We were visiting Düsseldorf today and spent our break here. The food was amazing, amazing, amazing. Everything was freshly prepared, and you can taste it. I can recommend it 100%. If I lived here, I'd come here every week. Keep up the good work.

Unfriendly, poorly organized mass processing at the outside bar!

Important to note: The bachelor party was organized by an external company – and it was absolutely fantastic! The games and the entire program were fantastic. We were completely satisfied with the event – ​​a full 5 stars for that. This review refers exclusively to the on-site bar service, and unfortunately, we have to give it 1 star. The bar was closed all morning, so we couldn't buy anything until noon. When the staff finally arrived, we learned that only cash payments were accepted – very impractical and outdated these days. In addition, only large drinks could be ordered, which is unnecessarily restrictive. The prices were particularly negative: two half-liters of water cost €8. When we wanted to enjoy our drinks on the terrace, we were directed to the lawn without any comprehensible explanation. This was not only incomprehensible, but also dampened the mood. Conclusion: A great day thanks to external organization – but the bar service was unfortunately disappointing and could be improved.

An absolute disaster! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! We recently visited this pub, and I have to say: it couldn't get any worse. The water was served to us in huge beer glasses – and the best part: they still smelled distinctly of beer! As if someone had just emptied the beer and thought, "Oh, that's fine!" The staff? Unfriendly, annoyed, and completely overwhelmed. We had to wait far too long before anyone even came, and then they were treated rudely. No smile, no manners – just plain bad.

We celebrated at TG1881 with about 120 guests, and it was simply fantastic! All the service staff did such a fantastic job; the cake, food, and drinks were top-notch! The organization was super uncomplicated and friendly. It rained most of the time, but thanks to the tent, our guests were able to enjoy the outdoors and indoors. It was simply fantastic. Thanks to the entire team ❤️

The slightly different beer garden: Simple wooden furniture and beer benches directly at the sports field, together with the deck chairs and palm trees, create a very cozy atmosphere. The area is large and spacious and even invites you to "hike" around the football field. The very chilled in-house dog at least runs his rounds there and also greets one or two guests. You can get drinks and food at the counter, where relaxed music is playing (black coffee). Outside there is salad, burgers and schnitzel as well as waffles and homemade cakes. The delicious Alt vom Fuchs beer is tapped here. I tried the burger, which I found to be very tasty, even though it was created quite unconventionally: cucumber, grated carrots and coleslaw as well as a very tasty dip (something with mayo and mustard...) for the really good fries. All in all a very nice stay there. Then why only four stars? For me to get five stars, the selection would have to be larger and the prices would have to be smaller. Oh yes, and if you come by car: there are parking spaces directly at the sports field and on the way there, but certainly not enough at peak times. The parking lot at the event location next door is within walking distance or you can come directly by bike, like I did. Next time I'll try one of the schnitzels, which (like the burger) was highly recommended to me by the very friendly and cheerful waitress at the counter.

Last night I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my work friends and I must admit that it was an excellent experience! The food was absolutely delicious, every dish full of flavor and freshness. The atmosphere of the place was very pleasant and the service was extremely friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable there and the whole evening was a complete success. I can definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back at the next opportunity!

Possibly reservation is an advantage! The only thing we don't like is the unpredictable opening times!!! The information about whether and for how long it is closed is only available in the display case at the bar (although you can see it there yourself, as no one is sitting in the front beer garden). Closing times may be indicated. Conclusion: You come by for free! This is annoying and annoying! Normal guests are also good and, above all, paying customers and not just closed companies!!! As an operator, I might think about it. It doesn't take that much "work" to publish this on the homepage at short notice! The restaurant is currently open up to and including. Closed to all visitors tomorrow, August 25th, 2024 due to a celebration. Just in case someone is looking forward to a delicious schnitzel and has to go home disappointed...

Wir haben hier 2022 eine Erstkommunion gefeiert und ich kann TG 1881 zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Sascha und Personal waren zu jeder Zeit nett, flexibel, professionell, aufmerksam, entspannt so dass es ein tolles Fest war. Das Essen wurde von allen Gästen gelobt und auch die Ideen zur Anrichtung waren toll. Preis und Leistung passen super zusammen. Und auch das Kommunionkind und die anderen Kinder haben sich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ich war dort schonmal mit einer Freundin auf der vorderen Terasse - das war ganz okay, Bedienung war freundlich, aber wir haben nur Bier getrunken. Diesmal wollten wir zu dritt dort auch essen. Nur die hintere Terasse war geöffnet und wir wurden von zwei unangeleinten Hunden dermaßen bedrängt und besprungen, dass wir nur ein Getränk schnell geleert haben und dann flüchten mussten 😂 das lahme Zurückrufen hat einen Hund zwar zweimal von uns weggelockt, aber nicht für lang. Unsere Situation wurde also bemerkt, aber hat nicht interessiert. Das Essen roch ganz gut, aber mehr als den Geruch können wir nicht beurteilen

Im weitläufigen sehr sehenswerten Areal des düsseldorfer Südparks (ehem. buga- Gelände, Volksgarten, Stoffeler Friedhof usw.) hibt es eine Reihe guter Rast- und Einkehrmöglichkeiten. Eine davon ist das Vereinshaus mit Sonnenterasse u. Biergarten (gleichsam Café, Restaurant, Eventlocation f. Hochzeiten, Trauergesellschaften, Familienfeste etc.) der TG1881. Hier serviert der sehr freundliche und alerte Service Kuchen, Waffeln mit dies & das, Currywurst & Pommes, Schnitzel, warme und kalte Getränke und Füchschen vom Fass ( vgl. Foto von der Karte). Mir gefällt es hier.

Unfreundlich, unprofessionell und völlig überteuert für die gebotene Qualität. Selbst mit gültigem Impfnachweis bei kalten Außentemperaturen nach draußen geschickt, weil angeblich nicht ausreichend. Schlechter Service. Auf die Frage nach kindgerechten Portionsgrößen gab es eine schnippige Antwort und keine Lösung des Anliegen. Hier kann man nur froh sein wenn die natürliche Selektion zur Schließung führt. Wir kommen definitiv nie wieder.

Ich war mal wieder im Südpark unterwegs und dann im Café Restaurant gelandet. Gegenüber meinen letzten Besuch hat sich einiges verändert, der Laden hat sich richtig gut heraus geputzt was schon mal sehr positiv zu bewerten ist! Ich habe ein Jägerschnitzel mit leckeren frischen Pommes und zum Nachttisch einen Apfelstrudel mit Vanilleeis gegessen. Alles tippi toppi... Einfach sehr frisch und sehr lecker und dazu war meine Portion auch noch wirklich reichlich. Die Jägersoße war mit frischen Pilzen zubereitet, was man direkt heraus geschmeckt hat. Also für diesen Preis einfach hervorragend gegessen! Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder

Kurz: Einfach das beste im großen Umkreis. Lang: Leckere Speisen zu fairen Preisen Nettes Personal und ruhige Lage die zu einem Verdaungsspaziergang einlädt.

Aktuell werden wegen Lockdown Speisen zum Mitnehmen angeboten am Seiteneingang. Pommes, Waffeln, Kakao und mehr ! Tolles Angebot. Kann man gleich mitnehmen und (mindestens 50 Meter weiter weg vom Restaurant) im Park essen. Wartezeiten etwas lang.

Dieses Restaurant hat echt Potential mein nächstes Lieblingslokal zu werden.Jawohl,... vollkommen um noch ein Dessert hinterher essen zu können.Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind äußerst angenehm und den Abstand zwischen den Plätzen finde ich äußerst adäquat. Dort bekommt man durchaus nicht das Gefühl, wie Gurken in der Dose Abend zu dinieren.Nicht nur das aufmerksame Personal war bei meinem Besuch der absolute Renner, sondern ebenfalls das tolle Klima.

Nicht zu empfehlen für Feiern. Keine Musik, das Essen recht einfallslos

Wir kamen zu zweit, fanden sofort Platz. Die Hygienevorschriften wurden beachtet. Wir wurden freundich empfangen und sofort bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker/Bratkartoffeln... Waffeln... und als Ausgleich für die Ausfallzeit, als das Lokal schließen musste, gab es gutes Trinkgeld. Wir empfehlen die Gaststätte weiter.
