The dishes were not only beautiful, but also a true culinary experience, and the elegant interior design complemented the atmosphere perfectly. The service was simply first class – attentive and professional! Definitely come back!

Unfortunately it's not worth waiting for over an hour (and then two things were missing)... It's a shame, it had so much potential.

For the price you would expect to get a big high quality food, but in the end you’ll be served nothing but basic food plus you have to wait an hour until you get your food and in the end when you ask for your bill, you have to wait another hour because the coworkers love to eat and to chat instead of helping the customers but how a restaurant like this serve broken chopsticks , pardon

This restaurant is a true gem. The food was simply to die for - authentic, fresh and prepared with so much attention to detail that you enjoyed every bite. The menu offers a great selection and every dish we tried was a real treat. The ambience is equally impressive: stylish, cozy and inviting, so you immediately feel at home. The perfect place to spend a relaxing evening with family, friends or as a couple. The service is particularly noteworthy – incredibly warm, attentive and friendly. As a guest you feel completely welcome and well looked after.

The food was delicious, but: something was broken in the kitchen so half the menu couldn't be prepared, which was especially issue for those who wanted to get other things than sushi. Trmpura sushi were also out of question. We did not hear any "sorry" or suggestions in the menu for the alternatives. I had to remind the waiter twice about my order, the part of the main was not served and the dessert was also forgotten. It's not acceptable for this level of restaurant. Also, we asked for 2 names on the bill but received only one (for the company accounting purposes). The service can definitely be improved.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service & Lack of Transparency We had a business dinner here today, and it was a complete disaster. Due to a kitchen malfunction, they were unable to serve any hot dishes and had almost no desserts available. The restaurant never informed us in advance, even though they had our contact details. Yet, they are very strict about their reservation policy, threatening a €30 charge per person for no-shows. We only learned about the kitchen issue after being seated, which is completely unacceptable. The limited food that was available was subpar—cold miso soup, and sushi that did not meet the quality one would expect from a place with such a reputation. Nobody in the restaurant took the ownership of the malfunction and they even charged us for the cold miso soup that we sent back. There are far better Japanese restaurants in Düsseldorf. This one is all hype and no substance. Avoid it. At all cost.

The food was super delicious, I love sushi so much and this is my favorite sushi restaurant.

My sister and I have been giving each other a visit to DEN for our birthdays for years. Same yesterday. It was fantastic as always! The sushi is so delicious and beautifully presented and the waiter is extremely friendly and accommodating. The whole restaurant is very clean, including the women's toilets. I had high expectations because the interior and bar are really beautifully designed. The atmosphere is welcoming and modern, which makes the visit pleasant. Unfortunately the sushi was a big disappointment. It was by far the worst thing I've ever eaten. The pieces were dry and had hardly any flavor - it felt like it was from the day before. Additionally, the amount of salad served as decoration was excessive. In the end, it all just ends up in the trash, and after all, we aren't rabbits. Overall, the price-performance ratio is simply not right here. I hope that the kitchen will be improved in the future because the ambience definitely has potential!

The two of us went to your restaurant and ordered drinks and food. Unfortunately there was an error when ordering, which we politely complained about. The waiter apologized and took the entire plate, even though only one roll was wrong. We found this a shame as there were also warm rolls on the plate and we would have appreciated if only the faulty roll had been replaced - especially as we were hungry. After about ten minutes the plate was brought back to us. I pointed out that the previously warm rolls had now become cold. The waiter was understanding and wanted to take the plate back to make it completely new. However, we asked to leave the plate and just replace the cold roll, which he did. Unfortunately, we had the impression that our complaint was not well received in the kitchen. This was evident in the next roll, which used a mango that was completely unripe and tasteless - something we would not have expected at a sushi restaurant of this caliber. We are very disappointed and regret that we went to you.

In fact, this is a shop where the chef can't tell peppers from beetroot. In the USA, as a result of such an error, the shop would simply no longer exist, as the shop would simply have to close due to compensation payments in the event of a pepper inconsistency. That's what I call lucky...

Great place, amazing sushi and great atmosphere. The service is perfect. Waiting time for the food is minimal. For sure will come again. The only thing why I reduce the star is that some alcohol cocktails seem to be without alcohol.

The restaurant itself is very nice, the employees are very planned for such a chic restaurant. When booking you could choose a reason why you were coming, but that wasn't taken into account. The food was okay. Gyoza way too salty and sushi with very sticky rice that got stuck in your teeth. And at 6:30 p.m. things were already out, which is simply not possible for such a fancy restaurant.

A cosy and stylish sushi place. Better book in advance, as there are not so many tables inside, but they also seem to have a covered veranda. Menu is online, you need to scan the barcode. They have not huge, but good enough selection of sushi. Maki come as 6 pieces and rolls as 8. They also have some special ones with quite interesting ingredients. Good selection of drinks, including German wines. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, it does not get loud, so good to have a nice evening with the date or friends.

Disappointing :-( ...we had sashimi and lamb. The tuna and the salmon were excellent but some other smaler pieces were very tough. Taste was good. The lamb: 5 relative thin pieces were cooked "welldone". Taste good. Both dishes were relatively small. Service uninspiriert. Will not go there again.

We have absolutely nothing to complain about. The restaurant is very nice and tastefully decorated. The service was really friendly and accommodating. We had sushi with vegetables and chicken and it was perfect and very tasty. We didn't have fish sushi so we can't say anything about it. The tables around us were all occupied and everything that people had on their plates looked very good. This was definitely not our last visit.

Wir waren zu fünft das erste mal dort. Super schön eingerichtet, sehr leckeres Essen und ein nett gemischtes Publikum. Wir wurden sehr herzlich und aufmerksam bedient. Am Ende stimmte auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Probiert es aus :-)

In der Gegend hätte ich nicht ein solch interessantes Restaurant erwartet. Parkplatz gleich in der Nähe :) freundlicher Empfang. toll gestaltete online Speisekarte. Das Essen - verschiedenen Sushi + Maki + Specials-. waren Spitzklasse. Das Preisniveau ist recht hoch, der gebotenen Handwerkskunst aber angemessen. Weniger für Familien geeignet

The food in DEN is good, but the prices are now completely overpriced, for example a glass of house wine 0.15 for €8.50 or 6 maki for €8.00. For 4 people we had to pay just under €150 (only 1 glass of wine and 1 Hugo, otherwise soft drinks and water), 1x sashimi and some sushi - luckily the guests weren't hungry. The portion of edamame gets smaller each time. Conclusion: Food good, but price level not justified - a shame 😏

There can be no question of fresh sushi here! The service was also catastrophic. The staff took forever to serve us even though the restaurant wasn't even full. We had to wait far too long for our food and the service was disinterested. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this experience. I definitely won't be coming back.

Die Speisen waren wirklich sehr schmackhaft und wurden ansprechend dargeboten. Prima ist die Idee, dass man Reis optional kostenlos zu den Hauptgerichten ordern kann. So wird einfach vermieden, dass etwas für den Müll produziert wird. Der Service war charmant und aufmerksam. Ein Punkt irritierte jedoch sehr. Es war kein Bier vorhanden. Wir hatten uns auf ein kaltes Kirin gefreut. Angeblich war der Vorrat am Vorabend komplett verkauft worden. Das galt auch für das Veltins vom Fass. Als Gast erwarte ich, dass bis zum folgenden Abend für Nachschub gesorgt ist. Zumal ein Metro-Markt ca. 500 Meter entfernt liegt. Somit tranken wir den als Hauswein angepriesenen Grauburgunder, der in Relation zum Preis - günstig - von guter Qualität war. Wir werden uns bestimmt mal wieder ins DEN begeben.

We have booked a table a few days in advance as loads of people recommended us to visit this place. As a result , when we have arrived - the restaurant was CLOSED. There was no one inside and no one picked up the phone. Both on the website and on Google maps it was mentioned that it is the day and time they should be open. As a result we wasted money and time on a taxi for a commute.

I was very disappointed with my visit to this sushi restaurant. First of all the service was extremely slow. We had to wait over 45 minutes for our order even though the restaurant wasn't even full. When the sushi finally arrived I was shocked at the quality. For example, sashimi wasn't fresh and tuna had an unpleasant smell. The rice portions were way too small and the rolls were poorly rolled so they fell apart as soon as you touched them. Overall, unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. I definitely won't eat here again.

Fusion sushi restaurant. Very good menu with different and tasty alternatives, delicious rolls. As a personal opinion, the values ​​are exaggerated for the size and content of their rolls. €18 for 8 pieces of sushi that had a total of 2 breaded shrimp, some avocado and wrapped in mango and rice is really ridiculous. The gyosas weren't even that delicious. Don't invest in cryptocurrencies, start a fusion sushi restaurant in Düsseldorf.

We chose this restaurant because of the very good reviews and the fact that they claim to be “the best sushi” in town. For the price - the two of us paid more than €160, including drinks - we were rather disappointed. The portions were large - yes! Duck and salmon came to the table with loveless frozen grilled vegetables. The duck was very oily, I found the salmon to be very tasty and tender. Sushi was OK, but I've had much better sushi for less money. The service was nice, but for our taste it didn't come close enough to the table in the price category. We ended up waiting 15 minutes to get our bill and pay because there is only one person who is allowed/can collect. We will not visit this restaurant in Düsseldorf again.

Food was good but I had higher expectations given the presentation on the website and Instagram. Unfortunately, service was chaotic, the wrong items were received twice, and the waiter wiped the table with a used napkin? Also came across as a little listless… the selection was standard here too. I expected more, if you don't like avocado you'll really have trouble finding something. Unfortunately, it's an interchangeable experience that you can also find with the competition.

Everything was great and we had nothing to complain about.

Wir hatte einen Tisch reserviert, kamen aber 30 min.zu früh, wurden trotzdem freundlich empfangen und bekamen sofort einen Tisch. Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Kellner. Getränke kamen schnell. Essen auch. Es war sehr lecker. Alles was wir hatten schmeckte sehr gut.. würden wir in Düsseldorf leben würden wir sicher gerne öfters hier essen.

It was ok, but not the absolute best, we had hoped for a little more for the prices. What we mean by that is if you're nearby and don't want to drive far, then it's ok. We came specifically from Cologne based on a recommendation and unfortunately it wasn't worth it.

The DEN is simply stunning!! Based on reviews, we decided: we'll go there... and: we'll be back!!!

We came across DEN while looking for a chic sushi restaurant. A reservation was made online and without any problems. When we arrived we were greeted very nicely. It took us quite a long time to choose our dishes. The waitress gave us our time without being intrusive. We spent 4 hours in this beautiful restaurant and really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with great music and even more great food!

Ordered sashimi via Wolt and received it below - when I asked that the fish wasn't fresh, I was told that they weren't a fish specialist at Wolt and wanted to think about it for 24 hours. I'm not one either but the taste isn't fresh either - unfortunately I'll have to throw it away and regret the decision to order something from Wolt and Den
