It was just very tasty. The beef broth alone was great. The spring roll was heavenly. The service was very friendly. The furnishings were simple but harmonious. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. Top.

Very tasty vegan Pho with fresh vegetables and tofu! There is a wide range of Vietnamese dishes and many vegan options too. The mango sorbet was delicious and the corn semolina and coconut dessert also tasted good, but took some getting used to. On Thursday at 6 p.m. we immediately got a table for two people. The atmosphere is cozy and informal. However, it can get a bit crowded and noisy when the restaurant is busy. The service was friendly and attentive. When we ordered we were asked whether we wanted coriander in the pho or whether we should leave it out. The food was served quickly and was very tasty. Payment is made at the back of the counter. Card payment is possible.

Phenomenal Pho. The best I know. Everything fresh, everything perfect. I eat here regularly. The only thing that is a bit high is the noise level when the house is full.

The food was very tasty and the portions were good, but the food smells were extreme throughout the restaurant. All items of clothing had to be put in the laundry immediately. This fact would stop me from visiting again. Please remedy the situation!

Food was good. Phox's famous soup could have been a little spicier and hotter.

Great food - we had a Pho and the satay skewers once. Both fantastic. The only point of criticism is the Togo variant because it is supposed to be sustainable as it is a kind of deposit system. It turned out to be difficult and so we didn't take our leftovers with us - I've already heard that from several customers and that's why I have doubts about its long-term success. Still 9/10 👍🏻

Very rich and abundant dishes. Several vegan options for both starters and main dishes, which are clearly identified, and all dishes have an allergen legend. I had stir-fried noodles with tofu, and it was very delicious! And the staff is very friendly and attentive.

Another Asian restaurant deserving of its rating. We had the beef pho which was surprisingly as authentic as you can have in Asia. We tried the homemade chicken nuggets and it was equally good. What took the crown was the rice, they got Asian quality rice and flavor right, which was surprising for Vietnamese cuisine especially when we talk about rice, the Korean Japanese Chinese cuisine should come out top.

I've eaten here twice with my boyfriend so far and all four vegan dishes we tried were very tasty.

I had a wonderful evening at Phox Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious - every dish was fresh and tastefully prepared. I was particularly impressed by the beautiful atmosphere, which is both relaxed and stylish. A big compliment also to the service team: The employees were consistently friendly, attentive and made sure that we felt completely comfortable. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and can recommend this restaurant to everyone! 5 out of 5 stars!

Hey... we came across the shop spontaneously and thought we would eat a normal pho, but when we saw all the awards on the wall and the proud price of 17€ for a pho, we expected a lot but only got a normal pho. Unfortunately, they are used to top quality from Berlin or Leipzig.

Super Pho in Düsseldorf. Die hühnerbrühe ist super würzig und frisch und auch die Tees und limonaden sind hausgemacht und sehr lecker. Atmosphäre ist sehr nett und gemütlich und das Haus ist schön und modern eingerichtet. Gerne wieder

Lunch on a Friday afternoon. This is a popular restaurant among locals and tourists, so I gave it a go. I started with the fresh spring roll with prawns. I think it was a nice starter, tho I rather have it with a different sauce than hoi sin. As main I've ordered the classic Pho Bo. The broth was good, but it was no longer piping hot. I think that they could have added more meat in it for that price. Also the slightly raw slices on top that should be cooked by the broth, could have been put in the bowl with more care. It was just a big lump which made the overlapping pieces not cook properly. I had to divide the slices. A little more love and care could have made it better. I also ordered the lemon tea and it was just OK.

I recently dined at Phox, and while I found the food delightful, I had mixed feelings about the overall experience. The flavors were fresh and creative, which I truly appreciated. However, as someone who cares deeply about the environment, I was disappointed with some of their sustainability policies. It’s wonderful when restaurants embrace eco-conscious practices, but in this case, it caused discomfort. We couldn’t finish our dishes because one of my friends was traveling and we needed to head to the train station. We asked for a container to take the leftovers, and they informed us they use Vytal, a reusable container system. However, we were told we needed to return the container or face a €10 charge per container through the app. We asked if there was an alternative since my friend wouldn’t be returning to the city, but unfortunately, there wasn’t. We took the food anyway, but later realized that not all restaurants listed in the app accept the Vytal containers. This turned out to be an inconvenience for us as customers, when the experience should have been enjoyable and seamless. While I enjoyed the meal, I hope Phox will consider reviewing and improving their approach to sustainability without compromising the customer experience. At the very least, clear communication about such policies in advance would help diners plan accordingly. This would elevate the dining experience and resonate more with environmentally-conscious diners like myself. A good restaurant with great food, but room for improvement!

We made a reservation at Phox for a Wednesday evening and can highly recommend the restaurant. Very nice service and overall well filled except for the last seat. We paid a total of around 80 for three people, which is very fair. Highly recommended

The price was expensive, but since all German restaurants are expensive, it didn't feel expensive. The rice noodles are really delicious. In particular, the meat is really soft and the soup tastes good. Especially the staff was friendly.

Llegamos bastante tarde a cenar, pero nos atendieron excelentemente y rápido. Pedimos un entrante a compartir que no tenían, luego otro que tampoco tenían, y al final fueron unos nuggets, que parecían albóndigas, pero con la salsita picante estaban buenos. Los principales fueron unos platos tipo sopa de ternera y vegetales y otro de pato y vegetales. Muy ricos

The service was very good. If I could I would like to give it 6 stars. Was there on a Tuesday and everything was great.

We mainly came here to try their banh khot but we ended up ordering other dishes as well. Please keep in mind that they only serve banh khot during specific hours of the day, so make sure to check their website before coming! The flavour was only okay and they weren't as crispy as we would have liked them to be. Their cha gio is probably the best dish we had there. Very crispy and they're huge! The pho & bun is so-so. Service was quite slow.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but you can clearly see the time pressure of the service. We were only given a table for a certain time slot and as soon as we had paid, the place was already filled. We didn't even have our jackets on! My dish tasted delicious, but unfortunately my colleague's Pho wasn't good at all, so he even got food poisoning. Sorry, but under these circumstances we cannot recommend the restaurant.

An acquaintance recommended this place to try when dropping by in Dusseldorf. Read some reviews and off I went, however avoided a strange circumstance by asking about card payment with either Mastercard or Visa, to which they advised it's applicable only for orders above 50€. Dinned solo, thus of I went to an ATM, and found one right arround the corner. Went back, they seated me, which is a nice touch. The menu, was not all that English friendly, unless you know some of the dishes, thus I order the fried spring rolls, the Pho BO and a couple of beers. A little bit disappointed that they don't serve 0,5 or at least Draught Beer, however two x 0,33 hit the spot just right. The food was incredible, especially the spring rolls, that crunchiness was 👌🏻🍺. About 10 minutes away from the Train Station, was an easy and convenient late dinner while traveling. Prices are moderate however the quality and quantity is there.

I made a reservation about 3 weeks in advance and received a very friendly welcome. We ordered a phox bowl and a chicken curry bowl. Both dishes were very tasty and authentically prepared. For drinks we had MS Phox cocktail with gin. It was super refreshing. The service team was very friendly and always very accommodating. For a nice evening with authentic Vietnamese food 🥣 a recommended restaurant.

My visit was rather spontaneous and even though it was very full around 2 p.m., I still managed to get a seat. Very friendly service, delicious food and my bun bowl with spring rolls was so big that I almost didn't pack it completely. Super tasty and really recommended! I'll be back :)

We ordered pho and tea, both were excellent. It's also practical that you can order a whole liter of homemade lemonade for the whole table. There are also clean toilets. The service was friendly and accommodating.

The first time I ate at a restaurant, I ordered mini pancakes. Because I had never eaten it, it didn't look hot, but when I bit into it, it was extremely hot, causing burns on the roof of my mouth and even breaking the skin. I think the food is very delicious, whether it is beef pho or mini pancake, but I suggest the waiter to remind guests that the mini pancake is very hot and should be eaten with caution. I also hope that the next customer will be careful not to get burned.

Erwarten Sie einen deutlich gehobenen Vietnamesen in netter Atmosphäre und freundlichem und schnellem Service. Die Qualität unserer Gerichte überzeugte. Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber ausreichend. Man sollte wissen, dass das Phox definitiv kein preiswertes Restaurant ist. Incl. unserer Getränke und etwas Tip waren wir schnell bei 70€. Kein Schnapper, aber gut!

By far the best Asian restaurant in Düsseldorf. The pho is by far better than any ramen around. The homemade nuggets are an absolute recommendation as a starter. In the picture you can see the dish Mi Kho with meat and it was really very good! PhoX is my personal insider tip in Düsseldorf!

Pleasantly busy. When we arrived it was packed. They asked to wait a moment and it was well worth the few minutes of waiting! We were kindly welcomed. And the food was sublime as we can expect from Vietnamese cuisine. Nice wine list too, by the way. Highly recommended.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Es waren noch ein paar Plätze drinnen und draußen frei haben uns am Fenster hingesetzt. Sehr nettes Personal und zuvorkommend. Hatten eine Vorspeise die sehr gut war und zwei Hauptgericht die sehr groß sind. Als kleiner Abschluss noch ein kleinen schnapps. Waren sehr zufrieden und würden auf alle fälle wieder hingehen.

One of the best Pho restaurants in Düsseldorf.

From the moment I walked in, something felt off. The waitress who greeted us was so unfriendly that it seemed as if our presence was a disturbance to her. No greeting, no smile—just a cold, distant look and minimal words. Her attitude made it clear that we were nothing but an inconvenience. We tried to stay positive, but every time she approached our table, our desire to continue the dinner quickly faded. When there was a small mix-up with the order, instead of helping me figure things out, the waitress smugly suggested that I should “read the menu more carefully.” This remark was especially memorable as it completely shattered any hope of enjoying the evening. In moments like this, you expect at least a hint of assistance, not an attempt to shift the blame onto the guest. The food, which I had such high hopes for, was, to put it mildly, disappointing. It was basic, middle-quality fare: nothing special, lacking taste or any kind of emotion—just something you could call edible.

The service ladies were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the food very much. Especially the Pho Bo Beef. There was fresh coriander and mint and four different sauces.

Vietnamese restaurant that offers various variations of the star dish of Vietnam, Pho. They have several starters that are very different from what other restaurants usually offer. The squid pancakes are 100% recommended.

Sehr authentisches vietnamesisches Restaurant. Es gibt auch Plätze draußen in der relativ ruhigen Stresemannstraße. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht aber wir haben ohne Reservierung an einem Sonntagabend einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Die Speisekarte umfasst eine große und ansprechende Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten - auch viele vegane. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und die Portionen groß. Wir hatten als Vorspeise die veganen Mini Pancakes und die veganen Frühlingsrollen. Die veganen Pancakes waren sehr gut. Als Hauptgang hatten wir Pho Chay und das vegane Curry (Cari Chay). Beides war ausgezeichnet! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant. There are also places outside on the relatively quiet Stresemannstrasse. The restaurant was very busy but we got a table without a reservation on a Sunday evening. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. The menu includes a large and appealing selection of delicious dishes - including many vegan ones. The food was very tasty, fresh and the portions were large. As a starter we had the vegan mini pancakes and the vegan spring rolls. The vegan pancakes were very good. For the main course we had Pho Chay and the vegan curry (Cari Chay). Both were excellent! We will definitely come back!

Amazing food and nice cocktails! Noodles, pork, and chicken meatballs were cooked to perfection and were very tasty. Staff is super nice and friendly. They cleared the table I booked as soon as the previous guests finished, helped me with my order, and even suggested to watch out for the spicy chilly oil (which was great btw). They also speak perfect English, so it is easy to communicate even if you do not know a word of German. Definitely recommend, and I’ll for sure eat here again in my next trip to Dus.

Was at Phox for the first time on Sunday. The young man in service was super nice and very helpful, despite the high number of guests he kept an overview. He gave me good advice. The food was super tasty. I can only recommend the Banh Khot with shrimps. Since I didn't know whether the Mi Vit was too much for me, the young man said he would ask for a small portion in the kitchen, which I got. Also super tasty. Especially the crispy duck breast. I then drank the Phox Da Chanh with it. This was also highly recommended. It definitely won't be the last time I stop there. Unfortunately, it's not that often anymore that you get friendly and helpful service in a restaurant. So top...big compliments to the young man

Delicious food and great service

Leckeres Abendessen nach dem man nicht hungrig nach Hause geht! Sowohl die Getränke als auch die Vor- (Won Ton) und Hauptspeise (Mi Kho) waren unglaublich lecker und sättigend. Die Atmosphäre war toll, die Musik war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Auch die Toilette war sehr sauber gehalten. Die Bedienung war sehr höfflich und hat sich um die Gäste gekümmert. Man hat sich echt willkommen gefühlt.

The restaurant is located in a relatively quiet (for Düsseldorf) side street, but very central and therefore easily accessible. We spontaneously came over for dinner and even got a table outside. We took the Lychee Spritzer & Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee); both highly recommended. For food we chose 2 vegan dishes; Cary Chay; which was a very tasty & spicy curry & Pho Xao Chay; which were also well seasoned fried noodles. Before that we had ordered 3 spring rolls. Everything was just heavenly delicious & the portions were really big so we couldn't finish everything. If you have the Vytal app, you can even take the leftovers with you in one of the reusable boxes or get food to go. The box can then be returned within 14 days. In my opinion, a really nice & sustainable solution. The staff was also very friendly, even though we ordered very confusedly. Despite the busy restaurant, our food arrived after about 10 minutes. For us it is clear; When we're back in Düsseldorf, we'll continue to try out the great vegan dishes.

Amazing pho and bun in a central location. Service was fantastic, we had a lovely time and enjoyed all of the dishes we tried. Good cocktails as well. Nice outdoor seating area. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The service alone would keep us going back.

Some of the best pho I've ever eaten! I was so excited to find I was staying near this restaurant. It has a beautiful atmosphere and everyone around is happy. I understand why- the food is phenomenal. Service is also fast and friendly and I can only recommend Phox. I will definitely be coming back...perhaps even making trips to the city specifically for it!
