I made a reservation about 3 weeks in advance and received a very friendly welcome. We ordered a phox bowl and a chicken curry bowl. Both dishes were very tasty and authentically prepared. For drinks we had MS Phox cocktail with gin. It was super refreshing. The service team was very friendly and always very accommodating. For a nice evening with authentic Vietnamese food 🥣 a recommended restaurant.

My visit was rather spontaneous and even though it was very full around 2 p.m., I still managed to get a seat. Very friendly service, delicious food and my bun bowl with spring rolls was so big that I almost didn't pack it all. Super tasty and really recommended! I'll be back :)

We ordered pho and tea, both were excellent. It's also practical that you can order a whole liter of homemade lemonade for the whole table. There are also clean toilets. The service was friendly and accommodating.

The first time I ate at a restaurant, I ordered mini pancakes. Because I had never eaten it, it didn't look hot, but when I bit into it, it was extremely hot, causing burns on the roof of my mouth and even breaking the skin. I think the food is very delicious, whether it is beef pho or mini pancake, but I suggest the waiter to remind guests that the mini pancake is very hot and should be eaten with caution. I also hope that the next customer will be careful not to get burned.

Erwarten Sie einen deutlich gehobenen Vietnamesen in netter Atmosphäre und freundlichem und schnellem Service. Die Qualität unserer Gerichte überzeugte. Die Karte ist überschaubar, aber ausreichend. Man sollte wissen, dass das Phox definitiv kein preiswertes Restaurant ist. Incl. unserer Getränke und etwas Tip waren wir schnell bei 70€. Kein Schnapper, aber gut!

By far the best Asian restaurant in Düsseldorf. The pho is by far better than any ramen around. The homemade nuggets are an absolute recommendation as a starter. In the picture you can see the dish Mi Kho with meat and it was really very good! PhoX is my personal insider tip in Düsseldorf!

Pleasantly busy. When we arrived it was packed. They asked to wait a moment and it was well worth the few minutes of waiting! We were kindly welcomed. And the food was sublime as we can expect from Vietnamese cuisine. Nice wine list too, by the way. Highly recommended.

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Es waren noch ein paar Plätze drinnen und draußen frei haben uns am Fenster hingesetzt. Sehr nettes Personal und zuvorkommend. Hatten eine Vorspeise die sehr gut war und zwei Hauptgericht die sehr groß sind. Als kleiner Abschluss noch ein kleinen schnapps. Waren sehr zufrieden und würden auf alle fälle wieder hingehen.

From the moment I walked in, something felt off. The waitress who greeted us was so unfriendly that it seemed as if our presence was a disturbance to her. No greeting, no smile—just a cold, distant look and minimal words. Her attitude made it clear that we were nothing but an inconvenience. We tried to stay positive, but every time she approached our table, our desire to continue the dinner quickly faded. When there was a small mix-up with the order, instead of helping me figure things out, the waitress smugly suggested that I should “read the menu more carefully.” This remark was especially memorable as it completely shattered any hope of enjoying the evening. In moments like this, you expect at least a hint of assistance, not an attempt to shift the blame onto the guest. The food, which I had such high hopes for, was, to put it mildly, disappointing. It was basic, middle-quality fare: nothing special, lacking taste or any kind of emotion—just something you could call edible.

The service ladies were very friendly and accommodating. I enjoyed the food very much. Especially the Pho Bo Beef. There was fresh coriander and mint and four different sauces.

Very rich and abundant dishes. Several vegan options for both starters and main dishes, which are clearly identified, and all dishes have an allergen legend. I had stir-fried noodles with tofu, and it was very delicious! And the staff is very friendly and attentive.

Vietnamese restaurant that offers various variations of the star dish of Vietnam, Pho. They have several starters that are very different from what other restaurants usually offer. The squid pancakes are 100% recommended.

Very authentic Vietnamese restaurant. There are also places outside on the relatively quiet Stresemannstrasse. The restaurant was very busy but we got a table without a reservation on a Sunday evening. The service was very friendly, attentive and quick. The menu includes a large and appealing selection of delicious dishes - including many vegan ones. The food was very tasty, fresh and the portions were large. As a starter we had the vegan mini pancakes and the vegan spring rolls. The vegan pancakes were very good. For the main course we had Pho Chay and the vegan curry (Cari Chay). Both were excellent! We will definitely come back!

Sehr authentisches vietnamesisches Restaurant. Es gibt auch Plätze draußen in der relativ ruhigen Stresemannstraße. Das Restaurant war sehr gut besucht aber wir haben ohne Reservierung an einem Sonntagabend einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Die Speisekarte umfasst eine große und ansprechende Auswahl an leckeren Gerichten - auch viele vegane. Das Essen war sehr lecker, frisch und die Portionen groß. Wir hatten als Vorspeise die veganen Mini Pancakes und die veganen Frühlingsrollen. Die veganen Pancakes waren sehr gut. Als Hauptgang hatten wir Pho Chay und das vegane Curry (Cari Chay). Beides war ausgezeichnet! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Very friendly service. The food was very tasty. My only criticism was that my dish of spring rolls and noodles lacked a bit of sauce. Otherwise everything was perfect. Card payment was also possible.

Amazing food and nice cocktails! Noodles, pork, and chicken meatballs were cooked to perfection and were very tasty. Staff is super nice and friendly. They cleared the table I booked as soon as the previous guests finished, helped me with my order, and even suggested to watch out for the spicy chilly oil (which was great btw). They also speak perfect English, so it is easy to communicate even if you do not know a word of German. Definitely recommend, and I’ll for sure eat here again in my next trip to Dus.

Was at Phox for the first time on Sunday. The young man in service was super nice and very helpful, despite the high number of guests he kept an overview. He gave me good advice. The food was super tasty. I can only recommend the Banh Khot with shrimps. Since I didn't know whether the Mi Vit was too much for me, the young man said he would ask for a small portion in the kitchen, which I got. Also super tasty. Especially the crispy duck breast. I then drank the Phox Da Chanh with it. This was also highly recommended. It definitely won't be the last time I stop there. Unfortunately, it's not that often anymore that you get friendly and helpful service in a restaurant. So top...big compliments to the young man

Leckeres Abendessen nach dem man nicht hungrig nach Hause geht! Sowohl die Getränke als auch die Vor- (Won Ton) und Hauptspeise (Mi Kho) waren unglaublich lecker und sättigend. Die Atmosphäre war toll, die Musik war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Auch die Toilette war sehr sauber gehalten. Die Bedienung war sehr höfflich und hat sich um die Gäste gekümmert. Man hat sich echt willkommen gefühlt.

Mega large portion which is worth the money, and vegan and vegetarian dishes were super tasty.

The restaurant is located in a relatively quiet (for Düsseldorf) side street, but very central and therefore easily accessible. We spontaneously came over for dinner and even got a table outside. We took the Lychee Spritzer & Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee); both highly recommended. For food we chose 2 vegan dishes; Cary Chay; which was a very tasty & spicy curry & Pho Xao Chay; which were also well seasoned fried noodles. Before that we had ordered 3 spring rolls. Everything was just heavenly delicious & the portions were really big so we couldn't finish everything. If you have the Vytal app, you can even take the leftovers with you in one of the reusable boxes or get food to go. The box can then be returned within 14 days. In my opinion, a really nice & sustainable solution. The staff was also very friendly, even though we ordered very confusedly. Despite the busy restaurant, our food arrived after about 10 minutes. For us it is clear; When we're back in Düsseldorf, we'll continue to try out the great vegan dishes.

Amazing pho and bun in a central location. Service was fantastic, we had a lovely time and enjoyed all of the dishes we tried. Good cocktails as well. Nice outdoor seating area. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. The service alone would keep us going back.

Some of the best pho I've ever eaten! I was so excited to find I was staying near this restaurant. It has a beautiful atmosphere and everyone around is happy. I understand why- the food is phenomenal. Service is also fast and friendly and I can only recommend Phox. I will definitely be coming back...perhaps even making trips to the city specifically for it!

The service was very friendly to our large group and responded to our requests quickly and efficiently. The food came out quickly and we carefully counted whether everything arrived. The dishes were authentic and excellently seasoned. Definitely recommended as a Vietnamese! :)

As a Vietnamese I am very picky about my soups but this Bun Bo Hue tastes just as good as in Vietnam. The staff was really nice and the whole restaurant has a very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. One of my new favorite restaurants where I will definitely return with my Vietnamese parents!

It was very busy on Japantag (1-6-2024) but the staff worked hard to make us happy. Well that worked out how. Smooth, friendly service with delicious dishes. We will definitely come back with the whole family.

We really liked the Phox Pho. We were warmly welcomed and were able to choose a place. In addition to the standard drinks, there are also some special drinks. I didn't know lemongrass tea before. The food was very good. I really like Vietnamese Pho and this was great. The other main dish Pho Xao Chay was also very good. I would also like to praise the homemade nuggets. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions about the dishes competently. The Phox Pho gets a clear recommendation from us.

We had dinner at Phox with a reservation and got a comfortable place on the terrace. The service was very attentive. In addition to the vegetarian summer rolls as a starter, we had Pho Ga, the Bun Bowl and Dan Chanh. The main courses tasted authentically spicy and there were numerous options to tailor the meal to suit every palate with sauces provided. The portion size was very generous (written by a talented eater). We would replace the summer rolls with another dish next time because they didn't completely impress us. See you next time!

Best authentic Vietnamese food I've ever had. Top

Always delicious! We love the summer rolls which taste really fresh. We also tried the wontons which were yummy and crunchy. I love the pho chicken soup, it's especially good if you are feeling sick. The chicken is of good quality and the broth is aromatic and light at the same time. I wish there was more of the crispy chicken skin "croutons", they are great! Drinks could use some improvement. The "Schorlen" were flat, although Schorle should be with sparkling water, and not very flavorful. I tried the Vietnamese iced coffee which was yummy and flavorful, but it was over 1/2 full with ice cubes. Not great considering the price and that it was gone in a few sips. Next time I'll ask for less ice! The atmosphere can get very full and very loud, it's a small space and they pack a lot of tables close together. But since the food is served relatively quickly, it's okay for the short visit. Maybe some day they'll expand- that would be a dream! All in all a clear recommendation for fresh, delicious Vietnamese food.

I was pleasantly surprised. The reviews that give 5 stars here are mostly right. From the starter to the main course and drinks, everything was perfect. The vegetarian spring rolls were generously filled. The soup at the pho was incredibly tasty. Takumi, on the other hand, can pack in. Get 1 liter of soda and you'll get a jug. Very nice with ice cubes and what feels like 4 limes in it. It's incredibly tasty. Simple and simply convincing. Service is very nice and explains what sauce is and explains the spiciness. There are bibs if you're afraid of spills. Atmosphere is a bit loud, I have to say...but it didn't bother me. Toilet very clean! Good soap. New card with new prices? Anyway, it's pink now. Prices absolutely justified for the quality. Tip: it's best to reserve on the weekend.

Very tasty, good vegan/vegetarian selection, interesting dishes and drinks. Reservation necessary on the weekend - there were three of us there on Friday evening and probably wouldn't have gotten a table without a reservation. It's a bit noisy because the store is so busy. What's nice and unfortunate at the same time: You can only have leftovers packed in reusable packaging. However, you need an app for this and I had no reception in the store and there was no WiFi, so unfortunately I couldn't take anything with me.

I had no idea what Pho Xao Tom was. But it was incredibly tasty! In fact, everything we ordered was delicious. Fresh and great in presentation. Not too exotic in terms of taste or taste. Moderately seasoned so that the ingredients came into their own. Even the (western) cocktails were very well mixed and well presented. The service was great, courteous and very personal. The only thing that really bothered me at first was the timeboxing of the table, even though it actually wasn't a problem at all. No pushing or operational hectic, as I had already experienced. The orders all came in a reasonable time and yet quickly. Not a recommendation for a romantic dinner, but a very good start to a nice evening with friends. We will be back.

Tastes great! We always enjoy visiting when we go to Düsseldorf. We are already looking forward to the next visit. Unfortunately there is a strong smell of toilet at the checkout. The women's toilet is clean but the toilet seat is dirty.

That was good, but shortly before 8 p.m. the waitress came and said that we should pay now because the table is reserved from 8 p.m. This was not announced when we arrived. Also, they don't accept Amex...

I just went there for a mint tea because the terrasse was lovely... and i ended up ordering a Pho ! And it was absolutely delicious, no regrets at all ! (Their hot chili oil is stunning) And on top of that they are lucky enough to have a fantastic, beautiful, smiling and pro waitress ! Yasmin is handling the whole restaurant by herself, it's quiet impressive. Really good place, i'll definitely will come back if I'm in town.
