Rarely have we been treated so poorly! We ordered 2 drinks and 2 pizzas plus pizza rolls. The pizzas came first after 40 minutes and then finally the drinks upon request. The edge of the pizza was so hard you could have easily broken a window. Other guests who came also left very quickly because there was no service. We were able to forget the second drink. So just a little tip: you either have fun working in the catering industry or you don't. At the end I received an “intermediate invoice” (paying taxes is not like that). Been there for the first and last time. My husband & I work in the service area ourselves. Picking up the guests when they receive the information “longer waiting time” would be a start here. You notice the unprofessionalism of the career changers!

Friendly service and great food. Over the years a bank in Türnich, Balkhausen and Brüggen. The food is delicious, even if you're very hungry, the plates are generous and the service has been perfect for years. The delivery times in the delivery service are reasonable and the food arrives at our home good and warm. My full marks for that too!!! TOP and keep it up!!!

Huge portions, the schnitzel is unbeatable

Food was really great! Had a schnitzel with fries and spicy sauce. Top top top. Ambience also very pleasant. More like a bar but exactly our taste. Service was super nice. However, it took a little long for our taste until the food was brought.

So, where do you start: ORDER! -You sometimes wait 3 hours instead of 60 minutes. - you get a call saying you don't have something, but you have to cancel the order yourself with Lieferando (why do you accept an order if you know you don't have it?) -Pizza rolls or herb butter etc. are often missing. It used to be good, but can no longer be ordered today. I wanted to order again after months and it was really bad. Ergo: Then just order somewhere else and no longer there. It's a shame actually, because the schnitzels are really great...

Wir sind ein Kegelclub mit 14 Mann und kegeln seit Jahren in unserem Stammlokal am Markt. Leider können wir dadurch den zunehmenden Verfall der Gaststätte und die Inkompetenz der verantwortlichen Personen beobachten. Immer öfter ist die Küche geschlossen, das Kölsch ungenießbar, das Personal hilflos überfordert und die Stimmung schlecht. Bei unserem letzten Kegelabend nun für uns das Ende der Fahnenstange erreicht, da trotz Reservierung der Kegelbahn um 20 bis 0 Uhr zehn Minuten vor Beginn das Lokal geschlossen wurde mit der Begründung „oben keine Gäste mehr, Abrechnung wird gemacht, euer kegeln muss ausfallen!“ Gott sei Dank konnten wir kurzfristig mit 14 Mann auf der Kegelbahn im Waldschlößchen unterkommen. Dort wurden wir herzlich empfangen, das Kölsch hat geschmeckt und das Essen war super. Können wir nur empfehlen ! Das Äädjeschoss am Markt ist für uns als Kegelclub, bestehend mit Jungs aus dem Dorf, die über Jahre hinweg Umsatz ohne Ende als Club oder privat Personen eingebracht haben gestrichen! Ein Saftladen vom allerfeinsten! Wir waren dort das letzte Mal Gäste. Wenn ihr einen schönen Abend verbringen wollt, geht auf keinen Fall ins Äädjeschoss am Markt!!

I have been visiting this restaurant regularly for many years, whether privately to have a beer or with family and customers to have something to eat. I've never been disappointed. However, I have to say that there are some negative experiences every now and then. The majority are due to the service and the staff. This actually varies depending on the staff there and there is still room for improvement in the times here. You could get more out of it. I would also like a small children's corner. It is a pub where many families with children are guests. The food is always perfect, I have rarely eaten such good steaks, pizzas and burgers in a pub. The store also has a good monopoly position. In BBT (Brüggen-Balkhausen-Türnich) it is the only pub with good food and a beer garden. Keep it up……but also like to stay on the ball. I always enjoy coming back!

Was there for lunch. Currywurst with fries, which were very tasty + Cola not 10 €. Homemade fries and sausage from Remagen. Can't complain. Nice service and nice ambience in the interior.

Ordered food online. Schnitzels were big but also extremely dry. The pasta sauce tastes like a cheap sauce from the discount store. Conclusion: Dog was very happy about two schnitzels and the noodles saw the bin from the inside. Even one star is still too kind.

I've eaten there with my partner several times and can only recommend the schnitzel with fries. It was always very tasty and freshly prepared. We literally love the schnitzels. The staff has always been very nice and accommodating. 👍🏻 We will definitely come back.

Unfassbar nachgelassen Salat ist nur ein Viertel viel zu nass nicht gekühlt die Pizza ist kaum belegt viel zu dünn die Getränke sind warm und die Preise viel zu teuer ganz grausam schade dass ich das machen muss aber nach dem dritten Mal bestellen muss ich das leider mal sagen extra Soße bestellt nur halbe Soße bekommen und so weiter

Years ago we really enjoyed eating and ordering there. But a year ago we had an unpleasant experience with the delivery service - after two hours we called and apparently the order didn't go through online. When it was delivered the order was also incorrect. We tried again today and the order only arrived after two hours and two calls to the driver. We only live a few minutes away and the driver then said that he drove to Hürth because he wasn't given the full address of the restaurant When the driver arrived we also felt very sorry for him because we were very upset and he didn't even get enough information to do his job properly It's unbelievable and a real shame because the food is/was always good. We will now really never order or go there again. Really sad Btw food was of course cold when we arrived

Tested despite average overall rating because it was personally recommended. You have to rate the service rather poorly, not because the service present was bad, but because it was alone for the entire restaurant. I hope the young man is handsomely rewarded for what he is doing to himself. But it's good to go in front of the only waiter today 👍. The ambience is extremely expandable, but the most noticeable and unnecessary thing are the countless cables that are exposed on the terrace on the house facade. A good electrician should invest a day there and that makes a completely different impression. Four stars are based on the performance of the individual waiter and the great food. The schnitzel was great in terms of price-performance ratio, the sauce was served separately upon request (I would recommend the restaurant as a standard if you want to bring your breading crispy to the guest) and the hit were the fries, you rarely get such delicious fries. I recommend the shop, but I definitely recommend eating there before peak times, then you will significantly shorten the waiting time and have one less problem that many people complain about here.

The service was hopelessly overwhelmed, so we got our food (bruscetta and schnitzel) one after the other. The bruscetta were decorated with balsamic dressing (!) and prepared quite simply. I took a schnitzel because there was a large selection of it on the menu. Naively because they are so good and often in demand. The schnitzel was fried and previously dipped in liquid breading, then drowned in a hollandaise sauce from the bag. Loveless, careless and tasteless. It was cheap and a lot... that's also a criterion for some people🙈

We only recently moved to Balkhausen and have always had our food delivered. The pizzas and the children's menu were always delivered quickly and hot. Pizza dough and toppings (for example Suzuk and salami with jalapenos) tasted excellent. We were particularly surprised that even the fries delivered with the children's menu (nuggets) were still crispy. At other restaurants, these are often sloppy after delivery or taste sticky. When we ate there yesterday, we were thrilled again. Price and performance are definitely right. The salad buffet offers a delicious selection of crunchy vegetables and salad with various sauces etc. My husband had a large (300g) steak that was cooked to perfection (medium plus) and was also very tender. The herb butter is obviously fresh and homemade. You could tell this from the fresh red onion pieces. The pizza was also generously topped and delicious. The waitress was also friendly and quick. We thought it was particularly great that when we wanted to order bread and butter, she pointed out that we would be given pizza rolls and herb butter in advance anyway. We have experienced this differently in other restaurants. Thank you! We would love to come back and have already advertised!

We have ordered several times now. It's great that you can have it delivered to Bergheim Rarely have we ordered such a DELICIOUS meal. Our first choice. Schnitzel top Salad fresh and delicious Fries are awesome - homemade. And the spar ribs are my best recommendation. Delicious. If we order again, it will definitely be from you.

Rarely good staff, actually a gold mine.

Nothing against understaffing, but after more than half an hour there was still no service. Terrible. An assessment is not possible because nothing came.

Unfortunately not so good, the wait was far too long, drinks were empty for 30 minutes and no one asked us if we wanted to drink, then I ordered new drinks and we had to wait again, after I asked if we could get something else to drink, we were told We were told that there weren't enough staff. After so many years of management, you know what staff is needed and when, so I shake my head. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back and recommending it to others.

There were also rolls with butter and access to the salad buffet. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the terrace under the parasols. The ambience inside is OK, but not a highlight. The prices are exceptionally good! An absolute recommendation for hungry people.

This restaurant is getting very old. The furnishings are typical of a pub and quite dark. If you like it, you feel comfortable, I prefer bright rooms. There is, for me, an unpleasant smell in the restaurant, a bit musty. The owner tries very hard, always offers new promotions, like cakes from 11 a.m., but somehow it doesn't fit. The food is ok. but no more. Enthusiasm is different...

When making the reservation, I expressed a desire to be able to sit outside and asked to organize a bouquet of flowers for my wife. I was very pleased that all of my wishes were fulfilled to our complete satisfaction. The bouquet you arranged for us was really beautiful and exactly within the stated budget. It was perfect and made my wife very happy. The table was also excellently prepared: decorated with a pretty tablecloth and loving details, it created a festive and romantic atmosphere that made our special day even more unforgettable. The entire team was extremely friendly and accommodating. From the greeting to the farewell we felt completely comfortable and welcome. The service was attentive and professional without being intrusive, which contributed to a relaxed and enjoyable evening. We loved this experience so much that we will definitely come back. We waited 2 hours for two schnitzels with fries. After 30 minutes, the Lieferando app said that the food had been delivered. After 1 hour 15 I called again and asked and was told the driver had just left... Then it took another 45 minutes for the food to arrive! The distance is 6km. Unfortunately, when the food came, we realized that the fries were already “finished” or actually not at all. They were cold and sticky and rubbery on the outside and almost raw on the inside, which was a shame because they looked really tasty and promising. One schnitzel was good, the second one was unfortunately quite oily but OK. All in all, in our experience, unfortunately not a recommendation.

Great restaurant/pub. Food A1 (had schnitzel, pizza and salad), waiters are friendly and attentive. Depending on how crowded it is, you may have to wait 5 minutes - but that's perfectly fine. Highly recommended and definitely worth a visit! :)

Different menus with different prices in them. It doesn't work at all. I experienced exactly the same thing a year ago. Food standard. Frozen schnitzel with oily fried potatoes. White wine glass with red wine stains as it ran down. Pretty disgusting.

Bad service. Some of the food we ordered was not available, we were informed of this by telephone after ordering. Unfortunately, I couldn't change my mind quickly. Then it was asked whether the second meal should be made. No... we want to eat together and I have to think about it first. Then a cancellation was suggested. I did that. When asked what would happen to the payment that had already been made, they were very briefly told that it would be returned via PayPal. That was on April 28th. Since then I'll be waiting. There is no response to emails and the boss cannot be reached by phone. 47€ for nothing. Great deal for him. Outrageous... and you don't know what to do anymore. There's no way I'm going to spend another cent there and eat something. This store is not recommended!!!!!

I wish it was in my village ❤️ Every village wants something like the Äädjeschicht. A mixture of restaurant, football bar, beer garden with charm, and good and very rich food. No frills, honest and down to earth. Add a generous dose of local color and the overall package is perfect and invites you to linger. The schnitzels are great in two respects. Absolute recommendation for anyone who likes it hearty and cozy. Unfortunately, the store probably suffers from a lack of staff and is therefore not open every day.

Rarely have we been served so poorly (unprofessional and chaotic), there is no drinks menu, the Sprite is stale, we got the cutlery ourselves and the table top was not recognizable as such... these are just a few small things... the food was good for that OK, unfortunately I couldn't get it out. We were there with the voucher book, the schnitzel chili cheese was split up when paying, the sauce was billed separately at €3.90, even though it was listed as a dish on the menu. All dishes only come with salad, side dishes have to be ordered separately, kind of a rip-off. The voucher book was actually intended to serve as advertising, but here it's the opposite.

A small cafe/restaurant. It was one of the few restaurants open on May 1. It was a disorganized evening in the restaurant. The waiter didn't know where to walk and the bartender didn't know what to do. Took the initiative by ordering at the bar. Within 15 minutes there were delicious (large) schnitzels on the table and a hamburger for our daughter. Delicious food. At checkout (not expensive) the waiter admitted that the service was not great. The fact that you admit that is great!! All in all, a delicious meal. Worth repeating.

A bit surprising that the salad and packaging weren't also fried. I've never seen a burger paddy as black and hard as a board, but you never stop learning. A sandwich with butter has more to do with a burger than this lump. The kitchen reminds me of “The main thing is a large selection, but nothing done right.”

Delicious and great value for money

Unfortunately, despite reserving the bowling alley over the phone over a month ago, we were sent home. Apparently our reservation was not found and the train was booked three times. We would have liked to spend several evenings bowling there, unfortunately we weren't granted this. They should coordinate the organization better so that something like this can't happen again.

Das war meine letzte Bestellung. Wie kann man so dreist sein und zusätzliche Kosten für eine Anmerkung "bitte ausreichend Sauce" fordern, die deswegen geschrieben wurde weil oft zu wenig Sauce auf dem Gericht ist? Ich habe bei fast jeder Bestellung diese Anmerkung gemacht weil wenn nicht war es einfach zu wenig für ein riesen Steak mit Bratkartoffeln. Ich habe wie gewohnt bestellt und plötzlich ohne mich vorher anzurufen und zu informieren verlangt ihr 3€ mehr. Daraufhin habe ich erstmal die Rechnung kontrolliert. Danach angerufen und mir wurden 3-4 verschiedene Sachen erzählt. Am Ende war der Chef auch nicht zu sprechen und ich hätte ja "bitte eine extra Portion Sauce" verlangt. Nein, ich habe für ausreichende Sauce gebeten wie sie sonst auch war! Man sagte es wäre so auf den Bon aber in meiner Bestellung ist diese Wortwahl nicht gefallen. Man sagte man könne mir nicht helfen und das vielleicht etwas falsch verstanden wurde ect ect ect. Schlussendlich meinte der Herr er übernimmt die drei Euro und ich soll den Preis zahlen der auf MEINER Rechnung steht. Die drei Euro jucken mich nicht, mir geht es ums Prinzip. Ihr könnt nicht einfach eine Anmerkung (die seit Monaten die gleiche ist) plötzlich zusätzlich aufrechnen und das dann noch mit einer falschen Bemerkung die nie getätigt wurde rechtfertigen. Das Essen ist immer lecker und ich habe gerne bestellt. Das hat sich jetzt aber erledigt.

Phew. Now I was so shocked that I forgot to take a photo. Man, that was a big portion. Served on a pizza plate. I had a schnitzel something with Switzerland. Anyway, baked with ham, cheese and hash browns. The fun cost €17.90 with fries and salad from the buffet. The shock was what kind of meat a Kawennsman got. The friendly waitress delivered the food with the joke “but eat it all up”. But no chance. The Viennese is exactly the same size and costs €12.90. In any case, it is very inexpensive. The meat was very good, nice fibers and not too thin. Very tasty fried. I would say in clarified butter, the browning was too uneven for a deep fryer. What can I say, I'll definitely take a photo next time I visit. This is an absolute insider tip, even after the price increase at the turn of the year. So let's go there again.

Leider ist es jetzt schon mehrfach vorgekommen dass bei den Bestellungen Dinge fehlten trotz Zusage dass es bei der nächsten Bestellung verrechnet wird fehlte bei der nächsten Bestellung wieder zwei Kids Menüs und haben bis heute nichts verrechnet bekommen sondern den vollen Preis bezahlt für Dinge die wir nicht bekommen haben. Das Essen ist mega lecker und die Preis-Leistung stimmt auch aber leider ist der Service absolut nicht mehr hinnehmbar weshalb wir uns entschieden haben dort nie wieder zu bestellen.

Wir wollten online bestellen und abholen. Online Bestellung klappte nicht. Dann dachten wir altmodisch anrufen wird es richten, leider nein. Man muss über die Website bestellen. Optionen wie ohne Käse waren ein großes Problem, sowohl telefonisch als auch per Website. Wir sind dann schließlich persönlich zur Bestellung gefahren. Dann kannte man die Namen der eigenen Produkte nicht und fertigte auch noch falsche Pizzen. Ein riesen Chaos!

Essen ist lecker und bodenständig. Auch zum liefern sehr gut. Es wäre schön, wenn man das Trinkgeld von Lieferando auch an die Fahrer weitergeben würde. Man gibt extra Trinkgeld über Paypal, weil man kein Bargeld bei der Lieferung hat.

Hatte nur einen Late und darum kann ich das Essen nicht bewerten. War aber gut besucht zu dem Zeitpunkt das spricht für sich

Ganz klar 5 Sterne!!! 11-23 Uhr! Kneipenkarakter mit guter Küche vermischt, was uns total gut gefallen hat. Hier gibt es eine sehr gute Karte, die auch auf einen Mittagstisch angepasst wurde. Top Preise, top Essen und nette Bedienung!!! Keine Drohung, sondern ein Versprechen, wir kommen wieder 😊
