We went bowling yesterday with a group of 20. Okay, the room is a bit dated, but the food and the really nice and always attentive waiter more than made up for it. We were all completely satisfied and happy. We'll definitely be back. We haven't had such great service in a long time.

The food is prepared with FRESH 🍅🥒 ingredients. Really, really delicious 👍👍👍👍👍. The only downside is the slightly longer delivery time (a good hour). However, this is understandable given the fresh preparation and the distance involved... So, all in all, great, we'll definitely order again...

Good food served by friendly staff! The value for money is very good, as the portions are truly enormous! If you can't finish your portion, you can have the rest packed up. That's quite normal there. The pub atmosphere is a bit dated, but that's okay.

We ate here for the first time. The staff are all super friendly and accommodating. The salad buffet is fresh and delicious, you get free warm rolls with homemade herb butter, and the schnitzels are truly amazing. Super-large portions, fantastic sauces, and delicious side dishes. The pizza base was still raw, it was white, the onions were also raw, we ate them and then threw them away, it was an outrage.

The two of us went there for lunch on Sunday 😀. We received a very warm welcome and were able to choose a table since it wasn't busy around 12:00 PM. As for the food, which consisted of schnitzel with side dishes and salad, we can only say "recommend it 👍". Portion size, taste, price, everything was top-notch, and we deserve 5 stars. Keep it up and thank you very much!!!

First of all, nothing against the food when it's served. After well over an hour and a half, we politely asked whether we could expect our food that day, but we were flat-out lied to and told that there were so many outside deliveries to be processed that unfortunately it couldn't be done any faster. If they had said something went wrong, okay, we would have understood. But since tables that arrived an hour after us had already finished munching, such lies are unacceptable. Then we were forced to take the food, which was now hastily brought out of the kitchen, with us. Unreasonable, because we wanted fresh food and not soggy pizza and soggy fries after a twenty-minute walk home. We could have just ordered a delivery service. For us, one thing is clear: NEVER AGAIN!

The food was quite good, but the service unfortunately left a lot to be desired. The waiter massively overestimated his ability to clear the table (used cutlery fell down several times, including on my pants), asked if he could "finally clear the table," and spilled a lot of drinks. It's a shame, really, because, as I said, the food was quite good.

The food arrived quickly, was hot, and very tasty. The driver was also very friendly. The only drawback was that the kiddie box should perhaps have been packed separately with the sauces and Capri Sun. Unfortunately, the mayo had curdled due to the heat, and the drink packet was inedible. Otherwise, we are very satisfied.

A charmless ready-made platter! We treated ourselves to a large schnitzel platter in the restaurant on the ground floor today – or at least we thought so. They served a collection of industrially prepared components, straight from the refrigerated section and lacking any culinary pretensions. Cheese galore, but none with any character. The sauces? Clearly from a tetra pack. Potato gratin, fried potatoes – everything tasted like it had been warmed up and pre-packaged. There was a bit of cranberry sauce, but that was it. No salad, no fresh side dish, unless you count the lemon. We complained politely – but there was no response. No questions, no consideration, no comment. Just… nothing. The ambiance? Yes, it's really quite nice. Unfortunately, that alone isn't enough for a positive conclusion.

We ordered it there for the first time today. We're deducting a star because the delivery took over an hour and a half. We ordered several schnitzels and spaghetti, and everything was perfect, super tasty, and HOT. The place was obviously very busy, which we understand, but when you haven't eaten in 10 hours, you're pretty addicted to waiting. Bottom line: we would order again.

We were there on June 14, 2025, and were not disappointed. The Hollo Bolo schnitzel with fries and the gluten-free Fiona pizza were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we only managed half. We often take advantage of the lunch specials and are always impressed. The food is excellent at great prices, and Sabrina, who almost always serves us, is simply fantastic. She's extremely competent, fast, friendly to the guests, and always concerned about their well-being. We're happy to come back again and again.

The food—especially the schnitzel—was absolutely GREAT!😍 The service was a bit sloppy, but the inconveniences that occurred there were handled professionally!👌 The salad bar, while small, offers something for everyone's taste (leaf salads, corn, peppers, coleslaw, beets, light/red coleslaw, chickpeas, cucumbers, etc., and a wide selection of sauces). The ambiance is pleasant despite the proximity to the street. They also tried to ensure that those who were already celebrating a bit more boisterously and loudly due to the raised noise level didn't disturb the other guests too much.😅 One point of criticism, however, remains regarding the availability of products: the fries were sold out. The restaurant owner should ensure that sufficient quantities of all food items are available, even on holidays. It would have been understandable that the meat would be sold out, but every restaurant should have fries in stock, even on holidays. (You almost feel sorry for the employees, passing on such information to the customer 😉.) Despite the criticisms, overall, highly recommended and we'd be happy to go again!👍

We spent a lovely evening here on the terrace. The food is generously sized and delicious. All main courses include a salad from the salad bar. Side dishes (fries, fried potatoes, potato gratin, etc.) are available for an additional charge.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of the food. But the lunch menu is really good and affordable. 300g steak with side dish and salad €15.90. Excellent, perfectly medium. And our little companion got a piece 😇. Super friendly service, too. Definitely recommend it 👍 we'll be back.

The food was really good for the price. The lunch menu is unbeatable in terms of price. That's why we went there. The service was catastrophic. I come from the restaurant industry myself and know that you have bad days sometimes... but it was so disorganized when there are few customers... the waiters don't even know the menus and want to add prices even though the menus say otherwise... When we pointed it out, it was okay... Two minutes later, another waitress came and wanted to take our order, apparently there was no agreement between the waiters... We were given a napkin with our meal... At some point during the meal, I went inside and said that one napkin wasn't enough and we needed another one. Then we were given another one!... I then mentioned that she had seen that we were there with a small child - the woman behind us was already smiling about the situation... I didn't find it all that funny... Unfortunately, the lady also had real language problems taking some orders, and it was rather stressful until everyone had ordered what we wanted... (3 people). Her colleague with black hair was in a mood like it's been raining for seven days. A friendly smile is out of place. But with both of them... we had to wait longer to pay, and in the meantime, other people were being checked out/rechecked, and we were forgotten. She finally came back when she saw that our plates were empty. All in all, the service was really not pleasant in terms of politeness. There's probably still a lot of organizational work to be done there. Although the food was really delicious and the price was really good (€30 for 3 lunches and 3 drinks), we probably won't be coming back. I can cook at home... when I go out to eat, I want to be able to enjoy it. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible. What a shame!

Ordered food via Lieferando. After two hours we asked where our food was... The lady on the phone said that the order had unfortunately been lost... She had to talk to the boss.... Called back after 5 minutes... The food was prepared for her again and brought straight away... 5 minutes later message on Lieferando your order was canceled... Then you sit there and see what you can eat... Unfortunately it's much too late now...

I can also share the negative reviews regarding the service. Were there last week after renovation. When entering the beer garden, we immediately noticed that the glasses at several tables were empty. We then decided to go straight to the counter. The counter was manned by two employees. However, we were not noticed because there was a lot of discussion. I then called attention to myself and ordered two drinks, which the employee noted, but nothing happened. When I asked again after several minutes, a gentleman took pity on preparing the two drinks. In between, a waitress came out of the kitchen with two meals, but didn't know what to do with them, and a colleague also shrugged her shoulders. The waitress then went into the beer garden at the left exit, but came back with the food because she hadn't found anyone to take it and then tried her luck again at the main exit into the beer garden and then after a long time, when the food was probably already quite cold, she found someone who had ordered. A guest also came to the bar with his empty glass from the beer garden to have it refilled, since no one outside was looking. Last but not least, we wanted to pay, which turned out to be not that easy. The employee behind the counter had to get someone else to do this, which again took several minutes, and this employee then did it again I typed around on a device similar to a cell phone for a long time to ultimately get 5 drinks. It's a shame that one of the last bars in town doesn't invite you to come back because of the service...

We were there on Saturday, very good from the food to the service. However, the conditions of the voucher book were not adhered to (second main course free) and there was no bill. When asked, they promised to take care of it, but they haven't responded since then. No answer even after repeated requests.

Unfortunately very disappointing. I ate here today with my family, a total of 8 people. We reserved a table and were served nicely at the beginning. The order was taken quickly, 4x schnitzel with fried potatoes, Cesar's salad, spagetti al olio, spagetti pesto and pizza funghi with corn. Unfortunately, the food took a long time to arrive even though the shop was empty. After about 45 minutes the first 4 orders came, schnitzel with Cesar's salad, the rest were still waiting. The first ones were already halfway through their schnitzel when me and my daughter got the pasta dish. Unfortunately, it was absolutely dry and the spaghetti had a pretty hard consistency, making the food inedible. There was hair in my daughter's plate that couldn't be overlooked. The food should have been returned straight away, but unfortunately that was too unpleasant for my daughter. My appetite was gone and my daughter left the food. After everyone had basically finished eating, the last meal arrived, the pizza. The easiest thing of all.... Unfortunately the last guest hardly had any appetite left. We were not given a reason for the late meal. I'm sorry, but a good chef has to be able to ensure that people receive their food at the same time when they order. And the problem with the hair is an absolute NO GO! When paying, I addressed all the points, especially the problem with the hair in the food. They apologized, but you still had to pay full price for the meal. We were offered a drink on the house, but we didn't need that anymore. For such a price you would have wished for something much better. For us it will be the last time here, we won't come again...

We reserved the bowling alley for about 20 people on a Saturday evening. The evening before, I received a message on my voicemail informing me that the store would be closed the next day. No reason was given, such as staff shortages or something similar. So we stood there on a Saturday with 20 people in front of a closed door and hungry bellies. I also asked for a small buffet that day. I was assured twice that the boss would contact me but nothing happened. The service here really leaves a lot to be desired. I can't say anything about the food because, as mentioned, we were in front of a closed door. If you look on the Internet, you often read that on certain days everything is fully booked or that you can no longer order food. This urgently needs to be improved. It was really annoying. We will not recommend the restaurant...

Disappointing experience at our family celebration We celebrated a birthday with about 15 people and were unfortunately very disappointed. The celebration was supposed to start with coffee and cake, but there were already problems here: the tables were carelessly put together, so the lighting was inadequate. There was also a lack of cake plates, cake forks and cups, so some guests had to eat from large dinner plates and with really tiny forks. The cleanliness of plates and cups also left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, things didn't get any better at dinner - several dishes we had ordered, including burgers, were suddenly no longer available. Although we pointed out the shortcomings to the staff, there was no real solution or apology. The only comment was that today was Sunday and all the shops were closed and you couldn't buy anything new. We wanted much better organization and friendlier service for a planned celebration. What a shame! And we paid so much money for that. Just disappointing.

Well, unfortunately that was nothing, I was there on Saturday evening with 6 people, the companion ordered lovely wine, Oh sorry, it's out, they're shopping at the moment, the companion would like to order pizza, Oh sorry, not today, they're shopping, there are people at the next table wanted bread with the salad, sorry it's out (I guess they were shopping), the dressing bottles at the salad bar were almost empty, so you had to really squeeze out the rest (they were Definitely buy dressing) ...Just an example of what went wrong, no, I hadn't imagined it like that, food was ok, we were full but given the prices I expected a little more, for the first and last time for me ...

If you are traveling in Kerpen, I can highly recommend the Äädjegeschoß am Markt. The atmosphere is totally cozy, perfect for spending a relaxing evening. Added to this is the super nice and attentive service, who really goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The schnitzels in particular are a real highlight – juicy, tasty and available in many different variations. No matter whether classic with cream sauce, hunter style or something more unusual, there is really something for every taste. The portions are decent, so you're guaranteed to go home full and happy. The prices are fair and the quality is convincing across the board. If you're looking for good food in a relaxed atmosphere and with great service, then you should definitely try Äädjeschicht at the market!

Today we repeatedly waited an underground long time for delivery (2 hours and 45 minutes!!!) One half was wrong, the other half was missing, world class!!! That's what you want after waiting almost 3 hours. For us this was 1000% the last order. Thanks for nothing!!!

Unfortunately you have to give 1 star to be able to write a review. Since we had a problem with the delivery service a few months ago, I had ordered a table for several people to eat last night (this was also mentioned on the phone). The fact that only what was free on Nussbaumallee wasn't the problem. But then you get there and are told that the one in Nussbaumallee is currently... No food at all was offered, which was the big deal. For us, and the other people who were there, the shot died in every respect. You won't see us again as guests. It's actually a shame, because in the future we wanted to rent the bowling alley regularly with a larger group and then also want to eat food there. We will then do it in a more reliable location.

Unfortunately there was no response to our email.... We reserved the bowling room for about 10 people on Christmas Day, so far everything was fine. We were given menus and everyone chose something appropriate. When it came to ordering, we were told that there were no steaks, burgers or pizzas. So we had to choose something again from the very limited selection. This information would have been very helpful when handing out the menu and would not have made the order even longer. We were told it might take a little longer, which was fine with us. When the food was finally served, it sometimes arrived with a long delay. About half of the dishes were cold and therefore inedible for us. Of course, we complained about this immediately (the service staff checked the condition of the food with hand samples). After two suggestions that were of no interest to us, we were offered to prepare the cold dishes again. This would have meant another significant delay in the planned meal together and we just wanted to go home as soon as possible. The dishes served cold were also fully charged and paid for by us. Only the use of the bowling alley was not calculated for the period, which was out of proportion given the situation. The friendly service staff recommended that we contact us via email. This happened that same evening.

The four of us ate here for the first time today, having ordered once recently. The steak was an absolute delight, cooked to a medium medium, it almost fell apart in your mouth. The spare ribs came off the bone like a dream. The grill plate also excelled from piece to piece. The tenderest medallion followed by crispy bacon, chicken breast and another best piece of steak. The freshness of the schnitzel and the art of frying a schnitzel were really noticeable. But the fries also surpassed everything. Super crispy, hot and very, very tasty. The ladies in service were attentive and always friendly and accommodating at all times. We'll definitely be back.

Unsere Onlinebestellung über Lieferando wurde bestätigt mit einer Lieferzeit von 45 - 55 Minuten, Bezahlung erfolgte online......nach 3 Stunden !!!!!! Wartezeit ist uns dann der Kragen geplatzt ....wir haben 6x versucht das Äädjeschoss telefonisch zu erreichen....es wurde weggedrückt oder ignoriert. Dann haben wir Lieferando kontaktiert, kurze Zeit später meldete sich dann ein Auslieferungsfahrer !!!!!! ob wir bestellt hätten und das Essen noch geliefert bekommen wollen, was wir natürlich abgelehnt haben.... Die knapp 50.- € Bestellwert wurden belastet und eingesackt... Gegenwert NULL !! ...nun sind wir mit Lieferando in Kontakt um wenigstens das Geld nach dieser, bereits mehrfachen Enttäuschung zurückbekommen. Essen war immer sehr lecker und ausreichend, leider hat man die Inkompetenz und Hilflosigkeit der Mitarbeiter sowie das mangelnde Fachwissen immer wieder zu spüren bekommen. Danke, nie wieder Äädjeschoss in Kerpen - Türnich......das Maß ist nun definitiv voll.....

We had reserved the bowling alley. We were told right at the beginning that there were only two of them today. At the start at 5 p.m. things were still going fairly well. After food was ordered, you could go to the salad bar. Unfortunately, this was already heavily looted and it took a while for supplies to arrive. Then 2 of the 12 meals we ordered came. There were missing supplements. Well, nothing happened for half an hour. More food arrived, with the wrong side dishes. 1 completely wrong meal was brought and one was completely missing. It would be the chef's turn to cook a new dish. After about 1 hour we were informed that the missing food would no longer come. After a long time back and forth it finally came after 2 hours, of course with the wrong side dishes. Not to mention the longer waiting times for drinks, to the point where we had to get them ourselves. When we ordered, the waitresses were annoyed and sometimes even rolled their eyes. An absolute no-go. The two of them couldn't do anything about it, the whole store was packed. Nevertheless, kindness is just part of it, no matter how things go. The boss has to do something very quickly, otherwise things won't go well for long. It's a shame, the food was actually delicious. But I was there for the first and unfortunately the last time.

Wir, 4 Gäste, wollten gestern mit unseren Freunden, welche extra aus Belgien angereist sind, an dem für 18:30Uhr reservierten und auch bestätigten Tisch, einen gemeinsamen, schönen und vorweihnachtlichen Abend genießen. Dieses wurde leider seitens der Mitarbeiter(inen) sabotiert, da der reservierte Tisch an eine andere Familie abgegeben wurde. Der Hinweis auf die Reservierung wurde mit den Worten " Es tut uns leid, aber da ist wohl eine Überreservierung passiert, man könne uns nur eine Runde auf Kosten des Hauses anbieten" kommentiert. Die Mitarbeiterin wusste aber sofort welcher Tisch "überreserviert" wurde. Als man daraufhin bemerkte, dass dies wohl nicht sein kann, teilte man uns mit, man hätte mit den Gästen gesprochen, sie würden nur noch gerade bestellen und dann, sobald sie fertig gegessen hätten den reservierten Tisch sofort freigeben. Unseren Unmut haben wir dann erneut zum Ausdruck gebracht, was daraufhin von der zweiten Mitarbeiterin mit den Worten erneut kommentiert wurde, " Wir können nix dafür, man würde uns auf Kosten des Hauses eine Runde ausgeben, sollte uns das nicht passen, hätten wir ja die Möglichkeit das Lokal zu verlassen". Einen solchen Umgang mit Gästen habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir haben daraufhin das Lokal verlassen und einen Imbiss aufgesucht, wo die Mitarbeiter deutlich bessere Manieren haben. Schade dass man einen Stern geben muss. Null Sterne wären noch zu viel!! Selbstverständlich werden wir ihre Lokalität wärmstens empfehlen!

Yesterday we, 4 guests, wanted to enjoy a nice, pre-Christmas evening together with our friends, who came especially from Belgium, at the table that was reserved and confirmed for 6:30 p.m. Unfortunately, this was sabotaged by the employees because the reserved table was given to another family. The reference to the reservation was commented with the words "We're sorry, but there was probably an over-reservation, they could only offer us one round at the house's expense." The employee immediately knew which table was “over-reserved” because the guests seated there apparently didn’t have a reservation. When it was then realized that this probably couldn't be the case, we were told that they had spoken to the guests, that they would just order and then release the reserved table immediately as soon as they had finished eating. We then expressed our displeasure again, which was then commented on again by the second employee with the words, "We can't help it, they would buy us a round at the expense of the house, if we didn't like it, we would have it Possibility to leave the restaurant". I have never experienced such interaction with guests. We then left the restaurant and ordered food from a snack bar because we couldn't get a table in other restaurants. It's a shame that you have to give one star. Zero stars would be too many!! Of course, we will highly recommend your location!

It's a nice pub as it should be, and in a neighboring room there's a small restaurant where you can eat really tasty food for cheap. A little tight, but not uncomfortable. Absolutely recommended.

We order often and have always been very satisfied. Especially the schnitzels are great. Today we were dissatisfied for the first time. The fried potatoes were totally over salted (cook in love?). Plus there was actually more bacon and onions with a little potatoes.😉 Otherwise everything was great.

Well... An hour and a half wait for cold food... We warmed it up again, but you don't actually spend money on that... First experience unfortunately not so good... We probably won't order it again.. the estimated delivery time should be between 30-55 minutes... Too bad

Rarely have we been treated so poorly! We ordered 2 drinks and 2 pizzas plus pizza rolls. The pizzas came first after 40 minutes and then finally the drinks upon request. The edge of the pizza was so hard you could have easily broken a window. Other guests who came also left very quickly because there was no service. We were able to forget the second drink. So just a little tip: you either have fun working in the catering industry or you don't. At the end I received an “intermediate invoice” (paying taxes is not like that). Been there for the first and last time. My husband & I work in the service area ourselves. Picking up the guests when they receive the information “longer waiting time” would be a start here. You notice the unprofessionalism of the career changers!

Friendly service and great food. Over the years a bank in Türnich, Balkhausen and Brüggen. The food is delicious, even if you're very hungry, the plates are generous and the service has been perfect for years. The delivery times in the delivery service are reasonable and the food arrives at our home good and warm. My full marks for that too!!! TOP and keep it up!!!

Huge portions, the schnitzel is unbeatable

Food was really great! Had a schnitzel with fries and spicy sauce. Top top top. Ambience also very pleasant. More like a bar but exactly our taste. Service was super nice. However, it took a little long for our taste until the food was brought.

So, where do you start: ORDER! -You sometimes wait 3 hours instead of 60 minutes. - you get a call saying you don't have something, but you have to cancel the order yourself with Lieferando (why do you accept an order if you know you don't have it?) -Pizza rolls or herb butter etc. are often missing. It used to be good, but can no longer be ordered today. I wanted to order again after months and it was really bad. Ergo: Then just order somewhere else and no longer there. It's a shame actually, because the schnitzels are really great...

Wir sind ein Kegelclub mit 14 Mann und kegeln seit Jahren in unserem Stammlokal am Markt. Leider können wir dadurch den zunehmenden Verfall der Gaststätte und die Inkompetenz der verantwortlichen Personen beobachten. Immer öfter ist die Küche geschlossen, das Kölsch ungenießbar, das Personal hilflos überfordert und die Stimmung schlecht. Bei unserem letzten Kegelabend nun für uns das Ende der Fahnenstange erreicht, da trotz Reservierung der Kegelbahn um 20 bis 0 Uhr zehn Minuten vor Beginn das Lokal geschlossen wurde mit der Begründung „oben keine Gäste mehr, Abrechnung wird gemacht, euer kegeln muss ausfallen!“ Gott sei Dank konnten wir kurzfristig mit 14 Mann auf der Kegelbahn im Waldschlößchen unterkommen. Dort wurden wir herzlich empfangen, das Kölsch hat geschmeckt und das Essen war super. Können wir nur empfehlen ! Das Äädjeschoss am Markt ist für uns als Kegelclub, bestehend mit Jungs aus dem Dorf, die über Jahre hinweg Umsatz ohne Ende als Club oder privat Personen eingebracht haben gestrichen! Ein Saftladen vom allerfeinsten! Wir waren dort das letzte Mal Gäste. Wenn ihr einen schönen Abend verbringen wollt, geht auf keinen Fall ins Äädjeschoss am Markt!!

Very large quantities for men, okay for women. Rather intimidating. Fries take some getting used to but tasty (the potato peel is on). Price/performance ratio is very good
