I'm in Bad Ems for rehab and went to the brewery for the second time today! Both times we received a friendly welcome and the currywurst with fries and the Jägerschnitzel with fries were first class 🤩..... large portions, tender meat, delicious sauce, fries on fresh potatoes, what more could you want. We would love to come back 😅

We were here for lunch today. Great selection of dishes, very friendly staff, great ambience and a great view round off the stay very well. The portion size was very good and the taste was wonderful. Since payment by EC was not possible, a solution via Paypal was offered here too😅 We'd love to come back

The whole thing was a bit bizarre. Since we couldn't find a parking space in the main town of Bad Ems on Easter Saturday, we drove up to the brewery. Luckily the restaurant was signposted otherwise we would have turned back. The last few meters there look more like a footpath. When we arrived at the restaurant we had to wait a short time, although we had the feeling that we were being ignored. Afterwards the service was very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere was quite special. I actually like a rustic style in gastronomy, but it all seemed rather thrown together. The tables were in extremely bad condition. Apparently there were also problems with the electrical system because the light first flickered and then went out completely. We were then asked to move because a fuse had probably blown and they were concerned about safety. The music selection was completely absurd in terms of taste. From ACDC to Helene Fischer and Roland Kaiser, everything was there and sometimes at an unpleasant volume. The view was nice though. You have a great view of Bad Ems. To eat. I had cheese spaetzle with salad. The spaetzle tasted okay. Unfortunately, the salad was very old and soggy and the dressing also tasted strange. When the jukebox suddenly became extremely loud again and again, again quiet and then loud again, we fled. I can only recommend that the owners make some changes to the concept and furnishings.

The food was absolutely delicious, lovingly prepared and full of flavor. The service was also super attentive and friendly, you immediately feel at home. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a relaxing evening. I'll definitely be back!

The place can be recommended, the beer too, the kitchen is bad... Gambas are overcooked until they are tough. The top layer of the salad is fresh and the bottom part is drowned in the dressing. The garlic bread drifts with oil from the garlic you nothing. It's a shame for the location, they don't seem to value regular customers here. The clinics are constantly adding new customers.

We went there for dinner today. We had reserved a table in advance via email, and the reservation was confirmed by the restaurant via email. So far, everything was good. The food was excellent and the portions were generously sized. The interior is quite dated. The tabletops have seen better days. The varnish on the tabletops is cracked from age and should be sanded and repainted. The menus were anything but inviting. They were worn and rancid. The photos on the website unfortunately don't match the reality and seem to be from better days. The food itself and the view of the Lahn Valley are the only positive aspects we will remember. We won't be making a second visit.

The three of us decided to eat here today on a whim because my husband was sick of the hospital food after four weeks 😀 We received a really warm welcome and were seated in the right-hand room! We didn't have a reservation, and there were two large parties there. The drinks came quickly, and our order—with special requests—wasn't long in coming. The portions are huge and made with fresh ingredients. The fries were fantastic, although a bit too salty for my taste. "Our" server was very accommodating, always concerned about us, and charmingly answered our questions about the area. The star deduction goes to the women's restrooms. There are three doors, one of which is locked. One restroom didn't have a toilet seat, which I consider a no-go for this great place! We will definitely be back and hope that the restroom will be complete by then 😉

There are also cool events, especially on Fridays with DJ or live music. During the week there are strong offers and a happy hour. The view is beautiful, and the brewery is easy to reach not only by car, but also on foot or with the Kurwaldbahn. In addition, the staff is extremely attentive and ensures that you feel completely comfortable. Perfect for a relaxed evening with good food, good atmosphere and top service!

Today we had dinner with 5 people. We can highly recommend the brewery. Drinks were there quickly. Service was friendly and accommodating. Food was very tasty. What was ordered: Madagascar pan: 5 stars Winzersteak: 5 stars Jägerschnitzel: Tasted very good, unfortunately the sauce here was cold. And 1 cheeseburger: unfortunately the specially ordered paddy wasn't finished. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied and would like to go there again.

Very tasty dishes on a small menu are offered here. Schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and fries is super tasty. Portions are good for normal eaters. These are two schnitzels with fries and delicious sauce. Nice courteous staff. The smaller disadvantage, if you want to see it that way, is the waiting time (40) minutes. But the view from here makes up for the wait.

The view over Bad Ems is great. The Belle Epoque ambience with pictures of Bismarck and Kaiser Wilhelm also has style. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the food. On Saturday lunchtime there were no more fried or baked potatoes. The little apple strudel wasn't convincing either.

We visited a friend and had dinner there in the evening. Great atmosphere in the restaurant, but the view from the terrace is awesome. All 3 meals were great and the price was also reasonable. And the boys were okay too. So one from me absolute recommendation

Nice restaurant with very friendly service. The house beer is also delicious. Unfortunately, in winter it's not really pleasantly warm inside, especially around the windows. Probably due to the design of the building. The restaurant can be easily reached on foot from the Lahntalklinik. Parking spaces for those arriving by car are also available. I could imagine that the large terrace with the view of the Lahn and Bad-Ems is an absolute highlight in summer.

The Kurwaldbahn takes you comfortably from the town center up to the brewery. I had a hot waffle with cherries, ice cream, cream and a hot chocolate, my friend tried the house beer - everything was delicious. The view is fantastic and the atmosphere is cozy. Staff in a good mood and funny :)

We were there for dinner with two families on Christmas Day. We had reserved the great Bismark room. Perfect service from the start, very tasty food and great ambience. Anyone visiting Bad Ems should not miss this restaurant up there. The view from the terrace high above the city is also great. Keep it up, we'll be happy to come back.
