As a person who’s visiting Heidelberg 3 times a year … also I am happened to be Thai 😊 I can say this is the best Thai restaurant in Heidelberg. Regardless the difficulties of sourcing the “authentic” ingredients, they bring out the best in every dishes. The service is also nice. Everyone is polite and humble.. the Thai way 🙏

The service was very slow, despite the fact that the place was not full. The three of us ordered coffees because we were making a short break, and we weren’t in the mood for food. What we got was 90% water, not coffee. The waiter didn’t seem to care at all, he immediately brought the bill and the POS for payment. Unfortunately, the food was very bland and not even hot enough. My boyfriend cooks much better. The wait for the food was over an hour, even though it was empty. Even the drinks were a long wait. My boyfriend had to exchange his fresh fork because it was dirty. It will be his first and last time there. What a shame.

Service could be better. The evening we were there (four of us), the team could have easily earned €200-300 or more if they had checked on the thirsty guests more often and served them despite their orders (it was 28°C, after all)! But the food seems to be the main focus—which is totally fine. We ended up drinking our beer and wine 20 meters away in the alley—so did the other guests 😉 but that's how it is in Germany, unfortunately 😐🥴

Unexpected dinner in Heidelberg, great family-run Thai food

The food was okayish. But the waiter who I also think is part owner was super rude. He was not rude once but multiple times even when we were asking for simple things like spoons and menus. This was the weirdest experience I have ever had having food in restaurants.

It's my favorite Thai restaurant in Europe. If you have a chance to go to Heidelberg, you must go eat.

Personal are I guess owners, a couple, very rude. They pass by you avoiding the eye contact so you can’t order for good 15 minutes, till I chased them. They gave me the menu, I asked how long to order, he took the menu, said something and disappeared again. When I insisted he came again and told me 30 min for ordering. A restaurant was closing in 50 minutes. Typical restaurant for tourists not providing decent service. I can’t judge about food.

We had some spring rolls and chicken satay to start with followed by duck in red curry and vegetables in green curry. All dishes were lovely and good portions as well. Just what we needef after a day hiking.

Had the opportunity to stop by and visit this city so we sat and ate at the restaurant. The taste is very good. The service is very good.

Wir waren zu viert hier Essen. Wir bestellten 3Vorspeisen; einmal die Sommerrolls mit Erdnussdip diese waren sehr lecker,dann die Frühlingsrollen welche aucht toal lecker waren und einmal den Papayasalat dieser war jedoch nicht wirklich gut,der Salat schmeckte total nach Fischsauce und auch Knoblauch fehlte! Als Hauptgericht hatten wir einmal die Ente welche total lecker war,einmal hatten wir das Poulet Süss-Sauer das war auch lecker und dann hatten wir gebtratenen Reis mit Garnelen,dieses Gericht war nicht wirklich gut! Der Reis war eher wie klebereis und überhaupt nicht knusprig wie es eigendlich bei gebratenem Reis sein sollte,auch hatte es nur etwa 3Garnelen drin,zuerst wurde uns auch noch ein Rotes Curry mit Rindfleisch gebracht obwohl wir dieses garnicht bestellt hatten! Die Bedinung war freundlich aber teilweisse leider nicht so aufmerksam…

It was one of the first flavors I tasted on my first trip abroad. Even though it was a new and different food culture for me, I think both the service and the food were of very high quality. The place is stylish and has an authentic location. We ordered “Massaman Gai”, “Gaeng Gari Gai”, “Tom Kha Gai”, “Phad Thai” and “Poh Pia Thord”. We liked them all very much. 👍

Das war das schlechteste Thaiessen das ich je hatte. Papayasalat roch nach Fisch( zu viel Fischsause).Gebratener Reis war Klebreis 4 Garnelen und zu viel Karotten und Erbsen. In gebratenen Reis : gehören : Eier ,Zwiebeln. Nie mehr gehe ich in dieses Restaurant zum Essen.

I ordered Pad Thai with tofu without eggs and then struggled with digestion for two days. The tofu tasted sour, but I thought maybe it was a different variety that I just didn't know about. If only I had listened to my sense of taste. The flat rice noodles were tasty, but the portion was too small and overpriced. I wasn't full despite the starter, I paid too much and also had problems with digestion. My husband ordered a rice dish with duck. He said that the duck was very tasty. He had no problems with digestion. The toilets also smelled when you entered them. But the service was very friendly.

Sehr professioneller und freundlicher Service. Küche verwendet laut Auskunft kein Glutamat-glaubhaft! Sehr üppige und pikante Speisen. Habe aber etwas die Schärfe vermisst. Aber man muss sich wohl nach dem Geschmack der Mehrheit der Gäste richten. Getränkeauswahl war auch in Ordnung. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier. Wenn mich der Weg wieder nach Heidelberg führen sollte, würde ich hier wieder einkehren.

Avoid this restaurant if you can, service is ok, but the food is just awful! All the food items we ordered came out incredibly oily, even the satay sauce had a thick layer of sunflower oil on top and the fried rice and noodles tasted more of oil than anything else. Thai food can be amazing, but not at this place.

Delicious Thai food in the heart of Heidelberg just between the bridge and old town entrance. My Thai girlfriend and I found the 5 dishes we ordered mouthwatering and tasting originally Thai. Service is humble and somewhat shy. Decoration is superb with beautifully carved wood tables. To enhance Thai atmosphere, it could be considered to replace the somewhat boring easy listening music. Prices are moderate and the Chianti wine is very enjoyable. We recommend this place.

The best location in all of Heidelberg, right in front of the old bridge! Why is only every third table here occupied on Saturday evening while all the other restaurants are overflowing? The answer follows: The food was ok so far, but the sauces were watery and that special something or the Thai footnote was missing for 70€ including a starter and drinks for two people. 😀 Service: We had to bring our own plates, napkins and cutlery... Unfortunately, I was left sitting in the restaurant for a long time with an empty glass and my dishes were cleared away while my partner was still eating! NO GO!!! 🥶❌ Ambiance: Fantastic on the outside thanks to the intersection location at the old bridge! A little simple on the inside, but that could be corrected with appropriate presentation and friendly and alert service! 🙏

We had a lovely evening in Phuket. We were shown a table without a reservation and later in the evening the restaurant was full. Attentive service. Food tasted very fine, food was served hot.

Was wir bekommen hatten war alles andere als typisch für Thailand. Bei den schärfe Hinweise mit 2 Chilis geht man auch von Schärfe aus, aber leider sehr mild. Curry gehören keine Kartoffeln rein im traditionellen… Pad Thai schmeckt normal auch anders und die anderen beiden hatten Menü bestellt. Da war die gleiche Soße wie beim Curry usw. Im Großen und Ganzen eine teuere Enttäuschung
