish and side dishes consisting of small grilled potatoes Vegetables and a sauce that is second to none. My wife had spaghetti with prawns and what can I say it was a taste explosion. As a starter we had the best bruschetta I have ever eaten and as dessert three different types consisting of crème brulee, panacotta and teramisu. It was all a pleasure across the board. Actually the best Italian restaurant we have been to. Dear team from La Piazza, keep it up and we'll be back.

We waited 50 minutes for the food, then the wrong dish was brought, we wanted to eat it anyway so as not to have to wait another hour, but the food was too salty, the staff was friendly but overwhelmed, we had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks we ordered, I will never enter the restaurant again
