Emser Therme in Bad Ems

Great spa, great sauna area, but unfortunately, the waiting times at the checkout are far too long. There has to be a better solution than starting relaxation with a 40-minute wait. This is a minus point.

Not recommended. The selection is far too limited compared to the competition. I've visited the Claudius Therme in Cologne several times before, and given all the advertising surrounding the Emser Therme, I had high expectations. I was bitterly disappointed—I can't describe it any other way. The atmosphere also didn't come close to what I expected.

The Emser Therme is a true place of relaxation and recreation. As soon as you enter, you can feel the pleasant atmosphere and stylish design. I was particularly impressed by the spacious garden area with its beautiful garden sauna. Here you can sweat wonderfully and enjoy the peace and quiet. Another highlight is the unique river sauna. The feeling of having a sauna right next to the river is really special and offers a whole new perspective. Overall, the Emser Therme offers an all-round successful wellness experience. The combination of an appealing ambience, a variety of saunas and the special location makes it an ideal place to escape from everyday life and recharge your batteries. I'd love to come back!

In North Rhine-Westphalia, we call a pool overcrowded with small children a fun pool and not a thermal bath. We were here for 5 days. Recovery zero. Escape to the sauna area didn't change the situation; that's where the infusion hike took place. Your concept seems to be that things will work out fine. You are responsible for implementing the rules, the problem with the many children is probably of your own making! Paying guests are welcome, sorry not like that! Burying your head in the sand is not the solution. It's not always someone else's fault!

I've been there more than 10 times now and have never had any problems that would have made my stay worse. If you live nearby, the occupancy information on the website is great - you can keep an eye on the activity and plan for a less busy time. The restaurant is also very good!

Nice thermal spa with good saunas and infusions. We particularly liked the sound and panoramic sauna with a view of the Lahn. However, unfortunately no one sticks to the well-known rule of not reserving loungers in the relaxation areas and the lifeguards don't check enough here (I've never experienced anything like this). This makes the stay a little less relaxing. Overall, I have also been to thermal baths with more performance for the price.

The Emser Therme is a relatively modern spa with a view of the Lahn and the hills that are spread around the city. We were there as a family on Thursday, April 17th, 2025. The many adventure pools, most of which have pleasant temperatures, invite you to relax and linger. The textile steam bath in the bathroom area and the rain shower are also recommended. However, there are also critical points: the food in the restaurant was not very well seasoned and the employees were overwhelmed. In addition, the inhalation chamber on the upper floor was not actually filled with salt, but was mainly characterized by an annoying hissing sound. Conclusion: All in all, it is an interdisciplinary offering with a lot of potential, but you should take another look at the points mentioned.

Today, Good Friday, the thermal baths were already full around 1 p.m. Entry was only granted when visitors had left the bathroom. This led to a very long queue or waiting time. If you prefer fewer bathing/sauna guests and want to enjoy the thermal baths in a cozy atmosphere, you should not visit on a public holiday or come by later. It's usually quieter after 6 p.m. and you can relax in the thermal baths until 10 p.m. (daily) or midnight (Fridays and Saturdays). Beautiful, modern, clean and diverse thermal spa with a great sauna area.

Spent 3 relaxing hours there, booked an aroma package (oil/orange), a must, it was very good. Thumbs up for the masseurs + ambience in the wellness area. Also in the restaurant, the thermal baths, we ate very tasty, service, food, very good. Will book another day.

I was here in the thermal baths with my family...The staff at the checkout is totally overwhelmed, the entrance code keys were not activated properly so we were led through the entrance by the staff. When I was changing, I didn't pay attention to the closet number in which I put my clothes. When I came back to the closet after showering, it couldn't be opened with the code key, so I had to search all the time until I found the right closet. When I asked an employee, I was told that I had to go to the checkout and report it because it had already happened to others. When I got to the checkout, I was told that I had to pay an additional 2 euros, even though I told the employee that the closet couldn't be opened. The staff also do not inform you at the checkout that you have to remember your locker number or provide signs indicating how the code key should be used. Unfortunately, I'm so disappointed with the staff that we won't be visiting the thermal spa again.

7 years ago: Super thermal spa, very modern 5*, I've been there almost weekly for years. Very clean, expansion positive, now enough loungers in the sauna area. Since 2024 year: there has been a sharp decline, saunas are no longer in operation and are cooling down, on information at the counter: You are not responsible, the technology does it. Sauna infusions are forgotten - supposedly too few staff Pungent smell of sewage in the changing rooms. At the checkout: you know that, it's your turn, but you can't do anything. Prices rise, service declines - it doesn't fit together. We are currently considering greatly reducing visits or stopping them altogether.

It's actually a really nice and clean thermal spa, and the staff is always helpful and friendly. However, I find the odor nuisance in the swimming area to be bottomless due to the smoking area that is right next to the door to the outside. I don't think that a thermal bath where you go to relax should smell like cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, I seem to be alone in this opinion so far, otherwise they probably would have come up with something to avoid this.

I enjoyed two wonderful days in Bad Ems. On April 8th I was allowed to read from my new novel "The Naked Man in the Convertible" in the city library. The cultural association paid for my overnight stay in the Hotel “Zum Wiesengrund” and April 9th. I spent it in the thermal baths. I'm already looking forward to my next reading in Bad Ems. I felt completely comfortable.

Always really nice there🥰. You can spend the whole day there. Varied options. Even with the whole family. It can only be crowded on weekends/holidays. But during the week it is really pleasant 👍

Very nice large thermal baths. We were there on April 5th, 2025. Everything was well maintained and very clean. There was a large selection of saunas and a great sauna master. We felt very comfortable and were able to relax well

We did hammam for 2 people. A dream...my skin has never been so smooth and soft ❤. Enjoy 100 minutes.

Great wellness, clean, great sauna area

Have been here several times. Unfortunately, there was often a waiting time to get in. Otherwise worth a visit to switch off.

I have been visiting thermal baths all over Germany for many years. Here on the Lahn you can expect a thermal spa of average quality. There are almost no free parking spaces near the thermal baths. If you add the parking fee and entrance fee together, you get a relatively poor price-performance ratio. There are a lot of children in the swimmers area, with the corresponding restlessness. This thermal spa is intended to offer pure relaxation in the sauna area! There was a very clear announcement during the infusion: "Anyone who even dares to speak will be thrown out!" This was also coordinated with the CEO! Maybe it could have been worded a little nicer, I've never heard anything like that (that hard). The qualities of the different infusions are relatively boring and still have a lot of room for improvement. If you're looking for atmosphere, you're totally out of place there! Everywhere this noise of “relaxing music” sounds like “the cat has died”! With the river sauna (located somewhat out of the way), the thermal baths have a small highlight, a unique selling point so to speak, but of all places (where it is most beautiful) there are only extremely few infusions. In my opinion, the staff believes they are working at the highest level, but without proactively comparing themselves with the top thermal spas. However, such behavior could lead to the thermal baths being overcrowded very quickly and you no longer being able to get in. There is currently no mandatory online pre-booking required, there is probably always enough capacity. This situation is currently due to the overall quality. Because in the best thermal baths in Germany, you usually stay outside if you haven't booked in advance!

Pure relaxation! I've been there many times, and every visit is like a mini-vacation. Nice and friendly staff, everything is clean, and there are many different ways to relax, swim, warm up, or cool off. The outdoor pool is the highlight; you can relax in warm water under the open sky. It's worth staying longer.

Outdoor area with a very beautiful view of the surrounding mountain landscape and pleasantly temperate water. Indoor area with several pools with different temperatures and rainforest shower. Audience diverse. Overall, actually recommended, although quite expensive. However, we found the reception to be very unfriendly and incompetent - when the IT crashed and billing was no longer possible, all guests who wanted to leave the thermal spa were prevented from doing so and detained for more than 45 minutes instead of simply recording their personal details for subsequent billing.

It was very beautiful and there is a lot to discover. I was there on a Thursday morning when it was three hours for the price of two hours. It was pretty crowded, but you could still get in everywhere. At 12 p.m. there was even free water aerobics for about 20 minutes. That was great. It's definitely worth a trip.

Are the lounge chairs cleared away when you're in the water? Is that even allowed? I don't want complete strangers rummaging through my things! And I also don't want to have to search for my things and another lounger when I get out of the water. With these admission prices, I can at least expect a lounger. Because of the nice weather, we were able to lie outside. There was no sign of relaxation... Water park is more like it. It's a real shame... I'm giving the 1 star for the staff, who are really very friendly.

The spa was clean and beautifully maintained, really inviting! The sauna infusion in particular was extremely relaxing and there were no queues - perhaps I was lucky that Saturday. The food was both delicious and absolutely fair in terms of price. There's really nothing to complain about. An all-round successful stay that I can only recommend!

Great thermal baths, the price is quite steep, but unfortunately not an isolated case since the high energy costs. There are several saunas, including the river sauna with a view of the Lahn. The food in the sauna area is unfortunately very poor, frozen tarte flambée baked in the oven for €10. The service is also often slightly overwhelmed and there are a lot of young employees who are simply not yet experienced. Also deducted for the fact that the fireplace is NEVER on, kind of stupid for a kind of fireplace room. Addendum to the answer: we were there several times in winter in freezing temperatures, but unfortunately the fireplace was never on. :(

A very nice thermal spa. Ideal for relaxation. There are many options for swimming in the various pools. There are various indoor pools with different temperatures: 18 degrees, 30 degrees, and 35 degrees. There's an outdoor pool with a flow channel. An outdoor sports pool with a temperature of 27 degrees. Indoor and outdoor loungers, massage chairs, a sauna, and an Emser salt inhalation room are also available. A very pleasant atmosphere.

Very bad service. The chip on my hand was constantly having problems, I spent more time at the checkout/correcting the chip than enjoying the time in the thermal baths. The employee at the checkout was very unfriendly. There is no beer in the sauna area, and if you want food in the swimming area, you have to wait in line for half an hour. because there are no tables available. Just circumstance!!! Admission €40 is way too expensive for that. The highlight was that at the end I had to pay for drinks at the exit that I didn't even drink. Aperol billed twice. Rip off. Never come back

With the best thermal spa in Germany, the combination of thermal spa and the sports pool outside is awesome! We will come again!

A beautiful place for relaxing hours

One star deduction for the staff at the sauna counter. I was almost poisoned with 5 bulbs of ginger in my juice and I could feel like I was breathing fire. The next star is lost because of the curfew, despite the day ticket. With such a high price, not everyone can afford to force customers to eat all day in the overpriced and low-quality bistro. Absolutely poor value for money, not for low earners. Another star falls because of overcrowding. You really have to be a vulture to use all the attractions. And the last star that I can deduct is for the infusion that is absolutely too hot. Then it's better to have an infusion more often instead of an infusion that you wait forever for and burn your face off. Nobody could stand it in there. This is anything but traditional.

That was our last visit on Saturday. 2 euros weekend surcharge??? Given the already high prices... Should the shops in the city center now start doing the same just because there is more going on? That's just what a Saturday for a swimming pool is like. But that's how you make money, especially if you let more people in than you have space for. But here the thermal baths have become very clever and only have “short-term loungers”. The loungers are cleared away when you are not lying on them and the lifeguard simply packs all of our things into a basket and sets them aside. So when you come back from eating, you can look for something new, if you don't find anything you end up standing around with a full stomach or have to go into the water. The boy who made the infusion couldn't get the chews apart. So you pay a lot of money for little relaxation and on top of that you don't have any space.

Too few loungers for the number of guests, and also not enough seating in the restaurant area. Temperature in the thermal area is a bit low, both water and air. Massive risk of slipping if the tiles are wet. Strangely enough, there is no alcohol in the sauna area, only in the thermal spa area. Price-performance ratio doesn't fit. We definitely won't come back.

An hour's drive is a long time, but the route is relaxing to drive. I particularly prefer the sauna area here. The more than sufficient changing rooms, plenty of lockers and compartments for valuables are practically arranged and clean. The sauna area offers something for every taste. From 57 - 90°, also a steam bath. Even though there is a lot going on, I just felt uncomfortable here. The bar offers various drinks and a small selection of food. I particularly like the salt sauna, where the walls are made of salt slabs that are lit from behind. The river sauna in the Lahn is also a great experience, and the outdoor relaxation area directly on the Lahn is also very nice. I'm already looking forward to summer... We would have liked to use the adjacent hotel, but there is nothing available there at short notice. We will spend a weekend there in the summer. Everything is super appealing here!

Very clean, well-maintained thermal spa!

A very nice thermal bath. The huge rainforest shower is unique! The sauna area invites you to relax - there was always enough space. The only drawback was the food in the sauna area. The choice of food was very limited - we then went to the thermal baths area in bathrobes and ate there. Therefore a star deduction...

Top thermal baths, occupancy should be checked before visiting otherwise there may be waiting times at entry. In summer there are also nice sunbathing areas right on the river.

Very pleasant feel-good temple. Very suitable for families with babies. We were father 58 - son 30 - grandson 2 and all three of us had a lot of fun. 😊

A few things could still be optimized.

Very nice place, but the pouring is sometimes excessively hot. There is no ice or snow and some savings have been made on the interior. In terms of price it is comparable to Cologne and Euskirchen, but the general experience (coziness, infusion ritual, etc.) can be improved.

First into the underground car park. €5.00 daily price is okay. However, most of the parking spaces are reserved for employees and are also quite narrow. We first went to the sauna area. The hygiene, selection and size of the saunas should be highlighted positively. Coffee and cake were delicious and relatively cheap. A few little things bothered us. Except for one employee (Marvin?), the others were quite uncommunicative; loud private conversations were more important. The signs could be clearer or at least display a map. Corresponding flyers that would have made orientation easier for first-time visitors were sold out. In the "sound sauna" nothing could be heard apart from the crackling of the sauna heater. An absolute no-go, however, are the far too few showers, several of which were defective. And as in many thermal baths, there is a bad habit here of reserving loungers with towels. And even though the posted sauna rules prohibit this, the staff doesn't care at all. The swimming area with various pools is very nice. Since we were there on a short vacation, we probably won't come back. But even without this fact, it will almost certainly be our only visit. Simply too expensive for the day ticket price of €38.00 (!).

Actually zero star rating but unfortunately that's not possible! So if you're willing to stay in the hotel and pay a lot of money for it, the service isn't even worth €5! The ladies at the reception have no idea and they don't understand service either. It's a shame because the hotel looks different! That was the first and last time to visit the thermal baths. Hope you treat other customers better. And I hope that reviews will be discussed in trainees.

Beautiful thermal baths, great saunas and everything is modern and clean. However, the prices are clearly too high.

Beautiful little thermal spa in a beautiful location directly on the Lahn. Parking garage directly opposite, the daily rate (3 p.m. to 3 p.m.) was booked directly to the room at €7. Courteous staff at reception, bar and restaurant. Idyllic room with a direct view of the Lahn, a beautiful bathroom and enough privacy. The thermal bath itself is very compact with a few smaller pools and 25m for swimming. There are also a variety of saunas. The breakfast and restaurant were outstanding! We would be happy to come back again, although one day is probably completely sufficient.

Strong smell in the locker room

I love the Emser Therme. However, if you really want to relax, you shouldn't come on Rose Monday. At 9 a.m. it's still okay, but by 10 a.m. it's already crowded and it becomes unpleasant. That was my mistake for this year. Otherwise everything is fine.

I had a voucher for the thermal baths and was looking forward to a relaxing day. However, I didn't feel relaxed again until I left the thermal baths. By 10 a.m. all the loungers were reserved, so you couldn't even lie on a lounger for the time outside of the overcrowded swimming pools. Some people sat at the restaurant tables to get a seat for 5 minutes. An entry stop would have been necessary at 11 a.m. in order to at least reduce the volume in the thermal baths somewhat. The food was good and prepared quickly. The pre-booked massage started on time and was very pleasant. All in all, the visit was rather disappointing; the time could have been spent much better elsewhere.

Very crowded and confusing system. I couldn't relax at all. Waste of time and money..

We really liked the bathrooms and the sauna area - especially the river sauna with a view of the weir was really great! What is not possible, however, is the smooth, slippery floor in the thermal baths. I slipped and hit my head hard on the tiles. Very painful! Shortly afterwards, almost the same thing happened to an older gentleman - despite wearing flip flops. That really reduces the otherwise very positive impression.

If the prices weren't so ridiculous and there were healthy food/drinks (animal product-free) I would give it 5 stars.

Bad thermal baths!! We had to wait forever in the queue outside at Graden. When we were finally allowed in and wanted to eat, there were only 6-10 tables for 300-500 guests. If you don't have a table, you don't get any food. In my opinion, you also save money in the salt inhalation. The only thing that is very good is the outside "river sauna". Otherwise not worth a visit.

The spa is good. But I expected more from the hotel. There is no tea or kettle in the room. I was offered to buy tea at the bar. I have never seen this in more than one 4 star hotel. The gym is divided into a paid part with improved machines with a trainer and a free part for hotel visitors. Why do such inequality in such an expensive hotel. I don’t understand the rave reviews, probably that corridor leading to the sauna is the best thing in the hotel

I really liked it. Were there for several hours. The rain shower was my personal highlight.

Unfortunately not as great as hoped. Slippery floor everywhere, a lot of people slipped. 2 people fell and hurt themselves. Too few loungers, even in the sauna area. Not enough showers, in the sauna area there was only one of two showers where you were allowed to use shampoo. Nice furniture, but unfortunately not well placed. More like a train station hall. At one point separated from the other area with curtains. You heard every word from the others. Unfortunately, the relaxation room in the sauna area is not quiet because you can hear everything from the bistro, which is next to it. At the river sauna, unfortunately there are no loungers and from the street opposite and the residential buildings everyone can look in and take photos, especially when it got dark. So I don't want anyone to take naked photos of me sitting in the sauna... The parking garage at the thermal baths is a disaster. Parking spaces are far too small and there are tons of posts, no matter whether you park forwards or backwards, you can hardly get out of the car... The massage was ok, but too expensive for what was offered. And you weren't even allowed to take a photo in the private massage room, even though I asked nicely. Unfortunately the staff was rather unfriendly.

Absolutely not recommended on the weekend, the thermal baths are flooded like a subway during rush hour without any consideration. Anyone who wants to plan an hour while looking for a free locker can relax here, but everyone else would be out of place... It's a shame, otherwise it's a beautifully done thermal bath

Beautiful thermal baths, especially the sauna area with hourly infusions. The thermal spa area does get more crowded on the weekend, there are also a few small children, and younger people tend to come in the evenings. The food is very tasty although not that cheap. In the sauna area there are tarte flambées, cakes and yoghurt as well as juices and shakes. In the sauna area there are great resting places as well as areas with a fireplace, great for relaxing. We like going here.

Always a great experience. Today we were able to take part in two infusions and the river sauna is, as always, a real highlight. Compared to many other thermal baths, the pools here are heavenly warm and the ambience in the evening is wonderful. TOP!

The Emser Therme is really a wonderful place to relax. The modern architecture, the warm pools with a view of the Lahn and the diverse sauna landscape offer a great wellness experience. Unfortunately the prices are very high. A day stay can quickly become expensive for a family, and many extras cost extra. The restaurants aren't exactly cheap either. It's a shame that relaxation is almost a luxury here - a somewhat fairer price-performance ratio would be desirable. Anyone who can afford the visit will certainly not be disappointed, but unfortunately the thermal baths are not a regular pleasure for average earners or families.

Thermal bath??? Well, we've experienced better ones. Kudos to the photographer on your site! But it's not as big as it looks in the pictures! Had breakfast in the restaurant, which was a bargain at almost €10. The same breakfast twice but only one portion of jam! Rolls were baked - when you put the knife in they completely crumbled - shame on you!!! But the star goes to cleanliness - everything was fine. Otherwise it's no longer worth the trip to us!

Barbaric smell (of feces) in the changing area. It doesn't work at all. I would have preferred to go straight back. Not very family friendly. On Sundays there are many young families with children who don't really know where to go. Warm pools are almost constantly under siege as children's pools.

After a few visits to the Emser Therme, I would like to take the time today for an extensive review. Basically we like coming and all in all it is a beautiful thermal spa with a great location and a view of the Lahn 😇 - The adjacent parking garage is very cheap with a daily fee of five euros - depending on the day of the week and time, the number of guests is absolutely fine. There are enough lockers available. - There is a great selection of saunas and swimming pools. Here everyone should find exactly what they need for their personal wellness experience: Saunas at different temperatures between 55° and 90°, salt inhalation and steam bath. Different infusions take place in the garden sauna at regular intervals. The swimming area offers enormous variety, from the 25 m sports pool to the thermal outdoor pool (with massage jets) to the 38° and 18° pools for alternating baths as well as other relaxation pools and rain showers. I can't say anything about the beauty and massage lounge because I've never been there before. - The entry price for the entire day of €36 seems to be quite common for the use of the swimming pool and sauna. This makes hourly rates unnecessary because they simply don’t pay off. - It would be nice if the daily use of the fitness equipment was also visible on the price list (we asked about this in advance) - the € 4 extra for this is more than acceptable 💪🏼 Information in advance that the e-gym equipment cannot/may not be used would have been great. The enthusiasm of the employees in the gym also left a lot to be desired. They were friendly, but seemed very unmotivated. - On the whole, the staff in the complex are very nice and polite, but a smile would certainly look good on one or two of the employees 😊 - Although attention is paid to hygiene, the toilets should be checked a little more often. A toilet seat at the sauna entrance was dirty for several hours, while a bad smell of urine was noticeable in the women's toilets at the swimming area - that shouldn't be the case. - What I've noticed several times is the smell in the entrance area when you return from the outdoor saunas. It is sometimes more, sometimes less present and not really pleasant. - Overall, I would like the other guests to be a little more attentive. Maybe I'm a little old school, but it's certainly not too much to ask to tie long hair into a braid. And what's with this constant reserving of loungers? We were there almost the whole day and a number of berths were covered with towels without us ever really seeing a visitor on them for a long period of time. Loud conversations in relaxation areas and inside the sauna are also simply no-gos 🤫 Come on, guys, you can all read or at least interpret the pictograms correctly 🙏🏼 These are factors that the staff cannot control, but it is their responsibility to make guests aware of certain things and to ensure that rules are followed. - Finally, I would like to add that the snacks and food, the cakes and tarts as well as the juices and shakes are really delicious 😋 Only the prices for them are sometimes incomprehensible. The ratio to the quantity is simply not right. Small suggestion for an internal discussion: How about setting up a small discount for day guests and hotel guests? For example €1 discount on any drinks or food? In total, the guest might even treat themselves to one or two more drinks/snacks (I would have immediately gotten a second piece of cake and another juice 🤣) and the daily turnover would still be guaranteed. As I said, we'll definitely be back (a voucher is still waiting to be redeemed). However, after my next visit I would like to be able to give it one or two more stars 🙏🏼

The Emser Therme is a great place to relax! The sauna area with a view of the Lahn and the warm pools in the thermal spa area ensure a pleasant break. Everything is clean and well maintained, the staff is friendly. The only small negative point: it can get quite crowded at peak times, which reduces the relaxation somewhat. Still a nice wellness place that I would like to visit again

Actually a really nice thermal bath! If it didn't have an atmosphere like a fun pool. Absolutely terrible in the thermal spa area. Quite crowded and lots of children. It wasn't even possible to relax in the relaxation area. There were children raging loudly. The staff cleared out the loungers in the lower area from time to time, but upstairs the people spread out and “reserved” everything, and a few unpleasant visitors to the bathroom were the icing on the cake. The day ticket is also very expensive. Too bad.

Other thermal springs can easily keep up. One visit in a lifetime is enough there.

A nice experience on Valentine's Day. There are different pools so you always have variety. The bubble baths are especially great. Gladly again. The loungers are also comfortable to relax on. My girlfriend would only have liked a milk alternative in the in-house restaurant or at least lactose-free milk to enjoy a coffee. The price is reasonable for what you get. That's why 4.3 stars 🤩

A few years ago it was really a place of relaxation. You now stand in line for an hour in front of the thermal baths and have to wait to get in because the occupancy rate is constantly 100% on the weekend. For me personally, there are far too many children for a thermal spa, so for me Bad Ems is now just an upscale but outdated indoor swimming pool, as there is hardly any relaxation here anymore. Way too crowded in winter. After a massage, we were disturbed while changing after the final relaxation. We had to hurry up because the room was needed again. During the cozy meal that followed, I was incredibly cold because the doors were constantly open because the queue was so long by the evening that the sliding doors no longer closed. You constantly had the feeling of being watched because of the masses of people and the waitress was also completely unnerved. The thermal baths have seen us for the last time.

The thermal bath itself is very nice and the price is absolutely right. Sauna area also very nicely set up. Only the changing room - locker labyrinth causes a bit of confusion on the first visit.

We were there on a Sunday and waited in line for quite a long time. But otherwise, the thermal baths didn't seem overcrowded. Great sauna as always, delicious soft drinks.

Very nice pools and ambience but unfortunately extremely expensive. 3 hours for 2 adults and a toddler and you're out for €100 (entrance alone is €65, which is definitely too much)

Very good thermal baths. Everything is very clean, friendly staff, great ambience, water is super warm and there is something for every taste. Only a few more tables in the catering area made sense.

Actually a wonderful place. Yesterday, February 7th, 2025 from 6 p.m., unfortunately no relaxation, recreation or well-being. Why? Because the thermal baths seem to be developing into a fun pool. Children jump from the edge of the pool, just screaming. No trace of calm. Unfortunately I didn't spot a lifeguard - I think I just didn't notice him in the fairly full bathroom. So I couldn't address this. After a little more than an hour, my girlfriend and I left the thermal spa, after which we were “allowed” to do some jumping at the edge of the pool in the hot pool in the corner. Of course, I gave feedback at the exit and was listened to and offered compensation - but I wasn't interested in this and therefore asked to give it away to a family. So praise to the staff at the exit. This was a very sobering experience that I had not had the opportunity to experience before during my regular visits. Ps: in one of the previous reviews there was talk of an entry shop for a certain number of people. You just didn't notice anything about it. Changing rooms smelled very strongly of feces - although “smelled” is putting it mildly.

At the beginning about Annoyed by a cheeky employee at the checkout who should urgently be offered further training in customer friendliness. It doesn't work at all. Panty liners and leaves floated in the lap pool. River sauna and panoramic sauna very nice. Therefore just three stars

I applied to work as a sauna specialist there and I have never received such an insulting rejection in my life. I was told “by the deputy management” that many applicants are also available in person. The conversation had managed, but they could explicitly cancel me by email. I would have preferred not to receive an AW! My application was professional and took a lot of time.

The 3 stars mainly refer to the price! I would give full points for the offer and cleanliness! But a family trip could quickly cost 250-300 euros! In my opinion that is just too much! But you can definitely treat yourself to a break and relax there!

(08.02.25) Beautiful thermal baths. Very good sauna area. Staff at the food counter in the thermal spa area were extremely unfriendly. Not even a smile crossed his lips. The order will only be accepted if you have found a table with a seat, which is fine so that no food "flies around" in the thermal baths, but there are very few tables, so you sometimes have to wait a long time before you can even place your order. And what I found really bad was that my towel was stolen in the sauna area. And no, there was no mistaking it as it was hanging on a hook under my coat. The action ruined my day. But it has nothing to do with the thermal baths. So keep your eyes open everywhere!

A very nice thermal spa with a large sauna area and very good food!

We were there for the first time and had to wait almost an hour in total, over half an hour outside, it was cold. It took over an hour to get there, so we didn't want to turn back. I always look at a steam sauna as positive, but some people think they're at a flea market and could have a chat. You're there to relax, so chat when you're outside or it's best to stay completely outside. I always think a lazy river is great, we had it It was lucky that the whole mass was spread out everywhere in the swimming pool, otherwise it would be very tight. The sauna was fine, the river sauna had a special atmosphere, and it got a whole star for that. However, we wondered whether the people in the houses opposite or the cars that drive past don't all have binoculars, the sauna goers walk around naked, no fence in sight, you can wave to the cars, I find that a bit strange as there is no protection anywhere. We then ordered food and wanted to sit down, but everything was full because there were too many people and little seating. The employee said we should have looked for a seat first and then ordered. I don't know such a system. But we would easily have to wait half an hour. Luckily, a couple saw our searching look and offered us a seat. The baked potato with a well-portioned salad was delicious for just under €10. I found the swimsuits at the entrance for almost €100 sensational, and the bathrobe for almost €100 also left us with a certain ironic effect. Conclusion: If I lived nearby, it's quite possible that I would go there more often, but apart from the "special" river sauna, we also have the same thing in our area.

A very wonderful complex. Everything is in good condition, the atmosphere is magical, there is lighting everywhere. The water is at a comfortable temperature, there are pools with medium, hot and cold water. I was very impressed by the pool, which goes from the premises to the street. Hydromassage, sauna, salt room - pleasant procedures) When you swim, you have a view of the mountains) I stayed there for three hours, it was enough for me) Recommendation: take gels and shampoos with you so that you can immediately bathe on the spot.

First of all, the positive: The thermal baths are very clean and modern. The number of saunas is also great. We also liked the coffee scrub. Now to my 2 star deduction: I would have actually wished that the staff had paid more attention to clearing out the sun loungers that had been cheekily reserved. The infusions in the morning and at lunchtime were very weak and listless. It wasn't until Saskia came that the infusions were great. Big compliments to Saskia at this point. The range of infusions in the river sauna was also a bit disappointing (2 for the whole day). Although the river sauna is the most beautiful of all. It was also a shame that the bar downstairs was closed. Another little thing that was really annoying in the long run. The entrance door urgently needs to be readjusted. The door closer slams the door so hard that the bang goes through the entire sauna area. Unfortunately, it wasn't a little nap. Except maybe in the rest area.
