⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We've been to Phaiwan's Thai Kitchen in Bad Ems twice already – and each time it was a truly fantastic experience! We were particularly impressed by the friendly service and the warmth with which we were welcomed and cared for in this family-run restaurant. You immediately notice that hospitality is at the forefront here: the team is attentive, courteous, and open to our requests. And most importantly: the food has tasted incredibly good every time. The dishes are fresh, authentic, and prepared with great attention to detail – a truly impressive taste experience. The ambiance is pleasant, clean, and cozy – ideal for a relaxed dinner. We highly recommend Phaiwan's Thai Kitchen and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Authentic Thai cuisine. The tom yum tasted just like it was fresh from Thailand. I don't know where they get the necessary ingredients so fresh in Germany, but this little restaurant is a real insider tip! 5 out of 5 stars. Absolutely recommend it! :)

I ordered "crispy duck" and got a sliced ​​dough roll, presumably made with cornflakes to make it look crispy, with a bit of duck inside. Unfortunately, it was too fatty. The fact that the owner and other employees were smoking right outside the restaurant door seemed a bit odd to me. I also didn't think it was appropriate that three people took turns serving me, without coordinating with each other. Overall, unfortunately, it wasn't very good.

I was absolutely thrilled! 🦆 The duck here is truly the best I've ever eaten—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor. Absolutely delicious! 👌 The staff are also super friendly, attentive, and very professional. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands.

Looks pretty nice. Unfortunately, the young man wasn't very accommodating this evening. It was around 8 p.m., there were still three seats free outside, and almost everything inside was still full. There weren't any reserved signs on any of the tables, and the man said there wasn't room for us. I've rarely felt so ripped off in my life. Are they no longer needing guests?

Simply wow. My husband and I ate here for the first time today, as we recently moved to Bad Ems. I have to say, we've been to many other Thai restaurants, but none could top this one. I ordered the Pad Thai Gung dish, and it was the best I've ever eaten. The ambiance was also very nice, and the service was also super friendly. This definitely won't be our last visit. 😊👍

Both the waitress and the waiter are very attentive and create a pleasant atmosphere at the tables. The food was also good, and so far, the prices haven't been exorbitant. From the bridge across the street, you have a beautiful view of part of Bad Ems along the river.

Die Speisekarte hat eine gute Auswahl an Speisen. Vegetarisch, Geflügel, Schwein, Rindfleisch, Fisch. Ich hatte einen Rindfleischsalat und Tintenfischringe als Vorspeise- viel zu viel, sehr lecker. Die Hauptspeise war ein Entengericht mit Mango - Ente sehr knusprig, Gemüse knackig frisch und sehr lecker gewürzt.

We would have liked to have eaten here after visiting the thermal baths. So we passed the time for another 2 hours until the restaurant was supposed to open at 5 p.m. We were only informed on site that the restaurant was not opening and was reserved for a “closed group”. This was not mentioned either over the telephone on the AB or online. Is that really too much to ask? Service looks different!

Very nicely decorated and nice atmosphere. I was served very attentively and friendly. For the lunch menu you can choose between soup and spring rolls. For the main course I had the fried noodles with chicken. Very tasty and recommended. If you want to eat Thai food, you're in good hands here.

My wife and I had a delicious meal. Atmosphere and service were excellent. I am less complimentary about the food. Maybe as an Asian I am too strict, but I missed the special flavors that characterize Asian dishes. Maybe it was the dishes we chose, maybe the cook wasn't having her day. Maybe we should just visit again.

Finally a restaurant that deserves my full points. Anyone who comes here should really get involved in the adventure of Thailand in a beautifully furnished restaurant with very, very nice and attentive staff. God knows I've tried a lot of typical local cuisines, but here I was once again absolutely positively surprised with fresh herbs, typical Thai spices and a combination that I wasn't familiar with. Tip, try the soups, the specials and let us recommend a dessert. The evening was a complete success... Thank you very much for that

We have been regular guests since it opened. Now we have moved away and continue to come from Berlin again and again to dine here. This way we don't have to travel to Thailand every time😂😊. It's awesome!

Good Thai cuisine but more reminiscent of a snack bar than a restaurant. The papaya salad was very salty with way too much fish sauce. The curry was okay with lots of extra rice in a pot. Bamboo shoots always give that little snack touch that makes them convincing. The service was friendly but not particularly attentive. We were allowed to take a small dog into the restaurant.

The outside area stopped us from going there for a long time, unfortunately that was a mistake. We haven't enjoyed such a good Thai meal in a long time

We were there for the first time on Saturday because of the Schlemmerblock. It doesn't get any better. We will come back in any case. We haven't experienced anything so nice in a long time. Nice staff and a really great boss. And the food was fantastic.

We tested Phaiwan's Thai Kitchen today... I haven't been able to enjoy such authentic and honest Thai food in a long time. The food was served quickly in proportion to the required preparation time. Between the starter and the main course there was enough time to chat or smoke a cigarette. At the end, all of my questions about the food were answered honestly and in a friendly manner. And for digestion there was a traditional Thai schnapps. The restaurant can only be recommended and we would rate it at least class #2 in the restaurant star rating. Thank you very much, dear attentive Phaiwan's team. Keep it up, that's the only way gastronomy works.

The Pad Thai was very good. The service was attentive and quick. The restaurant is very nicely and harmoniously furnished - there was even pleasant Thai music playing during our visit. The sanitary facilities are also clean.

I’m native Thai, food tastes mediocre. It was more of Chinese style than Thai. Price is a lil high for the quality of food. I ordered stir fry shrimp. My wife ordered pad kaprao chicken. Shrimp used was small and cooked too long. It was hard. Chicken was also not fresh. Tasted like frozen chicken. Definitely not Thai authentic.

Wow, selten so gut gegessen! Der Laden war voll und trotzdem war der Service freundlich und fix und hat sich sogar Zeit für ein kleines Schwätzchen genommen. Wenn wir wieder kommen, gerne wieder!
