Bürgerstube in Bad Ems

Very friendly staff and good food. From the outside, the house makes a modest impression that you shouldn't be fooled by. Inside it's a different world. We'd love to come back again.

With a delicious Hachenburger Pils freshly tapped from the barrel you can enjoy an excellent view down to Bad Ems

Definitely recommended! The ambiance could use some updating, it's 80s-style... but the food was delicious!!!!! I've had asparagus and strawberry salad before, but here the dressing and toasted oats were amazing. The veal was super tender and flavorful, as were the accompanying vegetables. This restaurant only opens every few weeks, so check the website first. The view is also a huge plus, and that alone makes the adventurous journey through the forest worthwhile.
