PETER PANE Burgergrill & Bar in Hamburg

We ordered food delivery and it was an absolute disaster. Not only did we wait forever, but we also received the wrong food and items were missing. We live a 3-minute walk from the restaurant and the entire meal was cold. I can only say that was the last time we'll order from them; I expect better from Peter Pane.

It's a shame zero stars isn't an option. Terrific service, waited almost an hour for lunch and was brushed off when I asked about it. The place wasn't even full or anything. Definitely never again!

We come to this restaurant once a year because we had our first date here. Unfortunately, we've noticed that the quality has declined year after year. Of course, visiting every 12 months isn't representative; we've probably just been unlucky, but we still find it very disappointing. Yesterday's visit, in particular, prompted us to leave feedback, as we were truly disappointed. We were there in the afternoon when it wasn't very busy. We were greeted by a irritable young woman who, on her way to our table, made a rude comment, practically warning us about her seemingly new colleague; not a good impression. We don't want to go into detail about everything that went wrong, as some things might simply be due to the employee's first day on the job. Despite the moderate occupancy, we had to wait quite a while for service, especially between the main course and ordering the coffee/dessert that was still outstanding from the lunch menu. Getting someone's attention proved difficult, as my colleague's gaze was mostly fixed on the floor or ceiling, probably to avoid being disturbed – not very inviting. When we paid, we noticed we'd overcharged slightly (the receipt showed we'd been charged for the wrong drinks). Since it was only a small amount and we just wanted to move on, we didn't complain. Nothing major, really, but it somehow fit with the overall experience that day. The food itself was perfectly fine. We'll definitely come back and just hope we were unlucky this time and the atmosphere will be better next time!

A large, open-plan space that can be quite noisy when full. The interior design is identical to other restaurants in the chain, as is the food and drink menu. The quality of our food and drinks was very good. The prices were reasonable. The service was understaffed during our visit, which made them stressed, and after a long wait, we placed our table reservation online.

We visited Peter Pane on Langen Reihe for the first time on Saturday. As independent restaurateurs ourselves, we always critically observe the ambiance, staff, and food. And we have to say, for the first time, we had absolutely nothing to complain about at a restaurant. The ambiance is absolutely perfect; big compliments to the interior designer. We felt more comfortable than ever. The staff is excellent and very friendly. The manager was very active and, among other things, even took our order. He gave us excellent advice regarding the menu selection. We didn't have to wait long for the food. And...it was incredibly delicious. Conclusion: Super nice restaurant, great service, and very tasty food. When we're back in Hamburg, we'll stop by again. It's become our favorite restaurant. It's worth more than 5 stars!!!!!!

Four of us spontaneously dropped by on Saturday evening, without a reservation, and we didn't have to wait more than five minutes to be seated, even though it looked pretty busy from the outside. The food, the ambiance, and the service were simply fantastic 🫶🏻 Definitely worth it!

The chain always has excellent quality burgers and meats. You can go in and eat without worry. The price is a little higher than normal.

Simply rude! My food had to be brought back twice because everything was always wrong, and then when it was right, it was cold. The waiters round up the amount and take tips, and they did the same to children! Simply rude.

This time, it was nothing. It took a long time to take our order (25 minutes). It took a long time for the food to arrive after ordering (30 minutes). And then, among other things, the fries were cold. If there are no wait staff, you shouldn't have more seats than can be served.

The restaurant surprised me very pleasantly – the environment is cozy and modern, the interior looks tasteful and the overall atmosphere invites you to stay a little longer. The menu is really rich, especially when it comes to burgers – everyone can choose, whether they like the classics or like to try something new. I also appreciate the option to choose a menu with a side dish and complement it with a great mixed drink in the evening. A big plus is the option of a “naked burger” or salad for those looking for a lighter option. Overall, a great experience, I recommend it.

We were there on Sunday, and Daniel Klein made our evening a wonderful one with his calm demeanor, even though the restaurant was so busy. Thank you so much for the great service, Daniel! Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for our food, but otherwise, the food was absolutely delicious!

Five stars are appropriate. The service team here confidently gives their all. Too many guests for too few staff. Both guests and staff suffer from this. But the staff here are exceptionally dedicated. I'm from Frankfurt. Peter Pane is unfamiliar to me, but the employees here really give their all. I felt that as a guest. The food was delicious and pleasant, although at first I thought the chef was ill because it took so long to serve. Many thanks to the team for taking care of us!

Yesterday's visit to you was unfortunately disappointing. My partner and I often come here at short intervals, and we've always been satisfied, but yesterday we wasted our lunch break. We waited 30 minutes for our food, only to discover it was cold. We didn't say anything to the waiter because he was already sweating profusely. Please, this was just an exception!!!

What delicious burgers and fries, everything was nice and hot, nice atmosphere, music volume was also fine!

A solid 10 out of 10. Very comfortably furnished. During our visit, it was about 50% full. The noise level was bearable. The food was incredibly delicious. I had the "Plunderland" bread roll. The name says it all. My companion also had a bread roll with chicken and some kind of mango sauce. She also raved about it. Points deducted for cleanliness. The table was less than clean. The cutlery and glasses were also only semi-clean.

Overall, an "OK" experience. The ambiance was very nice. The burger bun was rather dry, the meat was unfortunately almost grilled to death, and the fries with truffle dressing were garnished with fried onions (!). Everything tasted exactly like fried onions. The table outside was not clean, and the service was good, but very casual. For me, the visit was OK; I'll try again in a few years.

The food was good. The drinks, especially the Peters lemonade, were delicious. Unfortunately, the seating there is a bit uncomfortable, as the benches have no backrests and are quite hard.

I won't be coming back here! The price-performance ratio is simply not right here. Yes, the burger was okay, but too expensive for what you get. The frozen yogurt was half melted when it arrived. It's a disgrace to expect customers to put up with this. The service was abysmal. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. The benches outside are also much too small for two people.

We had dinner at Peter Pane on a Saturday evening with a reservation. The restaurant wasn't very busy; we probably would have gotten a seat even without a reservation. Parking is available directly across the street (for a fee). Unfortunately, our server didn't pay any attention to us after we'd had our food and drinks, even though he was serving in our corner. We've seen things differently at our competitors. They'd rather be asked more often than less often whether you're satisfied.

This was my first time at Peter Pane, and I really enjoyed it. The burgers are large, juicy, and delicious. The fries were also fresh and crispy. The staff was friendly and served quickly. The atmosphere is modern and cozy.

Today I was with friends at the Burgergrill & Bar Pater Pane (Lange Reihe) in Hamburg. I specifically ordered a Coke Zero without ice cubes. To avoid any misunderstandings, I even showed the server a picture from the online menu and emphasized that it was the sugar-free version. After I had drunk about half a bottle, I noticed that it wasn't Coke Zero, but a Coke with sugar. I asked the server about it. She explained to me that it could happen, there was nothing they could do, and since I had already drunk it, I would have to pay for it. For me personally, it wasn't a question of "pay or not pay" at that moment. A simple apology would have been much more important. I didn't feel heard or taken seriously in this situation. I asked myself: What if I were diabetic? Even a glass of sugary Coke could have had health consequences. Or: What if someone with a severe nut allergy had received a sauce with nuts despite ordering correctly? So I ordered another Coke Zero without ice cubes. This time, I actually received a Coke Zero – but with ice cubes, even though I had again explicitly requested "no ice." The restaurant was at a maximum of 40% capacity at the time, so I wondered why my order couldn't be executed exactly as I requested. Overall, I left with mixed feelings. For me personally, it wasn't just the wrong drink type that was upsetting, but above all the feeling that my concern wasn't really taken seriously. I'm still giving it two stars because the young lady who brought us the food was very nice and friendly.

We came here as a family for dinner. I really liked the ambiance at Peter Pane; both the decor and the presentation of the menu were truly beautiful and lovingly crafted. The service was also super friendly, coming to the table regularly and taking all requests into account. Unfortunately, the food didn't measure up. The chicken nuggets we ordered for the kids were far too dry and barely edible. The burger was also rather mediocre in quality; the patty had relatively little flavor, as did the bun, and the composition of the burger I ordered wasn't as great as I'd hoped. I've had much better burgers at many other places. :(

We spontaneously went to Peter Pane for dinner last night. A reservation wasn't necessary, and it's a visually beautiful restaurant with good food. For us, however, our server, Zac, was the highlight. He was very friendly, accommodating, and always had a funny joke ready. So if we ever come back, it will be because of him :)

I was at the restaurant on the 13th of August for my daughter's birthday and it was only enough to give a short message to Sara, the lady from the service, that my child had given birth and when the burger was served there was a candle and a serenade, my child was completely speechless (very rare) a huge thank you all .5 stars all along the line
