Picasso in Freiburg im Breisgau

The pizza was ready in the time ordered and the staff was very friendly. Atmosphere is nice, you can sit comfortably inside and outside. The pizza is rolled out by hand and freshly topped. The mozerella pizza now costs 10€, I found the amount of toppings not so generous, but the taste was good. In my opinion, the dough could rise even longer and thus have a nicer/rounder taste.

We came from Spain and were staying at a nearby hotel. It was 8pm so nothing was opened but we saw this restaurant in google opened till 12am so we decided to go here. Best decission ever. We had a Pide Kebab, first time we knew about this food, is a turkish dish, similar to a pizza but with a different shape. It was absolutely delicious, and we were incredibly surprised at how cheap it is (the pide is very big also) as it was similar to price in food to places in Spain, which is not normal in Germany, even less with such quality food. Not only that but the treatment by the owner was superb, and seems the normal clientel we saw were super happy of the place. If I lived here I would visit every week! To anyone that visits Freiburg and stays in the ares, please come, best place to eat without a doubt.

Food very tasty. Already had pide, pizza and pasta as well as salad. Super nice service always and the owner is also very nice and attentive. For me the best pizzeria in Freiburg.

We were there yesterday and ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a Picasso special pizza. Both were very tasty. It was a bit annoying that pepperoni and artichokes were on the Picasso Special pizza, even though it wasn't on the menu, but that wasn't so tragic. That's why I can highly recommend the pizzeria. Next time we're in Freiburg we'll definitely stop by again.

Very great public viewing location during the European Championships, good service and high-quality food!

We were there for all the Germany games during the European Championships and today for the final. There was always a great atmosphere, the pizza was fresh and tasty and the service always had everything under control in a friendly manner, even in stressful moments. Sure, when it's as full as it was today, everything takes a little longer. Regardless, we really enjoyed the atmosphere here and would love to come back again and again. Baris and his team gave us a great public viewing time. Thank you for that.

Yesterday we had dinner with friends at Picasso's, it was really great. We watched the game yesterday and ordered something. The pizzas are very tasty and we always like the pide. I honestly liked it very hospitable and clean 6 out of 5 stars from me. Thank you for the good food and hospitality.

The food at Picasso was truly outstanding. The pide and the mixed salad in particular were very tasty and exceeded our expectations. The red-haired waitress was extremely nice and went out of her way to ensure we had a pleasant evening. Due to the higher volume, we had to wait almost an hour for our food. That didn't bother me personally. An unexpected and somewhat strange moment occurred at the public viewing. Some guests lit Bengalos at the table, which we found quite disturbing. Amazingly, the boss filmed the whole thing and didn't step in to stop it.

In my opinion, the Picasso is a mixture of a snack bar and a small restaurant. The selection of spaghetti dishes is very limited. I ordered one anyway. You can sit there comfortably enough. I had more of a snack bar feeling than a restaurant feeling. My table had a damp spot. From this I conclude that the tables are not wiped directly after the guests. The food was ready quickly enough and the quality was good. What I missed with a spaghetti dish was some bread. I thought that was an absolute shame. There was no music. The prices were ok. I would go there again if I happen to be nearby. But nothing where I would specifically go.

My parents were visiting at the weekend and we have been looking for a really good pizza in Freiburg for a long time. This time we finally found what we were looking for and were not disappointed. The reputation "we have Freiburg's best pide and pizza" precedes Picasso and is 100 percent accurate. Rarely have we eaten so well that we even asked for the pizza recipe. The salad was also really refreshing and well prepared. Huge praise to the kitchen, which really cooks with a lot of love. The pasta was really great too The service was great. We were welcomed personally by the boss and the service was very friendly and took excellent care of us. The Champions League final took place in the evening and there was a really great atmosphere. The beer garden is also very inviting. I'm looking forward to more great evenings there. We can only recommend the Picasso and will definitely come back

Delicious salad, pizza and pide. Everything freshly homemade with love, affordable prices, super nice innkeepers... gladly again.

Although the staff is not Italian, the taste of food was delicious and their improved tastes were good. They are very kind and flexible, they made pasta with 4 cheese although it was not in the menu. I thank all thw staff for their kindness.

So delicious! And finally pizzas that have a decent amount of toppings. Like homemade. I love the pizza veggie and the pide goat. The Green City salad is also super tasty. Come here with every visit I have. And my husband always likes to eat the spaghetti salmon cream. Already have our classics ;) It's also nice to experience a family atmosphere and be able to watch the pizzas and pies being prepared.

There would be 5 stars for the friendliness of the staff and the excellent food, pizzas and piden. However, the noise at lunchtime is gigantic, especially until around 1:30 p.m. It also seems to be a student bar, which I think is great about the operator. Children are welcomed just as much as adults. The fact that everything is piled up in front of the checkout because of orders and payments is very disturbing for the surrounding tables. The reservation was a bit difficult. I made a reservation online but unfortunately there is no way to get a feedback email, so I have to call again. Nevertheless, I would go there again!

Wahnsinnig gutes Essen und ein wirklich total herziger Empfang. Man fühlt sich dort sofort gut aufgehoben und der Chef höchstpersönlich gibt die Essenempfehlung. Wir sind dessen natürlich gefolgt und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Unbedingt die Pide Special ausprobieren! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das ist mein Lieblings Italiener. Außer dem Ambiente, das einen kleinen Stern Abzug von mir bekommt (das ist einfach Geschmacksache) stimmt einfach alles.

Nachdem wir bei unserer ersten Bestellung wohl einen schlechten Tag erwischt hatten, hat das ausgesprochen herzliche und bemühte Team uns heute sehr zuvorkommend 2 vegane Pizzen gemacht. Eine grundsolide vegane Pizza mit super leckerem Boden! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wow!! Ich war jetzt schon sehr oft hier im Picasso beim Abendessen und egal, ob ich Pizza, Sandwich oder Pide gegessen habe: alles war qualitativ hervorragend und sehr lecker! Der Inhaber ist sowohl aufmerksam und schnell im Service als auch immer freundlich und herzlich! Ein Juwel in Freiburg! 💎😊

picked up a mushroom pizza at lunch time here today. it was super busy but the service was still fast. Very smiley & friendly staff. The pizza was yummy too and price was reasonable. I will be coming back often!!! :-)

Schon so viele Jahre mit dem Auto und Fahrrad daran vorbei gefahren und nicht als Speiselokalität erkannt und das war ein Fehler. Super leckeres Essen, sehr sauber und mega symphatischer Inhaber und Personal...ein Besuch lohnt sich auf alle Fälle, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder

Hier war ich monatelang ein Stammkunde. So gut wie jedes Wochenende hier zum essen gegangen und hab die Pizzeria immer jedem weiter empfohlen. Karte mit Pide fand ich am besten. Der Teig ist einfach ein Traum. Letzendlich bereite ich mir immer mehr Essen selber. Hoffe, dass der nette Chef und der Koch sich deswegen keine schlechte Gedanken machen :-/

Der Pizzabäcker hat offensichtlich viel Liebe und Sorgfalt in die Zubereitung gesteckt und das merkt man sofort beim ersten Biss. Die Pizza war perfekt gebacken und hatte einen unglaublichen Geschmack. Ich war wirklich beeindruckt von der Qualität der Zutaten und dem Handwerk, das in jede einzelne Pizza gesteckt wurde. Das Personal war aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, und meine Bestellung wurde prompt geliefert. Die Preise waren angemessen und ich hatte das Gefühl, ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für das Erlebnis zu erhalten. Alles in allem war mein Besuch in dieser Pizzeria fantastisch und ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Ich empfehle allen, die nach einer qualitativ hochwertigen und authentischen Pizza suchen, einen Besuch in dieser Pizzeria. Sie werden definitiv nicht enttäuscht sein!

Waren zu dritt in der Mittagspause dort essen. Service war super, Essen kam sehr schnell und war super lecker. Können Pinsa, Pizza und Salat empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Bzw. Kollege Michael kommt dort regelmäßig zum Essen und hatte noch nie etwas zu beanstanden

Wir waren am Samstagabend da. Sehr gute knusprige Pizza mit dünnem Boden. Wir sind draußen gesessen und da ist die Straße einfach nah.
