Very tasty food and friendly staff.

Literally the best German food I had in 15 years.

There were eight of us there. The food and drinks were all fine. However, it was very crowded and loud.

Im Prinzip ist alles in den übrigen Bewertungen gesagt worden. Konsensfähig wegen der breiten Auswahl. Ordentliche Qualität. Angemessene Preise. Sympathischer Service. Lärmig/wuselig - aber das sieht man ja bereits von außen. Man muss allerdings bereit sein auf einen Tisch zu warten.

Good quality schnitzel, not cheap but worth it

It's no longer an insider tip that this is one of Düsseldorf's best restaurants. Everything here is just right. The food, in particular, is outstanding.

My favorite lunch restaurant in Düsseldorf. Absolute hotspot. Loose & uncomplicated. Cuisine is world class. If the line is a little bigger and you have to wait, you can brighten up the waiting time with a glass of vino. Simply order from the staff. It's worked fine so far. 5*

Wir haben das Lokal heute Mittag besucht, waren extra 10 min vor Öffnung vor Ort, trotzdem gab es bereits eine Warteschlange da unfassbar beliebt und nachgefragt. Grundsätzlich wohl keine Reservierung möglich. Das Lokal ist eng, lebendig, quirlig, es gibt aber auch einige wenige Aussenplätze. Sehr freundlicher, souveräner Service den so schnell nichts aus der Ruhe bringt. Angenehmes Publikum! Küche auf sehr hohem Niveau, Thunfisch in Sashimi-Qualität ein Gedicht. Auch die kleinen Desserts zum Abschluss waren exzellent. Für die gebotene Qualität aus unserer Sicht faire Preisgestaltung. Fazit: top Tipp für Düsseldorf

I wanted to try this restaurant long ago but there has always been a long queue. Today was luckily a short queue so we tried it. We all had wiener schnitzel; it was amazing and authentic! Portions are also big and worth the price. Will indeed come back again!

Today, after numerous recommendations, we went to eat at Münstermann Kontor for the first time. We arrived around 2 p.m. on a Tuesday, so there were plenty of seats. However, since the restaurant is a cult favorite in Düsseldorf and therefore very popular, you should definitely make a reservation during peak lunch and dinner times! The restaurant is small, with an open kitchen, and a nice layout. There is seating both inside and outside. My companion had tuna ceviche on avocado, and I had fish fingers with lemon panko breading, mashed potatoes, spinach, and homemade remoulade. As is typical in a bistro, the food arrived quite quickly. And what can I say - our expectations were absolutely exceeded! I haven't eaten such a flavorful, balanced, and interesting dish in a long time! All the ingredients were fresh, harmonized well, and the wonderfully deep-fried fish in the lemon and herb breading was absolutely amazing. The ceviche was also lovingly presented and delicious. We also had Uerige Fassbrause, which isn't available everywhere and makes a nice change from the usual soft drinks. The price is high even by Düsseldorf standards, which has to be mentioned, but it's completely worth it for the quality of the food served here. We will definitely be back! Thanks to the kitchen team and the service for a great afternoon!

For me, this is the best restaurant in Düsseldorf. All the dishes are consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the service leaves nothing to be desired. You can tell the care and quality that goes into the work here.

Waren zum ersten Mal im Münstermann. Die Tische sind sehr eng gestellt und es ist so laut, dass man sich nicht unterhalten kann. An sich eine schöne Atmosphäre, wie in Frankreich oder Portugal, aber dennoch eher studentenmässig. Eine riesige Menükarte, sehr gute Weinauswahl an offenen Weinen, überdimensionierte Portionen , die zu überteuert sind. Ich hatte 2 Stücke Fisch auf dem Teller, wovon eines tranig schmeckte, obwohl mir zuvor versichert wurde, dass alle 2 Tage frischer Fisch geliefert wird. Alles in allem nur befriedigend.

I only went there because the braised pork looked great but apparently they rotate their menu from time to time. So it wasn't on the menu. So i settled for a sausage and their signature fish soup with all of their mini desserts. Fish soup: very unique and flavorful very good combination with the paste and bread. Sausage: Nothing ordinary, the sauce was kinda sweet not to taste. Dessert: presentation was good, looked pretty. Taste wise it was very ordinary. Service: Servers are very attentive, but kinda rushed, always on edge, bit quirky, didn't feel very comfortable. All that took around 45€ and it was cheap because sausage was the most cheap one. For one time experience I'd say okayish. But not really up to expectations.

It is not without reason that the Contor is also mentioned in the Michelin Guide. Whether roast beef, venison or creme brulee - everything is excellent.

Yesterday we had a very great and delicious lunch in the Kontor. Here we cook with a focus on taste and quality, which we noticed with every dish. The great service needs to be emphasized again here. Super attentive and very friendly and quick. The only drawback is the enormous noise in the restaurant, so you should think about how you can optimize that.

Visited the restaurant on Saturday morning at 11.05 a.m. All but 4 seats were occupied. Fast, attentive service. There is something for everyone on the menu. We ordered 3 starters. All very tasty and with a sophisticated salad. 4 stars because the shrimp was not deveined.

I'm a frequent visitor to Düsseldorf, and I have to say the staff is very friendly and professional. The food and the value for money for the quality offered here are simply unbeatable. Please keep it up!!!

Hier kann man alles bedenkenlos bestellen-immer voll, freundliches Personal. Für den kleinen Hunger gibt’s auch Currywurst mit Pommes, oder nur Salat. Alles frisch und für mittags super!

Expected more, but overall it was good. Long waiting times outside and also for the food after ordering. The risotto was tasty, the sauce for meat dishes was too intense. The atmosphere is inviting.

That very special “something” in every dish. The cooking here is elaborate and clever, without appearing aloof. We haven't found any better Viennese schnitzel yet. The quality and freshness of the products is outstanding. It's lively, like in a Spanish tapas bar, thanks to the open kitchen you can see how professional the work is, all the aromas in your nose and clothes included:-) We always enjoy coming back and are already looking forward to the next time :-)).

Nachdem wir die Wartezeit in der Schlange wartender Gäste bewältigt hatten, erwartete uns ein legeres, quirliges Lokal in dem die Gäste an langen Tischreihen Platz nehmen. Der Service ist trotz bis auf den letzten Platz gefülltem Lokal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Er arbeitet Hand in Hand, ist souverän und lässt sich Stress nicht anmerken. Die Karte ist Crossover mit regionalen wie international interpretierten Gerichten. Da die Küche offen und einsehbar ist, begeistert die konzentrierte Perfektion. Das Ergebnis auf dem Teller ist spitze. Top-Qualität on Point in Zeit und Geschmack zubereitet. Nicht überladen von Gewürzen, ein Geschmackserlebnis. Die Weinkarte umfassend und fair kalkuliert. Wer ein legeres, lebendiges Lokal mit sehr guter Küche zu dafür angemessenen Preisen sucht, der ist hier richtig.

Great food! I had an interesting ravioli with filet. What a flavor explosion. Not a cheap place, but worth it. I will definitely go back.

Why wait in line? Overpriced. Sitting outside is recommended otherwise a terrible smell of oil will stick to your clothes. Had heartburn all day afterwards. The first time was also the last time.

It's narrow, crowded, bustling... and just great. The atmosphere is definitely more of a French bistro, the food is crossover and always very tasty! You sit tight and you quickly end up chatting with your neighbors. The service is very attentive. The open kitchen allows you to watch the surprisingly well-functioning team in the small kitchen. Once you get a place, it's all very relaxed and always an experience.

5 stars for the absolutely fantastic food. We shared a large veal schnitzel. The portion is really large and perfect for sharing. The schnitzel was just perfect. We have eaten many schnitzels in a variety of restaurants and also in Austria and it was the best schnitzel ever. The side dishes were also generous and delicious. The service was on point and both drinks and food were served quickly. The atmosphere takes some getting used to. It is very loud and the tables are crowded. The kitchen is right next to the tables, so clothes definitely have to go in the laundry after a visit. Absolutely worth a visit for the great food and great quality. I definitely wouldn't come here for the ambience. Still 5 stars because we were so impressed by the food and service.

The restaurant is almost always full, resulting in a lively and quite noisy atmosphere. The clothes can definitely smell like kitchen after the visit. However, the food is absolutely sublime, with a selection of excellent wines. The price-performance is unbeatable. A reservation is almost always necessary. The atmosphere is great, but down-to-earth and unpretentious - this is more about enjoyment than luxury.

First of all, the food was fantastic, from the soup to the starter to the main course. The fact that we had to wait also speaks for the great food. But we really didn't like the fact that regulars in line outside seemed to have been offered something to drink, but we weren't. You know that a restaurant is good, when the locals come to eat there. Münstermann Kontor is a small, typical German restaurant that is loved by locals. With its long tables shared with other guests and the overall beer-hall vibe, It has a very Southern-German feel to it. This gives it a very cozy atmosphere. We ordered the traditional veal schnitzel and I must say that it was the best schnitzel I have eaten in my entire life. Sitting close to other guests on the longtables, we had a lovely conversation with a couple of locals that told us some other great places to see and visit during our stay in Düsseldorf. It was truly a display of german hospitality and friendliness, and we had a wonderfull evening here. The service was friendly and the food was served very fast.

A place full of locals, hence a fast-running queue. The recipes look like they have been on the menu for ages. For my taste, the plates were salty. The portions are generous. No AC in the inside area and could get noisy when full. I enjoyed the experience however won’t make it for the second time.

Absolutely amazing experience! COME EARLY! Arrived 10mins before opening there was already a line outside. I knew this was gonna be good. Sat in the sun which was lovely and the team was very attentive. People stood and waited to be seated which shows which type of guests this restaurant has. I recommend the schnitzel but take the small portion. Cute little kitchen and the team has a great harmony. Do yourself the favour and go there.

Elegí este lugar ya que era tradicional alemán y golpeamos Oro jueves a la hora del almuerzo y cada asiento se tomaba con una cola de gente esperando. La señora que nos sirvió hablaba inglés perfecto. Teníamos una pasta de marisco y un plato de mejillas de buey con verduras. Fueron sacados calientes y ambos fueron excelentes. Es una parada agradable a pocos minutos de El casco antiguo y Carlsplatz

The opening times are unacceptable to me these days. Very customer unfriendly. Turned away at 4 p.m. on Saturday, even though it was open until 6 p.m.

A local place with delicious food! The fish soup was very tasty, though could be a tad bit less salty but that’s just my preference. The asparagus risotto was just sooo good, with a very generous amount of Parmesan for the cheese lovers!

We were there for the first time and ate the Wiener Schnitzel. The little schnitzel was more than decent and tasted very good 🙏🏻 The only small negative point is that depending on the table you have to sit on top of each other. But I can only recommend it :)

Currywurst restaurant. Not the same as Imbis sausage. If you eat it, you will get cancer. The pomes are also crispy and delicious. Potato soup is not salty and delicious. It's a place that doesn't take reservations, so be prepared to wait in line. The space between tables is narrow, so you can see what the table next to you is eating or talking about. Heaven for those who enjoy this kind of atmosphere.

Quality of the food is always top! So you actually always have to wait in line. But the waiters manage it well. For me one of the best restaurants/day bars in the city. Unfortunately my jacket smelled like food for days! A fume hood system wouldn't be a bad idea! Unfortunately, opening times are very limited due to wealth! ;)

I love this place, its superbly cooked food right in front of you in the tiniest kitchen area with at least eight chefs crammed into this space cooking your food with good humour and plenty of noise. It’s fresh food at its best and great if you go alone. You will sit with others at a long table and you’ll always talk to someone in various languages. You simply must book. Or be prepared to wait in long queues outside. They also have funny opening and closing times. Don’t expect to eat late and check their closing times in case you have only 10 minutes to eat large portions.

Eins meiner lieblingsrestaurants in düsseldorf meiner meinung nach die besten schnitzel der Stadt. Jedoch find ich es schade wenn man bei so einem guten restaurant für die schnitzel hingeht. Der rest des essens ist sogar deutlich mehr mein Geschmack.

Super Essen, guter Service. Das „kleine“ Schnitzel ist sehr lecker und vollkommen ausreichend um satt zu werden. Wir mussten ca. 25 Minuten auf einen freien Tisch für zwei Personen warten.

Alvast de eerste tip, neem gewoon kleine porties en varieer. Alles hier is lekker, wijnen redelijk geprijsd. Begin met 1 van de soepen, neem een voorgerecht en hoofdgerecht. Ik had 2 kleine soepen, maar er is een maatje onder de kleine soep. Tässchen heet dat, bestel dit gewoon, dan heb je een lekker Senseo kopje soep, en kun je er gewoon 2 van nemen. Hier kun je het beste om 12:00 aankomen, want als je na 15:00 gaat lunchen, zit je echt vol tot middernacht. Een echt aanrader om even mee te pakken Die schnitzel smaakt, zoals je verwacht hoe een goede schnitzel smaakt

Sehr leckere Küche. Wir hatten für 8 Personen Gans bestellt zum abholen. Wurde alles perfekt einzeln verpackt um zuhause warm machen zu können. Toller Service! Das Fleisch war perfekt.

Wenn man in Düsseldorf ist, ist Münstermann ein Muss. Diese Art von Gastronomie muss man leider suchen bzw. ist in Deutschland verloren gegangen.

Wer auch immer hier beim Münstermann Kontor im gastronomischen Gelass die Kelle schwingt, Respekt, welch eine Handarbeit. Maguro Sashimi (Tataki!) und Lachstatar in einem Beet aus Hochgenuß, ohne Abstriche Spitzenqualität. Der Rotbarsch und das Wiener folgten auf dem gleichen Fuße, vom warmen Kartoffelsalat bis zur Jus, aromatischstem Gurkensalat (Koriander?) und herrlich zugehörigem Chardonnay (2020er Hofmann)...eine absolute Empfehlung (nebst Service!). Wir kommen gerne wieder...

뒤셀도르프에 5일 있으면서 왜 바보같이 진작에 안오고 마지막날 왔는지 후회하게 만드는 맛~!! 이곳이 미슐랭 스타가 아니라 빕구르망인 이유는 서민적인 분위기 그 이상 그 이하도 없다. 생선 스프는 특유의 향이 훌륭했고, 아보카도 타르타르는 빵도둑이었으며 크리스피 피쉬핑거는 아삭함 그자체였습니다. 모든 음식은 맛있었으며 주류 가격도 저렴. 너무 맛있어서 점심먹고 저녁에 다시 방문. 뒤셀도르프에 와야할 또 다른 이유입니다. 믿기지 않으시면 일단 먹고 말하세요.

Das wohl beste Schnitzel in Düsseldorf! Netter Service und Schönes Restaurant. Man sitzt etwas eng beieinander. Muss man mögen.. Wir würden uns wünschen, dass die Öffnungszeiten vom Inhaber bei Google kommuniziert werden. Wir standen leider schon zwei mal vor geschlossener Tür, obwohl Google „geöffnet“ angezeigt hat.

Das ich schon Mittags 11.40 Uhr vor der Öffnungszeit 12 Uhr vor dem Lokal in einer Warteschlange stand, spricht für das Essen bzw. das Gesamtpaket. Der Gastraum und die Aussentische(mit Heizstrahler)waren schnell Ich habe an einem langen Tisch umgeben von anderen Gästen gesessen, kam schnell in angenehme Wortwechsel und man tauschte sich über die gebrachten Speisen aus. Alles sah köstlich aus und mein Fischteller war es auch. Die angebotenen Weine gut gewählt.Der Blick in die offene Küche war interessant, denn auf kleinstem Raum war es für 7 Köche Zubereitungshöchstleistung, aber mit perfekter Arbeitsteilung. Ich freu mich jetzt schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch.

Fünf Personen zum Mittagessen, vier davon zum ersten Mal dort, fünf verschiedene Essen, alle sehr lecker und frisch, mit frischen Zutaten. Die Fischstäbchen sehr interessant ausgelegt. Super, immer gerne.

An einem Mittwochnachmittag haben wir zum ersten Mal das "Münstermann Kontor" besucht. Und wir waren froh, einen Tisch reserviert zu haben. Man hat uns an einen großen langen Tisch gesetzt, an dem eben halt auch viele andere saßen. Wer es gemütlicher mag, ist hier fehl am Platz. Es kann schon eng und stressig werden. Als Aperatif wählten wir einen Crémant, der schon sehr lecker war. Ein Bierchen und ein Aperol Spritz später waren wir bereit für die Vorspeisen. Wir wählten einmal die vegetarische Kartoffelsuppe und die Ziegenkäsetaler mit einem bunten Salat. Beides hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt. Zur Hauptspeise wählten wir den Schweinebauch und das "kleine" Wiener Schnitzel. Der Bauch war der Hammer: Außen knusprig und innen butterzart, er zerlief auf der Zunge. Das "kleine" Schnitzel war ebenfalls perfekt. Und riesengroß! Als Nachspeise wählten wir eine kleine Creme Brûlée und ein Mousse au Chocolat. Auf hier hat alles gestimmt! Uns hat das Essen super gut geschmeckt, die Getränkeauswahl ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Der Service war aufmerksam und flott, wirkte manchmal etwas ruppig. Einzig das Gewusel war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Dazu noch ein richtig gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Unterm Strich hatten wir einen wirklich schönen Abend.
